Abstract

The students' lack of enthusiasm for learning activities and the use of inappropriate learning models contribute to the low activity levels and learning outcomes. Utilizing the active knowledge sharing learning model with the assistance of learning animation videos is one approach to overcoming these issues. The purpose of this study (1) to identify and describe the implementation of learning by using the active knowledge sharing learning model assisted by animated learning videos, (2) to identify and describe student activities and learning outcomes by using active knowledge sharing assisted by animated learning videos, (3) to identify and describe the influence of the active knowledge sharing learning model assisted by animated learning videos on student activities and learning outcomes. This research is a quasi-experimental research using nonequivalent pretest posttest control group design. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling method. Class XII MIPA 1 as many as 22 students as the experimental class and class XII MIPA 2 as many as 22 students as the control class. The research instrument was in the form of observation sheets for learning activities and learning outcomes tests. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Based on the results of the analysis it is known that the use of the active knowledge sharing learning model assisted by video animation learning on cell division material for class XII MIPA SMAN 5 Barru has a significant effect on learning activities with t_hitung>t_tabel (9.923>2.018), as well as learning outcomes with t_tabel>t_(hitung) (12.15>2.018) so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the concept of correlational research. Correlational research is a type of study aimed at identifying the relationship between two or more variables and measuring the strength and direction of that relationship. It is a quantitative research method designed to identify relationships between variables without altering or manipulating them. In correlational research, researchers focus on measuring the degree of relationship or association between existing variables. This research does not attempt to establish causation but rather examines whether significant correlations exist between the variables studied. The method used in this research involves a literature review, where the researcher examines related literature and relevant sources. The findings conclude that an appropriate research design can utilize either a cross-sectional design (collecting data at a single point in time) or a longitudinal design (collecting data at multiple points in time). Reliable and valid instruments, such as questionnaires, surveys, or secondary data, are employed to measure the variables. The collected data are quantitative and are analyzed statistically. Statistical analysis techniques, such as Pearson or Spearman correlation coefficients, can be used to measure the strength and direction of the relationship between variables. Correlational research is highly useful in providing insights into relationships between variables and can serve as a foundation for further studies.

Abstract

The Islamic education curriculum plays an important role in shaping students' personalities, morals, and spirituality by integrating religious and scientific values. This article uses the literature review method to examine the application of the Islamic education curriculum and its learning activities in various Islamic educational institutions. This curriculum integrates Islamic values in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. In addition to emphasizing academic achievement, the curriculum also focuses on forming an Islamic character. The learning activities implemented are contextual, experience-based, and supported by technology tailored to Islamic values. The findings show that the Islamic education curriculum is holistic, balancing spiritual and academic aspects. Regular evaluation of the curriculum is needed so that Islamic education remains relevant and can produce a knowledgeable generation with Islamic character and ready to contribute to society.

Abstract

The description of quantitative research is an essential part of a study that uses research methods based on numbers and statistics to obtain, analyze, and explain data. This research aims to gain a deeper understanding of the quantitative research methods, types of research in quantitative research, procedures, and data measurement in quantitative research. The data was collected through a literature review. The results of this study are expected to provide a strong understanding of quantitative research methods and to make a significant contribution to the development of scientific knowledge and decision-making in various fields.

Abstract

This study examines the comparative causal analysis of the deconstruction of the hisab-rukyat method in determining the beginning of the Hijri month. The method used in this study is (library research) to integrate theories and empirical findings related to comparative causal research with a descriptive qualitative type using a phenomenological research approach. Data collected through literature studies were analyzed using data reduction techniques, data presentation and conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the preference for the hisab or rukyat method is not merely a matter of scientific technicality, but is influenced by the institutional history, religious authority, and ideological views of each group, such as Nahdlatul Ulama which prioritizes rukyat and Muhammadiyah which prioritizes hisab. This difference also has an impact on the social dynamics of the community, ranging from tolerance, potential conflict, to reconciliation efforts. This study emphasizes the importance of an interdisciplinary approach in understanding religious practices, as well as the need for open dialogue between Islamic organizations to build understanding.

