Abstract

This study examines the digitalization of the concept of Mawaddah wa Rahmah in the Qur'an and Hadith as a family psychology strategy to build harmonious households in Bucor Wetan Village, Probolinggo Regency. With a population of approximately 4,000 people, the village faces challenges in applying the values of love and mercy in daily family life. The research employs a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, involving in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that digitalization through Islamic value-based educational media, such as interactive videos and family education applications, plays a significant role in raising public awareness of the importance of Mawaddah wa Rahmah. These digital media are effective in improving communication patterns, managing conflicts, and strengthening relationships among family members. Despite challenges such as limited internet access and digital literacy, training programs conducted during the research helped address these obstacles. The study concludes that integrating Islamic values with digital technology can be an innovative and effective solution for creating harmonious and prosperous families. This approach facilitates social transformation that supports peaceful family life, especially in rural communities like Bucor Wetan Village.

Abstract

This article examines the role of the values of the Qur'an and Hadith in shaping a work ethic relevant to the challenges of the modern era. Using a multidimensional approach, this paper explores how the integration of Islamic teachings can strengthen professionalism, spirituality, innovation, social balance, and sustainability in the life of a Muslim in the workforce. The study focuses on the revitalization of fundamental Islamic values that emphasize the importance of hard work (Ijtihad), trustworthiness, integrity, and justice as the foundation of a productive work ethic. Additionally, this study highlights how these values can inspire innovation and strengthen the balance between worldly and spiritual life (dunya and akhirah) in an era characterized by rapid change and numerous challenges. By linking Islamic principles with the professional needs of the global context, this article offers a new perspective on the relevance of religious teachings in supporting individual and organizational success, while also fostering social harmony within modern Muslim societies.

Abstract

This study examines the virtues of knowledge and the classification of education based on the perspectives of two prominent Islamic scholars, Al-Ghazali and Ibn Qayyim, grounded in the framework of the Qur'an and Hadith. Islam assigns a distinguished position to knowledge, as reflected in Qur'anic verses such as Al-Mujadilah 11, which promises elevated ranks for those who believe and possess knowledge, and the supplication for increased knowledge in Thaha 114. In Hadith, knowledge is likened to beneficial milk that must be shared with others. Al-Ghazali emphasizes the importance of knowledge as a path to happiness in both this world and the hereafter, while Ibn Qayyim highlights the role of knowledge in drawing closer to Allah and shaping a complete human character. This research employs a literature review method to explore the concepts of the virtues of knowledge and education in Islam through the perspectives of Al-Ghazali and Ibn Qayyim. The findings reveal that both scholars present complementary views on the value of knowledge as an act of worship that brings one closer to Allah SWT, while categorizing knowledge based on its benefits for individuals and society. This study underscores that seeking knowledge is an obligation for every Muslim and a path to paradise, as affirmed in the Qur'an and Hadith. These findings provide valuable contributions to the development of Islamic education, particularly in instilling the virtues of knowledge in modern educational curricula.

Abstract

This study aims to apply the concept of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in addressing bullying, both verbal and non-verbal, at Zainul Hasan Genggong Islamic Boarding School. This research also examines the forms of implementing the PAI concept as a preventive measure against bullying, as well as the factors that support and hinder its implementation. The approach used in this study is qualitative with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, involving various informants such as the boarding school leaders, counselors, and students. The results show that the PAI concept is implemented through the formation of noble character based on the teachings of the Qur'an and the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad SAW. The implementation of the PAI concept at Zainul Hasan Genggong Islamic Boarding School includes character development for students, improving social cohesion, fostering manners, providing educational punishments, rewards, and role modeling. Supporting factors include full support from the boarding school administration and involvement of student guardians, while challenges include resistance from some students toward behavior changes and limited resources. The study concludes that the implementation of the PAI concept has successfully created a safer and more conducive boarding school environment, reducing bullying practices among students.

Abstract

This research investigates the connection between faith and knowledge as outlined in Surah Al-Mujadalah, particularly focusing on the two key conditions for attaining higher ranks in the sight of Allah SWT: tafassuh fil majlis (creating space in gatherings) and bersegera dalam melakukan kebaikan (rushing to do good deeds). These principles emphasize that faith and knowledge should not be mere theoretical concepts but must be reflected in practical actions that benefit society and align with Islamic values. The analysis uses a tafsir approach and social context to elucidate how these conditions serve as indicators of true faith and knowledge. By examining relevant scholarly opinions and historical contexts, this paper explains the significance of these conditions in fostering social harmony and personal development, ultimately leading to spiritual elevation. Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the values of the Qur'an and the Hadith of the Prophet in the daily lives of students at MTs. Raudlatul Hasaniyah, Mojolegi Gading Probolinggo. The primary focus of this research is to explore how the values contained in the Qur'an and Hadith are applied in students' everyday lives, particularly in the spiritual, social, and moral aspects. A qualitative approach using a case study method was employed, with data gathered through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the implementation of Qur'anic and Hadith values at MTs. Raudlatul Hasaniyah is carried out effectively through various educational programs and initiatives based on Islamic teachings. These values are applied in both academic learning, extracurricular activities, and students' daily life within the school environment. The positive impacts experienced by students include improved moral character, discipline, and a deeper understanding of Islamic teachings. This research is expected to contribute to the development of Islamic education based on Qur'anic and Hadith values in shaping a generation with strong character.

