Abstract

The retail industry is a field that has a high contribution to the Indonesian economy. This research will examine the compensation based on the need for a decent living for retail workers. The purpose of this study is to (1) Analyze and evaluate the fulfillment of compensation (2) Creating a design and compensation strategy based on the requirements of decent living in Bogor. The type of data in this study is primary data (interview and questionnaires) and secondary data obtained from the website of Bogor, BPS, literature study, and relevant report. The method used is the descriptive analysis, control chart, and Grid ERRC. The results show that according to 60 components of Living Standards/KHL, only 53 items have been fulfilled and the rest (7 items are expected to be reviewed/Omited) and equal to Rp 2.753.000 which are below to Minimum Wage in Bogor. There is a priority in financial compensation and non-financial compensation, which are health benefits, holiday benefits, work accidents, and work incentives and non-financial compensation consists of career systems, work facilities, responsibilities, work status, working conditions. According to the control chart only 38% of the total respondents whose number of the COLA can be fulfilled above the average retail sector worker.

Abstract

The term Work from home (WFH) has become increasingly popular after the Covid-19 spread occurred in various parts of the world, including in Indonesia. The implementation of work from home simultaneously in various companies is something new in Indonesia. Therefore it is necessary to investigate the factors of work from home implementation to determine the effectiveness of outcome-based telework. This research uses the descriptive analysis method and Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The type of data used in this research is quantitative by using primary data in the form of direct interviews and filling out questionnaires to the employees or professional workers in Indonesia who work by telework/ work from the home program during the pandemic of Covid 19 situations. Secondary data gathered from literature studies and previous research. The results of this study indicate that five variables have a significant influence, namely the possibility to work from home because of the type of work, possession to work during the most productive time, suitability of a working place at home, time efficiency, and team member support. The suitability variable of a working place at home has the most significant influence compared to other variables.

Abstract

Persentase angkatan kerja boomers, generasi X, dan Y didominasi oleh generasi Y sebesar 51% (BPS, 2017) dari total angkatan kerja di Indonesia tahun 2015-2017, begitu juga dengan PT BNI (Persero) Tbk KCU Bogor yaitu sebesar 70% karyawan generasi Y. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Mengidentifikasi persepsi karyawan tentang program flexible benefit. (2) Mengidentifikasi employee engagement. (3) Menganalisis strategi meningkatkan employee engagement melalui program flexible benefit. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa strategi meningkatkan employee engagement melalui program flexible benefit sebagai instrumen tambahan dalam mempertahankan karyawan terbaik layak untuk dilanjutkan dengan aspek dedication sebagai faktor terpenting dan alternatif strategi terpenting adalah fokus pada pengembangan karyawan, melalui empat program prioritas lainnya, yaitu BNI Learning Wallet (BLW), BINNOVA, BNI Expert Locator, dan Shared Office.

Abstract

PT MSIG has the goal of becoming a No. 1general insurance company in the region interms of acquisition of premium income andquality of service. The purpose of this studyare: (1) Designing organizational alignmentprocess in the field of educational CSRprogram at PT MSIG. (2) Designing strategymaps based on BSC approach. (3) Measuringperformance achievement and initiativesstrategic on educational CSR program at PTMSIG in 2015. This study used nonprobabilitysampling method with purposive techniqueand probability sampling method with censustechnique. Research methods and dataanalysis based from balanced scorecard withthe assistance Microsoftexcel 2007. Theresults of this studies indicated thatperformance of the CSR program at PT MSIGhas been good with 89.81% value expressedin green. This performance can be maintainedand improved by implementing a program ofinitiatives strategic, especially on the KeyPerformance Indicators that have not yetreached the very good category.

