Abstract

This research aims to analyse the application of Tafsir Maqasidi to realising (work-life balance) and improving family welfare based on maqasid al-shariah principles. The research method uses a qualitative approach through a literature study with the main source Al-Qur'an, Hadith, and academic literature. The results show that maqasid al-shariah includes the maintenance of religion (hifz al-din), soul (hifz al-nafs), reason (hifz al-aql), property (hifz al-mal), and offspring (hifz al-nasl) to be the basis for the fair division of husband-wife roles. The husband is responsible as the leader of the family in maintaining religious values, providing for, educating children, and protecting the family from negative influences. Meanwhile, the wife plays a role as a companion to her husband, manager of the household, and the main educator of the children. The collaboration of both parties, supported by flexibility and mutual agreement, creates a harmonious family (sakinah) and a balance between worldly and hereafter responsibilities. This research highlights the importance of integration of Islamic principles in overcoming modern challenges related to work-life balance, while strengthening the role of the family as the main unit of the formation of a moral society.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of various recovery methods and rehydration on heart rate and blood pressure. The 24 athletes (age 24,3±5,1 years, 67,6±16 kg, 166,5±5,2 cm, and VO2max 40,6±2,25 ml/kg/min) divided into six treatment groups, namely K1 (passive recovery), K2 (active recovery), K3 (isotonic fluids), K4 (green coconut water), K5 (active recovery+isotonic fluids), and K6 (active recovery+green coconut water). All subjects underwent a fatigue protocol using the Yoyo intermittent recovery test level 1 (YYIRT1), blood pressure and heart rate were measured pre and post the recovery intervention to assess the effects of various types of treatment. The results of this study indicate that active recovery, passive recovery, rehydration fluid administration, and their combination did not reduce systolic blood pressure (p>0.05). However, there was a significant difference in the reduction of diastolic blood pressure (p=0.045). The recovery method using isotonic fluids (K3) showed the highest reduction in diastolic pressure compared to the other treatments. The results of the difference test analysis show a significant difference in heart rate after treatment in each group (p=0.013). Similar results were also found for the difference value between treatments (p=0.004). This study show that the recovery method using isotonic fluids showed the highest reduction in diastolic pressure and heart rate after high intensity exercise compared to the other treatments. Active recovery method after exercise showed most significant decrease in heart rate after exercise.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of deep learning methods in analyzing linguistically diverse customer reviews on Shopee to generate actionable product insights. By integrating Word2Vec, Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), and Deep K-Means clustering, the proposed workflow moves beyond simple polarity detection toward aspect-based sentiment analysis. Customer reviews were preprocessed and represented using Word2Vec (skip-gram) to capture semantic proximity across informal registers, slang, abbreviations, and code-switching. A one-dimensional CNN then classified reviews into positive and negative sentiments, achieving 93–94% accuracy with balanced F1-scores across both classes. To extract aspect-level insights, reviews were projected into a latent space via an autoencoder and clustered using K-Means, with evaluation metrics (Silhouette ≈ 0.6; DBI ≈ 0.5) confirming adequate cohesion and separation. Positive clusters highlighted product design, durability, and ease of use, while negative clusters emphasized material quality, packaging, and delivery issues. These findings demonstrate that deep learning can adapt to sociolinguistic variation in Indonesian e-commerce discourse while providing structured, socially meaningful insights. This research is significant for the field of Informatics as it advances Natural Language Processing techniques for multilingual and code-switched data, addressing a key challenge in real-world text mining applications. The approach offers practical value for sellers in improving product quality, enhancing customer satisfaction, and refining marketing strategies.

Abstract

Power is key element in Muay Thai to executing quick attacks and avoiding opponent attacks, Therefore, developing power through a structured training program is crucial for Muay Thai athletes to improve their performance in the fighting arena. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of complex training on improving leg and arm power among members of a Muay Thai club. This study employed a one group pre-test post-test design with 15 participants. The complex training program was carried out in 12 sessions over 4 weeks. The Standing long jump Test was used to measure leg power, while the Medicine ball chest pass Test was used to measure arm power. Data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, homogeneity test, and paired sample t-test with SPSS version 27. The findings revealed that leg power increased by 8.87% (from 201.53 ± 24.26 cm to 219.40 ± 31.55 cm), but this increase was not statistically significant (p = 0.132; p > 0.05). Meanwhile, arm power increased by 20.16% (from 332.93 ± 74.49 cm to 400.07 ± 53.77 cm) with a statistically significant difference (p = 0.015; p < 0.05). Complex training significantly improved arm power but did not significantly affect leg power. Keywords: complex training, leg power, arm power, muay thai.

Abstract

Abstract

Physical fitness is a vital component that influences the performance of karate athletes. Factors such as nutrition knowledge, macronutrient intake, and body fat percentage are suspected to play an important role in fitness levels. To analyze the relationship between nutrition knowledge, macronutrient intake, and body fat percentage with the fitness level of karate athletes. This study used a cross-sectional design with a sample of 20 karate athletes aged 13–21 years from Inkai Dojo 212, Cirebon Regency. Nutrition knowledge was assessed using a questionnaire, dietary intake was evaluated through a 2×24-hour food recall, body fat percentage was measured using an Omron BIA device, and fitness was assessed using the Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Level 1 test. Data analysis was performed using the Spearman test. Most respondents were aged 13–17 years and had a junior high school education level. There was a significant relationship between nutrition knowledge (p<0.000), energy intake (p<0.006), protein (p<0.007), carbohydrate (p<0.041), and body fat percentage (p<0.032) with fitness level. However, no significant relationship was found between fat intake and fitness level (p>0.600). There is a significant relationship between nutrition knowledge, macronutrient intake (except fat), and body fat percentage with the fitness level of karateathletes.
