Abstract

This study explores the intellectual structure of life cycle approaches in human resource management (HRM) and their impact on organizational competitiveness through a comprehensive bibliometric analysis. A total of seven Scopus-indexed publications were analyzed using performance analysis and science mapping tools, specifically VOSviewer. Findings reveal an emerging and fragmented research field characterized by dispersed authorship and globally distributed contributions. Key themes identified include competency development, performance optimization, sustainability, and digital transformation, highlighting the interdisciplinary integration of HRM with engineering, environmental management, and technological innovation. The analysis also indicates limited theoretical consolidation, with no dominant authors or institutions. The study concludes that HRM life cycle approaches hold significant potential for enhancing organizational competitiveness but require further theoretical integration and empirical research. Recommendations emphasize developing integrated HRM life cycle models, strengthening alignment with digital and sustainability goals, and promoting international and cross-industry research collaborations.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a comprehensive Teacher CPD (Continuous Professional Development) model integrating the TPACK framework with attitude and character knowledge. The model addressed both cognitive competencies, such as pedagogical, technological, and content knowledge, and non-cognitive competencies, including attitude and character traits. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative data from a survey of 1,012 teachers across Indonesia with qualitative data from interviews. The findings reveal that teachers prioritize pedagogical, professional, social, and personality competencies, while also emphasizing the importance of attitude and character for effective teaching. Teachers with strong character traits, such as empathy, responsibility, and integrity, were found to be more effective in integrating technology and fostering positive classroom environments. The study highlights the need for CPD programs to focus on both technical skills and emotional intelligence, offering a more holistic approach to teacher development in the digital age.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of religious education policies through an empirical analysis of a Qur'anic program (Sekolah Mengaji) in Indonesia. Using a qualitative research design, the study incorporates in-depth interviews with Islamic Religious Education teachers and observations in seven public junior secondary schools in Bandung regency. The findings reveal that religious education policy is enacted through a multi-layered process influenced by teacher agency, school culture, family involvement, and governance, rather than a direct translation of formal regulations. While policy implementation yielded positive outcomes in Qur'anic literacy and religious habituation, deeper character internalization remained inconsistent and context dependent. Key mechanisms such as teacher role modeling, interpersonal relationships, and instructional discretion were identified as central to linking policy intentions with daily practices. This study offers a model for understanding policy implementation variation across schools and contributes to the scholarship by focusing on the practical mechanisms that shape religious education policies.

Abstract

Competition among senior high schools in Indonesia is intensifying, thus encouraging Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN), as a state Islamic senior high school, to adopt more systematic, transparent, and accountable strategies to maintain institutional credibility and stakeholder engagement in an increasingly competitive educational environment. This study aims to analyze the strategic role of the 7P marketing mix: Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Process, and Physical Evidence in shaping competitive advantage in state Islamic senior high schools. This study used a quantitative, explanatory design and was conducted at one of the madrasas in Bogor Regency, West Java. Data were collected through a structured, validated questionnaire administered to 203 11th-grade students, who were the primary users of academic and non-academic services. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and multiple linear regression to test the partial and simultaneous relationships between marketing mix dimensions and competitive advantage. The results show that the 7P marketing mix model simultaneously explains a significant proportion of the variance in competitive advantage (R² = 0.634). Although all 7P dimensions have a positive and significant relationship, Process, Physical Evidence, and Product emerged as the most dominant predictors. This finding confirms that competitive advantage in public Islamic senior high schools is determined not only by academic achievement, but also by the quality of governance, educational service systems, physical learning environments, curriculum coherence, and an organizational culture aligned with Islamic values. This study confirms the relevance of the 7P marketing mix as an effective managerial framework and recommends strengthening process-based governance, developing infrastructure, and integrating the curriculum to support institutional sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of a quality management model using the SYNTHESIS Framework approach in association universities. This study was conducted in the province of West Java, an area known as one of the centers of higher education in Indonesia. West Java has a number of Association Universities that play an important role in providing quality education for the community. From a planning and implementation perspective, there is a positive trend toward a more systematic, participatory, and values-based quality management system. The quality planning process at institutions such as Halim Sanusi University and STEBI PUI Bogor has begun to be directed beyond meeting administrative demands to become rooted in a holistic and contextual institutional vision. In terms of planning, quality policies have been strategically designed to accommodate the direction of institutional development, stakeholder needs, and national accreditation requirements. This planning is characterized by the involvement of leaders, quality assurance units, and various elements of the academic community through deliberation forums, quality workshops, and integration into the strategic plan (Renstra) and annual work program. This demonstrates efforts to synchronize quality planning documents with actual implementation in the field. Meanwhile, from an implementation perspective, it was found that quality policies in several units have begun to be implemented using a systems-based approach and a continuous quality improvement cycle. However, implementation still faces challenges such as gaps in human resource capacity, limitations in information technology, and inconsistencies in quality control across all levels. Nevertheless, the collective spirit to implement a culture of quality has grown and continues to be strengthened through training, coaching, and regular monitoring and evaluation. The policy system for integrated quality management at the Association of Higher Education Institutions has shown significant progress, particularly in terms of institutional awareness and strengthening the quality structure. However, the full success of this policy depends heavily on consistent implementation, increased human resource capacity, and a long-term commitment to cultivating quality as an integral part of higher education management

