Abstract

The order consolidation process, specifically "sweeping orders," is a critical yet often overlooked upstream activity in Supply Chain Management (SCM). At PT Flexo Solusi Indonesia, reliance on manual spreadsheet-based tools resulted in significant data fragmentation, entry errors, and processing delays, which severely hindered downstream logistics coordination and decision-making. This study aims to address this gap by designing and implementing a web-based sweeping order system integrated with SCM principles. Unlike typical inventory-focused systems, this research conceptually shifts the focus to "pre-processing" data synchronization to ensure early-stage supply chain integrity. The system development followed the Waterfall model, supported by a qualitative case study involving in-depth observation and interviews. To ensure research rigor, the system underwent comprehensive black-box testing and workflow validation, specifically evaluating indicators such as data accuracy, process traceability, and the elimination of redundant entry tasks. The results demonstrate that the centralized system successfully enforces sequential workflow validation, thereby mitigating data inconsistency risks and enhancing information flow between the warehouse, production, and shipping divisions. This study concludes that digitalizing upstream order consolidation is a prerequisite for achieving broader supply chain agility. It contributes to existing SCM literature by providing empirical evidence that operational efficiency is contingent upon the accuracy of initial data processing, serving as a scalable digital transformation blueprint for manufacturing SMEs.

Abstract

Traditional micro-scale retail businesses, such as neighborhood stores, frequently apply promotions uniformly due to limited analytical capacity, leading to inefficient resource use and weak customer retention. Existing promotion recommendation studies predominantly focus on large-scale or online retail settings, leaving a methodological and translational gap in data-driven promotional decision support for micro-scale traditional retail contexts. This study aims to address this gap by developing and evaluating a web-based promotion recommendation system tailored to operational constraints of small neighborhood stores. Customer purchasing behavior is modeled using the Recency, Frequency, and Monetary (RFM) framework, and customer segmentation is performed with the K-Means clustering algorithm. The study utilizes transaction records from 1,043 registered customers comprising 1,500 transactions collected between February and April 2025. Five customer segments are identified, namely VIP customers, frequent buyers, occasional shoppers, at-risk customers, and new customers. Clustering quality is assessed using the Silhouette Score, achieving a value of 0.4464, which indicates moderate cluster cohesion and separation. Promotional performance is evaluated through a pre–post implementation comparison, where the observed 157.09% sales increase reflects an associative improvement rather than a causal estimate of system impact. Analytically, the study contributes a validated customer segmentation pipeline suitable for sparse micro-retail data, while at the system level it delivers an operational web-based decision support tool that translates segmentation results into actionable promotional recommendations. Although practically useful, the evaluation covers one store and a short period, limiting generalizability and causal inference.

Abstract

This study examines trends in international cooperation within Local Government Financial Sustainability (LGFS) research, a discipline that is becoming increasingly significant owing to the financial difficulties encountered by subnational governments and the need for equitable governance in accordance with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Despite ongoing studies, disparities persist in the involvement of industrialized versus developing nations in LGFS research. This study uses bibliometric methodology with 627 Scopus-indexed data from 2007 to 2025 and VOSviewer to illustrate the co-authorship and keyword networks. Richer countries like the US, UK, and Australia are at the heart of the core-periphery structure, according to the research, while underdeveloped countries are mostly unrepresented on the periphery. Prominent writers and advocacy organizations are within European institutions. The Global South provides only limited intellectual guidance. Keyword co-occurrence mapping shows a shift during the COVID-19 epidemic from austerity and accountability to decentralization and governance. This study revealed disparities in worldwide LGFS research networks, potentially benefiting from donor-driven initiatives. It advocates equal co-authorship policies, enhanced training in underrepresented fields, and open-access distribution to promote inclusive knowledge advancement. The results provide guidance for establishing a framework for global and regional cooperation.

