Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh e-booklet berbasis Discovery Learning terhadap Minat belajar Peserta didik pada materi sistem koordinasi Biologi SMA. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas XI di SMA Negeri 2 Rambah Hilir . beralamat Kumu kec. Rambah Hilir dan Pengambilan data pada bulan Maret sampai April 2021/2022. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah selurh siswa kelas XI SMA N 2 Rambah Hilir tahun ajaran 2021/2022 dengan jumlah 2 kelas. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket, observasi, wawancara dan melalui uji tes kognitif.. Hasil nilai rerata minat belajar peserta didik pada saat sebelum perlakuan untuk kelas eksperimen 65.4 kategori rendah dan kelas kontrol 65.2 kategori rendah. setelah pemberian E-Booklet berbasis Discovery Learning pada kelas ekperimen terjadi peningkatan rerata minat belajar kelas eksperimen 84,2 kategori tinggi, kelas kontrol memperoleh nilai rata-rata 65.5 kategori sedang Hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan secara kesulurah E-Booklet berbasis Discovery Learning valid dan layak digunakan pada tahapan selanjutnya.

Abstract

Udang rebon merupakan salah satu hasil laut dari jenis udang-udangan yang memiliki ukuran tubuh yang lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan jenis udang lain, umumnya dimanfaatkan untuk pembuatan terasi dengan menambahkan garam dan lama fermentasi dalam proses pembuatannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi garam dan lama fermentasi terhadap kualitas terasi udang rebon (Acetes erythraeus) serta menghasilkan rancangan booklet sebagai bahan ajar pada pembelajaran biologi kelas XII SMA. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua tahap yaitu eksperimen dan perancangan booklet pada bulan April-Mei 2021. Eksperimen dengan desain Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dua faktor, yaitu konsentrasi garam yang berbeda dan lama waktu fermentasi yang berbeda, yang terdiri dari 5 taraf perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Untuk setiap perlakuan diberikan 200 gram udang rebon segar dan ditambahkan garam 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%, dan lama fermentasi 7 hari, 15 hari, 23 hari, 30 hari. Parameter yang diamati adalah kadar protein, kadar lemak, kadar air dan pH. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konsentrasi garam dan lama fermentasi berpengaruh nyata terhadap masing-masing parameter. Kadar protein, kadar lemak, kadar air, kadar pH terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan G5F4 (30%+30 hari). Hasil eksperimen digunakan untuk booklet sebagai bahan ajar pada materi bioteknologi untuk pembelajaran Biologi di SMA kelas XII.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of the combination of fermented tofu waste water and rice washing water used as liquid organic fertilizer on the growth of lettuce (lactuca sativa L.) with the hydroponic wick technique. The research was carried out at the Biology Education Study Program, FKIP Riau University, Pekanbaru, November 2020 to April 2021. This study consisted of two stages, namely stage I. The combination of fermented tofu waste water and rice washing water on lettuce with a hydroponic wick using an experimental method with a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments with 3 replications. Phase II is the design of the media booklet. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, leaf width, and plant root length. Data analysis used ANOVA and DMRT Follow-up Test at 5% level. The results showed that the combination of fermented tofu waste water and rice washing water had a significant effect on the growth of plant height, number of leaves, leaf width, and root length of lettuce plants. The best concentration was in the T1B1 treatment with a concentration of 50 ml of tofu waste water and 50 ml of rice washing water. The research data was designed as a booklet for biotechnology material for class XII SMA KD 3.10 and 4.10.Key words: Waste water, tofu, rice washing water, booklets

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat buku catatan bioteknik dengan teknik acrostic mnemonic di kelas VIII SMP/MT, dan untuk mengetahui hasil verifikator dan validasi guru serta respon siswa terhadap buku catatan bioteknik. Kami mengambil pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Untuk penelitian ini, model penelitian R&D yang dipilih adalah ADDIE dan terdiri dari:Analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, evaluasi. Namun, penelitian ini baru mencapai tahap pengembangan. Jenis data dan alat pengumpulan data adalah lembar wawancara dan lembar angket. Beberapa reviewer yang menilai kualitas buku ini adalah dua ahli materi dan dua ahli media. Untuk praktisi pendidikan, beliau memiliki dua orang guru dari dua sekolah yang berbeda yaitu, MTs Al-Munawwarah (1) dan SMP As-Said (1). Dalam tes kelompok kecil, peneliti menyuruhnya bersekolah di dua sekolah, masing-masing dengan 10 siswanya, dan tes kinerja dilakukan di sekolah dengan 10 siswanya. Hasil penelitian ini masuk dalam kategori sangat layak berdasarkan kriteria kelayakan yang dinilai oleh validator. Berdasarkan hasil uji ahli materi persentasenya 84,15%, ahli media 88,19%, guru 88,54%, dan siswa 88,44%, semuanya masuk kategori sangat baik. Tes praktik menunjukkan skor 88,72% yang termasuk kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian Validator, respon guru dan siswa, Buku Panduan Mnemonic Kelas VIII SMP/MTs Materi Struktur Tumbuhan dan Pemanfaatannya dalam Teknologi sangat cocok untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran IPA Kelas VIII. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce Think Talk Write (TTW) electronic modules with nitro pro as teaching materials on appropriate biotechnology materials so that they can be used in distance learning. Data collection was carried out in March-April 2021 with 10 class XII students at SMA 1 Lubuk Batu Jaya and SMA 2 Lubuk Batu Jaya for the 2020/2021 academic year. The development model in research is Research And Development (R&D) development which uses the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages of development namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Data collection consisted of interview sheets, material expert validation sheets, media experts, biology teachers and student response questionnaires. Results of validation by material experts 82% (very qualified), media experts 94% (very qualified) and biology teachers 91% (very qualified), recapitulation results 87% with category (very qualified) and student response questionnaire results 88% (very good ). It was concluded that the Think Talk Write (TTW) Electronic Module with Nitro Pro as a Teaching Material for Biotechnology Materials is very suitable for use in high school.

