Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this community service program in Desa Pesawaran Indah is to enhance public understanding and participation in sustainable waste management by introducing the 7R principles: Rethink, Refuse, Reduce, Repurpose, Reuse, Recycle, and Rot. Methodology: The program utilized a structured socialization approach, which included developing educational materials and conducting interactive discussions with village officials and members of the Women’s Farmers Group (KWT). Each 7R principle was introduced, practical applications were explored, and local waste management challenges were addressed. Results: The program resulted in a substantial increase in participants' understanding, with comprehension levels rising from an initial 2-4 participants to 18-21 participants who fully understood key principles like "Rethink" and "Recycle" by the program's conclusion. Conclusions: The program successfully enhanced community knowledge and engagement in sustainable waste management. Future initiatives could benefit from practical training to reinforce knowledge and empower participants to implement waste management strategies, contributing to the development of environmentally conscious communities aligned with broader sustainability goals. Limitations: The limitations of the study include the absence of practical demonstrations and the limited sample size, which may affect the generalizability of the findings. Contribution: This program contributes to the field of environmental education by promoting sustainable waste management practices within rural communities and aligning local actions with global sustainability goals.

Abstract

This research focuses on the assessment of State Property (BMN) at the State Property and Auction Service Office (KPKNL). The Systematic Literature Review method was used using identified research questions consisting of PICO (Population, Intervention, Comparator, and Outcome). Case studies in several KPKNLs reveal that the role of work units has not been fully evaluated, the rental value calculation process has not been optimal, and BMN revaluation improvements have been successful despite facing obstacles. Although the assessment was carried out according to regulations, a need was found to address the lack of understanding of work units, optimize rental value calculations, and better time management. The BMN assessment at KPKNL is in accordance with regulations, but improvements are needed, including better understanding of work units, optimization of the rental value calculation process, and more efficient time management in BMN revaluation.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to evaluate the maturity level of Information Technology (IT) governance at Hotel Daily Inn using the COBIT 2019 framework and to predict hotel reservation trends through a data science approach using the Bayesian Structural Time Series (BSTS) algorithm. A mixed-method approach is applied, combining qualitative methods for IT governance evaluation and quantitative methods for reservation prediction. Data collection involves literature review, interviews with four main divisions (Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Security), observations, and documentation of reservation data from 2018 to 2022. The evaluation results indicate that the IT governance maturity level is at the "Managed" stage, with several areas requiring improvement, particularly in process monitoring and control. Meanwhile, the BSTS algorithm effectively models reservation fluctuations by accounting for external factors such as national holidays and the COVID-19 pandemic. The model demonstrates good predictive performance, evaluated through MAPE, MAE, MSE, and RMSE metrics. The study concludes that strengthening IT governance and leveraging data-driven predictions can enhance business strategy effectiveness in the hospitality sector Keywords: COBIT 2019, BSTS, hotel reservation, IT governance, prediction, data science Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kematangan tata kelola teknologi informasi (TI) di Hotel Daily Inn menggunakan kerangka kerja COBIT 2019 serta memprediksi tren reservasi hotel dengan pendekatan data science menggunakan algoritma Bayesian Structural Time Series (BSTS). Metode campuran digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu dengan pendekatan kualitatif untuk analisis tata kelola TI dan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk analisis prediktif reservasi hotel. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi literatur, wawancara dengan empat divisi utama (Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, dan Security), observasi, serta dokumentasi data reservasi dari tahun 2018 hingga 2022. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kematangan tata kelola IT masih berada pada level "Managed" dengan beberapa area yang perlu diperkuat, khususnya dalam pemantauan dan pengendalian proses. Sementara itu, algoritma BSTS berhasil memodelkan fluktuasi reservasi dengan memperhitungkan faktor eksternal seperti hari libur nasional dan pandemi COVID-19. Model ini menunjukkan performa yang baik dengan nilai akurasi prediktif yang dievaluasi menggunakan metrik MAPE, MAE, MSE, dan RMSE. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penguatan tata kelola IT dan pemanfaatan prediksi berbasis data dapat meningkatkan efektivitas strategi bisnis di sektor perhotelan.  Kata kunci: COBIT 2019, BSTS, reservasi hotel, tata kelola IT, prediksi, data science

