Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of shooting angles in running sports photography on the purchase intention of photo works in Surabaya. Visual aesthetics serve as the main focus, emphasizing elements such as shooting angles, composition, expression, moment, and point of interest. Running events today are not only seen as fitness activities but also as a form of self-expression often captured through photography—especially for sharing on social media. This creates a symbiotic relationship between runners and photographers: runners seek compelling documentation, while photographers offer photography services with commercial value. This study adopts a qualitative approach through visual analysis of photographic works. An experimental method was applied by capturing images from various shooting angles—including high angle, eye level, and low angle—to observe consumer responses to the photos. A total of 29 photo buyers at the Surabaya Medic Air Run 2024 were involved to find out their visual preferences. The findings show that the high angle shooting perspective is more favored than the others, as it effectively captures runners’ movement patterns, track layout, and reduces distractions from foreground and background elements. Additionally, appropriate composition, subject expression, and timing significantly enhance the visual appeal of the photos.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a web-based reseller information system at Mutiara Cell with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) approach to answer the needs of digital transformation in improving operational efficiency and managing business relationships. Mutiara Cell is a company that distributes electric credit and digital products that involves many reseller partners, but still faces obstacles in recording transactions, managing data, and reporting finances that are done manually. The system developed is designed to facilitate administrators and resellers in ordering products, uploading proof of payment, managing bills, and reporting sales digitally and in an integrated manner. The development uses a waterfall model with stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing, and uses PHP Native as a programming language and Black Box Testing to ensure system functionality. The results show an increase in operational efficiency, data access speed, and accuracy in transaction management. In addition, the user-friendly interface supports convenience in accessing services, and the CRM approach has been proven to strengthen business relations and increase partner loyalty. This system is considered feasible to use and is a long-term digital solution in supporting operational activities and managing relationships with resellers more professionally.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to meticulously explore the moderating effect of financial literacy on the influence of neurotransmitters on investment bias. As a pioneering effort in behavioral finance, this research highlights cognitive and psychological aspects of investors, focusing specifically on female investors, and represents the first study to integrate financial literacy as a moderating variable in the context of neurotransmitter effects. Methodology: A quantitative approach was employed, targeting female stock investors in Indonesia. Purposive sampling was used alongside a semantic differential scale. Data were collected through the distribution of closed-ended questionnaires, preceded by instrument testing and a pre-survey. A total of 581 respondents participated, and data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Main Findings: The main findings reveal that financial literacy negatively affects investment bias, indicating that greater financial knowledge tends to reduce behavioral bias. However, even financially literate individuals may still exhibit bias. Furthermore, neurotransmitter activity shows a significant positive effect on investment bias, suggesting that biological factors amplify biased decision-making. Importantly, financial literacy significantly moderates this relationship in a negative direction, meaning that higher levels of financial understanding weaken the influence of neurotransmitters on investment bias. Novelty/Originality of this study: This research contributes novel insights to the development of behavioral finance theory by introducing financial literacy as a moderating factor in the biological–psychological pathway influencing investment behavior. The practical implications highlight the critical role of financial education in reducing behavioral biases in investment decision-making, especially among female investors.

Abstract

Network stability is a crucial aspect in supporting the smooth operation of a company. However, many companies still do not have a network monitoring system that can provide automatic notifications when disruptions occur. This community service activity aims to assist partners in implementing an internal network monitoring system based on Uptime Kuma, integrated with a Telegram Bot, to enhance responsiveness to service disruptions. The method used is a participatory applicative approach, with stages of partner needs identification, system monitoring implementation, and system testing. Through the Uptime Kuma dashboard, the network devices to be monitored are manually added by the user. The devices are configured using a ping-based monitoring method, with a check interval of 60 seconds. The test results show that the system is able to detect changes in device status in real-time and send automatic notifications to Telegram without delay. All trials, whether when the device is down or up, were detected consistently and accurately. Thus, the implementation of this system has proven to be effective and efficient in improving the reliability of monitoring the company's IT infrastructure.

Abstract

Production is a value-adding process that transforms raw materials into finished products to meet manufacturing requirements. Association rule analysis serves as a methodological approach to identify relationships between items, particularly in transactional datasets. This analytical method has proven effective in processing exchange data patterns. Analysis of production material usage patterns revealed that when items A and B are utilized, there exists a 50% probability of concurrent item C usage - a significant pattern emerging from transactional data analysis. The study generated association rules for each operational process. Empirical testing through RapidMiner Studio yielded consistent results, demonstrating linear relationships proportional to the modeled scenarios, thereby validating the model's applicability as a decision-making reference. The evaluation of generated association rules through RapidMiner Studio revealed a Lift Ratio value of 1. These results indicate that combinations meeting or exceeding a Lift Ratio threshold of 1 demonstrate statistical validity and practical utility.
