Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research is about the conflicts experienced by the characters in the story line by presenting conflicts that arise within themselves and something that exists outside of themselves. The problem in this study is how internal and external conflict with the characters and the implementation of this research in learning Indonesian. The purpose of this study is to describe the internal and external conflicts in figures and the implementation of this research in learning Indonesian using the novel I am Sarahza by Hanum Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra. The benefits in this study are divided into two, namely theoretical benefits and practical benefits.The theory used in this research is the structure of novel builders, conflict, psychology in literary works, and literary learning in schools. Abstract

AbstractThis study discusses the leadership of the library chief on the performance of employees at the University Library Tanjungpura. The purpose of this study is to knowthe role of the head of library leadership in improving the performance of employees, constraints the head of the library in improving the performance of employees, as well as efforts made the head of the library as pemipin in the library of Tanjungpura University. In this study, the authors retrieve data using qualitative and descriptive methods. Data collection is done by observation to the field. interviews, and documentation.The results of this research are 1) The role of leadership is very important in improving the performance of employees 2) Head of Tanjungpura University library into the category of Democratic leadership type and can change the discipline of employees better. Keywords: Head of Library, Leadership, Peagawai Performance, High Pergurun Library

Abstract

AbstractThis study examines the characters in the novel Mariposa by Luluk HF, and to describe character analytically, character dramatically; and thatis to decribe implementation of the results into the Indonesian intructions at school. The benefit of this study are devide into two categories: practical and theoritical. This psychological analysis study was conducted by referring to Albertine Minderop's theory. This study using descriptive methods and psychoanalysis approach. The data sources in this research is Mariposa novel, while the data are words, phrases and expressions. The data collection in this study uses documentary study technique. Data collections tool in this study is direct research as a key instrument. The analysis shows that 1) the analytic character of the Mariposa novel by Luluk HF. 2) Mariposa's dramatic character novel by Luluk HF. 3) The results are implemented into Indonesian language and art subject matter in basic competencies 3,9 and 4,9 from third grade in high school. Keywords: Character, Psychology, novel

