Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the ability of mathematical literacy and the responsibility of students with an ethnomathematics-style Realistic Mathematics Education learning model. This type of research is a qualitative research that is descriptive. To establish the validity of qualitative data then the inspection techniques used in this research using the triangulation of the source, that is to compare the suitability of data obtained from the results of interviews and tests. The study was conducted on one of the junior high schools in Semarang, and there are 6 research subjects representing each of the 2 students for the group of high responsibility categories, 2 students for the category of medium responsibility groups, and 2 students for the group of low liability categories. In this study it was found that there were students representing the responsibilities of being granted results from mathematical literacy skills tests with the same results as students representing high responsibility groups. The factors influencing the findings are the thoroughness of the students representing the group of responsibilities being in Corrected their work.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the description of problem-solving abilities supported by metacognition skills in digital learning Project Based Learning assisted by Edmodo. This study used a qualitative method. The population taken in this study were students of class X SMA N 1 Jekulo Kudus. This study used a true experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sampling technique used in this study was a randomized class technique. Data collection was carried out by means of written tests and interviews. Indicators of problem-solving abilities in this study include (1) identifying problems, (2) planning problems, (3) implementing problem solving in accordance with the plan, and (4) interpreting the results obtained. The results of this study indicate (1) the problem solving abilities of students who have high metacognition abilities meet the four problem solving indicators, (2) the problem solving abilities of students who have moderate metacognitive abilities meet the three problem solving indicators, (3) the problem solving abilities of students who have low metacognition ability only fulfills two problem solving indicators.

Abstract

Teknik analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) sudah dikembangkan oleh para ahli sejak tahun 1920-an, tetapi saat ini masih jarang yang menganalisis menggunakan jenis pemodelan dengan bentuk non-recursive yaitu pemodelan reciprocal yang memungkinkan adanya hubungan timbal balik antara variabel dalam suatu model. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan membentuk suatu pemodelan reciprocal mengenai service quality dari PT Aplikasi Karya Anak Bangsa (Go-Jek) Semarang, untuk mengetahui pengaruh hubungan reciprocal antara service quality dan customer loyalty yang dianalisis menggunakan Covarian Based Structural Equation Modeling (CB-SEM) dan menggunakan program LISREL 8.80. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengestimasi model adalah metode ML dengan mengoreksi standart error dan beberapa goodness of fit indices karena data tidak berdistribusi normal multivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa antara variabel service quality dan variabel customer loyalty tidak ada pengaruh hubungan timbal balik (reciprocal). Jadi, variabel service quality berpengaruh positif sebesar 0,15 terhadap variabel customer loyalty tetapi variabel customer loyalty berpengaruh negatif sebesar 0,43 terhadap variabel service quality.

Abstract

Jaringan syaraf tiruan salah satu alternatif untuk menyelesaikan berbagai macam permasalahan dalam pengambilan keputusan berdasarkan pelatihan yang diberikan. Aplikasi JST dapat diterapkan dalam berbagai bidang, salah satunya dalam bidang kesehatan. Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) salah satu metode JST yang berbasis pembelajaran kompetitif terawasi. Suatu lapisan akan secara otomatis belajar untuk mengklasifikasikan vektor-vektor input, jarak yang terdekat akan dikelompokkan dalam kelas yang sama. Angka penderita penyakit Infeksi Saluran Pernapasan Akut (ISPA) di Indonesia masih tinggi, ISPA harus ditangani dengan tepat sesuai diagnosis yang akurat. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah aplikasi pengambilan keputusan dengan menerapkan JST metode LVQ untuk mendiagnosis penyakit ISPA berdasarkan gejala-gejala yang dialami pasien. Aplikasi ini dibuat dengan menggunakan software Matlab R2018a. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif yang berupa data primer dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara, data yang berhasil dikumpulkan dari Puskesmas Wedung 2 sebanyak 200 data. Dari beberapa pengujian menunjukkan bahwa learning rate (α)=0.02, error goal =0.01, iterasi maksimum 20, perbandingan data latih dan data uji sebesar 80:20 menghasilkan nilai diagnosis terbaik dengan rata-rata akurasi mencapai 96.5% dan akurasi tertinggi sebesar 100%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi yang dibuat mampu untuk mendiagnosis penyakit ISPA secara optimal.

