Abstract

Energy is very important for human life, but now the energy is getting decreased because of the increasing energy consumption that is not balance with the supply. In order to overcome these problem many alternative energy has been developed, one of which is solar energy. However the problem is low level of efficiency because the position of solar panels with the sun becomes very important. For optimum solar energy with optimal crossing there are two things to be aware of the elevation angle and azimuth angle. Both angles will be the control points of the solar panels, and these two angles are obtained from sensor readings of gyro sensors for elevation angles and compasses for azimuth angles. Further processed into microcontroller by using PID controller (Proportional, Integral, Derivative) to controll DC motor in solar panel position scheduling according to solar path. With the use of PID controls can improve the response on the motor thus reducing steady state errors and can provide damping effects on the oscillation system. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini banyak energi alternatif telah dikembangkan, salah satunya adalah energi surya. Namun masalahnya adalah rendahnya tingkat efisiensi karena pentingnya posisi panel surya dengan matahari. Oleh karena itu diperlukan penjadwalan posisi panel surya sesuai dengan lintasan matahari. Untuk mendapatkan energi matahari yangs esuai dengan lintasnnya secara optimal ada dua hal yang harus diperhatikan sudut elevasi dan sudut azimuth. Kedua sudut ini akan menjadi titik kontrol panel surya,  dan kedua sudut tersebut didapatkan dari pembacaan sensor yaitu sensor gyro untuk sudut elevasi dan kompas untuk sudut azimuth. Selanjutnya diolah kedalam mikrokontroller dengan menggunakan pengontrol PID (Proporsional, Integral, Derivatif) untuk mengontroll motor DC dalam penjadwalan posisi panel surya sesuai lintasan matahari. Dengan penggunaan kontrol PID dapat memperbaiki respon pada motor sehingga mengurangi error steady state dan dapat memberikan efek redaman pada sistem osilasi. Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, menguji kelayakan, dan menguji keefektivitasan bahan ajar berbentuk modul ajar menganalisis rangkaian listrik (MRL) bermuatan problem solving pada siswa kelas X TITL SMK Negeri 2 Kota Probolinggo. Model pengembangan modul ajar yang digunakan yaitu model pengembangan ADDIE. Model pengembangan ADDIE terdiri dari lima tahapan, yaitu (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, dan (5) evaluation. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada pengembangan ini adalah angket. Berdasarkan analisis data yang dilakukan, maka didapatkan hasil persentase dari review ahli modul guru 96,6%, ahli 1 modul siswa 94,7%, ahli 2 modul siswa 98,1%, dan uji coba lapangan 89,5%, dengan interpretasi kelayakan “sangat valid” dari batas minimal presentase validitas 70,01%. Dari hasil implementasi semua siswa mendapatkan nilai di atas kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM), sehingga dari analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul ajar menganalisis rangkaian listrik (MRL) efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul pembelajaran Fuzzy dan menguji kelayakan modul tersebut untuk dimanfaatkan di Jurusan Teknik Elektro, Universitas Negeri Malang. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan ADDIE dengan lima tahap pengembangan sebagai berikut: (1) Analisis, (2) Desain, (3) Pengembangan, (4) Implementasi, dan (5) Evaluasi.  Produk hasil pengembangan divalidasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media serta diujicobakan pada mahasiswa yang sudah dan sedang menempuh mata kuliah Sistem Cerdas. Hasil dari penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah modul fuzzy untuk pegangan dosen dan modul fuzzy untuk pegangan mahasiswa. Persentase kelayakan yang didapatkan dari validasi ahli materi untuk modul pegangan mahasiswa 91.00% dan modul pegangan dosen 93.00%, validasi ahli media 91.00%. Sedangkan untuk hasil uji coba didapatkan persentase hasil uji coba kelompok kecil 93.36% dan kelompok besar 89.47%. Berdasarkaan data hasil validasi dan uji coba tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan secara keseluruhan layak dan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran Sistem Cerdas di Jurusan Teknik Elektro, Universitas Negeri Malang.

