Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of regenerative innovation and ethical design based on the eco-humanism philosophy on company performance and market position of Rubberwood Baby Safety Harness products. Using sales simulation data for the 2020–2024 period, the study found that the use of regenerative rubberwood materials and the implementation of ethical design contributed significantly to improving the commercial performance of PT X. Product sales increased from 1,250 units (2020) to 2,840 units (2024) with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 21.7%. The initial shipment to Japan in 2021 proved to be a catalyst for increasing international demand, indicated by an increase in export sales from 320 units (2021) to 1,180 units (2024). The results of a simulated consumer survey showed that 78% of respondents considered the use of regenerative materials as a factor in increasing the product's sustainability value, while 72% considered ethical design to increase trust and safety. Internally, the product's contribution to the company's revenue increased from 8.5% to 21.4% during the study period, with a net profit margin increase from 12.3% to 19.8%. These findings indicate that regenerative innovation and ethical design not only enhance the product's ecological value but also strengthen its market position, as evidenced by a distributor perception score of 4.4 out of 5 and a second-place ranking in the eco-friendly baby product category in the Japanese market based on a demand index simulation.

Abstract

Human resources are those who provide the strength, expertise, creativity, and enthusiasm to manage an organization's shared assets. This is certainly a significant asset and is crucial for company management. Employees are a vital element in a company because of their significant contribution to achieving targets and business development. To achieve optimal growth, companies need employees with high skills and strong commitment. Retaining quality employees is a crucial factor in achieving organizational goals, especially amidst increasing global competition. This study aims to analyze the influence of the physical and psychological work environment on employee retention, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. The method used is a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach based on Partial Least Squares (SmartPLS 4.0). The sample consisted of 120 permanent employees at a private university in Medan. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire. The results showed that the physical and psychological work environment significantly influenced job satisfaction, and job satisfaction mediated the relationship between the work environment and employee retention. Based on the SmartPLS results, it can be concluded that the research model has high validity and reliability, the relationship between variables is significant and strong, with an R² value indicating a feasible and stable model, and job satisfaction acts as a significant mediator, strengthening the influence of the work environment on employee retention. These results emphasize the importance of creating a physically comfortable and psychologically conducive work environment to increase employee loyalty.

Abstract

Digital financial applications have become essential tools for transaction management, savings, payments, and investment activities, particularly among millennials who represent the highest adoption segment in the digital economy. This study examines the influence of financial literacy and income on digital financial application usage behavior among millennials. A quantitative explanatory design was employed, and data were collected from active users of digital financial platforms, including mobile banking, e-wallets, and online investment services. The dataset was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM–PLS) to assess both the measurement and structural components of the model. The measurement model exhibited strong reliability and validity, supported by high factor loadings, Composite Reliability values exceeding 0.89, and Average Variance Extracted (AVE) values above 0.73. Discriminant validity was confirmed through the Fornell–Larcker criterion and HTMT analysis. The structural model revealed that financial literacy significantly influences digital financial behavior (β = 0.389, t = 6.214, p < 0.001), emphasizing the role of knowledge, attitudes, and financial management capability in shaping responsible digital financial engagement. Income also demonstrated a significant positive effect (β = 0.334, t = 5.102, p < 0.001), indicating that greater economic capacity supports broader and more advanced use of digital financial tools. The model’s R² value of 0.472 indicates moderate predictive power, while a Q² value of 0.311 confirms strong predictive relevance. These findings underscore the importance of both cognitive and economic factors in cultivating safe, inclusive, and sustainable digital financial behavior among millennials.

Abstract

This Systematic Literature Review (SLR) examines the application of the E-Servqual theory developed by Parasuraman et al. (2005) within e-business research published from 2020 to 2025. The review highlights that the E-Servqual model continues to be theoretically robust and practically relevant in assessing electronic service quality amid rapid digital transformation. Across the selected studies, the dimensions of Efficiency, System Availability, and Privacy consistently emerge as the most dominant factors influencing users’ evaluation of digital service excellence. These dimensions are especially critical as businesses increasingly rely on online platforms to deliver services, manage customer interactions, and support technology-based accounting processes. Most of the reviewed studies adopt a quantitative research approach, with survey instruments used to capture user perceptions of electronic service quality. The collected data are predominantly analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), demonstrating its popularity for measuring complex relationships between service quality dimensions and user satisfaction or behavioral intentions in digital environments. The consistent use of this analytical method also reflects the growing emphasis on empirical validation in e-business and digital accounting research. Overall, the findings of this SLR reinforce the position of E-Servqual as a flexible and comprehensive theoretical framework for evaluating service quality in technology-driven settings. Its adaptability allows researchers and practitioners to assess various digital platforms, including online marketplaces, financial technology services, and accounting information systems. Thus, E-Servqual remains an essential tool for understanding user experience and enhancing service performance in modern e-business ecosystems.  Keywords  : E-Servqual, Electronic Service Quality, E-Business, Digital Accounting, User Experience, SLR

Abstract

Abstract

Live commerce is increasingly widespread in Indonesia, yet the psychological mechanisms that convert viewers into buyers remain underexplored. This study examines how content creator attributes expertise, trustworthiness, attractiveness, brand–creator fit, and responsiveness—affect purchase intention through the serial mediation of perceived authenticity and parasocial interaction. A survey was conducted among live-commerce users in Medan with sampling 278 respondent using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using two-stage PLS-SEM with bootstrap. The measurement model met reliability and validity thresholds loadings 0.77–0.86; α and CR ≥ 0.80; AVE ≥ 0.50; HTMT < 0.85. Results show that content creator attributes significantly influence perceived authenticity β = 0.583; p < 0.001; perceived authenticity influences parasocial interaction β = 0.517; p < 0.001; and parasocial interaction influences purchase intention β = 0.468; p < 0.001. There is also a significant indirect effect of content creator attributes on purchase intention through perceived authenticity and parasocial interaction β = 0.141; p < 0.001. Explanatory power is moderate R² authenticity = 0.34; R² parasocial = 0.27; R² purchase intention = 0.22; all Q² > 0. The findings formalize a mechanism in which authenticity fosters closeness and, in turn, raises purchase intention, offering actionable guidance for curating creators and designing responsive, transparent live sessions

Abstract

At PT Capella Dinamika Nusantara Pekanbaru, this research aims to explore how pricing affects buying choices, with promotions acting as a middle factor. Building on a previous model that only looked at the direct influence of price and advertising on what consumers do, this study introduces a new approach. Data was collected from 100 people who bought Honda Beat motorcycles, chosen using the Slovin formula, and applied a quantitative method. The responses were evaluated using a five-point Likert scale, and the data was examined through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. The study shows that price has a strong influence and positively affects both marketing strategies and purchase decisions. Additionally, promotions are crucial in shaping how price impacts buying choices and significantly affect those decisions. These results suggest that just having a good price won’t necessarily increase the chance of a sale without strong marketing strategies. Therefore, businesses should implement marketing tactics that emphasize the significance of competitive pricing to influence consumer purchasing behavior.
