Abstract

Indonesia, as an archipelago nation located on the equator, is affected by alternating Asian and Australian monsoon systems throughout the year. The east monsoon spans from April to September, while the west monsoon occurs from October to March. In Samarinda, prevailing southern winds lead to significant fluctuations in speed and direction, impacting the stability of bridge structures. Extreme wind events pose risks to suspension bridges through aerodynamic phenomena like flutter, galloping, and vortex shedding, which impose substantial dynamic loads on the structure.This study focuses on analyzing the dynamic response of bridge decks under steady state wind loads. Daily wind data collected from January 2023 to January 2024 revealed wind speeds of 3, 4, and 5 m/s, with extreme speeds reaching 14 and 20 m/s. Steady state simulations were conducted using the simpleFoam solver in Simscale at these speeds, along with the critical velocity of 8.764 m/s derived from the bridge deck's cross-section. The simulation results provided valuable insights into pressure distributions and lateral displacement on the deck.Findings indicate that lateral displacement at a wind speed of 20 m/s reaches 1.235 m, which exceeds design limits and highlights potential structural vulnerabilities. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of steady state CFD simulations in assessing wind-induced effects on bridge structures and underline the importance of mitigation strategies to ensure stability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh fleksibilitas prosedur administratif dan lingkungan kerja digital terhadap kinerja pegawai Generasi Z pada CV. Sahita Electronic Jakarta Selatan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei eksplanatori terhadap 48 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner skala Likert dan dianalisis dengan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fleksibilitas prosedur administratif berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai (β = 0.412; p < 0.05). Lingkungan kerja digital juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan serta memiliki pengaruh lebih dominan (β = 0.538; p < 0.05). Secara simultan, kedua variabel memberikan kontribusi sebesar 57.1% terhadap kinerja pegawai (R² = 0.571). Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penyederhanaan prosedur administratif dan optimalisasi sistem kerja digital dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai Generasi Z. Abstrak This study aims to analyze the effect of administrative procedure flexibility and digital work environment on the performance of Generation Z employees at CV. Sahita Electronic, South Jakarta. The research employed a quantitative approach using an explanatory survey method involving 48 respondents selected through total sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through multiple linear regression. The results indicate that administrative procedure flexibility has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (β = 0.412; p < 0.05). The digital work environment also has a positive and significant effect and demonstrates a more dominant influence (β = 0.538; p < 0.05). Simultaneously, both variables contribute 57.1% to employee performance (R² = 0.571). These findings highlight the importance of simplifying administrative procedures and optimizing digital work systems to enhance the performance of Generation Z employees.

Abstract

Keterbatasan lahan pekarangan di lingkungan perumahan menjadi salah satu kendala utama dalam upaya penguatan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga di wilayah perkotaan dan peri-urban. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan anggota PKK Sumber Pakem RT 04 RW 35 Kelurahan Kebonsari melalui pelatihan budidaya tanaman di lahan sempit serta pengembangan konten promosi wisata edukasi pertanian di Teaching Factory (TeFa) Kebun Inovasi Politeknik Negeri Jember. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan, meliputi analisis kebutuhan, penyusunan materi, pelatihan budidaya dengan metode vertikultur, hidroponik sederhana, dan tabulampot, pendampingan praktik, serta produksi media promosi digital. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, kuesioner pre–post, dan dokumentasi kegiatan, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam budidaya tanaman lahan sempit, munculnya inisiatif pemanfaatan pekarangan sebagai sumber pangan keluarga, serta tersusunnya konten promosi digital yang mendukung branding TeFa Kebun Inovasi sebagai destinasi wisata edukasi pertanian. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi antara institusi pendidikan vokasi dan organisasi masyarakat seperti PKK efektif untuk mengintegrasikan pemberdayaan perempuan, ketahanan pangan rumah tangga, dan pengembangan wisata edukasi pertanian berbasis komunitas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the effect of learning independence and emotional intelligence on problem solving abilities, (2) the effect of independent learning on problem solving abilities, (3) the effect of emotional intelligence on problem solving abilities. This research is a survey research because it does not provide treatment, but only reveals facts that occur naturally and are already ongoing. The research subjects were 74 grade VIII SMP YAPIDA students in the 2019/2020 school year. The data was collected using a questionnaire or questionnaire method. Questionnaire or questionnaire method to collect data on Independent Learning, Emotional Intelligence, and Problem Solving. The sampling technique in this study was simple random sampling. In this study, 54% of the total population was taken as a sample in class VIII SMP Yapida as many as 40 students, while the sample for the instrument test was 34 samples. The results of independent learning and emotional intelligence on problem solving have a probability value of 0.002 < (0.05). So it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between emotional intelligence and students' ability to solve mathematical problems. The results of independent learning on problem solving abilities show a significance value of Tcount 2.04 > 2.022 T table (significance level 5%) so that the conclusion is "There is a Positive and Significant Effect of learning independence on the Problem Solving Ability of Class VIII Students of SMP Yapida Gunung Putri Bogor". The results of the significance test of emotional intelligence on problem-solving abilities with the t-test obtained a Tcount of 3.62 and a T-table of 2.022. These results show a significance value of Tcount 3.62 > 2.022 T table (5% significance level) so that the conclusion is "There is a Positive and Significant Effect of Emotional Intelligence on the Problem Solving Ability of Class VIII Students of SMP Yapida Gunung Putri Bogor".

