One of the universities that is intensified to conduct research in producing innovative products is Andalas University (UNAND). Andalas University has 83 innovative products, including Gambier products from processing in the Teaching Industry Gambier UNAND. These processed Gambier products have not all been successfully commercialized. The obstacle usually experienced is that inventors need help knowing how to commercialize the product and whether the product has innovated. This study aims to determine the level of innovation readiness of three products in the Gambier sector that have never been studied before. Data collection was carried out through interviews with each product inventor and filling out questionnaires on the Katsinov Meter measuring instrument. Analysis of the measurement results was carried out using a fishbone diagram. Based on measurements, Fitopure (+)- Catechin and Unca Tea products are at Katsinov level 4 and level 2, respectively. Meanwhile, the scrub of Gambier products did not pass any Katsinov level. Some of the causes are that there is no business model concept, the Company has yet to conduct market research, it has not finished identifying market expansion needs, and it has not finished assessing technological and financial risks. Suggestions that can be given are that the Company needs to form a business model concept, conduct market research, expand the market, and assess technological and financial risks

In this increasingly advanced era of globalization, more and more manufacturing and service companies are developing which brings intense competition for companies to be able to maintain the company's establishment. IKM Heppy Bakery is one of the bread production companies that is experiencing this competition. For the realization of companies that can compete in the era of globalization, highly competent resources are also needed. The impact of this competition causes more work demands and causes workload effects both physically and mentally on employee performance. Based on this, a mental workload study was conducted to determine the amount of mental workload of employees using the NASA-TLX method. Based on calculations using the NASA-TLX method, it was found that the level of mental workload on bread packaging at IKM Heppy Bakery was included in the very high category with 4 workers having a very high workload category and there were also 2 workers with a high workload category. The average WWL score on bread packaging is 82. For this condition, it is deemed necessary to have an evaluation accompanied by an improvement in the work system or reward to foster motivation and enthusiasm and reduce stress for Heppy Bakery's bread packaging employees.

PT. XYZ is a manufacturing company engaged in the production of cables and conductors such as busbars. Busbar is a copper bar used to distribute electric power. The problem that occurs at PT. X is that there are still reject products in the busbar production The reject criteria found are as follows: bent busbar, scratched visual, oxidized visual, cracked visual during bending test. This aims of this research are to reduce the total rejects in busbar products by proposing improvements to the busbar production process using the six-sigma method. The data used in this study consisted of primary data (results of discussions with production managers, quality control managers and engineering staff and research in field) and secondary data types and total rejects within 21 months. The results of this research found that at the define stage scratched busbar and bent busbar are the dominant type of busbar that will be improved in this research. At the measure stage, the company sigma value is 3.607. This result can be used to propose quality improvement for the busbar production process whisch is obtained so that the company can reduce the number of defective products and improve product quality.

Regarding criticism and suggestions from consumers, it shows that of the 881,140 products sold, there are 22,947 products that are considered manufacturing defects, with an average percentage of defective products per month of 2.71%, with several types of defects submitted by consumers through the survey. This is quite serious because it will provide a bad experience to consumers in using this product. Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) is a method used to evaluate system design by considering existing failure modes in a machine or equipment component system and analyzing the consequences for the reliability of the system. Based on the method used, it was found that the highest RPN value was in a case of disability, namely causing itching, with an RPN value of 504, consisting of a severity value of 9, occurrence of 7 and detection of 8, with a percentage of RPN occurrences of 35%. Beased on this result, it proposes improvements to the priority types of product defects and other product defects.

This research aims to collect data nationally using a questionnaire based on statements related to the performance factors of the Technology Business Incubator in Indonesia. This research uses the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method to test the validity and reliability of adapted scales. There are five stages starting with an outer model test to test the validity and reliability of the questionnaire's feasibility. The population in this research are organizations that are affiliated with the Indonesian Business Incubator Association (AIBI) and Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, including business incubators belonging to ministries, local governments, the private sector and universities, there are 182 Technology Business Incubators in Indonesia. Testing in this research looks at whether the questions in the questionnaire are valid or not by going through two stages of convergent validity and discriminant validity. The first stage is convergent validity that aim of finding out the correlation between indicators and their latent variables. The second stage is discriminant validity which aims to find out whether the latent variable has adequate discriminant value and this was done to find out whether the statement items in the questionnaire were reliable and consistent in measuring the same symptoms in respondents. This research looks at the results of convergent validity analysis to consider the results of factor loading indicators on relevant factors, the results of testing the validity of all factors with a value greater than 0.50, one of which is an AVE value of 0.550, indicating that the indicators in these variables have a strong contribution in measuring the desired construct, and the reliability test of all variables is reliable because it exceeds 0.70, one of which is the facility variable which has a value of 0.858.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi User Interface (UI) dan User Experience (UX) pada PT. XYZ. Perancangan ini berfokus pada desain sistem informasi yang tersedia dalam website Camille Beauty, mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pengguna terkait dengan UI dan UX dalam sistem informasi perusahaan, merancang perbaikan dan pengembangan UI dan UX yang lebih baik, serta menganalisis sistem informasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas UI dan UX. Hasil penelitian yang telah didapatkan adalah perancangan UI dan UX yang baik sangat penting dalam menciptakan pengalaman pengguna yang memuaskan. Tata letak yang intuitif, navigasi yang mudah dipahami, penggunaan warna dan visual yang tepat, serta responsivitas terhadap perangkat mobile merupakan faktor penting untuk memastikan pengguna dapat dengan mudah mengakses informasi dan produk yang ditawarkan oleh Camille Beauty dan pemodelan UML membantu dalam memahami struktur dan alur kerja sistem. Diagram use case, class, sequence, dan activity membantu menggambarkan interaksi pengguna dengan sistem, struktur data yang diperlukan, urutan tindakan, dan alur kerja yang terlibat. Pemodelan UML dapat menjadi panduan yang berguna dalam pengembangan dan pemeliharaan website Camille Beauty.

