Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan argumentasi siswa SMP AL-Baisuny Kokop pada meteri tata surya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan kuantitatif deskriptif. Sampel yang digunakan 28 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan sebanyak 5 soal essal yang meliputi indikator klaim, data, dan pembenaran. Hasil penelitian keterampilan argumentasi di SMP AL-Baisuny Kokop dengan rata-rata 64,44 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas VII sudah cukup dalam memberikan argumentasi terhadap permasalahan. Hasil indikator yang diperoleh dengan klaim 80,71 yang tergolong pada kualifikasi baik, Hal ini menunjukkan siswa sudah baik dalam memberikan klaim. data dengan rata-rata 69,28 tergolong pada kualifikasi cukup, hal ini menunjukkan siswa mampu memberikan data pendukung terhadap klaim yang diberikan, dan pembenaran dengan rata-rata 43,33 yang tergolong pada kualifikasi kurang, hal ini menunjukkan siswa kurang mampu dalam memberikan alasan terhadap klaim dan data yang diberikan.

Abstract

This research aims to conduct an ethnoscience study of the salt pond production process in Ragung Sampang Village as a support for Science subject learning material. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach. The research was carried out in Ragung Sampang Village using purposive sampling technique, which involves selecting informants, in this case, the salt farmers. Research instruments include interviews, observation sheets, and questionnaires. Data collection techniques encompass observation, interviews, documentation, and validation sheets. The findings are as follows: 1) There is a congruence between the ethnoscience study results of the salt production process and scientific principles. 2) The relationship between the results of the ethnoscience study of the salt production process and the scientific concepts found indicates alignment or correspondence with the Science learning concepts. During this study, a teaching module was produced as an outcome. The average validation scores from experts are as follows: Expert validation of content: 81%, Interview guide validation: 42%, Observation instrument validation: 60% and Media expert validation: 84%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in learning outcomes between the control and experimental classes by using the integrated nature of science awareness training learning model. This research uses Quasi Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This research was conducted at SMP Al-Kholiliyah Bangkalan using a simple random sampling technique, so that the sample used was 20 students in each class. The learning achievement test is based on Bloom's taxonomy with cognitive levels C1 to C6 in the form of an essay totaling 6 questions. The hypothesis analysis technique uses the free sample t test. based on the results of the study it can be concluded that: 1. The learning model of awareness training integrated with nature of science has an effect on student learning outcomes, as evidenced by the results of the free sample t test obtained a significance value of 0.000 less than 0.05, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. 2. The test results for the experimental class were better than the control class with an average score of 58.35 for the experimental class, while for the control class it was 24.95 with a percentage difference of 57,41%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan ensiklopedia keanekaragaman hayati pantai the legend Pamekasan. Penelitian ini dikembangkan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu, analyze, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Subjek uji coba perorangan yaitu 3 orang siswa dan uji coba kelompok kecil 8 siswa kelas VII A SMPN 3 Pademawu. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil validitas ahli materi dan ahli media mendapatkan skor 1 dengan kategori validitas sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh tersebut, maka bahan ajar ensiklopedia keanekaragaman hayati pantai the legend Pamekasan sangat layak untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan belajar-mengajar. Rata-rata persentase hasil respons siswa pada uji coba perorangan sebesar 89,58%, uji coba kelompok kecil sebesar 84,48%. Adapun rata-rata persentase hasil keterbacaan siswa mendapatkan pada uji coba perorangan sebesar 88,19%, uji coba kelompok kecil sebesar 85,42%.

