Abstract

Cardiopulmonary bypass in tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) corrective surgery induces hyperinflammation by activating NLRP3, caspase-1, and interleukin-1β (IL-1β), subsequently triggering an interleukin-10 (IL-10) response. Despite its known metabolic and anti-inflammatory effects, the impact of the modified Atkins diet (MAD) in pediatric cardiac surgery remains unexplored, with no studies on its use in TOF patients undergoing open-heart surgery. The aim of this study was to assess the effect of MAD on the expression of NLRP3, caspase-1, IL-1β, and IL-10, in TOF patients undergoing open-heart surgery. A double-arm, randomized-controlled trial was conducted with 44 TOF patients. The treatment group (n=22) received the MAD, a low-carbohydrate, high-fat regimen with unrestricted fat and protein intake for at least 14 days preoperatively, while the control group (n=22) followed a standard diet without carbohydrate restriction. Blood plasma and infundibulum heart tissues were collected for analysis. Whole blood samples were collected using a winged infusion needle before the intervention, an Abbocath infusion needle after 14 days of intervention, and a syringe without a needle connected to an arterial line in patients undergoing open-heart surgery at 6, 24, and 48 hours post-surgical correction. Infundibulum heart tissues were collected during the open-heart surgery. This study demonstrated significant differences in NLRP3 protein expression (p=0.015), caspase-1 protein expression (p=0.001), and IL-10 levels between before intervention and 6-, 24-, and 48-hours post-surgery in the MAD group compared to the control group. In contrast, no significant differences in IL-10 levels were observed in the control group between before intervention and 48 hours post-surgery (p=0.654). In conclusion, MAD may modulate perioperative inflammation in TOF patients undergoing open-heart surgery by downregulating NLRP3 and caspase-1 expression while sustaining IL-10 levels. Despite reduced NLRP3 and caspase-1 expression, unchanged IL-1β levels indicate alternative regulatory mechanisms.

Abstract

The problems   faced  by crisply  industry  "Sarinah"   was  the  problem of dryer of kerecek (raw  crisply)  which  need wide of place and very depend on  weather.   The   operation    could   be  adapted   by  requirement    of   good production   on  noon   or  night.   Target   activity   of  this  program   was  give additional   aid  of  equipment   of  production   matching   with  requirement    of small  industry   so  that   production   mount   and  have  technology    mainstay production,  efficient  and cheap  of operating  expenses.To  overcome    problems    of  production   draining   of  crisply,   gone through the following  stages:   (1) making  scheme  of crisply  dryer  according to  requirement   of  small  industry;   (2)  making  crisply  dryer  with  adequate capacities  (15.000-20.000)    in a short  times  (7 -  8 hours),  and  (3)  partner industry can exploit  dryer technology  in an optimal  flashing.Execution  of activity  orients  on efficacy  of making  of dryer  able  tobe exploited  properly.  The result  of make-up  of small industrial  productivity after wearing  this appliance  is marked  with attainment  of larger  ones  om set. Total the omset  before  this  program  is 8000 crisply  sold (equivalent   of Rp800.000,00/day).   After  adjustment   of technology  of dryer,  tired  mean  omset13.000 until  15.000 crisply.  On bad weather,  industrial  this crisply  produces crisply  till  20.000   because   getting   the  order  5000  of  crisply   from  other industries.   This  means   program   of  this  voucher   can  increase   product   on small industry.Key words: dryer, crisply, small industrial

Abstract

The purpose of this PPM Featured is (1) determining the shape ofelectroplating tools that fit with the needs of Vocational High School Diponegorowith low operating costs; (2) students and teachers can operate theelectroplating tool and metal plating with the correct procedures; (3) determiningthe response of the students and teacher after practicing the metalplating and the Vocational High School Diponegoro has its own electroplatingtool.The method used in the PPM Featured electroplating are planningthe tool with the size as needed in Vocational High School Diponegoro,easily portable, safe, minimal pollution, and easy to use. To prevent failurein the PPM implementation, then all sizes and components used in the electroplatingtool together with the size and components used in the electroplatingtool based on research results. Testing and training the students andteachers about the tool and operation of the metal plating appliance.The implementation of PPM Featured produce something as follows:(1) the construction shape of electroplating tool were rectangular a longframe size of 1000 mm , 400 mm width and 750 mm height. Electroplatingbath size were 560 mm length, 300 mm width and 400 mm height. Nickelsolution volume was 55 liters. The framework equipped with troll in orderto be easily moved and also equipped with table, (2) 73 students had themean value > 78 and 1 teacher can operate and utilize the electroplatingtools for metal plating (iron/steel), (3) the responses of the students andteacher after practice with electroplating tools were expressed great satisfaction.Keywords: electroplating tools, plating, operation, and students