Abstract

.Komunikasi tulis matematika sangat penting karena tidak banyak siswa yang dapat memahami teks matematika maupun mengkomunikasikan ide-ide dalam benak mereka dengan baik, benar dan runtut. Geometri Analitik membutuhkan kemampuan daya tilik keruangan, termasuk Geometri Analitik (representasi Aljabar dari bangun-bangun Geometri Analitik), dengan bantuan software komputer Geometer's Sketchpad visualisasi Geometri Analitik dari representasi Aljabarnya dan sebaliknya akan lebih jelas, guru maupun siswa dapat mengkomunikasikan konsep-konsep dengan lebih jelas. Pembelajaran Geometri Analitik Datar dengan ceramah dan bahan ajar cetakan mengakibatkan ketrampilan proses pembelajaran Geometri Analitik Datar peserta didik masih jauh dari harapan, perlu dilakukan pembelajaran yang inovatif dan bahan ajar yang sesuai untuk Geometri Analitik datar. Terlebih jika dibantu dengan software yang memang untuk Geometri Analitik datar diharapkan akan meningkatkan aktifitas dan ketrampilan proses memecahkan masalah untuk soal-soal materi Geometri Analitik datar lebih meningkat. Metode proyek digunakan untuk menjembatani bahan ajar soal-soal pemecahan masalah berbantuan software Geometer's Sketchpad dengan pembelajaran di kelas. Geometer's Sketchpad adalah software yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu abstraksi siswa dalam mempelajari atau mengerjakan permasalahan materi Geometri Analitik datar khususnya dalam bidang Cartesius. Pelatihan dan workshop " IbM Bagi Guru-Guru Matematika SMP Yang Mengalami Kesulitan Pemecahan Masalah Melalui Visualisasi Geometri Analitik dari representasi Aljabarnya dan sebaliknya Bidang Cartesius Berbantuan Software Geometer's Sketchpad" perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan dan visualisasi bangun-bangun Geometri Analitik datar dengan Geometer's Sketchpad dan integrasinya dalam pembelajaran pemecahan matematika di kelas. Pelatihan ini diterapkan pada Guru-guru Matematika MGMP Sub Rayon 2 di kota Semarang, diamati dan dianalisis peningkatan penguasaan konsep Geometri Analitik, ketrampilan menggambarkan representasi Aljabar ke dalam benda Geometri Analitik maupun sebaliknya dan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematik terutama Geometri Analitik dalam pemecahan masalah. Pelatihan (Teori Geometri Analitik dan Praktek Geometer's Sketchpad) dilaksanakan selama 4x8 jam (4 hari), yaitu : Rabu tanggal 12 Agustus 2017, Kamis, tanggal 13 Agustus 2017, Rabu, tanggal 19 Agustus 2017, dan Kamis, 20 Agustus 2017. Pelatihan dilaksanakan di Aula gedung Serba Guna SMP Negeri 15 Semarang. Dilakukan tes awal dan tes akhir untuk melihat apakah ada peningkatan kemampuan penguasaan Geometri Analitik , dengan hasil : Rata-rata Nilai Pre-tes = 76,25, Rata-rata Nilai Pos-tes = 81, dianalisis peningkatannya dengan menggunakan Pairs Sample t-test, diperoleh nilai sig = 0.000, sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima dan dapat disimpulkan Nilai Rata-rata Pos-tes lebih baik dari Nilai Rata-rata Pre-tes, jadi ada peningkatan pemahaman dan ketrampilan Geometri Analitik dan Praktek Geometer's Sketchpad setelah dilaksanakan Pelatihan. Hasilpembuatan gambar-gambar menggunakan Geometer's Sketchpad sangat bagus dan menarik, dan peserta puas dengan pelatihan ini.

Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of knowing: (1) whether students' mathematical problem solving abilities in the online-based PME learning model achieved classical learning completeness; (2) is the average mathematical problem solving ability in the online-based PME learning model better than the online-based expository learning model; (3) is there any effect of metacognition performance on students' mathematical problem solving abilities in online-based PME learning models; (4) how is the description of mathematical problem solving abilities in terms of the metacognitive performance of Vocational High Schools Perdana Semarang students on the online-based PME learning model. This research uses the mix method. This research is a Quasi Experimental Design with Pre-Test-Post-Test Control Group Design. The population of this research is all students of class XI Vocational High Schools Perdana Semarang. The results of this study indicate that: (1) students' mathematical problem solving abilities in the online based PME learning model can achieve classical learning completeness; (2) the average mathematical problem solving ability of students in the online-based PME learning model is better than the online-based expository learning model; (3) there is a positive influence on the level of metacognition performance on students' mathematical problem solving abilities in the online PME learning model; (4) students with high metacognition performance have better mathematical problem solving abilities than students with moderate and low metacognition performance levels, then students with moderate metacognition performance have better mathematical problem solving abilities than students with low metacognition performance levels.