Abstract

Research on the development of an integrated science pocket book based on scientific literacy on environmental pollution and climate change aims to see the validity, practicality and response of students. This study used ADDIE's research development (R&D) which consisted of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. But in this research only reached the development stage. Data is collected through a questionnaire. After analyzing the needs and designing an integrated science literacy-based pocket book, the research proceeded to the development process. Scientific literacy consists of 4 aspects, each aspect has its own indicator code. At the pocket book development stage it was validated by five experts, namely, material experts, media experts and 2 teachers. The results showed that the validation of material, media, pedagogic experts , and 2 teachers was 3.42 with a very valid category. The results of the practicality test obtained a score of 81.84 which can be categorized as very practical, and the results of the student response test obtained a score of 86.05 in the very good category . In conclusion, the development of integrated science pocket books based on scientific literacy on environmental pollution and climate change is stated to be very valid, practical and very well used by students in the learning process.

Abstract

Abstrak : Keterampilan abad 21 siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui pemberian instrumen evaluasi berbasis HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills). Berdasarkan analisis situasi pada sekolah mitra masih banyak guru yang belum menggunakan instrumen evaluasi berbasis HOTS dikarenakan ketidakmampuan guru dalam menyusun soal tes berbasis HOTS serta belum berbasis teknologi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun soal evaluasi berbasis HOTS dengan menggunakan aplikasi Live Worksheet. Kegiatan terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu, (1) persiapan; (2) pelaksanaan; dan (3) evaluasi. Sekolah mitra yaitu SMA N 1 Benai Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi Provinsi Riau dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 30 orang. Ukuran ketercapaian kegiatan berdasarkan peningkatan pretest dan posttest serta angket respons peserta. Hasil kegiatan diperoleh bahwa pengetahuan peserta pelatihan meningkat sebesar 48.9% dan guru sudah dapat memasukan soal kedalam aplikasi live worksheet. Berdasarkan hasil angket mendapat respons positif dari peserta pengabdian mencapai 95.8% dengan kategori sangat baik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian dapat meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun soal evaluasi berbasis HOTS melalui aplikasi live worksheet.Abstract: One way to improve students' 21st century skills is through the provision of evaluation instruments based on HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) abilities. Based on the situation analysis at SMA N 1 Benai, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province, many teachers have not used HOTS-based evaluation instruments due to the teacher's inability to prepare HOTS-based test questions and an evaluation system that is not yet technology-based. This service activity aims to improve the teacher's ability to compile HOTS-based evaluation questions using the Live Worksheet application. Service activities consist of 3 stages, namely, (1) preparation; (2) implementation; and (3) evaluation. The partners in this activity were SMA N 1 Benai, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province with 30 participants. The measure of the achievement of community service activities can be seen from the increased value of the pretest and posttest as well as the questionnaire responses of the community service participants. The results of the service activities obtained data that the knowledge of the training participants increased by 48.9% and the teacher was able to enter questions into the live worksheet application. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it received a positive response from the service participants reaching 95.8% in the very good category. It can be concluded that community service activities can improve teachers' abilities in compiling HOTS-based evaluation questions through the live worksheet application.

Abstract

The use of tofu waste water using the hydroponic technique of the floating raft system is not well known, so it needs to be done as an innovation. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of tofu liquid waste fermentation on the growth of red lettuce (Lactuca sativa L var. Red rapids) using the floating raft hydroponic technique. The research was carried out in an experimental stage, namely the effect of tofu liquid waste on the growth of red lettuce (Lactuca sativa L var. Red rapids). This research method is an experimental method using a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 3 replications. Parameters observed were plant height, leaf width, number of leaves, root length, wet weight and dry weight. The results of the analysis of variance (Anava) at 5% level, the use of tofu liquid waste showed a significant effect on the growth of red lettuce. Giving a concentration of 2.5 liters of tofu liquid waste with 5 liters of water resulted in the best growth of red lettuce.

Abstract

The development of education continues to progress in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) driving many changes, one of which is creating the concept of e-learning. The e-learning media in this study are electronic mind maps or prezi-based electronic mind maps. This research is research development (Research and Development), using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research reached the learning media development stage or the development stage. The testing phase for the development of the e-mind map is analyzed in the form of validity (media validation, material validation, construct validation), practicality, and student responses. The results of the validation analysis are in the very valid category, practicality is in the very practical category used in learning, and student responses are in the very good category and are well received by students in learning.

Abstract

The rapid growth of Indonesia's population has resulted in increasing national energy needs which require alternative energy. Alternative energy that can be made is briquettes by producing biomass waste. The purpose of this study was to obtain the quality of charcoal briquettes from kolang forth skin waste using a mixture of starch and sago flour as an adhesive. In this study there were tests for water content, ash content, heat and density. The completely randomized design (CRD) method was used in this study, with 5 treatments and 3 replications. Obtained research results using kolang forth shell waste can be used to make charcoal briquettes. Average water content and ash content comply with SNI 1-6235-2000. The best water content value was found in treatment E (0% starch adhesive : 30% sago adhesive) which was 3.8%. The best ash content value was found in treatment A (30% starch adhesive: 0% sago adhesive) which was 5.87%. The calorific value did not meet SNI but met Japanese standards and the best treatment results were found in treatment C (15% starch adhesive: 15% sago flour) which was 5,470 cal/gr. Meanwhile, the density values ​​do not meet SNI but meet British standards for all treatments. The best density value was found in treatment A (starch adhesive 30: sago adhesive 0) which was 0.84%.