Abstract

ABSTRAKDesa Pernajuh Kecamatan Socah dan Daerah Pesisir Kecamatan Labang merupakan desa yang terletak dekat dengan pantai. Kecamatan Socah menjadi TPA dari Kabupaten Bangkalan yang menyebabkan sampah yang ada di Bangkalan mengalami penumpukan. Paving block menjadi salah satu cara untuk memanfaatkan sampah plastik untuk digunakan sebagai membuka peluang pekerjaan kepada masyarakat lain dan memberikan tambahan penghasilan. Pemberian pemahaman dan cara pembuatan kepada para pemuda juga dilakukan untuk membantu mengurangi penumpukan sampah dengan memanfaatkannya melalui daur ulang menjadi paving block. Pemilihan plastik jenis PTE dipilih karena plastic jenis ini sangat tidak diperbolehkan untuk dipakai berulang kalai atau hanya dipakai hanya satu kali. Plastik yang berasal dari bahan-bahan yang dapat berbahaya bagi kesehatan tubuh manusia. Selain itu edukasi secara langsung kepada masyarakat secara door to door dan juga dengan menggunakan flyer mengenai penjelasan Covid-19. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dengan mengedukasi masyarakat mengenai penerapan protokol kesehatan berupa penjelasan penerapan 5M dan pemakaian masker dengan benar. Pembagian sembako dilakukan kepada masyarakat untuk membantu mengurangi dampak Covid-19.

Abstract

Masalah pengelolaan sampah masih menjadi tantangan utama dalam menciptakan lingkungan bersih dan sehat, terutama di area publik. Kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pembuangan sampah dan keterbatasan sistem tradisional menjadi alasan perlunya inovasi berbasis teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem tempat sampah pintar berbasis Arduino Uno yang mampu membuka dan menutup otomatis menggunakan sensor ultrasonik dan servo motor. Selain berfungsi secara otomatis, sistem ini juga mengintegrasikan desain visual ornamen rumah adat Joglo sebagai upaya memperkuat kearifan lokal dan meningkatkan daya tarik edukatif. Perangkat keras dirancang dengan komponen utama seperti sensor HC-SR04, mikrokontroler Arduino Uno, dan aktuator servo, sedangkan desain luar menyesuaikan bentuk atap Joglo sebagai identitas budaya. Sistem akan mendeteksi objek dalam jarak tertentu dan secara otomatis mengaktifkan servo untuk membuka tutup tempat sampah. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis , perancangan awal , perancangan sistem,perancangan perangkat keras serta pengujian sistem. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan sistem mampu beroperasi secara efisien dan stabil. Integrasi nilai budaya lokal pada tampilan fisik tempat sampah turut memperkuat aspek sosial dan edukatif dari inovasi ini. Dengan demikian, proyek ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi yang adaptif terhadap isu lingkungan sekaligus memperkenalkan nilai budaya dalam teknologi modern