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keinginan peneliti untuk memahami lebih dalam mengenai HHT Jilid 1 karya Muhammad Haji Salleh, untuk mengetahui struktur dan nilai-nilai yang terbagi menjadi empat masalah, yaitu bagaimana tokoh utama, bagaimana alur, bagaimana latar, dan nilai-nilai apa saja yang disampaikan.Peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif dan berbentuk kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan strukturalisme dan sosiologi karya sastra karena peneliti mengumpulkan data dengan mengklasifikasikan dan mendeskripsikan secermat dan seteliti mungkin pada strukturalisme dan nilai-nilai yang ada HHT Jilid 1 karya Muhammad Haji Salleh. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berguna bagi pembaca khususnya guru dan siswa SMP. Hsil penelitian ini diharapkan juga berguna untuk mahasiswa terhadap HHT Jilid 1 karya Muhammad Haji Salleh ini dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan untuk penelitian selanjutnya yang berkaitan mengenai Struktur dan nilai-nilai. Kata kunci: strukturalisme, unsur intrinsik, nilai-nilai, Hikayat Hang Tuah. Abstract: This research conducted to strengthen comprehension about The History of Hang Tuah, 1st Edition by Muhammad Haji Salleh, to learn the structural and the values in four different cases, first is how the description of the main character, second is the plot, third is the setting, and the last is the values in the story. The method used in this research is descriptive method, with qualitative research. The approach being used is structural approach and sociology literature, because the researcher can collect the data by classifying and describes it accurately in the structural and values of The History of Hang Tuah, 1st Edition by Muhammad Haji Salleh. Lastly, the researcher hope that the result of the research can help the reader of The History of Hang Tuah especially teachers and junior high school students. The result of this research is useful for college students to put The History of Hang Tuah as the reference for their research which is related to structure and values. Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the researchers' interest in the character and development of character in the main characters of the novel Gelombang. The purpose of this research is to describe the development of the character of the main character in the novel Gelombang by Dewi Lestari. This study uses a descriptive method, in the form of qualitative, with a literary psychology approach. Based on data analysis, the main character has positive and negative characters. Positive characteristics include smart, diligent reading, clever foreign language, ambitious, hardworking, honest, and detailed. Negative characteristics include cowardice, fear of sleep, resignation, panic, surprise, and confusion. The character development of the main characters includes: normal being afraid of sleep; clever to be multilingual; dare to take action; and fear of sleeping to be brave to face sleep. Alfa figures are dynamic figures. This novel is very appropriate to be used as material for learning Indonesian language and literature because the contents of this novel can train students to understand the intrinsic elements presented by the author in his work. Keywords: Character Development, Novel.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan Penelitian untuk Melestarikan seni tari Tandak Sambas di Sekolah Dasar, mendeskripsikan keefektifan strategi pembelajaran seni Tari Tandak  Sambas,  mendeskripsikan proses mengajarkan seni tari Tandak Sambas dengan menggunakan strategi synectics, mendeskripsikan hasil pembelajaran Seni Tari Tandak Sambas yang mempunyai nilai seni budaya yang tinggi kepada peserta didik. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini diantaranya : proses pembelajaran seni tari Tandak Sambas melalui Strategi Synectics ternyata mampu menjadi alternative strategi pembelajaran dalam mengembangkan ekspresi, kreativitas, imajinasi peserta didik. Sehingga peserta didik mengenal budaya daerah, cinta tanah air dan bangsa serta mampu mengembangkan segala pengetahuan dan keterampilannya pada saat pembelajaran dilakukan.   Kata k unci : Strategi Synectics,  tari, Tandak Sambas   Abstract: Objective  preserving the art of dance Tandak Sambas elementary school, describe the learning strategy dance art Tandak Sambas, describe the learning outcomes dance Tandak Sambas that have a high value of art and culture to students.The strategy used in this study is Synectics, the position of this strategy is to assist researchers in achieving the expected research. Research techniques used are observation, documentation, and interviews. The results obtained in this study include: learning the art of dance Tandak Sambas through Synectics strategy proved to be an alternative learning strategies in developing expression, creativity, imagination learners. Abstract

AbstractService Evaluation at the Library of Pontianak's Cultural Value Conservation Center. This study discusses the effect of service on the interest of visitors to visit the Library of the Pontianak Cultural Value Conservation Center. The purpose of this study is to determine the services provided in meeting the needs of visiting interest in office employees and the general public. This study uses qualitative methods and the type of research used is field research or field studies by collecting data through observation, and direct interviews, and through documents. The aspects in the study that were evaluated were the organization of libraries, library collections, library management, library services. The number of informants in the study was 4 people. The determination of informants is based on the researchers' assessment of the informants who are considered to have mastered the data studied. The results showed that the implementation, collection, management, library services had fulfilled the needs of the users and carried out quite well including the implementation based on guidelines, collections that meet the needs of users, good management in improving services, and library services according to varied users. Keywords: Service Evaluation, Library, Special

Abstract

AbstractThis research was focused on the main character’s internal conflict in a novel, titled Rahasia Salinem by Brillian Yotenega and Wisnu Suryaning Adji and used as material in learning the Indonesian language in the twelve-grade of a senior high school. The research method was a qualitative descriptive study. The approach used was the literary psychology approach. The data were collected through the documentary study technique. The researcher and data cards were the tools of data collection. The data source in this research was the novel of Rahasia Salinem by Brillian Yotenega and Wisnu Suryaning Adji, while the data were internal and external conflicts in the form of quotes, phrases, sentences or paragraphs. Based on the results of data analysis regarding internal and external conflicts, internal conflicts of the main character included; feelings of surrender, worry, doubt, anger, unhappiness, wonder, sadness, fear, and confusion. External conflicts of Salinem as the main character included social conflicts. Social conflicts experienced by Salinem included; bickering, fighting, and debating. The analysis was conducted by observing internal and external conflicts experienced by the main character based on the literacy psychology approach by using personality structure theories, namely, idea, ego, and super ego.        Keywords:  Conflict, Character, Literature Psychological.