Abstract

This study examines efforts to strengthen Islamic traditions at Ma'had Putri Nurul Hasan MAN 2 Probolinggo as an important part of building the character of religious, disciplined, and noble students. The Islamic traditions implemented include various routine activities such as studying the yellow book, dhikr together, reading the maulid, praying in congregation, and other daily practices. These activities are designed not only to strengthen students' understanding of Islamic teachings but also to create a spiritual environment that supports character formation based on Islamic values. With a qualitative-descriptive approach, this study describes in depth the implementation of Islamic traditions, the challenges faced, and their impact on the formation of students' characters. The results of the study show that strengthening Islamic traditions at Ma'had Putri Nurul Hasan not only succeeded in forming the religious character of students but also had a positive influence on their social and emotional lives. Traditions such as studying the yellow book using the bandongan and sorogan methods, as well as the integration of Islamic-based activities in the education curriculum, have been proven to be able to improve the discipline, responsibility, and social awareness of students. On the other hand, this study also found significant challenges in the implementation of Islamic traditions, including the influence of modernization and globalization that bring popular cultural values ​​that are less in line with Islamic teachings, limited infrastructure, and lack of family involvement in supporting Islamic education. This study concluded that despite facing various challenges, Islamic traditions at Ma'had Putri Nurul Hasan can remain relevant by adopting an innovative and collaborative approach. The use of digital technology, increasing teacher capacity, and strengthening synergy with families and the community are strategic steps that can support the sustainability of this program. Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the implementation of Al-Qur'an and Hadith messages in daily life at SMKN 1 Probolinggo. Through a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research explores how Islamic values are applied in school routines, including by students, teachers, and educational staff. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that the Al-Qur'an and Hadith messages serve as the foundation for shaping students' character, particularly in terms of discipline, hard work, and honesty. Routines such as congregational prayer, weekly religious studies, and the application of noble character values are concrete evidence of the integration of Islamic teachings into the school's education system. This study provides practical and theoretical contributions to the development of an Islamic values-based education model.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efforts of MTs Miftahul Khoir Alastengah Besuk in fostering a generation of excellent character through social transformation based on education, religious values, and collaboration with the community. The main focus of this research is to explore how the school integrates moral and social values into its education to shape students' character, ensuring they are not only academically competent but also disciplined, responsible, and capable of working together. The research method used is a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings show that education at MTs Miftahul Khoir focuses not only on academic teaching but also on character development through active involvement of parents and the community. This collaboration is reflected in various social activities and community service programs, which provide students with opportunities to develop social skills and strengthen their relationships with the surrounding environment. In conclusion, the social transformation at MTs Miftahul Khoir successfully creates a generation that is not only academically intelligent but also possesses strong character and is ready to contribute positively to society. This study highlights the importance of synergy between formal education, local values, and community collaboration in creating an educational ecosystem that supports students' overall development.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the Arabic language learning system at the Center for Foreign Language Studies (PSBA) of Zainul Hasan Islamic University (UNZAH) Genggong Probolinggo. Currently, there is a growing public interest in learning Arabic due to its significance in addressing various complex issues in the contemporary world. Numerous educational institutions are actively involved in the development and implementation of Arabic language education, both formally and informally. One such institution is Zainul Hasan Islamic University (UNZAH) Genggong Probolinggo, which has established the Center for Foreign Language Studies (PSBA) on its campus. This research is a qualitative field study utilizing a multidisciplinary approach, encompassing pedagogical, normative theological, juridical, sociological, and psychological aspects. The study results indicate that PSBA UNZAH Genggong offers courses in seven languages: English, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, and German, for students who wish to deepen and develop their skills through an institution specifically established for the development of foreign languages, particularly Arabic. The learning system at PSBA UNZAH Genggong is a non-credit program managed by the Language Development Institute, aimed at students interested in advancing their Arabic language proficiency. PSBA UNZAH Genggong currently lacks a standardized curriculum, syllabus, or guidebook; its teaching materials are tentative and subject to change annually based on management policies. The learning model involves simultaneous classes held on the same day and time for each group, without any shifts in teaching hours or days by lecturers. This course program also does not confine learning strictly to the classroom. PSBA UNZAH Genggong has successfully enhanced the Arabic language skills of its students and produced competent Arabic language experts. The increase in achievements in Arabic language competitions, such as speeches, debates, and taqdimul qisshoh, at both district and national levels, demonstrates the improvement in students' Arabic language proficiency.
