Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research is based on the researcher’s interest about the characters’ internal conflict in the novel Cinta-Mu Seluas Samudra by Gol A Gong. Internal conflict occurs because of the individuals are unable or untrained in controlling their emotions, common sense, or mind and conscience toward their problems in life. As for the research problem, it is the internal conflict in the novel Cinta-Mu Seluas Samudra by Gol A Gong that every character experiences. The research method used is descriptive with qualitative design and behavioristic approach. The research data are words or phrases, sentences and paragraphs that depict the formulation of problems in this research. The source of data is the novel Cinta-Mu Seluas Samudra and the research tool which is the researcher as main instrument. The result of this research is that internal conflict of the main and side characters that comprises of pent-up guilt/guilt, self-condemnation, shame, sadness, hatred, fear, regret, stress, hope, confusion, anxiety, upset, heartache, jealousy, trauma, heartbreak, dislikeness and anger. This research may be used as a reference to teaching material for Indonesian language teacher at the second semester in twelfth grade foor KD 3.9 and KD 4.9. The suggestion for next research is to analyze other aspects such as educational values in this novel.Keywords: Analysis, Internal Conflict, Novel

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study examined the feasibility of Indonesian learning tools made by teachers of private MTs Pontianak at the times of covid-19 pamdemic. Based on the results of the study, the teacher already made several good learning tools,however there were still  shortcomings in certain components. The method used was descriptive qualitative research. The results of the study showed that the tools made by teachers of private MTs Pontianak that were good, there were lesson plan, teaching materials, learning media and evaluations (the questions made by teachers). However there will still some improvement needed in several components of the learning tools, such as school units, the core activity that were still the same from the first until the final meeting, and also the assessment rubric. Nevertheless, this study will alleviate teachers to prepare learning tools for the use of school accreditation, achieving school's vision and mission in the academic field and improving the quality of education in school. Keywords : Indonesian, Pontianak, The Feasibility of Learning Tools

Abstract

 This study is based on the importance of conducting an in-dept study of the characters of Ne’ Baruakng Kulup story of Dayak Kanayatn’s oral literature. This story narrates an attempt made by Baruakng to bring paddy into the earth which was full of obstacles so that he was named Ne’ Baruakng Kulup. The life dynamic of Baruakng is interesting to study more in-depth by using the study of narrative structure based on the thinking of A.J. Greimas. This qualitative study was focused on three important elements, namely: (1) the actantial scheme and functional structure in the story of Ne’ Baruakng Kulup; (2) the correlation between the actantial scheme and the functional structure in the story of Ne’ Baruakng Kulup; and (3) Compiling a lecture plan of the Prose Study by applying the results of Actantial study on the story of Ne’ Baruakng Kulup. The results of this study indicate that there are 14 actantial schemes and 14 functional structures. Four actant schemes and 4 perfect functional structures and 10 actant schemes, and 10 imperfect functional structures. The main actant scheme lies in scheme 6. There a correlationrelationship between the actant scheme and the functional structure. The character of Ne’ Baruakng Kulup is a hero in the story analyzed. In accordance with this, a Semester Lecture Plan has been designed for Prose Study by implementing an actantial analysis based on A.J. Greimas on the tale of Ne’ Baruakng Kulup in practicing analyzing folklore.

Abstract

There is a correlational relationship between the actant scheme and the functional structure. The character of Ne’ BaruakngKulup is a hero in the story analyzed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam menulis. Dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi, siswa masih kurang mampu dalam menuangkan ide atau gagasan ke dalam bentuk puisi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan hasil belajar menulis puisi menggunakan model cooperative script. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penlitian kualitatif yaitu model Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan subjek guru mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia dan siswa kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Sebangki Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023 yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi, dokumenter, dan pengetesan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai perencanaan pembelajaran yang diperoleh guru pada siklus I yaitu 67,37 dengan persentase 67,37%, pada siklus II, yaitu 72,10 dengan persentase 72,10%, dan pada siklus III, yaitu 80 dengan persentase 80%. Pada siklus I nilai pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang diperoleh guru yaitu 63 dengan persentase 63%, pada siklus II, yaitu 73,5 dengan persentase 73,5%, dan pada siklus III, yaitu 80,5 dengan persentase 80,5%. Hasil belajar siswa dalam menulis puisi pada siklus I adalah 69,17, siklus II adalah 69,58, dan pada siklus III adalah 79,17. Jadi pembelajaran menulis puisi menggunakan model cooperative script dari prasiklus, siklus I, siklus II, dan siklus III mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract

Introduction.There were still many ancient manuscripts that are kept privately by the community.The low awareness and response to the preservation of ancient manuscripts was a severe threat.They were the potential for the extinction of ancient manuscripts due to intentional or accidental reasons.The purpose of this paper it to describe the role of Library, Archive and Museum (LAM) in preserving ancient manuscripts in West Kalimantan. Data collection methods. A qualitative approach, through participatory observation, interviews with seven informants, and literature studies was conducted. Data analysis. Reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions were conducted as parts of data anaylsis. The validity used source triangulation, cross-checking on informants. Results and discussion. LAM collected ancient manuscripts through compensation, exchange, deposit, grants, and copying.They were still many ancient manuscripts kept privately and preserved in a simple way among the community so that they are vulnerable and be the threat of extinction. Therefore, LAM needed to optimize its role as a collector, educator, conservator, and translator in order to maintain the integrity and extend the life of ancient manuscripts. Conclusion. Strategies that are possibly implemented includethe collaboration between LAM to optimize the role of LAM to increase public awareness and knowledge in preserving ancient manuscripts.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a high enthusiasm to develop an independent learning curriculum based on local wisdom. The aim is to explore in depth the values of multicultural education in the Dayak oral tradition in Nangka village, Menjalin District, Landak Regency as well as the social and cultural values contained in the oral tradition so that the values in question are able to provide learning for the local community. Departing from the problem that the oral tradition that developed in society began to lose its existence. At present the role of oral tradition has begun to be replaced by the existence of social media which is mushrooming among the community. The question is how the oral tradition is able to provide multicultural educational values among the community, especially the people of Nangka Village. A qualitative method with an ethnopedagogical approach is the chosen research design. The results of the study found that there are multicultural values in the oral tradition that are still developing in the midst of society, namely (1) the balala' tradition, (2) the Nyangahatn tradition; (3) Mura'atn Tradition (4) Baliatn Tradition; (5) Basaru' Sumangat Tradition. The values of multicultural education implicit in this oral tradition are the values of mutual respect, mutual respect, mutual forgiveness, mutual cooperation, friendship, tolerance, tolerance, religious, and historical values.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of speech containing blasphemy in the examination minutes (BAP) of Singkawang Police investigators with a pragmatic approach. Blasphemy is one language with legal impact in the form of degrading religious beliefs. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection technique used in this study was indirect techniques with documentary studies because the data was obtained through examination minutes documents (BAP) owned by Singkawang Resort police investigators. The analytical approach used in this study is pragmatic. As a result, there are type of directive speech act with 3 functions: questioning, suggesting, and prohibiting. Then, the assertive speech act has 2 parts: claiming the truth and complaining. Also, the type of expressive speech act has 1 function, namely the blame function. These functions contain the meaning of blasphemy to the religious beliefs of Muslims.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of parenting styles self regulated  and mathematics learning outcomes for grade IV students at Suster Singkawang Elementary School. The research was carried out using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were fourth grade students at SD Suster Singkawang with a sample of 92 students. The data collection tools used were questionnaires to determine parenting patterns and learning independence, as well as mathematics learning achievement tests. Data analysis was carried out by testing the effect using analysis of variance. Based on the analysis of the data obtained, authoritarian and democratic parenting styles do not have an influence on self regulated because the significance value obtained is more than 5%, while permissive parenting styles have an influence on self regulated with a sig value of <5%. Meanwhile, authoritarian, democratic and permissive parenting styles have a positive influence on students' mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

Education is a right for every child, including children with special needs. Inclusive education is an education that requires educational units to provide learning for children with special needs along with normal children. In this independent curriculum, inclusive education is being intensified again so that all children experience the same education. However, in reality, inclusive education has not been implemented well due to several factors, such as the misunderstanding of schools who think that inclusive education is only for Special Schools “Sekolah Luar Biasa” (SLB). The aim of the research is to describe the basis of regulations so that the importance of implementing inclusive education in regular schools is taken into consideration. This research is qualitative research with the type of library research. Data collection techniques use documentation techniques. The documents that are the data source are laws relating to inclusive education and supporting scientific journals regarding inclusive education. Research data shows that in Indonesia inclusive education was introduced in the 1980s. This inclusive education is guaranteed by law. The foundations for implementing inclusive education such as Law no. 4 of 1997, Law no. 23 of 2002 articles 48 and 49, Law no. 20 of 2003 article 5 paragraph 1, as well as the publication of a guidebook for implementing inclusive education in the independent curriculum by the Ministry of Education and Culture. So that schools must be able to implement inclusive education in regular schools in accordance with the mandate of the law.