Abstract

Backpropagation is part of supervised learning, in which the training process requires a target. The resulting error is transmitted back to the units below in its training process. Backpropagation can solve complicated problems because it consumes less memory than other algorithms. In addition, it also can produce solutions with a low error rate while executing less time. In image pattern recognition, backpropagation can be utilized for cultural preservation in many places worldwide, including Indonesia. It is used to recognize picture patterns in Javanese script writings. This study concluded that feature extraction approaches, zoning, and backpropagation could be utilized to distinguish handwritten Javanese characters. The best accuracy is attained at 77.00%, with the network architecture comprising 64 input neurons, 40 hidden neurons, a learning rate of 0.003, a momentum of 0.03, and an iteration of 5000.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with diverse cultures. One of which is Wayang Kulit, which has been recognized by UNESCO. Wayang kulit has a variety of names and personalities, however most younger generations are not familiar with the characters of these shadow puppets. With today's rapid technological advancements, people could use this technology to detect objects using cameras. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is one method that can be used. CNN is a learning process that is included in the Deep Learning section and is used to find the best representation. The CNN is commonly used for object detection, would be used to classify good and bad characters. The data used consists of 100 black and white puppet images that were downloaded one at a time. The data was obtained through a training process that uses the CNN method and Google Colab to help speed up the training process. After that, a new model is created to test  the puppet images. The result obtained a 92 percent accuracy rate, means that CNN can differentiate the Wayang Kulit character

Abstract

The increasing need for electrical energy requires suppliers to innovate in developing electric distribution systems that are better in terms of quality and affordability. In its development, it is necessary to have a control that can combine the electricity network from renewable energy and the main network through voltage back-up or synchronization automatically. The purpose of this research is to create an innovative lux and current analysis on a lab-scale smart grid system using a fuzzy logic controller to control the main network, solar panel network and generator network to supply each other with lab-scale electrical energy. In the control, Mamdani fuzzy logic controller method is used as the basis for determining the smart grid system control problem solving by adjusting the current conditions on the main network and the light intensity conditions on the LDR sensor. Current conditions are classified in three conditions namely safe, warning, and trip. Meanwhile, the light intensity conditions are classified into three conditions namely dark, cloudy and bright. From the test results, the utility grid (PLN) is at active conditions when the load current is 0.4 A (safe) and light intensity is 1,167 Lux (dark). Then the PLN + PV condition is active when the load current is 1.37 (warning) and the light intensity is 8,680 lux (bright). Finally, the generator condition is active when the load current is 1.6 (trip) and the light intensity is 8,680 (bright). Based on the test results, it is known that the system can work to determine which source is more efficient based on the parameters obtained.

Abstract

The Utilization of renewable energy such as a photovoltaic system is the foremost alternative in transfers generated by conventional power plants, but the lack of photovoltaics is support for light intensity. The purpose of this research is to develop a pilot-scale smart grid photovoltaic system that can regulate the supply of electrical energy from either the battery or the power supply. The control system in this study uses the Mamdani fuzzy logic method in determining automatic system performance. This system monitors the intensity of light and battery which are then used as automatic safety parameters on the power supply, battery, and photovoltaic. The results of this study display the indicator results from the microcontroller in supplying electrical energy for the use of electrical loads, Power Supply has been served the load when the battery is in a low state which have a voltage 11 Volts, the battery has been served the load when the condition of the battery is in a medium and high condition which has a voltage of 11.5 ; ....; 13 Volts. PV has been served batteries or loads when the light intensity is cloudy and bright which have a light intensity of 3585 ; ...; 10752 Lux. This system can reduce dependence on conventional energy without reducing the quality of the energy supply at load and Photovoltaic system dependence on light intensity does not affect the supply of energy consumption to electrical loads.

Abstract

In the selection process for New Student Admissions, there are many prospective new students. However, not all candidates accepted at a school. They must be passing through the selection stage by following specific criteria. Therefore, schools need to select candidates following specific criteria to make the best selection of students. Especially in vocational high school (VHS), the selection processes are more complex. It is because every department in VHS certainly has its criteria (different in each department). Based on the background, this study aims to propose a method based on Mamdani Fuzzy that can be applied to the new student admission selection process. There are three main stages in this method, which are fuzzification, inference, and defuzzification.

Abstract

This paper presents a harmonic analyzer that used IoT and smart apps for low-cost and portable solutions. We contribute a short review of harmonics measurement methods and experimental approaches for monitoring harmonics using an IoT-based system. The proposed device was built from a current sensor, a voltage sensor, and a microcontroller with an IoT transmitter which is integrated with Matlab© cloud and smart apps (android). In specific, we experimented with testing and validated our proposal using the standard instrument under a fair treatment. The measurement scenario was taken on the point of comment coupling in the building campus for 5 to 10 minutes of each comparable instrument. Based on experimental results, the proposed device could monitor the harmonics profile drawn by the loads in the building campus. The trade-off between cost and performance is founded as the truth that it takes about 1 minute to update the harmonics data. Furthermore, the average error of THDV is 5.7%, and THDI is 4.7% which is higher than the expensive instrument. These values are acceptable based on IEEE standards.  Besides, it could monitor harmonics in real-time through an android application which is easy to use and portable. In addition, the cost of making the proposed device is cheap compared to the price of the standard instruments in the market.
