Abstract

This research aims to implement the Tracer Study information system in the Department of Information Engineering, Nusa Putra University, with a focus on needs analysis, system design, application development, and testing. This system is designed to manage alumni data, monitor career development, and collect relevant information for study program evaluation. The successful implementation of the system is expected to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of Tracer Study, make a positive contribution to curriculum development, and improve the quality of education at universities.

Abstract

Kesehatan bank atau baik tidaknya sebuah bank dapat dievaluasi melalui laporan keuangan, yang bertujuan untuk menyajikan detail kinerja bank untuk pembuatan keputusan. Bank Kabupaten Cirebon (BKC) merupakan perusahaan daerah dibidang keuangan. Sebagai penyedia jasa keuangan, perusahaan daerah ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi bagi penambahan pendapatan asli daerah, sehingga perlunya dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui komponen apa saja yang mampu meningkatkan laba. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh komponen keuangan terhadap laba pada Bank Kabupaten Cirebon (BKC). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder laporan keuangan bank BKC. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa variabel kewajiban tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap laba/rugi bank BKC. Kemudian variabel total pendapatn memiliki pengaruh yang positif signifikan terhadap laba/rugi bank BKC. Sedangkan variabel total biaya memiliki pengaruh yang negatif dan signifikan terhadap laba/rugi bank BKC. Dan berdasarkan uji simultan, menunjukkan bahwa variabel kewajiban, pendapatan, dan biaya secara bersama-sama berpenaruh terhadap laba/rugi pada bank Kabupaten Cirebon (BKC).

Abstract

This research aims to investigate how profitability, capital structure, and firm size affect firm value. It also seeks to ascertain whether dividend policy can moderate the influence of profitability, capital structure, and firm size on firm value. The observational data in this study amounts to 340, obtained from 68 companies in the consumer non-cyclical sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2018-2022 period. The data were sourced from the companies' financial statements published on the website https://www.idx.co.id.  This study employs the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) model. The results indicate that profitability and capital structure have a positive but not significant impact, while firm size has a significantly negative impact on firm value. The interaction of profitability, capital structure, and firm size with dividend policy is significantly positive, meaning that dividend policy strengthens the influence of profitability, capital structure, and firm size on firm value. The implication of these findings is that dividend policy can be used as a reference in formulating company policies to enhance firm value.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the financial literacy level of students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Education at the Indonesian Education University. The research method used in this research is survey and descriptive research with a quantitative approach. This study has a population of 1.681 Faculty of Economics and Business Education students at the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia class of 2021 and 2022. This research departs from the issue of the rampant use of fintech at a productive age without being accompanied by good financial literacy skills, and it impacts lousy credit cases. The results of this study indicate that students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Education at the University of Education Indonesia are at the middle literacy level or sufficiently literate with gender does not differentiate the level of financial literacy between women and men, the region of origin does not differentiate the quality of the literacy level of students both from Java Island and outside Java Island, and an increase in the level of financial literacy accompanies students with personal income from the lowest to the highest.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the signaling theory by analyzing the effect of financial performance such as profitability, financing risk, liquidity, operational efficiency and capital adequacy on the profit sharing rate of Islamic Commercial Banks (BUS) mudharaba deposits. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method with panel data regression analysis techniques. Data collection techniques were carried out through documentation and literature study methods. The population in this study were 14 Islamic Commercial Banks. The method used for sampling in this research is purposive sampling with predetermined criteria, with a total sample of 11 Islamic Commercial Banks for four years (2017-2020), with a total of 176 observational data. The results showed that simultaneously the level of profitability, the level of financing risk, the level of liquidity, the level of operational efficiency and the level of capital adequacy had a significant effect on the rate of profit sharing for mudharaba deposits. Partially, the level of profitability and the level of operational efficiency have a positive and significant effect on the rate of profit sharing for mudharaba deposits. The level of liquidity has a negative and significant effect on the rate of profit sharing for mudharaba deposits. The level of financing risk and the level of capital adequacy have no effect on the rate of profit sharing for mudharaba deposits.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Exchange Rates on Stock Prices during the Covid-19 Pandemic.This research was conducted using secondary data. The population in this study are infrastructure companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with a sample size of 19. The research period was 4 months, namely January 17, 2020 to May 20, 2020. Data collection in this study is based on world economic conditions and Indonesia which is weakening due to the disaster the Covid-19 pandemic and based on the phenomenon that the infrastructure business will benefit amid the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a linear regression analysis method using Eviews 9. The results of the regression analysis show that Exchange Rates affect the Stock Price of the Infrastructure Sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange,these results have similarities or differences with the results of research in other emerging market countries.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pengaruh struktur aset, profitabilitas, dan pertumbuhan terhadap kebijakan hutang pada bank umum syariah. Metode yang digunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik Ordinary Least Squared (OLS). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui metode dokumentasi dan studi kepustakaan. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah Bank Umum Syariah (BUS) yang terdiri dari 12 Bank Umum Syariah. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling dan data yang digunakan adalah data panel (gabungan antara data time series dan cross section). Penelitian ini menggunakan database sekunder dari laporan tahunan masing-masing perusahaan periode 2020 sampai dengan 2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur aset tidak berpengaruh terahadap kebijakan hutang, profitabilitas tidak berpengaruh terhadap kebijakan hutang, dan pertumbuhan perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap kebijakan hutang Bank Umum Syariah.