Abstract

Produsen air minum dalam kemasan (AMDK) mengalami masalah kualitas yaitu dengan terdapatnya produk-produk cacat pada setiap produksi yang belum mencapai zero defect, terutama pada lini produksi kemasan gelas ukuran 240 ml yang paling banyak mengalami kecacatan produk. Six Sigma dapat didefinisikan sebagai suatu metodologi yang menyediakan alat-alat untuk peningkatan proses bisnis dengan tujuan menurunkan variasi proses dan meningkatkan kualitas produk dengan menggunakan pendekatan DMAIC (define, measure, analyze, improve dan control). Dari hasil pengukuran data yang diperoleh bahwa untuk critical to quality (CTQ) kunci berdasarkan diagram pareto, bahwa 80 % kecacatan tertinggi ada pada jenis cacat lid dimana cacat lid ini sendiri terdiri dari bocor lid, pecah lid dan lid miring. Untuk tingkat sigma adalah 4,96 sigma, yang artinya belum mencapai tingkat tingkat six sigma dikarenakan masih tingginya produk cacat. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan mengalisa penyebab cacat lid dengan menggunakan diagram sebab akibat dan failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA). Dari analisis diagram sebab akibat bahwa faktor penyebab kecacatan berasal dari faktor mesin, material dan manusia. Setelah itu dengan FMEA dapat diketahui bahwa penyebab kegagalan tertinggi adalah seal disc kotor pada saat proses produksi berjalan. Untuk upaya perbaikan dari permasalahan tersebut maka diperlukan pemeriksaan kondisi sealing unit sebelum melakukan proses produksi dan mengamplas sealing unit setiap seminggu sekali pada permukaan yang sudah tidak rata. Abstract

Complex problems often encountered in the company, especially the production. The company should beable to increase production capability by increasing the utility of existing resources and accuracy in thecompletion of production to match the deadlines set by scheduling planned well. As a company producesCPO and kernel continuously so the scheduling screw press machine should be well planned so thatproduction can be completed on time, damage to the engine and overtime can be avoided. This study aimsto analyze the utilization schedule and screw press machine at the station felt that optimal production canbe achieved and determine the cause of the delay production time resulting in overtime. The method usedis the method of indicators that can be applied to the machine which is parallel with different capacities.This method minimizes the turnaround time by prioritizing machine with a large capacity whilemaintaining the efficiency of the engine and the completion time has been determined. Proposedscheduling using indicators generate optimal schedule, 13840 hours of work available only used 12373.5hours with five machine screw press, the clock difference is 1408.5 hours of work hours are unemployedand 58 hours of treatment machine screw press, and produce five utilities screw press machine onaverage up to 89.40% and utilities average every month five screw press machine is 89.46%. The delaytime of CPO production process and the kernel has been caused by damage to machine screw presswhich occur during the production process takes place so that if the production capacity is reduced andovertime hours cannot be avoided. Screw press machine maintenance can be done by the enginemaintenance schedule time without having to wait for the machine was broken beforehand and this canreduce the cost of production.Keywords : Indicator Method, Scheduling Engine

Abstract

PT. Fajar Utama Furnishing Bekasi adalah perusahaan yang memproduksi berbagai macam produk manufaktur seperti kursi, lemari, meja, sofa, dan lain sebagainya. Dalam menjalankan proses produksinya perincian bahan baku belum menggunakan suatu metode tertentu sehingga sering terjadi kelebihan dan kekurangan bahan, serta perencanaan produksi tidak berjalan lancar, sehingga menimbulkan biaya yang besar. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah agar produksi dapat optimal dan berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan.Tujuan yang diharapkan dalam penelitian ini membuat perencanaan kebutuhan bahan sehingga produksi dapat berjalan dengan lancar dan mengefektifkan penggunaan sumber daya. Pembahasan dan analisa dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus peramalan Exponential Smoothing untuk menentukan tingkat permintaan kursi sofa lois bundar (CH-547) pada periode Mei 2011- April 2012. Hasil peramalan ini digunakan untuk menentukan kebutuhan kotor dari produksi kursi sofa. Kemudian dilakukan perhitungan menggunakan metode MRP dengan sistem Lot For Lot, sehingga diperoleh perencanaan bahan baku.Berdasarkan perhitungan selama satu tahun jumlah total produksi sebesar 14958 unit, dimana biaya yang dikeluarkan menggunakan perhitungan MRP adalah Rp 6.545.072.150,- sedangkan biaya yang dikeluarkan menggunakan perhitungan perusahaan sebesar Rp 6.593.189.258,-, ini berarti terjadi penurunan biaya sebesar Rp48.117.108,-. Dengan adanya perencanaan kebutuhan bahan (Material Requirement Planning) maka persoalan biaya pengadaan bahan dan proses produksi akan dapat diatasi dan dapat berjalan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan.

