Abstract

Abstract

Introduction: In previous studies a chronotype questionnaire has been compiled using a prayer time benchmark as a measure to determine whether a person's waking or sleeping behavior is categorized as early or late. The use of questionnaires based on patient answers regarding the question of how many hours from the evening prayer time (definitive night) and dawn time (the dawn twilight) does not rule out the possibility of recall bias. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a chronotype measuring tool based on the Google Prayer Schedule application, to calculate how long from the critical point the correspondence of a sundial with a person's waking time. Purpose: Develop a sundial based chronotype measuring tool from the google application for local prayer schedules. Method: Use of a questionnaire containing waking hours, hours of sleep on weekdays and holidays, to then calculate the difference from the critical time of the sun, namely the difference with the time of sunrise and the definitive hour of the night from the google application local prayer schedule where the respondent lives. Definitively, as in previous studies, 7 items were developed, relating to these habits. Respondents filled out via google form for questions from the questionnaire. Calculation of the difference between waking/sleeping hours and definitive sunrise/night hours by researchers. The research was conducted in the period November - December 2020. Results: There were 795 respondents who participated in this study. Analysis of the 6 questions, the results of the item-total correlation were sequentially with the value of r, 0.759; 0.690; 0.883; 0.761; 0.740; 0.908 with an overall p value of 0.000. Cronbach's alpha value = 0.877. Conclusion: the chronotype questionnaire based on the distance between the hours of sleep/wake up and the midpoint of sleep relative to the rising time, curfew, midnight point, is concluded to be valid and reliable.

Abstract

Adenomyosis is a type of disorder which endometrial glands and stroma grow in the myometrium. This disease causes a very high burden of health care, which  82.0% of patients undergoing hysterectomy and 37.6% on chronic pain medication. There is research on the neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) which is increased in this disease. However, there is still very limited research on this matter. Analytical observational research method with a cross sectional approach. A total of 135 samples using the consecutive sampling method. Data from Anatomical Pathology medical records from 2018 to 2023. Analysis using univariate, chi square test, and multivariate logistic regression. The results showed that the incidence of adenomyosis was highest in reproductive age (86.8%) and the NLR value at risk was 64.7%. The chi square test and logistic regression obtained the same findings, namely that there was a significant relationship between age and NLR on the incidence of adenomyosis (p<0.001). The prevalence ratio of age and NLR factors is 16.17 and 19.01. This means that NLR at risk has a 19.01 times on the incidence of adenomyosis, rather than age. Negelkerke R-square shows that age and NLR influence the incidence of adenomyosis by 54.9%. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between the incidence of adenomyosis based on age and NLR. The implications of this study show that NLR can be a simple predictor for the incidence of adenomyosis. This can be done especially in women of reproductive age with a history of dysmenorrhea with complaints of chronic pain.

Abstract

Mental health disorders adversely affect their general health and quality of life (Wang et al., 2020). In Indonesia, the prevalence in 2018 was 6.1%, and mental-emotional disorders were 9.8% (Kemenkes RI, 2019). A systematic review reported that in many studies, it is stated that the family has a protective role against mental health disorders or behaviors that affect mental health in general (Wlodarczyk et al., 2017). Studies specifically evaluating the effect of family functioning on mental health in the presence of symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress are limited. This study used a cross-sectional study design, evaluating the relationship between family functioning and mental health at one time. This study outputs data from Field Lab activities in the Public Health and Family Medicine Block and Life Skills Block in two different batches in 2020 and 2021 at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. A total of 1475 research subjects voluntarily participated in this study. In this study, multivariate analysis of statistically consistent variables highly significant on depression, anxiety, and stress is APGAR Family, with p values of 0.000, 0.000, and 0.001, respectively. The second statistically consistent variable is a significant - highly significant effect on the level of depression, anxiety, and stress with p values of 0.001, 0.015, and 0.001, respectively. A dysfunctional family and unmarriedness are consistent risk factors for depression, anxiety, and stress disorders.

Abstract

Giant cell tumors are benign neoplasms that damage bone and often recur and have aggressive lesions. Benign tumors that can transform into malignant, aggressive, and able to metastasize to other organs. These tumors range from 3-8% of primary bone tumors in Western populations and as many as 20% in Asian countries. Risk factors for this disease are more common in women and at the age of the second to fourth decade. However, there are differences about the distribution of rural and urban areas between countries, as well as the age distribution of patients with these tumors in some countries. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of age and residence on the occurrence of Giant Cell Tumor. This study used a cross-sectional research design. The study sample was a histopathology preparation taken from 107 patient medical record data according to inclusion criteria using purposive sampling techniques. The results of the study found subjects with the most GCT were found in the high-risk age group (age range 20 to 50 years) of 67.3% and most of them lived in urban areas as much as 81.3%. Fisher's test showed an influence of age on the incidence of giant cell tumors (p = 0.007) and no influence between residence and the incidence of giant cell tumors (p = 0.262). The conclusion of this study is that age has a significant effect on the occurrence of Giant cell tumors. Meanwhile, residence does not affect the occurrence of Giant cell tumors.
