Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the team quiz method assisted by crossword media on the learning outcomes of elementary school students. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a post-test only control group design. With a total population of class IV students at the Naikoten I State Elementary School, class IV, 30 students from class A and B. Samples were taken using random sampling. Data collection techniques were obtained from written tests in the form of multiple choices. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis and inferential statistics with the help of the SPSS version 22 application. The results of the research show that processing the independent t-test data obtained a sig value of 0.000<0.05, then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected or in other words there is a significant difference between control and experimental classes in improving student learning outcomes on Norms in My Regional Customs material. Thus, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of the Team Quiz Method Assisted by Crossword Media Improves the Learning Outcomes of Class IV Students on Norms in My Regional Customs at the Naikoten I Public Elementary School, Kupang City.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of digital media use has intensified the practice of cyberbullying as a form of non-physical violence that seriously affects victims’ mental health, dignity, and human rights. In Indonesia, cyberbullying is not specifically regulated and still relies on general provisions in the Law on Electronic Information and Transactions (EIT Law), which often lead to multiple interpretations, overcriminalization, and potential restrictions on freedom of expression. This article aims to analyze the urgency of establishing a specific criminal offense for cyberbullying within the framework of human rights protection and the principle of proportionality in limiting freedom of expression in the digital sphere. This study employs a normative legal research method using statutory, conceptual, and comparative approaches to regulations in several countries. The findings indicate that the absence of specific norms on cyberbullying creates legal uncertainty and weakens victim protection while also opening opportunities for the misuse of legal provisions against legitimate expression. Therefore, it is necessary to formulate clear, proportional, and victim-oriented criminal regulations, supported by fair and transparent law enforcement mechanisms that are consistent with human rights principles in the digital era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) dengan tema Kewirausahaan dalam mengembangkan karakter mandiri siswa kelas X di SMAN 1 Tegallalang, serta mengidentifikasi hambatan dan solusi yang muncul dalam prosesnya. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, subjek penelitian ini ditentukan melalui teknik purposive sampling yang terdiri dari Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kurikulum, koordinator projek, fasilitator, dan lima orang siswa kelas X. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi P5 telah berjalan sistematis melalui tahapan pengenalan, kontekstualisasi, perencanaan, aksi nyata, hingga refleksi. Karakter mandiri dikembangkan dengan memberikan ruang otonom bagi siswa untuk merencanakan dan mengelola usaha secara langsung. Hambatan utama yang ditemukan meliputi keterbatasan sarana prasarana, belum meratanya pemahaman guru mengenai peran fasilitator, serta kurangnya dukungan orang tua. Solusi yang ditempuh sekolah adalah melalui penyelenggaraan diklat berkelanjutan bagi guru, sosialisasi masif kepada orang tua, serta penerapan asesmen kualitatif yang autentik untuk memantau perkembangan karakter siswa. Kesimpulannya, P5 tema kewirausahaan efektif meningkatkan inisiatif dan tanggung jawab siswa sebagai fondasi karakter mandiri, meskipun diperlukan penguatan sinergi antara pihak sekolah, orang tua, dan mitra UMKM untuk mengoptimalkan hasil projek.

Abstract

Abstract Implementing instructional media in the subject of Civic Education (PPKn) using the analogy of the Gong Kebyar gamelan on students’ learning outcomes. This research of innovation in instructional media, which has contributed to students’ low comprehension and interest in Civic Education. To address this issue, an educational video was developed that links the concept of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (Unity in Diversity) with elements of Balinese local culture, particularly the Gong Kebyar gamelan, which symbolizes harmony in diversity. The study employed a quasi-experimental approach using a one-group pre-test–post-test design, with the research sample consisting of seventh-grade students from SMA Negeri 1 Sawan during the 2024/2025 academic year. The data analysis revealed a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes following the implementation of the instructional media. These findings suggest that incorporating local cultural wisdom such as the Gong Kebyar gamelan into educational media can effectively enhance students’ understanding of Civic Education content and promote more active engagement in the learning process. Abstract

Abstract Character education is a central focus of the Merdeka Curriculum through the strengthening of the Pancasila Student Profile. The success of character development requires synergy between school strategies and the role of teachers, particularly Civics Education teachers. This study aims to analyse the implementation of school strategies through learning in strengthening the character of the Pancasila Student Profile among students at SMAN 1 Banjar. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects included the principal, Civics Education teachers, and students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analysed using the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that school strategies are implemented through the integration of Pancasila values into learning activities, reinforcement of school culture, co-curricular and extracurricular programs, and the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5). Civics Education teachers act as facilitators, role models, and motivators in internalizing Pancasila values through contextual and participatory learning. However, challenges remain in terms of limited understanding of the Pancasila Student Profile concept and adaptation to the Merdeka Curriculum. Overall, school strategies and the role of Civics Education teachers contribute positively to strengthening students’ character in accordance with the Pancasila Student Profile. Abstract