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to examine the Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework as a conceptual foundation for developing a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) model for teachers that is adaptive, collaborative, and sustainable. The study employs a qualitative approach using a literature-based research design, drawing on international scholarly articles, policy documents, and research reports published between 2020 and 2025 related to teacher professional development, TPACK, flexible delivery, and learning communities. Data were analyzed using thematic and content analysis to identify key patterns, conceptual gaps, and directions for model development. The findings indicate that effective CPD requires integration of technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge supported by flexible multimodal delivery and professional learning communities to ensure relevance and sustainability. Furthermore, the literature reveals a conceptual gap in existing CPD models, which often overlook the role of teachers’ professional attitudes and character in sustaining pedagogical change. Based on these findings, this study proposes an extended TPACK framework (TPACK-ChA) that integrates attitude and character knowledge as a basis for developing a more comprehensive CPD model for teachers. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kerangka Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) sebagai dasar konseptual dalam pengembangan model Pengembangan Kompetensi Berkelanjutan (PKB) bagi guru yang adaptif, kolaboratif, dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kepustakaan, dengan sumber data berupa artikel jurnal ilmiah internasional, dokumen kebijakan, dan laporan penelitian periode 2020–2025 yang relevan dengan PKB guru, TPACK, pendekatan flexible delivery, dan komunitas belajar. Analisis data dilakukan melalui analisis tematik dan analisis isi untuk mengidentifikasi pola temuan, kesenjangan konseptual, serta arah pengembangan model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PKB yang efektif memerlukan integrasi pengetahuan teknologi, pedagogik, dan konten yang didukung oleh pendekatan multimoda yang fleksibel serta komunitas belajar profesional untuk menjamin keberlanjutan implementasi. Temuan studi literatur juga mengungkap bahwa sebagian besar model PKB belum mengintegrasikan dimensi sikap profesional dan karakter guru secara eksplisit. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini mengusulkan pengembangan kerangka TPACK yang diperluas dengan integrasi pengetahuan sikap dan karakter (TPACK-ChA) sebagai dasar pengembangan model PKB guru yang lebih komprehensif. Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study is to analyze the influence of the Implementation of the Sekolah Mengaji Policy on the Competence of Ngaji Teachers and the Religious Character of Students, as well as to examine the mediating role of in the relationship between and. This quantitative research utilizes an explanatory survey design, involving 260 students and 20 teachers in Bandung Regency, and was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results demonstrate that the Implementation of the Sekolah Mengaji Policy has a positive and significant influence on the Competence of Ngaji Teachers (path coefficient = 0.824; ρ =0.000), and also has a direct, positive, and significant influence on the Religious Character of Student (path coefficient = 0.353; ρ =0.000). Furthermore, the Competence of Ngaji Teachers is proven to have a positive and significant influence on the Religious Character of Students (path coefficient = 0.548; ρ =0.000). The main conclusion is that both the Sekolah Mengaji Policy and the Competence of Ngaji Teachers are important factors that contribute significantly to the formation of students' religious character. However, the indirect influence of on through was not statistically significant (coefficient = 0.005; ρ =0.610$). Therefore, it is recommended that policymakers evaluate and strengthen program implementation, with particular attention to enhancing the role of Ngaji teachers as mediators in value education. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh Implementasi Kebijakan Sekolah Mengaji terhadap Kompetensi Guru Ngaji dan Karakter Religius Peserta Didik, sekaligus menguji peran mediasi dalam hubungan antara dan. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan desain explanatory survey dengan melibatkan 260 siswa dan 20 guru di Kabupaten Bandung, dan dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling berbasis Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi Kebijakan Sekolah Mengaji berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kompetensi Guru Ngaji (koefisien jalur = 0,824; ρ =0,000), dan juga berpengaruh positif signifikan secara langsung terhadap Karakter Religius Peserta Didik (koefisien jalur = 0,353; ρ =0,000). Selain itu, Kompetensi Guru Ngaji terbukti berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Karakter Religius Peserta Didik (koefisien jalur = 0,548; ρ =0,000). Simpulan utama adalah bahwa baik Kebijakan Sekolah Mengaji maupun Kompetensi Guru Ngaji merupakan faktor penting yang berkontribusi signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter religius siswa, meskipun pengaruh tidak langsung terhadap melalui belum signifikan secara statistik (koefisien = 0,005; ρ =0,610$). Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar pemangku kebijakan mengevaluasi dan memperkuat implementasi program, dengan memberikan perhatian khusus pada penguatan peran guru ngaji sebagai mediator dalam pendidikan nilai. Abstract