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to improve students’ English grammar competence through the implementation of a game-based learning approach using Kahoot! at SMK Trunojoyo Jember. The program was designed based on initial observations indicating that Grade 10 students experienced difficulties in understanding basic grammar structures, particularly tenses, subject-verb agreement, and sentence construction. In addition, students showed low learning motivation and limited engagement during conventional classroom instruction. The intervention was conducted through a structured process consisting of needs analysis, pre-assessment, training sessions, and post-assessment over nine meetings. Kahoot! was utilized as an interactive learning and assessment platform to create a more engaging and competitive learning environment. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ grammar understanding, accuracy in answering questions, response speed, and overall participation. Moreover, students demonstrated higher motivation and more active involvement during learning activities. The findings suggest that the integration of digital game-based learning tools such as Kahoot! can effectively enhance both cognitive and affective aspects of language learning in vocational school contexts. This approach also supports the development of a more interactive, student-centered, and technology-integrated learning environment.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information and communication technology has brought significant changes across various aspects of life, including how children and adolescents interact with digital media. TikTok, as one of the most popular social media platforms, offers creative features and an engaging algorithm, yet poses considerable risks to children’s social and psychological development—particularly regarding exposure to harmful content such as pornography. This study aims to examine the role of the non-formal education community Kakak Aman Indonesia in equipping children with the knowledge and skills needed to face the challenges of the digital world. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation and documentation of community activities. The findings reveal that Yayasan Kakak Aman Indonesia plays an active role in preventing exposure to pornographic content through three key strategies: (1) providing digital education for children and parents about the dangers of negative online content; (2) training children in independent, healthy, and safe use of digital media; and (3) offering safe, child-friendly spaces for discussion and reporting cases of sexual violence and pornography exposure. These findings underscore the importance of non-formal educational collaboration in creating a safe digital environment that supports children's growth and development. The implication is that programs such as those conducted by Kakak Aman Indonesia can serve as effective community-based preventive intervention models in addressing the challenges of the digital era.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to develop and evaluate a measurement tool for regular exercise intention based on the Theory of Planned Behavior, focusing on its validity and reliability. The instrument consisted of four core dimensions: intention, perceived behavioral control (PBC), attitude, and subjective norm. The development process included setting objectives, identifying constructs, exploring salient beliefs through interviews, compiling items, conducting qualitative selection, and performing psychometric testing. The initial version applied a 5-point Likert scale (1 = strongly disagree to 5 = strongly agree), and only items with correlation coefficients above 0.2 were retained. Construct validity was examined through correlations with EQ-5D-5L scores and a contrast group analysis comparing students who exercised regularly with those who did not. Reliability was assessed using Cronbach’s Alpha. A total of 69 active students aged 18–25 years participated in the study. The results showed that all four dimensions had significant correlations with both the LSS and VAS EQ-5D-5L scores. Group contrast analysis demonstrated that the instrument could distinguish between intention and PBC, but not between attitude and subjective norms. Reliability values ranged from 0.794 to 0.888, indicating strong internal consistency. Overall, the instrument proved to be valid and reliable; however, testing with larger and more diverse samples is recommended to enhance generalizability and discriminant validity.