Abstract

Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN yang dimulaitahun 2016 membuat persaingan industrisemakin meningkat, tak terkecuali industriasuransi kerugian. Underwriting sebagaitonggak dari bisnis asuransi merupakan kuncidari daya saing perusahaan. Maka dari itu PTAsuransi MSIG Indonesia memerlukanstrategi rekrutmen dan seleksi yang idealuntuk merekrut karyawan bagianunderwriting. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialahuntuk (1) Mengidentifikasi pelaksanaanrekrutmen dan seleksi di PT Asuransi MSIGIndonesia, (2) Mengidentifikasi faktor, aktor,tujuan, dan alternatif skenario yangmempengaruhi penentuan strategi rekrutmendan seleksi bagi Underwriting Staff, (3)Menentukan strategi rekrutmen dan seleksikaryawan yang ideal untuk UnderwritingStaff di PT Asuransi MSIG Indonesia. Datayang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalahprimer dan sekunder. Metode yang digunakanadalah Proses Hierarki Analitik (PHA)dengan non probability purposive samplingkepada pakar. Hasil pengolahan menunjukkanstrategi terbaik yang digunakan adalah denganbidding atau promosi untuk mengisi posisiunderwriting.

Abstract

Abstrak Departemen Manajemen IPB sebagai salah satu pelaksana akademik dengan tiga program studi yaitu Program Sarjana, Program Sarjana Alih Jenis Manajemen serta Program Pascasarjana Mayor Ilmu Manajemen. Departemen Manajemen FEM IPB didirikan dengan tujuan mendukung harapan yang direncanakan oleh IPB salah satunya meningkatkan pencapaian di bidang kemahasiswaan yang masih dinilai rendah oleh Kemenristekdikti. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan evaluasi dan strategi untuk peningkatan daya saing program kemahasiswaan yang mengaitkan Berdasarkan permasalahan ini maka perlu dilakukan pengukuran kinerja menggunakan metode Balanced Scorecard. Tujuan penelitian adalah (1) Mengidentifikasi gambaran umum program kemahasiswaan di Departemen Manajemen FEM IPB pada tahun 2014-2017. (2) Menyusun peta strategi berdasarkan pendekatan BSC pada program kemahasiswaan di Departemen Manajemen FEM IPB. (3) Mengukur pencapaian kinerja dan inisiatif strategis yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kualitas output mahasiswa di Departemen Manajemen FEM IPB. Kata kunci : balanced scorecard, pengukuran kinerja, peta strategi. Abstract Management Department of FEM IPB is one of the academic unit consisting three programme studies: Degree Programme, Shift Degree Programme of Management, and Postgraduate Major Programme of Management Studies. Management Department was established to support the vision and mission of IPB; increase the achievements in students' field which is currently being rated poorly by Kemenristekdikti. Consequently, evaluation and strategy are complimentary for the elevation in the competitiveness among relevant student programme. Based on this issue, measuring the working performance using Balanced Scorecard is required. The aim of this research are (1)Identify the general concept of student programme in Management Department of IPB on 2014 - 2017, (2)Contrive a strategy map based on the BSC to student programs in the Management Department of FEM IPB, (3)To measure performance achievement and initiate strategy for the elevation of competitiveness among the students programme in Management Department of IPB. The results of this research prove that the performance get 63.32% and it was categorized as good performance. Performance can be improved by implementing a strategic program on indicators that are still have low value. Keywords: balanced scorecard, working performance measurement, strategy maps

Abstract

Institut Pertanian Bogor konsisten dalam mempertahankan peringkat universitasnya di tingkat internasional maupun nasional. Lulusan dengan IPK yang baik dan memiliki kompetensi tinggi sangat dibutuhkan dalam memasuki pasar kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk: 1) menganalisis hubungan masa tunggu pekerjaan dengan prestasi akademik dan relevansi pekerjaan lulusan Departemen Manajemen IPB, 2) menganalisis aspek pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang menjadi prioritas dalam kebutuhan pekerjaan sekarang dan relevansinya terhadap kompetensi lulusan Departemen Manajemen IPB. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh melalui kuesioner dan data sekunder dari data akademik Departemen Manajemen IPB. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, CHAID, IPA dan Net Promoter Score. Lulusan dengan IPK yang baik memiliki masa tunggu pekerjaan cepat dan bidang pekerjaannya memiliki kesesuaian/ relevansi dengan ilmu yang dipelajari. Hasil analisis IPA menunjukkan yang menjadi fokus utama dalam perbaikan kompetensi lulusan Departemen Manajemen IPB adalah kompetensi yang berada pada kuadran concentrate here yaitu pengembangan diri, creativity serta judgement and decision making.

