Abstract

Untuk mewujudkan tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan dibutuhkan kesiapan semua bidang, termasuk perpustakaan beserta pustakawannya. Pustakawan yang memiliki multi-kompetensi menjadi syarat untuk dapat berperan dalam mendukung pembangunan nasional. Pustakawan dikatakan mempunyai multikompetensi jika memiliki kemampuan yang bervariasi, baik berupa pengetahuan, sikap, maupun keterampilan sehingga mampu menjalankan tugas kepustakawanan dan tugas lain dengan baik. Selain kompetensi profesional dan kompetensi sosial, multikompetensi yang harus dimiliki pustakawan dalam mendukung pembangunan nasional adalah kompetensi hard dan soft, teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, kecerdasan, literasi media, dan literasi informasi.

Abstract

Generasi muda adalah generasi harapan bangsa. Literasi informasi berperan besar bagi perkembangan dan kemajuan bangsa. Literasi secara sederhana diartikan kemampuan membaca dan menulis. Artikel ini memfokuskan bahasan pada generasi muda sebagai pejuang literasi yang kreatif pada era post-truth. Secara umum dapat dipahami bahwa post truth menjadi tradisi kebohongan, berlebihan, dan ada unsur kepentingan politik. Indikasi fenomena post-truth salah satunya adalah beralihnya fungsi media sosial seolah-olah sebagai penyampai kebenaran, padahal pada kenyataannya, oknum yang dengan sengaja menyalahgunakannya untuk menyebar berita bohong. Pada tataran ini, generasi muda dituntut kreatif dalam memanfaatkan media dengan cara memilih dan memilah informasi secara tepat. Meskipun pemerintah telah menindak tegas pelaku penyebar hoaks (hoax), berita bohong (fake news), dan ujaran kebencian (hate speech), proliferasi dan viralisasi masih saja bermunculan dan menimbulkan keresahan di masyarakat. Dari berbagai fakta tersebut, multikompetensi dan multimodalitas dibutuhkan agar generasi muda bisa lebih kritis dan mampu memberikan solusi. Literasi informasi menjadi modal generasi muda dalam meningkatkan kreativitas untuk kemajuan bangsa. Hal ini karena dengan literasi informasi, generasi muda akan memiliki pengetahuan, keterampilan, maupun kecakapan hidup pada era post-truth.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gaya kepemimpinan yang digunakan, mengetahui tipe pemimpin dalam memimpin, dan untuk mengetahui karakteristik pemimpin yang dimiliki oleh koordinator perpustakaan Fakultas Hukum Universitas Diponegoro. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yang dijadikan sumber dalam penelitian ini sebanyak empat informan tenaga perpustakaan yang berkedudukan sebagai bawahan dan satu informan koordinator perpustakaan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan yang digunakan koordinator perpustakaan Fakultas Hukum Universitas Diponegoro dalam memimpin adalah menggunakan gaya demokratis, pemberi motivasi dan pengarahan. Selanjutnya koordinator perpustakaan mempunyai tipe paternalistis dalam memimpin, dan tanggung jawab yang besar adalah karakteristik yang ada pada diri koordinator perpustakaan. Kata kunci : gaya kepemimpinan, tipe pemimpin, karakteristik pemimpin. ABSTRACT This study is to determine the leadership style used, to determine the type of leader in leading, and to determine the characteristics of the leader possessed by the library coordinator of the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects who were used as sources in this study were four library staff informants who were subordinates and one library coordinator informant. The data collection technique was done by observing, interviewing, and studying the documentation. The conclusion from the research results shows that the leadership style used by the library coordinator of the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University in leading is using a democratic style, giving motivation and direction. Furthermore, the library coordinator has a paternalistic type of leading, and big responsibility is the characteristic that exists in the library coordinator. Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengelolaan Journal of Coastal Development Universitas Diponegoro. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Informan dalam penelitian ialah 2 (dua) orang pengelola Journal of Coastal Development. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan Journal of Coastal Development sudah cukup baik tetapi masih perlu diperbaiki dalam hal cakupan informasi, bentuk informasi, dan alur perlakuan naskah. Kata kunci: pengelolaan, jurnal ilmiah, Journal of Coastal Development, Universitas Diponegoro  AbstractThis research aims to determine the management of Diponegoro University’s Journal of Coastal Development. The method used is qualitative descriptive with a case study approach. Informants in this study were two managers of the Journal of Coastal Development. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results show that the management of the Journal of Coastal Development is good enough but still needs to be improved in terms of information coverage, information form, and the management of processing scripts. The managers are recommended to make some improvements in terms of information coverage, information form, and the management of processing scripts.  Keywords: management, scientific journals, Journal of Coastal Development, Diponegoro University