Abstract: The transformation of higher education institutions is inseparable from the role of leaders capable of driving change in a visionary, inclusive, and sustainable manner. Responding to this need, the present study explores how transformational leadership shapes and strengthens organizational development within universities, with a focus on Universitas Djuanda Bogor and Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang. A qualitative exploratory approach was employed to capture the meanings, values, and leadership practices through in-depth interviews, document analysis, and data triangulation. Thematic analysis supported by NVivo 15 was used to identify patterns, categories, and core themes within the dynamics of leadership and organizational change. The findings reveal that transformational leadership enhances institutional performance through practices of humanism, role modeling, two-way communication, and the cultivation of a collaborative–innovative culture. This leadership model also strengthens the institution’s adaptive capacity toward national policies such as IKU and MBKM through structural flexibility, policy alignment, and strategic networking. The study additionally identifies constructive collaboration patterns among lecturers, students, and stakeholders, as well as the development of a prototype dashboard-based leadership measurement system. It concludes that transformational leadership serves as a strategic foundation for building adaptive, innovative, and competitive higher education institutions. Recommendations include enhancing leadership development programs, fostering collaborative cultures, implementing comprehensive leadership evaluation systems, and expanding reputation-building strategies grounded in social impact. Abstrak: Transformasi perguruan tinggi tidak dapat dilepaskan dari peran pemimpin yang mampu menggerakkan perubahan secara visioner, inklusif, dan berkelanjutan. Berangkat dari kebutuhan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi bagaimana kepemimpinan transformasional membentuk dan memperkuat pengembangan organisasi perguruan tinggi, dengan studi pada Universitas Djuanda Bogor dan Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang. Pendekatan kualitatif eksploratif digunakan untuk menangkap makna, nilai, dan praktik kepemimpinan melalui wawancara mendalam, analisis dokumen, serta triangulasi data. Analisis tematik berbantuan NVivo 15 digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi pola, kategori, dan tema utama dalam dinamika kepemimpinan dan perubahan organisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional mendorong peningkatan kinerja institusi melalui praktik humanisme, keteladanan, komunikasi dua arah, dan penciptaan budaya kolaboratif–inovatif. Kepemimpinan ini juga memperkuat kapasitas adaptif organisasi terhadap kebijakan nasional seperti IKU dan MBKM melalui fleksibilitas struktural, sinkronisasi kebijakan, dan jejaring strategis. Penelitian juga menemukan pola kolaborasi dosen–mahasiswa–stakeholder yang konstruktif serta pengembangan prototipe sistem pengukuran kepemimpinan berbasis dashboard digital. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional merupakan fondasi strategis bagi terwujudnya organisasi perguruan tinggi yang adaptif, inovatif, dan berdaya saing. Direkomendasikan agar perguruan tinggi memperkuat program pengembangan kepemimpinan, membangun budaya kolaboratif, mengimplementasikan sistem evaluasi kepemimpinan yang komprehensif, dan memperluas strategi reputasi berbasis dampak sosial. The results demonstrate that the Implementation of the Sekolah Mengaji Policy has a positive and significant influence on the Competence of Ngaji Teachers (path coefficient = 0.824; ρ =0.000), and also has a direct, positive, and significant influence on the Religious Character of Student (path coefficient = 0.353; ρ =0.000). Furthermore, the Competence of Ngaji Teachers is proven to have a positive and significant influence on the Religious Character of Students (path coefficient = 0.548; ρ =0.000). The main conclusion is that both the Sekolah Mengaji Policy and the Competence of Ngaji Teachers are important factors that contribute significantly to the formation of students' religious character. However, the indirect influence of on through was not statistically significant (coefficient = 0.005; ρ =0.610$). Therefore, it is recommended that policymakers evaluate and strengthen program implementation, with particular attention to enhancing the role of Ngaji teachers as mediators in value education. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh Implementasi Kebijakan Sekolah Mengaji terhadap Kompetensi Guru Ngaji dan Karakter Religius Peserta Didik, sekaligus menguji peran mediasi dalam hubungan antara dan. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan desain explanatory survey dengan melibatkan 260 siswa dan 20 guru di Kabupaten Bandung, dan dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling berbasis Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi Kebijakan Sekolah Mengaji berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kompetensi Guru Ngaji (koefisien jalur = 0,824; ρ =0,000), dan juga berpengaruh positif signifikan secara langsung terhadap Karakter Religius Peserta Didik (koefisien jalur = 0,353; ρ =0,000). Selain itu, Kompetensi Guru Ngaji terbukti berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Karakter Religius Peserta Didik (koefisien jalur = 0,548; ρ =0,000). Simpulan utama adalah bahwa baik Kebijakan Sekolah Mengaji maupun Kompetensi Guru Ngaji merupakan faktor penting yang berkontribusi signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter religius siswa, meskipun pengaruh tidak langsung terhadap melalui belum signifikan secara statistik (koefisien = 0,005; ρ =0,610$). Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar pemangku kebijakan mengevaluasi dan memperkuat implementasi program, dengan memberikan perhatian khusus pada penguatan peran guru ngaji sebagai mediator dalam pendidikan nilai.