Abstract

Broiler farming is a strategically important sector within Indonesia’s national food industry, driven by steadily rising per capita chicken meat consumption. This study aims to (1) evaluate the economic feasibility of the broiler farming enterprise “AA Farm” in Tanggulun Village, Kadungora District, Garut Regency, and (2) formulate a comprehensive marketing strategy to support its sustainable growth. A single-case-study design with a quantitative descriptive approach was employed. Primary data were gathered through in-depth interviews, direct field observations, and structured questionnaires, while secondary data were drawn from company financial records, market reports, and official government publications. Economic feasibility was assessed using Total Cost (TC), Total Revenue (TR), profit (π), Revenue–Cost (R/C) Ratio, and Break-Even Point (BEP) analyses. The findings reveal that “AA Farm” achieves its Break-Even Point at the 17th production cycle (≈17 months), with an annual Return on Investment (ROI) of 47% and an R/C Ratio of 1.40, confirming strong operational profitability. The marketing strategy, built on the Marketing Mix (4P) framework and SWOT analysis, encompasses targeted market segmentation across four consumer groups, cost-plus competitive pricing, a multi-channel distribution system, integrated digital and traditional promotion, and a customer relationship management (CRM) programme. These findings demonstrate that “AA Farm” is economically feasible and possesses substantial potential for sustainable growth when supported by disciplined marketing implementation and modern operational management.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of digital payment adoption on the financial management efficiency of culinary micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) using the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) in Bandung, Indonesia. Amid rapid digitalization, many MSMEs continue to face challenges in transaction recording and cash flow management, despite the potential of digital payment systems to automate and streamline these processes. A quantitative approach with a descriptive-causal design was employed. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire (1–5) administered to 100 culinary MSME owners who actively used QRIS for at least three months, selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis included validity and reliability testing, classical assumption tests (normality, linearity, heteroscedasticity), and simple linear regression. The results show that digital payment adoption has a positive and significant effect on financial management efficiency (β = 0.571, t = 6.884, p < 0.001). The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.326) indicates that 32.6% of the variance in financial management efficiency is explained by digital payment adoption. The use of QRIS automates transaction records, enhances data accuracy, minimizes manual errors, and simplifies reconciliation. Two items (ease of use and frequency of use) were dropped due to a ceiling effect, as active users exhibited homogeneous positive perceptions. This study concludes that QRIS adoption plays a meaningful role in improving MSME financial governance. Practical implications include the need for enhanced digital literacy training for MSME actors and integrated policy design by regulators. Limitations include the cross-sectional design and moderate explanatory power; future research should incorporate mediating variables such as digital financial literacy.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to evaluate the role of digital literacy and training in shaping teachers' self-efficacy and in contributing to the development of digital competencies among high school teachers. Methodology: A quantitative research design was used, employing a correlational survey. Data were collected from 100 high school teachers in East Java through an online questionnaire. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis was performed using SmartPLS 4.0 software to evaluate measurement validity, structural paths, and mediation effects. Main Findings: Digital literacy, training, and self-efficacy have a significant, positive influence on teachers' digital competence. Both digital literacy and training also significantly influence teachers' self-efficacy, although the influence is relatively small. In addition, self-efficacy partially mediates the relationship between digital literacy and training in digital competence, underscoring its strategic role in improving teachers' ability to integrate technology into education. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study offers a new perspective by identifying self-efficacy as a psychological bridge between external support (training) and internal competency development. It enriches current knowledge by integrating personal belief systems into the digital competency framework and provides practical implications for designing more effective teacher professional development programs.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to meticulously explore the moderating effect of financial literacy on the influence of neurotransmitters on investment bias. As a pioneering effort in behavioral finance, this research highlights cognitive and psychological aspects of investors, focusing specifically on female investors, and represents the first study to integrate financial literacy as a moderating variable in the context of neurotransmitter effects. Methodology: A quantitative approach was employed, targeting female stock investors in Indonesia. Purposive sampling was used alongside a semantic differential scale. Data were collected through the distribution of closed-ended questionnaires, preceded by instrument testing and a pre-survey. A total of 581 respondents participated, and data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Main Findings: The main findings reveal that financial literacy negatively affects investment bias, indicating that greater financial knowledge tends to reduce behavioral bias. However, even financially literate individuals may still exhibit bias. Furthermore, neurotransmitter activity shows a significant positive effect on investment bias, suggesting that biological factors amplify biased decision-making. Importantly, financial literacy significantly moderates this relationship in a negative direction, meaning that higher levels of financial understanding weaken the influence of neurotransmitters on investment bias. Novelty/Originality of this study: This research contributes novel insights to the development of behavioral finance theory by introducing financial literacy as a moderating factor in the biological–psychological pathway influencing investment behavior. The practical implications highlight the critical role of financial education in reducing behavioral biases in investment decision-making, especially among female investors.
