Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in shaping individuals who are competent and prepared to face global challenges. One of the key components of education is the curriculum, which serves as a framework guiding the teaching and learning process. However, existing curricula often fail to respond adequately to the rapid pace of societal change and the evolving demands of the labor market. This study aims to explore the application of the Research and Development (R&D) approach as an evaluative method for curriculum development in education. The R&D approach enables evidence-based, responsive, and continuously evolving curriculum design through systematic stages such as needs analysis, prototype development, field testing, evaluation, and revision. The findings of this research indicate that implementing the R&D model enhances curriculum relevance, instructional effectiveness, and overall learning quality. Evaluation results demonstrate notable improvements in students’ critical thinking and collaboration skills, alongside high satisfaction levels among both teachers and learners. By integrating evaluation outcomes into the curriculum development cycle, educational programs can be continuously refined to align with the demands of the modern era and the workforce. This study concludes that the R&D approach significantly contributes to the creation of more adaptive, innovative, and effective curricula.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian: Revitalisasi Kawasan merupakan upaya untuk menghidupkan kembali lingkungan dan upaya pelestarian kawasan budaya karena setiap kota memiliki kawasan cagar budaya yang perlu dilestarikan. Adanya ancaman modernisasi, sehingga perlu adanya upaya pelestarian seperti melakukan revitalisasi kawasan. Lokasi studi kasus dalam penelitian ini adalah kawasan bersejarah sebagai objek wisata di Kecamatan Somba Opu Kabupaten Gowa yaitu Mesjid Tua Katangka, Makam Sultan Hasanuddin dan Museum Balla Lompoa. Metodologi: Penelitian difokuskan pada jenis kegiatan revitalisasi apa yang perlu dilakukan pada kawasan bersejarah dan strategi pengembangan kawasan bersejarah pada lokasi penelitian. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis potensi kawasan dan analisis SWOT. Temuan Utama: Dari hasil analisa diatas dapat diketahui bahwa lokasi penelitian memiliki potensi (sosio-kultural, sosio-budaya, segi fisik lingkungan) dan strategi pengembangan kawasan meliputi kerjasama dengan instansi terkait, peningkatan infrastruktur kawasan untuk mendukung kegiatan dan aktivitas perkotaan, serta mengembangkan potensi budaya dan kesenian daerah melibatkan penduduk setempat disertai dengan sosialisasi pemahaman mengenai upaya-upaya terhadap pemeliharaan kawasan bersejarah sebagai bentuk revitalisasi kawasan. Keterbaruan/Keaslian penelitian: Sebagai rekomendasi, perlu dilakukan strategi pengembangan kawasan bersejarah, untuk menghidupkan kembali lingkungan, kawasan dan bagunan maupun infrastrukturnya yang sudah tidak berfungsi maksimal. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi dasar kepada pemerintah dan masyarakat dalam hal mengenai sejarah di lokasi penelitian terkait dengan pelestarian dan pengembangan kawasan.

Abstract

The limited number of potato seed caused the demand  The demand to be unfulfilled especially in South Sulawesi. The use of pathogen-free seeds is absolutely necessary that can be obtained through tissue culture. This study aims to determine the effect of adding coconut water on the growth of in vitro potato plant cuttings and the most effective type of treatment. This research used Varying Concentration of the coconut water, then measure its effect on potato growth (a high number of leaves and plantlets). This study consisted of 4 treatments: TQ0 (without coconut milk), TQ1 (100 ml/l), TQ2 (150ml/l), and TQ3 (200 ml/l). The results showed that the addition of coconut water on the growth of micro cuttings of potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) gave significant effect on the observed parameters, leaf number and plantlets weight. While TQ2 gave the best effect on the growth of in vitro micro cutting of potato.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the REMAP-GI learning model in class XI of SMAN 10 Gowa, determine the learning activities of class XI students at SMAN 10 Gowa who are taught using the REMAP-GI learning model;determine the learning outcomes of class XI students at SMAN 10 Gowa who are taught using the REMAP-GI model; to determine the effect of the REMAP-GI learning model on the learning activities of students in class XI at SMAN 10 Gowa; determine the effect of the REMAP-GI learning model on the learning outcomes of students in class XI at SMAN 10 Gowa. The method used was a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. The results showed that the average learning activity of students in the control class was 80.50 (active category), while that of the experimental class was 83.00 (very active category). The average learning outcome of the control class was 79.50 (high category), and that of the experimental class was 85.83 (very high category).
