Abstract

Community Partnership Program Partners (PKM) are a group of mobile fish sellers selling fresh fish around Pangkep Regency, South Sulawesi. The problems faced are: (1) aspects of fish quality, (2) marketing, and (3) lack of knowledge on how to maintain the quality of fish trade and what types of fish are needed by customers. The solutions offered by the service proposing team are (1) introducing cold box technology for their merchandise, (2) introducing information technology to improve marketing, and (3) conducting technology transfers and training regarding cooler box technology and information technology to support marketing trading fish. The implementation method used in this community service activity uses a participatory approach involving all members of the partner group. The approach taken is in the form of observation, lecture, question and answer, discussion, and training practice with group partners to provide solutions to problems. The results achieved by this activity are that the mobile fish seller partners get provision of understanding and skills that can be used independently in order to improve their welfare, even though this service activity has been completed.

Abstract

The Village Information System is an innovative solution to optimize village data management and speed up access to information for the community. The development of Information Technology has become an urgent need in order to improve the efficiency and quality of services at the village level. This research aims to implement a Village Information System to improve digital-based services in the village environment. The implementation of the Village Information System is expected to increase the efficiency of data management and speed up the decision-making process at the village level. The application of digital-based technology is expected to provide easier and faster access for the community to obtain information and services from the village government. Services such as population administration, licensing and development monitoring can be accessed online, minimizing the time and costs required. Apart from that, the Village Information System also provides opportunities for active community participation in decision making through feedback features and discussion forums. This research strengthens the concept of clean and transparent government, because the Village Information System creates openness to public information. This research makes a positive contribution in exploring the potential of information technology to optimize village governance and improve the quality of life of the community as a whole. This is the reason researchers consider it important to develop and implement a Village Information System to improve digital-based community services.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan numerik dan logika terhadap nilai mata kuliah algoritma pemrograman pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Informatika dan Komputer Universitas Negeri Makassar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan analisis statistika. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 55 mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Informatika dan Komputer Angkatan 2017. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik penyebaran instrumen tes. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu regresi berganda. Hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan numerik tidak mempengaruhi nilai algoritma pemrograman, kemampuan logika juga tidak mempengaruhi nilai algoritma pemrograman, dan kemampuan numerik dan logika secara bersama-sama pun tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai mata kuliah algoritma pemrograman.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa jurusan Teknik Informatika dan Komputer terhadap pembelajaran berbasis online di tengah pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan jumlah sampel 305 mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Informatika dan Komputer angkatan 2017-2020 Fakultas Teknik UNM. Data penelitian diperoleh dari kuisioner dan dokumentasi adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 305 sampel penelitian, terdapat 207 mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Informatika dan Komputer Fakultas Teknik Angkatan 2017-2020 Universitas Negeri Makassar yang merasa puas terhadap pembelajaran daring yang dilakukan selama pandemic Covid-19 dengan persentase 68.87%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan atau research and development (R&D) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan sistem, hasil pelaporan kinerja, dan hasil pengujian kualitas sistem menggunakan ISO 9126. Proses pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode Scrum Agile Deveploment yang terdiri dari empat langkah aktifitas kerja yaitu product backlog, sprint backlog, aktifitas sprint dan increment. Sistem yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh empat orang ahli yaitu dua orang ahli sistem dan dua orang ahli konten atau materi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa wawancara, observasi, angket atau kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Pengolahan data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil pengembangan dari sistem memberikan kemudahan bagi pihak sekolah dalam melakukan serangkaian aktifitas pengolahan data berupa proses penilaian kinerja, pembuatan pelaporan, pengecekan dokumen, dan menghasilkan penyajian informasi pelaporan yang dapat diakses dengan cepat. Kemudian hasil pelaporan periode tahun 2020/2021 untuk kinerja guru diperoleh penilaian dengan konversi yang menunjukkan pada kategori “Amat Baik”. Sedangkan untuk hasil penilaian administrasi guru dalam setahun ajaran pada semester ganjil diperoleh persentase jumlah guru 78% dengan pencapaian kategori “Sangat Baik” dan 22% dengan pencapaian kategori “Baik”. Pada semester genap diperoleh persentase jumlah guru 65% dengan pencapaian kategori “Sangat Baik” dan 35% dengan pencapaian kategori “Baik”. Hasil pengujian kualitas perangkat lunak membuktikan bahwa sistem informasi pelaporan kinerja guru pada keterlaksanaan pembelajaran telah memenuhi standar pengujian ISO 9126 dengan hasil pengujian kelayakan untuk karakteristik functionality dengan kategori pencapaian “Layak”. Pengujian kepuasan untuk karakteristik usability dengan kategori pencapaian “Sangat Baik”. Pengujian kualitas untuk karakteristik reliability dengan kategori pencapaian telah memenuhi standar pengujian Telcordia. Pengujian kualitas untuk karakteristik efficiency dengan kategori pencapaian “Sangat Baik”. Pengujian kualitas untuk karakteristik maintainability dengan kategori pencapaian telah memenuhi tiga standar pengujian Land. Pengujian kualitas untuk karakteristik portability dengan kategori pencapaian “Sangat Baik”.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an IoT-based prototype system for monitoring soil moisture and controlling irrigation in chili plants using the Blynk platform. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach with a prototypedevelopment model. The system integrates a capacitive soil moisture sensor (Soil Moisture Sensor Capacitive V1.2) to measure soil moisture levels and automate irrigation decisions. The system's effectiveness was evaluated through 56 trials, achieving a 98.15% success rate, indicating high reliability in providing real-time soil moisture data. The usability assessment showed that all respondents rated the system positively, with functionality reaching 100% feasibility and usability rated at 86.3%, categorized as very good. However, further analysis is needed to validate the questionnaire used in usability testing and assess whether training is required for farmers to operate the system efficiently. In terms of reliability, the system recorded a 5% sensor accuracy deviation, highlighting the need for additional calibration and comparative testing with alternative sensors. Overall, this system has the potential to enhance agricultural productivity and optimize water usage, reducing dependence on manual irrigation. Future research should focus on improving system connectivity, refining sensor accuracy, and expanding the system's application to various crops and environmental conditions to promote sustainable and technology-driven farming practices.