Abstract

Tujuan pengembangan ini adalah mengetahui kelayakan, respon, dan keterbacaan terhadap modul IPA berbasis proyek terintegrasi STEM pada materi tekanan. Pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMPN 8 Pamekasan di kelas VIII A tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan: (1) hasil rata-rata penilaian uji kelayakan aspek materi  adalah validitas 87,7% dengan kategori sangat valid, reliabilitas 97,19% dengan kategori sangat baik dan aspek media adalah validitas 93,8% dengan kategori sangat valid, reliabilitas 95,5% dengan kategori sangat baik. (2) Hasil rata-rata penilaian keterbacaan modul sebesar 80,67% dengan kategori terbaca dengan sangat baik. (3) Hasil rata-rata penilaian respon siswa terhadap modul sebesar 84,73% dengan kategori sangat baik. Modul IPA berbasis proyek terintegrasi STEM pada materi tekanan dinyatakan layak.

Abstract

Science learning that integrates with local wisdom will make learning run well and meaningfull. This can be realized by developing teaching materials in the form of an educative magazine integrated with ethnoscience on the theme of Madura bamboo shells paste. The purpose of this study was to produce educative magazines and to determine the level of validity, readability of students, and students' responses to the teaching materials developed. This type of research is development using the ADDIE model. The instruments used were media expert validation sheets, material experts, science teachers, readability questionnaires and student responses. The trials carried out were individual trials, small group trials and large group trials. 1) The results showed that the validity of the media aspect was 88.33% and the material aspect was 98.61% with a very valid category. 2) The readability of the students obtained a score in the large group trial, namely 82.32% in the very good category. 3) Student responses obtained a percentage value in the large group trial, namely 85.70% in the very good category. This data shows that flipbook-based educative magazines integrated with ethnoscience on the theme of Madura bamboo shells paste are appropriate for science learning.

Abstract

The low level of science process skills, lack of variety of learning models, and limited laboratory facilities are the problems that underlie this research. This research uses quantitative research with the pre-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest research design. The sampling technique used was a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling type with the sample used in this study was 32 students of class VIII C UPT SMP Negeri 22 Gresik in the 2021-2022 academic year. Data collection techniques through science process skills tests, student response questionnaires, and observation of learning implementation. The result showed that: 1) the paired sample t-test analysis obtained a significance of 0.000 0.05 and t count -t table with (-64,266 -2,0395), indicating that there were differences in students' science process skills before and after the application of the guided discovery learning model with a virtual laboratory on students' science process skills. 2) The test of students' science process skills after the application of the guided discovery learning model with a virtual laboratory was 71% in the high category. Based on these results, it can be conclution that there are differences in students' science process skills before and after the application of guided discovery learning with virtual laboratories.

Abstract

Abstract This research was conducted because there are still many junior high school students who have lowargumentation skills so the purpose of this study is to improve students' argumentation skills with theArgument Driven Inquiry (ADI) learning model. The research method was included in the Pre-experimentwith One Group Pretest-posttest Design which was carried out at Al-Hamidiyah Blega Junior High Schoolfor the 2021/2022 Academic Year. Data collection techniques are carried out through tests, questionnaires,observation, and documentation. Furthermore, the hypothesis test was carried out using paired samplet-test. The results showed that there were differences in the results of the implementation of the ADIlearning model toward the students' argumentation skills with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, then H0was rejected and H1 was accepted. The results of calculating the n-gain score using SPSS have an averagescore of 0.66 with moderate criteria. Student responses positively toward the implementation of the ADIlearning model with an average score of 84.15; The implementation of the ADI learning model obtained ascore of 88% with a good category. It can be concluded that the implementation of the Argument DrivenInquiry learning model can improve students' argumentation skills.

Abstract

his study aims to determine the generic science skills of students before and after learning using the Experiential Learning learning model. The research method in this study used a pre-experiment in the form of One Group Pretest and Posttest Design. The research instrument used was using a generic science test, student response questionnaires and observation sheets using the purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used paired sample t test. Based on the results of the study, it was found that (1) the Experiential Learning Model had an influence in training students generic science skills as evidenced by the significance obtained, namely 0.000 <0.05, (2) The average learning implementation of the Experiential The learning model was 100% with a very good category,Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the Experiential learning model has an influence on students' generic science skills so that the learning process is important to implement in other materials.
