Abstract

Malnutrition is a major health problem in children under five because it can inhibit the process of growth and development. Of the prevalence of totally wasted in the world, 69% is in Asia and 23% is in Africa. The results of the 2018 Riskesdas, the prevalence of malnutrition in children under five, especially wasted in Indonesia, 2018 reached 13.8%. Meanwhile, public health problems are considered serious if the prevalence of waste ranges from 10.0%- 14.0% and is considered critical if 15.0%. Thus, the problem of waste is still a serious public health problem in Indonesia. The prevalence of waste in Jambi Province reached 17.0% and diarrhea in children under five was 7.7%. This study aims to determine the relationship between a history of diarrhea and the incidence of waste in Toddlers aged 24-59 months in Siulak Mukai District, Kerinci Regency. This study is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. This research was conducted in Siulak Mukai Subdistrict, Kerinci Regency on 24-28 February 2022. The population and sample in this study were data on all children under five in the research of Kasyani et al (2020) with a total of 210 respondents. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Based on this study, most of the toddlers aged 24-59 months in Siulak Mukai District, Kerinci Regency did not experience wasted events (94.3%) and did not have a history of diarrhea (82.9%). There was no relationship between a history of diarrhea and the incidence of waste in Toddlers aged 24-59 months in Siulak Mukai District, Kerinci Regency (p = 0.255). It is expected that mothers and fathers of toddlers can participate and play an active role in information dissemination activities carried out by health workers in Siulak Mukai District, Kerinci Regency about diarrhea and wasting.

Abstract

Anemia in pegnant mother is the condition of the mother with hemoglobin levels below 12 mg/dl, anemia is one of the risks of maternal death, the incidence of babies with low birth weight (LBW), Iron deficiency can cause interference or inhibition of fetal grawth both body cells and brain cells. This study animed to determine the description of subtansce intake, nutritional knowledge and education level of mother toward pregnant mother anemia at working area the public health center Rantau Badak Tanjung Jabung Barat regerency. This study used descriptive design, it was conducted at the public health center Rantau Badak Tanjung Jabung Barat regerency in March 2022. Populasion were all of pregnant mothers as many as 20 people. The collecting of data used questionnaire.

Abstract

Anemia is a decrease in the amount of erythrocyte mass, which is indicated by a decrease in hemoglobin, hematocrit, and erythrocyte count. One of the health problems that often occurs in adolescents, especially adolescent girls, is anemia. The prevalence of anemia in Indonesia at the age of 15-24 years is 32.0%. The incidence of anemia from the data of the puskesmas SMAN 8 Jambi City was 37 adolescent girls. Some factors that can cause anemia are nutritional status, consumption patterns, physical activity and compliance with blood supplement tablets consumption. Therefore, overcoming and preventing anemia in adolescent girls is a health problem that is focused on by the government. The purpose of the study was to determine the description of nutritional status and preventive efforts of anemia in adolescent girls at SMAN 8 Jambi City. This type of research is quantitative research, using a descriptive design. The research time was conducted from March to July 2024 which was located at SMAN 8 Jambi City. The sample in this study were adolescent girls affected by anemia at SMAN 8 Jambi City, totaling 37 adolescent girls in grades X and XI. Data collection techniques using total sampling techniques. Data collection techniques by filling out questionnaires, measuring height and weight. Data analysis in the study using univariate data analysis. The results of this study indicate that normal nutritional status (43.2%), efforts to prevent anemia are sufficient (45.9%), adherence to the consumption of blood supplement tablets that are not obedient (91.9%). In this study it can be concluded that for adolescent girls can make efforts to prevent anemia early on by changing a good diet, taking blood tablets to reduce the incidence of anemia in adolescent girls.

Abstract

 Anemia is a condition in which the level of haemoglobin (Hb) in the body is below normal. A person is said to be anaemic if the result of the Hb <12g/dl. This is experienced by adolescents, one of which is caused by unhealthy eating habits, so knowledge is needed to change adolescent behaviour so as not to experience anaemia. to find out the description of the level of knowledge about anaemia and breakfast habits in adolescent girls SMP N 9 Jambi City. this research is a quantitative study with a descriptive design, data collection is done by interviewing and distributing questionnaires. The data analysis used in the study was univariate analysis, which then the results would show the frequency distribution and the variables studied (knowledge of anaemia and breakfast habits). The number of samples in the study was 52 female students. The sampling technique was proportional random sampling. The results of this study obtained that as many as 53.8% of the respondents had insufficient knowledge about anaemia and breakfast habits obtained as many as 75% of the respondents who rarely do breakfast. In this study, it can be concluded that the knowledge about anaemia in SMP N 9 Jambi City is still lacking about anaemia and the importance of breakfast, especially for learning activities and concentration. It is recommended to the school to provide more education about anaemia and the importance of breakfast.

Abstract

Disasters always come suddenly, becoming a natural phenomenon that humans face. One of the natural disasters is a lava flood, which is a collection of lava released by a volcano and reaches the lower surface with the help or encouragement of rainwater. The impact of lava floods has a high risk because the material it carries can cause damage and has the potential to cause death, injury, illness, life at risk, loss of security, displacement, damage or loss of property, and disruption of community activities, so an early warning system is needed. can provide accurate data about the time of the disaster. To overcome digital sophistication, tools have been created in the form of sensors and transducers for lava flood detection. The aim of this research is to examine sensors and transducers for lahar flood detection. This research uses a systematic literature review using Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews (PRISMA). The results of article screening and selection found 77 potential articles that met the inclusion criteria. The results of the research show that the development of sensors and transducers has begun to create a lot of lahar flood detection tools through artificial intelligence based on the internet of thought which uses sensors and transducers inside and optimization of sensors and transducers for lahar flood detection must be done by setting the point of detection tools for use in various flood-prone locations. lava, so that detection of lava floods can be known before a disaster occurs.