Abstract

Islamic finance, a rapidly expanding sector, integrates financial principles with Islamic moral and ethical guidelines derived from the Quran and Hadith. This study conducts a thorough analysis of literature reviews in this field to discern its growth and collaborative dynamics. The primary objective of this research is to analyze literature reviews on Islamic finance using the Scopus database, thereby providing insights into publication trends, influential countries, and emerging research themes. An initial dataset of 231 publications was extracted from the Scopus database and refined to 139 publications for detailed bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer software. The analysis revealed that the year 2023 had the highest number of journal publications, totaling 21 articles, while the highest citation count, 221, was recorded in 2014. These publications are globally dispersed across America, Asia, Africa, Australia, and Europe. The most influential countries with substantial international collaboration include the United States, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, and Malaysia. The study concludes that Islamic finance is a burgeoning financial market segment that promotes equitable financial and economic frameworks. The increasing demand for Sharia-compliant financial products and the advancement of Islamic financial institutions are noteworthy trends. The findings offer deeper insights into the evolution of Islamic finance research, identify centers of excellence, and delineate current research trends. This foundational framework will assist researchers, practitioners, and academics in navigating the future development of Islamic finance research, thereby fostering growth and innovation in the field.========================================================================================================ABSTRAK – Analisis Blibliometrik Keuangan Islam: Pemetaan Perkembangan dan Tren Riset. Sistem keuangan Islam, dalam praktiknya, mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai moral dan etika Islam yang bersumber dari Al-Quran dan Hadits. Penelitian ini melakukan analisis menyeluruh terhadap tinjauan literatur di bidang ini untuk memahami perkembangan dan dinamika kolaborasinya. Tujuan utamanya adalah menganalisis tinjauan literatur terkait keuangan Islam menggunakan basis data Scopus, untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang tren publikasi, negara-negara berpengaruh, dan tema penelitian yang muncul. Dataset awal sebanyak 231 publikasi diekstraksi dan disaring menjadi 139 publikasi untuk analisis bibliometrik menggunakan aplikasi VOSviewer. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tahun 2023 memiliki jumlah publikasi tertinggi, yaitu 21 artikel, sementara jumlah sitasi tertinggi (221) tercatat pada tahun 2014. Publikasi ini tersebar di berbagai benua, dimana negara-negara yang paling berpengaruh dengan kerjasama internasional yang signifikan adalah Amerika Serikat, Indonesia, Inggris, Arab Saudi, dan Malaysia. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keuangan Islam merupakan segmen pasar keuangan yang berkembang pesat yang mempromosikan kerangka keuangan dan ekonomi yang adil. Permintaan yang meningkat untuk produk-produk keuangan yang sesuai Syariah dan perkembangan lembaga keuangan Islam adalah tren yang patut menjadi perhatian. Temuan ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang evolusi penelitian keuangan Islam, mengidentifikasi pusat-pusat keunggulan, dan menjelaskan tren penelitian saat ini. Kerangka dasar ini akan membantu peneliti, praktisi, dan akademisi dalam menavigasi perkembangan masa depan penelitian keuangan Islam, sehingga mendorong pertumbuhan dan inovasi di bidang ini.

Abstract

The historical trajectory of East Java, particularly Magetan, is intricately linked with the broader political and cultural developments of Central Java and Yogyakarta, especially since the Hindu-Buddhist era and the subsequent rise of Mataram Islam. This research investigates how historical political dynamics have shaped contemporary cultural identities in the Magetan region. Through a historical approach and the analysis of various archival sources, the study examines key political events, including the conquest of Kanitèn, the Trunojoyo rebellion, and the Chinese Insurrection, and their impacts on Magetan. The findings reveal that the political maneuvers of Mataram Islam, coupled with Dutch colonial intervention, significantly influenced the cultural landscape in Magetan. The concept of keagungbinataraan mandated Magetan’s allegiance to the Yogyakarta Sultanate, resulting in the adoption of Mataraman culture as an expression of loyalty. The political rivalry between the Surakarta and Yogyakarta palaces intensified cultural contestations, with Magetan predominantly aligning with the Yogyakarta Sultanate, as evidenced by the prevalent use of the slendro-tuned gamelan. These results underscore the enduring influence of historical political events on Magetan’s cultural identity, which continues to evolve in the present day.

Abstract

In the aviation industry, a strong safety culture relies heavily on management commitment. Management committed to safety not only complies with regulations and procedures, but also inspires and motivates all personnel to prioritize safety in every operational aspect. A lack of management commitment can result in the implementation of a weak safety culture, increasing the risk of accidents and incidents. This research focuses on analyzing management commitment to safety culture at airports. The aim of this research is to improve aviation safety through effective strategy and implementation. This research uses a qualitative approach and literature review to collect data and analyze it. The research results show that management commitment to safety culture is very important in improving aviation safety. The strategies used in this research include providing better training, stricter supervision, and the use of more modern technology. Implementation of this strategy is carried out by increasing management awareness and concern for aviation safety, as well as improving the quality of services provided. In conclusion, this research shows that management commitment to safety culture is very important in improving aviation safety. The strategies and implementation used in this research can be a reference for other airports in improving flight safety.