Abstract

Bandar Lampung merupakan kota besar di Indonesia yang akan berkembang menjadi kota metropolitan. Perkembangan kota dapat dipercepat dengan pembangunan infrastruktur pelayanan publik. Pengembangan transportasi umum seperti Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) di Kota Bandar Lampung diharapkan dapat meningkatkan ketertarikan masyarakat untuk menggunakan transportasi umum sehingga dapat menekan penggunaan kendaraan pribadi untuk mengurangi tingkat kemacetan dan kecelakaan lalu lintas. Pengoperasian BRT memerlukan adanya fasilitas penunjang, seperti halte. Pembangunan halte yang kurang baik mengakibatkan bertambahnya permasalahan transportasi. Masyarakat sebagai target pengguna menjadi enggan untuk menggunakan BRT karena  kesulitan saat akan memanfaatkan fasilitas tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan jumlah dan lokasi halte BRT di sepanjang rute Rajabasa-Sukaraja di Kota Bandar Lampung sehingga dapat memberikan akses yang layak ke halte terdekat kepada semua penumpang dengan jumlah halte yang minimum, tetapi dapat memenuhi semua titik permintaan di sepanjang rute (coverage area). Penentuan lokasi dan jumlah halte di sepanjang rute I BRT dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi lokasi bangkitan yang mempunyai tingkat permintaan relatif tinggi dan kandidat lokasi halte yang memenuhi kriteria. Lokasi halte terpilih ditentukan dengan metode Set Covering Problem. Hasil perhitungan menyimpulkan terdapat 19 lokasi halte terpilih di sepanjang rute. Dalam penelitian ini juga dilakukan analisis penentuan lokasi halte ketika pemerintah memiliki keterbatasan anggaran pembangunan halte.

Abstract

Sarana untuk praktik pelapisan elektroplating di SMK Musaba hanya memilki 1 bak. Akibatnya pemahaman siswa tentan proses elektroplating kurang menyeluruh. Tujuan program PkM ini adalah memberdayakan SMK Musaba membuat sarana untuk elektroplating yang komprehensif. Metode Asset Based Community Development digunakan untuk menciptakan sarana praktik dengan konsep TTG. Tahapan pelaksanaan progam adalah pembuatan desain, pembuatan sarana praktik, pelatihan, dan penerapan. Program PkM telah memberdayakan SMK Musaba sehingga mampu membuat sarana untuk praktik elektroplating. Dimensi sarana untuk praktik elektroplating ini adalah (1440 x 860 x 725) mm dan mampu mengakomodasi 9 tahapan proses, yatiu hot degreasing, rinsing, pickling, rinsing, activating, nikel strike, rinsing, nikel shiny, dan rinsing. Sarana ini dilengkapi rectifier digital, temperature controller dan heater, aerator, anoda nikel dalam wadah titanium, dan timbangan digital. Efisiensi alat adalah 84,45 % untuk target tebal lapisan 10 µm pada kuat arus 7,5 A/dm2. Respon guru, tendik dan siswa menunjukkan bahwa sarana untuk praktik elektroplating ini dapat meningkatkan kompetensi dan motivasi dalam mempelajari proses pelapisan dengan metode elektroplating.

Abstract

Debt policy is a decision taken by an entity or organization in terms of how debt management will be carried out. This study discusses the effect of company size, liquidity, and profitability on debt policy in coal subsector mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research is all coal subsector mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2020-2022. The population was 27 companies using purposive sampling technique. Based on the purposive sampling technique, a sample size of 23 companies was obtained. The type of data used is secondary data. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis with hypothesis testing, namely the t test and f test. The results showed that: (1) Company size has a positive and significant effect on debt policy of 5,029. (2) Liquidity has a negative and significant effect on debt policy of -8,514. (3) Profitability has a negative and significant effect on debt policy of -5,138. Keywords: Company Size, Liquidity, Profitability, and Debt Policy

Abstract

The Tunjung Baru Building Store is a private company engaged in the field of trading companies selling building raw materials. This building shop relies on a lot of inventory in its sales cycle, which is one of the important assets for the company. The role of internal control over inventory in a building store is very important to improve inventory safety. The data analysis technique uses audit techniques for merchandise inventory, namely checking the internal control of merchandise inventory using Internal Control Questionnaires, drawing conclusions, examining purchase and sale transactions, and checking inventory physical counts (stock taking). The sample in this study was 131 transactions, consisting of 40 types of goods in merchandise purchase transactions and 91 types of goods in merchandise inventory sales transactions. Calculation of the level of effectiveness using the slovin formula. The results of the compliance test on the level of effectiveness of merchandise inventory at the Tunjung Baru Building Store in the February 2023 period were 59%, which means that internal control is running quite effectively. Management of merchandise inventory carried out by employees is also in accordance with applicable procedures. The results of the substantive test are in accordance with the physical records in the warehouse and accounting records related to the purchase and sale of merchandise. The calculation has been carried out mathematically and has been affixed with a paid off stamp and the signature of the relevant party and authorization has been carried out from the store management.