Pengembangan produk baru penting dilakukan karena sangat erat kaitannya akan keberlangsungan bertahannya produk tersebut. Dengan melakukan pengembangan produk berdasarkan preferensi konsumen, peluang produk bertahan lama akan lebih besar. Sehingga minat pelanggan akan semakin meningkat begitu pula dengan penjualan yang semakin tinggi. Salah satu produk inovasi yang dilakukan oleh tim dosen Science Techno Park Universitas Andalas ialah Roti Sorgum Vla Dadih. Roti ini sangat kaya akan gizi hingga memiliki banyak manfaat di antaranya dapat mencegah stunting, menurunkan berat badan, dan juga mencegah kadar gula darah. Produk ini hanya memiliki satu varian yaitu roti sorgum yang didampingi dengan vla dadih. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan pengembangan produk baru yang mempertimbangkan preferensi konsumen pada produk Roti Sorgum Vla Dadih.Pengembangan produk baru pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Conjoint Analysis untuk memperoleh kombinasi atribut dan level berdasarkan preferensi konsumen. Selanjutnya digunakan Tabulasi Silang dengan pendekatan Uji Chi-Square untuk memprediksi keinginan konsumen membeli produk Roti Sorgum Vla Dadih. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, diperoleh bahwa terdapat lima atribut penting oleh konsumen dalam pengembangan produk roti yaitu atribut rasa, atribut tekstur, atribut kemasan, atribut topping, dan atribut kandungan gizi. Berdasarkan atribut dan level yang dianggap penting oleh konsumen diperoleh 25 kombinasi produk roti. Kombinasi produk terbaik yaitu rasa vla coklat dengan tekstur crunchy dan kemasan yang praktis. Topping yang dipilih pada kombinasi produk roti terbaik ini ialah keju dengan kandungan gizi rendah kalori. Selanjutnya diperoleh minat beli responden yang cukup tinggi baik berdasarkan pekerjaan maupun riwayat terakhir responden mengonsumsi roti. Responden yang bekerja sebagai karyawan memiliki persentase paling tinggi dibanding yang lainnya yaitu 53% dan responden dengan riwayat mengonsumsi roti lebih 3 bulan atau lebih memiliki persentase pasti akan membeli “Roti Sorgum Vla Dadih” sebesar 51%. Hal ini memungkinkan konsumen roti lainnya akan berpindah ke produk “Roti Sorgum Vla Dadih” melihat besarnya persentase responden pada skala pasti akan beli.

Andalas University has a business incubator unit called the Technology Business Incubator (InBisTek) Andalas University. This study aims to formulate Key Performance Indicators and measure the performance of Inbistek Andalas University in assisting tenants. Performance measurement is carried out using the Balanced Scorecard method which consists of: on four perspectives namely internal business process perspective, growth and learning perspective, financial perspective, and tenants perspective. Performance measurement is carried out using data obtained from direct observation, questionnaires, and interview directly with the Andalas University Inbistek. KPI formulation is followed by a validation step,so that 31 selected KPIs were obtained. Furthermore, the selected KPIs are continued with weighting to determine the level interest in each KPI through a pairwise comparison questionnaire with the Analytical Hierarchy Process method. Then the performance measurement is carried out according to the perspective on the Balanced Scorecard. Obtained results of performance measurement Andalas University Institute of Technology as a whole is 3.4 which is included in the good category. Based on the results performance measurement, there are 5 KPIs with poor performance category, 5 KPIs with fairly good performance category, 12 KPIs withgood performance category, and 9 KPIs with very good performance category.

PT XYZ is a manufacturing company in the automotive sector that produces vehicles and their components. Its production process generates hazardous and toxic (B3) waste classified as fast moving due to its high volume and frequency. This study aims to determine the standard time for the management process of iron gram B3 waste at PT XYZ. Observations were conducted over 15 cycles, with time recorded at each stage using the stopwatch time study method and adjustments based on the Westinghouse technique. The study was carried out across eight stages of the B3 waste management process at PT XYZ, involving calculations of cycle time, normal time, and standard time. The analysis revealed that the total standard time for the entire process is 42 minutes and 18 seconds. Establishing this standard time supports improved efficiency, prevents waste accumulation, and creates a more structured waste management system that can be periodically evaluated.

Inventory of finished goods needs to be planned and controlled regularly. Fulfilling customer demand whenever and wherever is the main purpose of the supply. This issue is related to production activities. Many companies use the Economic Production Quantity (EPQ) Model in determining the size of their lot productions. This model is able to show how to minimize total production costs by reducing inventory costs. Customer behavior at PT XYZ makes product delivery divided into 2 types. The first type, finished goods is sent continuously in small amounts called continue demand. The second type, products is sent between certain time intervals in large quantities called discrete demand. Basic EPQ Model’s parameters do not accommodate a system like this. In addition, PT XYZ requires rework for products that do not pass the quality test. Therefore, this research was developed to formulate EPQ model that can accommodate two types of demand, continue and discrete, as well as the existence of rework policy. This study tries to provide another approach in solving the derivation problem using the "Arithmetic-Geometric Mean" method. The results of this study will display a mathematical formulation to find the optimal production cycle time for PT XYZ. Numerical examples are discussed to show practical models.