Abstract

The purpose of study to described student’s literacy analysis using Self-Organized Learning Environment (SOLE) learning model. The low student’s statistical literacy ability as one of the abilities needed facing problems in today’s society. Therefore, the problem became background of this study. By utilizing Internet accessibility and the environment in the Self-Organized Learning Environment (SOLE) learning model, it was possible for authentic learning and twenty-first century development skills to mature. This study used to Self-Organized Learning Environment (SOLE) learning model, which students self-organized in groups and learned to use computers connected to the internet with minimal teacher support. This study also used mix methods. Students' statistical literacy ability using the Self-Organized Learning Environment (SOLE) learning model was analyzed by descriptively. The result of study was a statistical analysis of the literacy of 32 students with the following details: 28.125% of students had statistical literacy in the high category, 40.625% students had statistical literacy in the medium category, the remaining 31.25% students were in the low category.

Abstract

The research aims is (1) to obtain learning quality of CTL model to students mathematical literacy, (2) to obtain mathematical literacy description based on logical reasoning, (3) to obtain mathematical literacy description based on numerical reasoning and (4) to obtain mathematical literacy description based on logical and numerical reasoning. The research type is descriptive study. The subject is XI AK SMK NU Lasem were taken 6 students high, medium and low logical reasoning, 6 students high, medium, and low numerical reasoning, 6 students high, medium, and low logical and numerical reasoning, 2 students high logical and medium numerical reasoning, 2 students medium logical and high numerical reasoning. The research result is (1) CTL models learning quality for mathematical literacy is good, (2) student mathematical literacy based on high logical reasoning level 4 and 5, medium level 3, low level 1 and 2, (3) student mathematical literacy based on high numerical reasoning level 5, medium level 4, low level 2 and 3, (4) student mathematical literacy based on high logical and numerical reasoning level 5, medium level 3 and 4, high logical and medium numerical reasoning or medium logical and high numerical reasoning level 4 and 5, low level 1 and 2.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' mathematical communication skills in terms of interest in learning for fourth grade students with GeoGebra-assisted ethnomathematical learning. This research is a mixed methods research with a sequential explanatory design. The results showed that learning with Problem Based Learning containing ethnomathematics based on local culture assisted by GeoGebra on students' mathematical communication skills in terms of high learning interest showed good results from all indicators. Students' mathematical communication skills in terms of interest in learning are showing good results as well. Furthermore, students' mathematical communication skills in terms of low learning interest showed good results, this is because students have not been able to solve the problems that are in each indicator of mathematical communication skills. So that it can be concluded, PBL learning containing ethnomathematics assisted by GeoGebra fourth grade students of SDI Tamalanrea I Makassar is proven to be effective on the mathematical abilities of fourth grade students of SDI Tamalanrea I Makassar.

Abstract

Matematika dipandang sebagai mata pelajaran yang sering ditemui pada berbagai tingkatan pendidikan. Matematika juga merupakan bidang studi penting yang berfungsi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menghitung, mengukur dan memanfaatkan konsep-konsep matematika sehingga dapat diimplementasikan pada kehidupan sehari-hari. Belajar matematika selamanya tidak sekedar berbicara tentang numeric (angka), tetapi lebih dari pada itu. Dalam menyelesaikan persoalan matematika hal mendasar yang perlu dipahami oleh setiap individu adalah kemampuan merepresentasi matematis. kemampuan reprsentasi dianggap sebagai pintu masuk dalam menyelesaikan persoalan-persoalan matematis yang rumit. Individu dianggap memiliki kemampuan representasi jika mampu memenuhi tiga indikator utama yakni representasi visual (simbol), representasi persamaan atau ekspresi matematis dan representasi verbal. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian literatur (literature review) dimana dalam melakukan review mengikuti mengikuti tahapan-tahapan yaitu tahapan pengumpulan data, tahap reduksi data, melakukan display data, pembahasan hasil penelitian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dalam penelitian ini review literatur dilakukan terhadap 20 artikel yang mungkin untuk menemukan pembahasan sesuai dengan judul penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan analisis yang dillakukan untuk mengetahui kemampuan representasi matematis ditinjau dari gaya kognitif field depeden dan field independen memperliahatkan bahwa individu dengan gaya kognitif tipe field depeden mampu memenuhi dua dari indikator representasi matematis sedangkan individu dengan gaya kognitif field independen mampu memenuhi ketiga indikator representasi matematis yaitu representasi visual, persamaan atau ekspresi matematis dan verbal. Kata Kunci: representasi matematis, gaya kongitif, field dependent, field independent