Abstract

IPB is consistently becoming the Top 4 Best Universities based on the result of The Ministry of Research and Higher-Education Assessment Score for three years. Meanwhile, IPB still has the lowest assessment score on student affairs among other three universities. One of the significant components is the student achievements. This research aim (1) to identify the characteristics of the excellent students, (2) to analyze the perceptions about factors that significantly affect student achievement and student achievement itself, (3) to analyze the factors that significantly affect student achievement and student achievement itself, (4) to determine the result of Net Promoter Score of alumni to IPB. This research focused on a case of Department of Management Alumni Graduates of 2009 - 2013 FEM IPB that was conducted in Bogor Agricultural University from January to April 2018. This research used both primary and secondary data. The data analysis of this research was conducted by descriptive analysis, SEM-PLS, and Net Promoter Score. This research resulted that the environmental, physiological, psychological and instrumental factors had a t-statistic as orderly followed by 2.053, 2.031, 2.701, 0.033, whereas these factors were concluded to significantly affect the students` achievement. Abstract

Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan menyelenggarakan Pemilihan Mahasiswa Berprestasi (PILMAPRES) tingkat nasional sejak 2004. Kompetisi ini mencakup aspek penilaian komprehensif yang meliputi kemampuan akademik, kemampuan berbahasa asing, capaian unggulan, kemampuan menulis ilmiah, dan kepribadian. IPB University merupakan perguruan tinggi yang memiliki reputasi baik dalam ajang tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Direktorat Kemahasiswaan dan Pengembangan Karir IPB dengan tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik, menganalisis kompetensi alumni berdasarkan kriteria PILMAPRES dan karir pascakampus, serta menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kesuksesan karir alumni program PILMAPRES. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif berupa survei dan studi dokumen dari berbagai hasil kajian yang relevan. Partisipan penelitian merupakan 45 orang alumni Mahasiswa Berprestasi yang mewakili semua fakultas dan sekolah di IPB. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner yang diberikan melalui internet kepada responden. Data diolah dengan metode analisis deskriptif dan SEM PLS. Mayoritas alumni bekerja sebagai karyawan swasta dengan masa tunggu rata-rata empat bulan. Dari analisis SEM-PLS diketahui bahwa variabel capaian unggulan dan kepribadian berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesuksesan karier, sedangkan kemampuan akademik, kemampuan bahasa asing dan kemampuan penulisan ilmiah tidak berpengaruh signifikan. The Ministry of Education and Culture has held National Outstanding Students Selection (PILMAPRES) since 2004. This competition covers comprehensive aspects such as academic abilities, foreign language skills, non-academic achievements, scientific writing abilities, and personality. IPB University has a good reputation in this event. This research was conducted at the Directorate of Student Affairs and Career Development of IPB with the objectives to identify the characteristics of outstanding student alumni, analyse alumni competencies based on PILMAPRES criteria and career, and analyse the influence of competence on career success. The approach used is quantitative with primary data from survey and secondary data from various relevant studies. Research participants were 45 outstanding student alumni representing all faculties and schools in IPB. Data collection was carried out by means of a questionnaire given via the internet to respondents. The data were processed using descriptive analysis and SEM-PLS. The majority of alumni work as private employees with a maximum average waiting period of four months. From the SEM-PLS analysis, it is known that the variables of achievements and personality have a significant effect on career success, while academic abilities, foreign language skills, and scientific writing abilities do not have any significant effect.

Abstract

Based on   the survey of  World Economic Forum 2013-2014 lack of infrastructure improvements made Indonesia  has placed ranks 82 out of 148 countries surveyed by the World Economic Forum 2013-2014. The purpose of this activity are: (a) Formulate a comprehensive and strategic analysis of investment in infrastructure, particularly in the period 2015-2019, (b) Identify and define the priority infrastructure projects that have an impact on economic growth and regional development. Data analyze using a SWOT analysis and Exponential Comparative Method (MPE) and The House Models. The study states that there are eight (8) priority sectors developed infrastructure which is divided into five (5) years  from 2015 to 2019, there are three scenarios need for infrastructure investment that is optimistic, moderate and pessimistic that can be a contribution and input for the government to classify  infrastructure projects that have an impact on economic growth, sector and region.