Abstract

Today's technological developments are very sophisticated. It can be seen with various innovations in this era, from simple innovations to innovations that are trending in the world. Parking is a condition where the driver places his vehicle in a parking lot. The parking system using the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system has become a technology applied to parking systems, by facilitating and providing security to customers when parking, even though they have used an RFID card, the drawbacks of the system are that anyone who has an RFID card can issue the owner's vehicle another by using the same RFID card. The solution to the lack of an RFID-based parking system is by using the High Sensitive R503 Fingerprint Sensor which will make security much better than using an RFID card, by applying the Sequential Search Algorithm to detect customers in fingerprint registration applications and using the Fingerprint R503 sensor with data verification speed. average 0.78 Second to open the parking portal.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Adaptive Algorithm to Improve the Image Quality of Vehicle Number Plates Based on Lighting Parameters. The type of research used by the Author is Research and Development. This research was conducted at the Computer Engineering Laboratory for six months. This research consists of several stages, from the potential and problem stages, needs analysis, literacy studies, building prototypes, system design, and system testing. The collected datasets were taken using smartphone cameras and webcams, with 207 image datasets divided into two categories: training data and validation. The training dataset of 207 objects was 100% successful. System testing was carried out in two conditions, namely during the day and at night, for each two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicle object. The results of adaptive algorithm testing to improve the quality of vehicle license plate images based on the light parameter experienced a change in the average MSE and PSNR values between the original image and the quality-improved image, although not too much of a difference. Based on this, it can be interpreted that the adaptive algorithm can produce better photos than before.

Abstract

This study aims to produce and find out the results of the Smart System Stabilization Water Discharge Output Test on Android-Based Faucets based on the results of water flow sensor readings whose data is used as a reference for the rotation of the Adj or Adjustable Water Pressure Reducing Regulator Valve. The tests were carried out in the form of measuring water flow without and with Adj and measuring water discharge without and with Adj. Based on the research results, the water flow without Adj is 7 L/min for tap 1.9 L/min for tap 2. The water flow with Adj for both taps is 8 L/min. The flow of water from both taps is more stable with Adj than without Adj because the flow of both taps is 8 L/min. The measurement results of the water discharge without Adj are 0.1216 L/s for tap 1 and 0.1470 L/s for tap 2; the difference in water discharge is 0.0254 L/s. Water debit with Adj 0.135 L/s tap 1 and 0.14125 L/s tap 2, the difference in water discharge is 0.00625 L/s. The water debit is more stable with Adj than without Adj because the difference in water discharge is smaller.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi internet dan website berkembang begitu cepat serta menjadi salah satu hal yang penting bagi kehidupan sehari-hari saat ini, website adalah media publikasi elektronik yang memiliki beragam keunggulan. Berdasarkan keunggulan tersebut pemanfaatan website dalam bidang penyewaan ataupun mencari informasi akan memberikan banyak manfaat yang sangat penting bagi pengunjung mencari informasi tentang homestay dibulukumba. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem informasi homestay berbasis web di kabupaten Bulukumba dan menguji kualitas dan kelayakan sistem berdasarkan standar kualitas ISO/IEC2501. Penelitian ini adalah Research and development (R&D) yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi homestay berbasis web di kabupaten Bulukumba, melakukan pengujian tingkat kelayakan sistem informasi homestay Berbasis web di kabupaten Bulukumba, dan mengetahui hasil uji pengembangan sistem informasi homestay berbasis web di kabupaten Bulukumba. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan prototype dengan tahapan: Pengumpulan kebutuhan, membangun prototype, evaluasi prototype, mengkodekan sistem, menguji sistem, evaluasi sistem, dan penggunaan sistem. Pengujian standar kualitas ISO/IEC 25010 dengan 4 pengujian yaitu Functional suitability, Reability, Portability, dan Usability. Adapun hasil pengujian pada functional suitability yang diuji oleh ahli sistem dengan mengisi kuesioner yang berisi 44 pertanyaan yang terkait dalam sistem yang dikembangakan. Dari pengujian ini diperoleh hasil sangat baik; pada pengujian reability dengan memperoleh persentase kesuksesan 100% yang menggunakan click test, time test dan ramp test; pada pengujian portability bernilai 1 yang berarti sistem ini berjalan dengan baik diberbagai perangkat; pada pengujian usability yang di uji dengan jumlah 12 pertanyaan dengan 30 respoden memperoleh nilai dikategori sangat baik