Abstract

The meaning of monograph is writing on a single subject. The monograph book form is published in one volume or one series. A monograph issue is not a complete issue in several volumes. More precisely not a radiant issue. The monograph book is a straightforward and concise form of writing a research paper with details on a particular subject. Writing a monograph is based on a literature survey, meaning it is the extraction and compilation of relevant information on a single specialized topic. A monograph book is a work of research written by an expert or a specialist in its field and contains one topic or some related subjects. The monograph is provided as a literature reference and can be used to hold learning material. The lecturer and librarian have the opportunity to create a monograph book from research done. Research articles published in journals can be converted into monograph category books so that they are substantially more valuable, have greater material density, and have greater dissemination opportunities.

Abstract

This study identified of school education leadership skills in supporting virtual learning approach during pandemic disruption. The author believes that online learning requires solid educational leadership, which can empower all potential and influence. Hence, learning objectives was affected by the Covid-19 pandemic run well. So, the researchers have visited several scientific publications on several application databases of educational leadership studies during the disruption of the pandemic several complications such as Eric Publications, Google book, Taylor and France, and many other publications actively discussing educational leadership issues during distance learning as a result of responding to the Covid-19 pandemic. While the review process involves several stages, first, giving coded the data, evaluated and looked for relevance, interpreted it in depth to conclude if the findings were relevant in answering valid questions. This study was entirely dependent on secondary data in the form of field details that have been published in various scientific publication journals, especially about educational leadership during pandemic disturbances. We found that there were a number of leadership educations was used to support virtual learning during pandemic as mention in finding section. Abstract

This study analyzes how technological innovation supports and improves student learning outcomes and sustainability at Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Antasari. This study obtained data from interviews with senior lecturers and researchers and 12 resource persons, and 12 open questions. We conducted a series of questions for interviews and a literature study to understand how this change occurred. Next, the researchers analyzed the interview results with a phenomenological approach; to ascertain how technological innovation supports 21st-century learning in higher education. Based on the existing data and discussion, concluded that technological innovations such as the internet and digital applications currently in academic activities in the distance learning process and student face-to-face classes strongly support that goal. This considers the penetration of the internet and computer technology used in learning and teaching. With the experience of lecturers and students at UIN Antasari. Technological innovation supports learning there with the clear advantages of existing technology. Abstract

The article is to examine several pieces of evidence from previous studies to understand higher education governance in the crisis-era related to the challenges of achieving equal distribution of education quality. Data collection involves searching for many published articles, including journals, books, magazines, and websites that discuss higher education governance issues regarding quality and opportunity. The data analysis involves a comprehensive evaluation data coding system, critical interpretation, and comprehensive and high decision making. The data search is done with the help of technology, especially online data sources using keywords such as the quality of higher education, equal opportunity. Based on the findings, explanations, and discussions, we can summarize that the governance of higher education in the crisis era faces various challenges related to equity and the achievement of high quality. When a crisis occurs, the changes are significant, and they cannot carry out various obligations and intellectual rights so that they ignore the quality and equity of higher education. Therefore, this study recommends that high fences be managed by emphasizing finding solutions to address the challenges of service quality and equity by following guidelines and regulations in force in many countries. It is hoped that this study will become an essential input to solve the challenges of higher education afflicted by various crises. Abstract

This study is inspired by the change in the concept of the traditional library space to a modern facility. The concept of definition in this study is aimed at explaining how library users mark and define spaces within Diponegoro University Economy and Business Faculty Library. This new ethnography method is used to obtain a comprehensive description by conducting a critical analysis of users' defining practice toward the spaces provided in the library. Data is collected by observing participants, interviews and literature review. There are four informants chosen purposively. The result shows that the library is defined as a comfortable place for using the Internet, spending free times, a place for intellectuals. The result is therefore usedfor  constn1cting the identity of users with modern lifestyles.

Abstract

Innovation is a certain idea, practice or product that is realized and accepted as something new to be adopted. Adoption is a process from getting acquainted with an innovation to decide to accept or reject. There is an innovation category that is sustaining and discontinues. An indication that there has been an innovation acceptance process is that it appears in behavioral, cognitive, affective and psychomotor changes.