Education of students' social character through Social Sciences (IPS) education in the millennial era is very important to form individuals who have morality and good social attitudes. In the context of rapid social development, social studies education functions not only as a means of imparting knowledge, but also as a tool for instilling social values ​​such as tolerance, honesty and responsibility. This research aims to explore how social studies education can contribute to the formation of students' social character, as well as the challenges faced in its implementation. Through a literature study approach, this research identifies various methods and strategies used in social studies education to integrate social values. The results show that interactive and collaborative learning, as well as students' involvement in extracurricular activities, can increase their understanding of the importance of social values. Apart from that, the role of teachers as role models in implementing these values ​​also greatly influences students' attitudes. In the millennial era, where social challenges are increasingly complex, social studies education is expected to produce a young generation who is not only academically intelligent but also has strong social character. strong. Thus, social studies education is an important foundation in building a better and more responsible society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Canva yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan student engagement pada topik Daerahku Kebanggaanku di kelas V SD Negeri 1 Semarapura Kangin. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model ADDIE. Subjek meliputi ahli materi, ahli media, guru, dan siswa kelas V. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket, serta dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif, kuantitatif, dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian ini berupa media pembelajaran interaktif Canva yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Hasil validasi ahli dianalisis dengan menggunakan formula Gregory dan diperoleh hasil ahli materi sebesar 0.85 (sangat relevan) dan hasil ahli media sebesar 0.95 (sangat relevan). Perolehan hasil kepraktisan media sebesar 92,5% (sangat praktis), uji coba perorangan sebesar 92% (sangat tinggi), serta uji coba kelompok kecil sebesar 92,05% (sangat tinggi). Adapun implementasi media interaktif ini terbukti secara signifikan meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa pada dimensi perilaku, emosional, dan kognitif. Terdapat peningkatan rata-rata skor observasi keterlibatan siswa dari 81,07% pada pertemuan awal menjadi 91,09% pada pertemuan akhir. Uji efektivitas menunjukkan thitung 32,18 > ttabel 2,064 dengan N-Gain score 0,786 (kategori tinggi). Disimpulkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Canva merupakan solusi inovatif yang efektif dalam menciptakan suasana belajar kontekstual dan bermakna untuk mengoptimalkan keterlibatan aktif serta hasil belajar siswa IPS di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Pancasila Education plays a strategic role in shaping students’ character, particularly discipline and responsibility. This study aims to describe the implementation of Pancasila Education in developing discipline and responsibility character among Grade XI C students at SMA Negeri 1 Sawan. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research subjects included Pancasila Education teachers and Grade XI C students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of Pancasila Education in strengthening discipline and responsibility character was carried out through classroom learning activities, habituation of disciplined behavior, responsibility-based assignments, and teacher role modeling. Furthermore, the integration of Pancasila values into learning activities and school programs contributed to the gradual development of students’ discipline and responsibility. Therefore, Pancasila Education plays an important role in building students’ character based on Pancasila values.

Abstract

Penguatan pendidikan karakter menjadi kebutuhan mendesak di tengah arus globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berbasis seni keagamaan, seperti hadrah, berpotensi menjadi media pembinaan karakter religius dan gotong royong. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan hadrah, mengidentifikasi tantangan, serta menganalisis dampaknya terhadap pembentukan karakter peserta didik di MTs Negeri 1 Karangasem. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan, pembina hadrah, dan peserta didik. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai religius ditanamkan melalui pembiasaan shalawat, pemaknaan syair, dan pembinaan sikap spiritual, sedangkan nilai gotong royong tercermin dalam kerja sama, tanggung jawab, dan kekompakan tim. Meskipun terdapat kendala teknis dan keterbatasan sarana, kegiatan hadrah berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan religiusitas dan praktik gotong royong siswa.

Abstract

Meskipun pentingnya media pembelajaran inovatif dan responsif secara budaya telah diakui, proses pembelajaran pendidikan ilmu sosial masih didominasi oleh metode pengajaran konvensional yang kurang maksimal dalam menumbuhkan motivasi belajar dan kemampuan bernalar kritis siswa. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi kesenjangan terkait pengembangan dan efektivitas media pembelajaran yang berlandaskan permainan tradisional khususnya dalam menumbuhkan motivasi dan keterampilan bernalar kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis permainan tradisional Engklek dan menganalisis validitas, kepraktisan, maupun efektivitasnya guna menumbuhkan motivasi belajar dan kemampuan bernalar kritis siswa. Dengan desain Research and Development (R&D) berdasarkan model ADDIE, data dikumpulkan dengan observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, tes, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan ahli media, ahli materi pelajaran, guru, dan siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Banjar, Bali. Subjek efektivitas dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Data dianalisis dengan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil pengembangan ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran IPS yang berhasil dikembangkan terbukti sangat layak, praktis, dan secara statistik efektif menumbuhkan motivasi belajar dan kemampuan bernalar kritis dengan nilai uji paired t-test sebesar (p < 0,05). Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada bidang pendidikan yang menunjukkan bahwa media ajar berbasis permainan tradisional mampu secara bersamaan mengembangkan hasil belajar kognitif dan afektif dengan mempertahankan nilai budaya lokal. Implikasi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa integrasi permainan tradisional sebagai teknik pedagogis yang efesien dalam pengajaran IPS agar lebih bermakna, memotivasi, dan berakar pada budaya. Dengan demikian, peneliti selanjutnya direkomendasikan agar mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis kearifan budaya yang relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa sehingga mampu menumbuhkan kemampuan kognitif dan afektif lainnya secara maksimal.