Abstract

Science literacy is an essential aspect in assessing the extent to which students can understand, apply, and evaluate science concepts in everyday life, so analyzing this ability is necessary to determine the level of readiness of students in facing the challenges of the 21st century. The purpose of this study is to determine the science literacy skills of learners, identify factors that affect the science literacy skills of learners, and recommend strategies to improve the science literacy skills. The research method used was descriptive quantitative. The study population included all ninth-grade students of SMPN 52 Makassar, totaling 244 students. The research sample comprised 68 people, who were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through tests and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis. The results showed that students' science literacy skills were classified as “Very Low”, while the attitude aspects of students were classified as “High”. Factors influencing students' science literacy skills are also classified as “High”. The recommended strategy to improve science literacy skills is to use a variety of learning models or media so that students do not feel bored.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes of students before and after the use of puzzle media and to evaluate its effectiveness in thematic learning on Theme 3 “Caring for Living Beings,” Subtheme 1 “Animals and Plants in My Home Environment,” among fourth-grade students at SD Inpres Samata. The research employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design using the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample consisted of two classes, each comprising 22 students. Data collection instruments included learning outcome tests (pretest and posttest) and documentation. The analysis results indicated a significant improvement in learning outcomes following the use of puzzle media, with an average N-Gain of 74.22% (high category) compared to 30.82% (low category) before the intervention. These findings suggest that puzzle media is reasonably effective in enhancing student learning outcomes. The implications of this study include increased student motivation, valuable input for school-based learning evaluations, and practical insights for researchers. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya media puzzle serta keefektifannya pada pembelajaran tematik tema 3 “Peduli terhadap Makhluk Hidup” subtema 1 “Hewan dan Tumbuhan di Lingkungan Rumahku” pada siswa kelas IV SD Inpres Samata. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan desain Quasi Experimental tipe Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas, masing-masing 22 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes hasil belajar (pretest dan posttest) dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan setelah penggunaan media puzzle, dengan rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 74,22% (kategori tinggi), dibandingkan 30,82% (kategori rendah) sebelum penggunaan media. Hal ini menggambarkan bahwa media puzzle cukup efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Implikasi penelitian ini mencakup peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa, bahan evaluasi pembelajaran bagi sekolah, dan wawasan langsung bagi peneliti. Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of classroom action research (CAR) in improving teacher professionalism and how such improvements contribute to national education quality, with a particular focus on the Indonesian context. Using a qualitative approach, the study draws on an extensive literature review of peer-reviewed journal articles, policy documents, and empirical case studies to analyze patterns and themes related to teacher development and instructional reform. The findings indicate that CAR is an effective, reflective, and context-sensitive approach that empowers teachers to engage in inquiry-based practice, adapt teaching strategies to student needs, and improve pedagogical competencies. Furthermore, CAR supports collaborative learning cultures and enhances teacher agency, contributing to sustained school improvement and alignment with national education goals. The study concludes that teacher professionalism, when nurtured through structured and supportive CAR initiatives, serves as a foundation for high-quality education. The implications highlight the importance of institutional support, leadership, and mentoring in making CAR a sustainable element of teacher professional development strategies.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the level of effectiveness of Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on the Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) learning model in the principles and practices of Islamic economics in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Majene. In answering this problem the author uses a type of research and development approach that adapts the 4D development model design, namely: 1) definition, 2) design, 3) development, 4) distribution, by producing a certain product. The product produced is a Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) based LKPD on the principles and practices of Islamic economics. The subjects of this research were Islamic religious education teachers and class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Majene. This research was created to find out how effective the LKPD that will be developed is. Validity data was obtained from the results of expert validators regarding the LKPD being developed, practicality data was obtained from teacher and student response questionnaires and effectiveness was obtained from learning outcome tests. The results of this research show that the validation results from expert validators of Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) based LKPD teaching materials developed by researchers have met the criteria for validity, practicality and effectiveness. It is said to be effective by looking at the N-Gain test results, namely 0.71, which is in the high category. From these data it can be said that the LKPD based on Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) that was developed can be said to be effectively used as teaching material in the learning process. The implication of this research is that LKPD based on Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) on the principles and practices of Islamic economics is considered as one of the teaching materials that can be used in the classroom learning process. Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) based LKPD on the principles and practices of Islamic economics should be tested in other schools. Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat efektivitas Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis model pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) pada materi prinsip dan praktik ekonomi Islam kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Majene. Dalam menjawab permasalahan tersebut penulis menggunakan jenis pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development) yang mengadaptasi desain model pengembangan 4D yaitu: 1) pendefinisian, 2) perancangan, 3) pengembangan, 4) penyebaran, dengan menghasilkan produk tertentu. Produk yang dihasilkan adalah LKPD berbasis Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) pada materi prinsip dan praktik ekonomi Islam. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah guru pendidikan agama Islam dan peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Majene. Penelitian ini dibuat untuk mengetahui bagaimana keefektifan LKPD yang akan dikembangkan. Data kevalidan diperoleh dari hasil validator ahli tentang LKPD yang dikembangkan, data kepraktisan diperoleh dari angket respon guru dan peserta didik dan keefektifan diperoleh dari tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil validasi dari validator ahli bahan ajar LKPD berbasis Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) yang dikembangkan peneliti telah memenuhi kriteria kevalidan, praktis, dan evektif. Dikatakan efektif dengan melihat hasil uji N-Gain yaitu sebesar 0,71 berada pada kategori tinggi. Dari data tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa LKPD berbasis Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) yang dikembangkan dapat dikatakan efektif digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dalam proses pembelajaran. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah LKPD berbasis Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) pada materi-materi prinsip dan praktik ekonomi Islam dipertimbangkan sebagai salah satu bahan ajar yang dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. LKPD berbasis Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) pada materi prinsip dan praktik ekonomi Islam sebaiknya diuji cobakan ke sekolah-sekolah lain.

Abstract

Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) plays a crucial role in enhancing plant health, while Burkholderia sp. has been identified and has potential as a promising PGPR for maize plants. Recognizing the essential role of PGPR in plant health, this study explores how L-TRP addition might improve PGPR performance for better plant growth. Employing a completely randomized design, the study assesses the effects of Burkholderia sp. as PGPR on maize growth across three treatment groups: PGPR with L-TRP, PGPR without L-TRP, and a control group. The evaluation focuses on plant growth metrics, plant hormone production (auxin and gibberellin), and siderophore activity to gauge plant iron availability. Statistical analysis highlights that L-TRP supplementation notably increases auxin production in the PGPR + L-TRP group, surpassing the PGPR without L-TRP and control groups. Although both PGPR treatments elevate gibberellin levels compared to the control, auxin increase is the most significant outcome, indicating no substantial difference in gibberellin levels between the two PGPR groups. Enhanced siderophore production suggests improved iron assimilation for plants. The findings demonstrate that L-TRP supplementation with PGPR, particularly Burkholderia sp., effectively boosts maize growth, primarily through increased auxin and siderophore production. This combination presents a promising strategy for augmenting agricultural yields, especially for maize productivity, by leveraging the synergistic effects of soil microbes and nutrient supplementation.
