Abstract

Determinant Legal Protection consists of business licenses, distribution permits, registered trademarks, and legality of business entities. From a theoretical perspective, this research contributes a novel integrated model that connects legal protection with MSME growth via digital platforms. It advances the literature by framing digitalization not only as a technological or market tool but as a strategic outcome of legal infrastructure. By quantifying both direct and indirect effects within a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) framework, this study strengthens empirical understanding of how regulatory formalization supports enterprise digitalization and growth. This model can be adapted or extended for cross-regional or sectoral studies in emerging markets. From a practical standpoint, the findings underscore that legal formalization—when combined with digital platform readiness—produces greater developmental impacts on MSMEs. Policymakers and stakeholders should therefore prioritize joint initiatives that streamline legal registration while simultaneously enabling digital onboarding, such as e-license platforms linked to e-commerce or fintech ecosystems. The research uses quantitative research, utilizing descriptive and inferential analysis through the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique. The utilized data comprises both primary and secondary sources, employing data collection methods such as questionnaires. MSME actors in Sungai Penuh City with a total of 150 are the sample of this study. The result of this study, business licenses, distribution permits, registered trademarks, and legality of business entities have proven to have a significant effect on legal protection. Legal protection has a positive and significant effect on digital trading platforms and MSME development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the school principal as a manager in the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) within the Merdeka Curriculum at SD Negeri 2 Sanggrahan, Kranggan District, Temanggung Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. The obtained data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques to gain an in-depth understanding of the implementation of P5 and the role of the principal in managing the curriculum. The results of the study show that SD Negeri 2 Sanggrahan has successfully implemented the Merdeka Curriculum, although it is not a model school, with a focus on the development of student character through the dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile such as independence, cooperation, critical thinking, and creativity. The role of the school principal as a manager is crucial in ensuring the success of this program, with structured steps in the planning, organizing, and supervising the implementation of P5. The principal also plays a key role as an instructional leader who fosters collaboration among teachers, students, parents, and the community in supporting the implementation of this character-based project. However, challenges related to limited infrastructure and less-than-optimal community involvement still need to be addressed. This study recommends enhancing technology facilities, strengthening critical and creative thinking dimensions among students, and improving teacher competencies through continuous training. Furthermore, the involvement of parents and the community in supporting the implementation of P5 should be increased through more intensive socialization. Thus, it is expected that SD Negeri 2 Sanggrahan will continue to develop as an effective school in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum and serve as a model for other schools in fostering student character and academic competence holistically.

Abstract

Areas in Indonesia are prone to earthquakes, so it is necessary to plan a structure that can withstand the lateral forces caused by the earthquake. Shear walls are very effective in resisting lateral forces due to their high stiffness. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the location of shear walls on structures subjected to earthquake loads according to SNI 1726-2019. 7 structural models were created, namely 1 model without a shear wall and 6 models plus a shear wall with the same area and location which were divided into 2 models each in the core area, transition area and edge area and analyzed with software ETABS. Results of analysis are time period, story drift and moments of column in all models are then compared. Obtaining the value of the small time period by placing the shear wall at the edge of the building, with the highest stiffness value. Obtain the value of the story drift in the direction of the small long axis by placing a shear wall in the core area of the building, with a relatively small stiffness value. While value of the short axis deviation story drift by placing a shear wall in the transition area with a small stiffness. Small column moments value by the location of the shear wall in the transition area has the smallest maximum column moment value with a relatively small stiffness. The rigidity of the frame structure is greatest by placing shear wall at the edges of the building.

Abstract

Background: Nurses are central to effective healthcare delivery, yet their economic welfare is often undervalued, especially in private healthcare institutions. Disparities in income and expenditure can significantly influence nurses’ overall well-being, impacting their physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and financial conditions. Objective: This study aimed to analyze how income and expenditure influence the prosperity of nurses employed in private hospitals in North Jakarta. Methods: A quantitative cross-sectional study was conducted with 348 nurses selected through proportional random sampling. Data were gathered using structured questionnaires, complemented by direct observations and literature review. Prosperity was evaluated across five dimensions: physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and economic. Univariate analyses described frequency distributions, while Chi-square tests with continuity corrections were used to explore associations between financial variables and prosperity outcomes. Results: Most respondents reported positive levels of physical (78.45%), psychological (78.16%), spiritual (83.3%), and economic (70.97%) well-being. However, social prosperity was less prevalent (49.4%). Bivariate analysis showed a statistically significant relationship between income and overall prosperity (p = 0.004), as well as between expenditure levels and prosperity (p = 0.044), indicating that both earnings and spending patterns are influential factors. Conclusion: Nurse prosperity in North Jakarta’s private hospitals remains an under-addressed issue, particularly regarding fair wages and financial protections. Inconsistencies with regional wage regulations persist in some institutions. Policymakers and healthcare administrators should reinforce fair compensation and promote financial planning initiatives to support nurses' holistic well-being and improve workforce retention.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of ethical values, norms, and professional discipline in healthcare practice, with particular emphasis on ethical dispute resolution mechanisms. Using a qualitative approach, this research combines normative legal analysis with case studies by reviewing laws and regulations, professional codes of ethics, guidelines, and documented cases of ethical disputes resolved through mediation and ethics committees. The study highlights the central role of ethical principles such as respect for patient autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence, and justice in ensuring the protection of patient rights and maintaining the integrity of healthcare professionals. The findings reveal that the healthcare sector often faces complex ethical dilemmas arising from conflicts of interest, resource limitations, and professional accountability. Non-litigation mechanisms, particularly mediation reinforced by Article 310 of Law Number 17 of 2023 on Health, have proven effective in resolving conflicts fairly, transparently, and constructively. These mechanisms not only provide immediate solutions but also contribute to rebuilding trust between healthcare providers and patients while promoting restorative justice. The study concludes that integrating ethical principles with effective dispute resolution and fostering an institutional culture of ethics are crucial to strengthening professionalism, accountability, and public trust. Continuous ethical education, leadership commitment, and institutional support are key to building a sustainable healthcare system oriented toward patient welfare and social justice.