Abstract

This study investigates the integration of multicultural values into project-based learning within the Batik and Textile Creative Craft program at Vocational High School 1 Jabon Sidoarjo, in response to the growing need for character education in ethnically diverse vocational settings. While technical competence remains a central focus of vocational education, the absence of systematic efforts to instill cultural values has limited students’ development in areas such as tolerance, inclusion, and social awareness. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis involving school leaders, teachers, students, and community figures. Data analysis employed source triangulation and followed a process of data reduction, presentation, and verification to ensure validity. The findings demonstrate that project-based learning effectively serves as a pedagogical medium for embedding multicultural values, particularly through collaborative activities rooted in the culturally significant practices of batik and textile craftsmanship. Students developed heightened awareness of diversity and demonstrated improved inclusive and cooperative behaviors. The integration of multicultural principles was facilitated by the alignment between the curriculum and the local cultural context, which supported the internalization of values in an experiential and meaningful manner. This study concludes that the synergy between technical training and multicultural education through project-based learning can contribute significantly to the development of inclusive vocational education. The findings offer practical insights for other vocational institutions seeking to advance character education through culturally responsive pedagogies.

Abstract

Pengembangan teknologi menjadi salah satu kunci dalam penanggulangan limbah sampah saat ini, terutama pada limbah kertas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang mesin pemotong kertas bertenaga motor listrik dengan pisau lurus jenis pisau guillotine untuk menghasilkan potongan yang presisi. Metode penelitian ini melibatkan desain mesin dan pengujian performa mesin. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa mesin dapat memotong hingga 20 kg per jam, lebih efisien jika dibandingkan dengan metode manual. Mesin menghasilkan potongan yang presisi sesuai dengan standar yang diharapkan. Efisiensi waktu mesin pemotong kertas memiliki keunggulan dibandingkan dengan pemotongan manual. Mesin ini mampu menghasilkan 76 kg dalam waktu 3 jam. Sedangkan untuk mencapai jumlah yang sama, pemotongan manual membutuhkan 3 orang pekerja.  Pembuatan mesin ini berpotensi mendukung pengelolahan limbah kertas lokal bagi UMKM, khususnya di wilayah Krian, Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengemukakan pengetahuan dukun mengenai tumbuhan papaya yang mempunyai khasiat sebagai obat tradisional dan jenis penyakit yang bisa diobati dengan penggunaan tumbuhan papaya. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada januari 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Kognitif oleh Goodenough dan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode Etnografi dengan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tehnik pengamatan (observation) dan wawancara mendalam (indepth interview). Data yang didapatkan dilapangan kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif, analisis data kemudian dilakukan untuk menyederhanakan data yang didapatkan dalam bentuk yang lebih m,udah dibaca dan diinterprestasikan menjadi sebuah hasil. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pengetahuan dukun akan pengobatan tradisionl didapat secara turun temurun dari generasi kegenerasi, pengobatan yang dilakukan berdasarkan berdasarkan atas pengalaman, keyakinan dan proses belajar sehingga mampu untuk mempraktekan kepasien yang mengalami sakit akibat gangguan roh halus, [enggunaan media seperti air putih, tumbuhan dan doa, adalah cara yang digunakan dukun dalam mengobati. Penegtahuan yang dimiliki dukun tentang tumbuhan papaya terletak pada bagian-bagiannya, yang bermanfaat sebagai obat tradisional yang dapat digunakan untuk mengobati berbagai macam penyakit. Bagian dari tumbuhaan papaya memiliki manfaat sebagai obat, karena tumbuhan ini terkenal sebagai sumber yang memiliki khasiat mengobati lebih dari satu penyakit. Penyakit seperti malaria, tekanan darah tinggi, gatal, bisul, cacingan, kulit pecah dan luka bakar dapat diobati dengan cara yang b enar pada masyarakat Kelurahan Mata Kecamatan Kendari Kota Kendari.

Abstract

The application of ethanol as an alternative fuel needs to be continuously studied to face the energy crisis and environmental crisis. This study aims to determine the comparison of injection timing using pertamax and ethanol variations on torque, power, and efficiency in a 110cc automatic motorbike. Testing was carried out experimentally with variations in the percentage of pertamax ethanol mixture of: 15:85, 30:70, 45:55, 60:40, 70:30, and 80:20. Injection timing was modified using ECM software. Torque and power testing used a dynotest tool. The test results showed that power increased by 1.01 kW in the E45 mixture compared to standard timing, with SFC reaching 0.125 kg/kWh.

Abstract

Pelatihan penggunaan digital payment (QRIS) bagi UMKM tradisional di Kelurahan Siantan Tengah, Kecamatan Pontianak Utara bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesiapan pelaku usaha dalam mengadopsi sistem pembayaran non-tunai. Kegiatan ini melibatkan berbagai sektor usaha, seperti kuliner, kerajinan tangan, dan jasa. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan QRIS memberikan manfaat signifikan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi transaksi, mengurangi risiko kehilangan uang tunai, serta mempermudah pencatatan keuangan. Namun, masih terdapat tantangan dalam penerapannya, seperti keterbatasan literasi digital dan kekhawatiran terhadap keamanan transaksi. Melalui pendampingan yang intensif, sebagian besar peserta berhasil memahami dan mulai menerapkan QRIS dalam usaha mereka. Selain itu, pelatihan ini juga mendorong UMKM untuk lebih aktif dalam pemasaran digital guna memperluas jangkauan pasar. Dengan meningkatnya adopsi QRIS, diharapkan transaksi non-tunai semakin berkembang dan memberikan manfaat bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal.