Abstract

This study aims to determine 1) Changes in paddy field land cover to other land uses in Payakumbuh City from 2012 – 2022, 2) The process of changing paddy fields into residential areas in 2012 – 2022. The research method used in this study was a mixed research method (mixed method). Based on the research results, the research results obtained 1) Changes from paddy fields to other land uses from 2012 to 2022 covering an area of ​​67.96 ha. Paddy fields turned into bodies of water, open land, shrubs, plantations and settlements. 2) The process of conversion of paddy fields in Payakumbuh City is gradual with sporadic patterns and multi-form or no-form conversion. Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this community service program in Pesawaran Indah Village is to introduce sustainable drying technology powered by Micro-Hydro Power Plants (PLTMH) to improve the efficiency and quality of post-harvest processing in the village's coffee, cocoa, clove, and nutmeg farming sectors. Methodology: The program utilized a community-based approach that involved socializing the benefits of PLTMH-powered drying technology, determining strategic locations for its implementation, and constructing a drying machine with a capacity of 4 x 20 kg. The program also focused on enhancing the community's knowledge of energy sources and drying techniques through workshops and discussions. Results: The program successfully increased community awareness of energy-efficient drying technology, with understanding rising from 20% to 80%. The construction of the drying machine was completed, and the community was encouraged to adopt this technology, which is expected to enhance agricultural product quality, promote sustainable energy use, and empower local farmers. Conclusion: The program effectively introduced a sustainable technology that supports local agricultural practices and promotes the use of renewable energy. The adoption of this technology is expected to benefit the community by improving post-harvest processing and increasing the value of agricultural products. Limitations: The program's scope was limited to a small-scale implementation, and further efforts are needed to monitor its long-term impact on product quality and community adoption. Contribution: This community service program contributes to promoting sustainable agricultural practices and renewable energy use in rural communities, offering a model for enhancing local economic development through appropriate technology.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi konsep Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM) dalam perspektif Al-Qur'an, dengan fokus pada bagaimana ajaran-ajaran Islam menegaskan pentingnya penghormatan terhadap martabat manusia, keadilan, dan kebebasan individu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Penelitian kepustakaan adalah penelitian dimana data-data atau bahan-bahan yang diperlukan dalam menyelesaikan penelitian yang berasal dari perpustakaan baik baik berupa buku, ensiklopedia, kamus, jurnal, majalah dan lain sebagainya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Islam mengakui dan menjunjung tinggi hak-hak asasi setiap individu, termasuk hak atas kehidupan, kebebasan beragama, dan perlakuan yang adil. Al-Qur'an menegaskan bahwa setiap manusia memiliki martabat yang harus dihormati dan bahwa keadilan harus ditegakkan tanpa memandang latar belakang sosial, ekonomi, atau agama. Selain itu, Al-Qur'an juga mendorong kebebasan beragama, menekankan bahwa tidak ada paksaan dalam beragama, dan menghormati pilihan individu dalam keyakinan mereka. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa prinsip-prinsip HAM yang terdapat dalam Al-Qur'an sangat relevan dan dapat berkontribusi positif dalam upaya global untuk mempromosikan dan melindungi HAM di berbagai belahan dunia. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Islam, melalui ajaran-ajaran Al-Qur'an, mendukung dan memperkuat komitmen terhadap penghormatan dan perlindungan hak-hak asasi manusia.

Abstract

The potential of biogas from cattle dung in Lampung province is big enough that 227 792 kg / day based on the number of cattle and buffalo tails as much as 742.8. During this shelter biogas only placed in plain tubes which are then piped into the pipeline for use as lighting and gas stove. This study intends to outline the principles of storage technology in LPG cylinder biogas, biogas and testing by cooling and compressing. Abstract

A Classification of Quranic verses based on topics is one of the efforts to facilitate understanding and searching for information in the holy book, especially for non-Arabic readers. This study aims to test and compare the performance of three text classification methods, namely K-nearest neighbors (KNN), support vector machine (SVM), and random forest (RF), in grouping translated Quranic verses into 15 topic classes, such as Islamic arkanul, faith, the Quran, science and its branches, charity, da'wah, jihad, human and social relations, and others. The dataset used is the English translation of the Quran with full preprocessing and an 80:20 data split for training and testing. The evaluation was carried out using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. The results show that RF achieved the best performance with an average F1-score of 58.48% and testing accuracy of 90.81%. KNN followed with an F1-score of 54.07% and the highest testing accuracy of 92.05%, while SVM produced the lowest F1-score at 50.76% and accuracy of 88.20%. The RF demonstrates a more balanced ability in recognizing all classes, KNN excels in overall accuracy, and SVM performs less optimally in this classification task. This research is expected to serve as a foundation for developing a more intelligent and contextual topic-based verse classification system.
