Abstract

The objective of this research is to understand the food habit of the lizard fish (Saurida undosquamis) in Southern South China Sea.For this purpose, purposive random sampling was conducted over 19 stations in trawlable bottom waters using swept area method and sample of 250 of S. undosquamis were examined for their stomach content. The lengths of S. undosquamis under this observation were 15,0-26,8 cm. The result showed that the S. undosquamis is demersal fish that distributed diurnally. The food habit of the S. undosquamis in South China Sea was different between the day and the night. The food habit of S. undosquamis in the day are mainly small demersal fishes, especially Leiognathus leusiscus and Upeneus sulphureus that have the same diurnal distribution pattern as  S. undosquamis. Meanwhile, during the night time, the food habit of  S. undosquamis was dominated by shrimps.

Abstract

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is one of the instruments to prevent environmental pollution and/or damage (Undang-Undang 32, 2009). Success in preventing environmental pollution is closely related to the quality of the EIA document, especially the quality of the consistency aspects, such as the consistency between the hypothetical significant impact and the initial environmental baseline, the estimated magnitude of the impact, the environmental management and monitoring plan. Therefore, it is very necessary to assess the consistency of the EIA Document in the Province of South Sumatra. This research aims to assess the consistency test of the EIA Document approved by the EIA Assessment Commission of South Sumatra Province. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The research sample was taken using a total sampling technique, all EIA Documents that have been assessed by the EIA Assessment Commission of South Sumatra Province between 2018-2020 and already have an Environmental Feasibility Decree totaling 12 (twelve) documents are used as research samples. The results showed that 5 (five) documents (42%) had very good consistency,               6 (six) documents (50%) had good consistency and 1 (one) document (8%) ) had a bad consistency.

Abstract

Gap existing in the landscape are partial practices on environment management and social programs from each of landscape stakeholders which cause cumulative duplication or incontinuity between programs. The objective of this research is to analyze production area role in the landscape environment management in South Sumatra particularly Musi Banyuasin and Banyuasin Districts. Using survey method and purposive sampling, 8 companies representatives are interviewed regarding current environment management system and the relation with external factors with landscape approach overview. The results: (1) Land-use planning should be in place prior the development of concession permit and concessions as implementer of provincial and national agendas on local investments; (2) Concession monitoring efforts could give input on the conformity towards the law enforcement in environment management which should be expressed through the year.; (3) Concessions ideally have the role as connector to community and protected areas, connecting to government programs, raising awareness as well as providing assistance in economic empowerment to the community, reducing dependency towards forests; (4) The report from wildlife and its habitat monitoring (buffer area) surrounding concession should also be shared with Environmental Agency (DLH), Forest Management Unit (KPH), National Park and Natural Resource Conservation Center (BKSDA) for potential or existing wildife corridors or ecosystem essentials area; (5) Concession could collaborate with conservation area as well as other governmental programs to maximize the impact and efficiency of the programs. Together with community and protected areas, concessions have significant area size and have the capacity and resources to also take part in the landscape management. Joint monitoring and programs would be tremendous achievement for the landscape approach.

Abstract

Desa Binamang adalah salah satu desa yang berada di Kecamatan XIII Koto Kampar Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau. Pelaksanaan kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata-Balik Kampung (KUKERTA-BK) adalah salah satu wujud pengabdian Universitas Riau kepada masyarakat sebagai wujud pelaksanaan Tri Dharma perguruan tinggi. Pemahaman anak-anak yang tinggi terhadap pentingnya pendidikan akan mendorong terwujudnya generasi penerus yang berwawasan luas. Sarana pendidikan yang terdapat di Desa Binamang meliputi Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, Taman Kanak-Kanak, dan Sekolah Dasar. Pandemi Covid-19 tidak hanya berdampak pada bidang kesehatan, tetapi juga berdampak pada bidang pendidikan. Pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring dan menggunakan media media pembelajaran digital Permasalahan pada pendidikan di Desa Binamang akibat terjadinya pandemi Covid-19 yaitu kurangnya motivasi belajar, rendahnya tingkat pemahaman serta penguasaan literasi dan teknologi para peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, KUKERTA-BK yang dilakukan di Desa Binamang Kecamatan XIII Koto Kampar merancang program peningkatan semangat literasi dan adaptasi teknologi bagi siswa Sekolah Dasar. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode pelatihan seperti penyampaian materi, diskusi, dan praktek secara langsung dengan media laptop. Kemampuan literasi dan teknologi yang dapat dilaksanakan meliputi bimbingan belajar, maghrib mengaji, strategi belajar melalui ice breaking, dan pengenalan komputer dasar. Program ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan semangat literasi dan adaptasi teknologi para peserta didik di Desa Binamang.

Abstract

English is widely used as a tool to communicate people from different countries. In fulfilling this, skills in using language are needed. The purpose of this study is to find the use of the Cake application in strengthening English speaking skills of students majoring in Tadris English, semester 6, Universitas Islam Negeri Yunus Batusangkar. This research approach is to use quantitative with research design using surveys. The data collection technique was carried out using questionnaires given to each person in each class. The number of statements made in the questionnaire was 18 statements. The population used is Universitas Islam Negeri Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar students, majoring in Tadris English, semester 6. The samples used were 40 samples. The results of the assessment show that the use of the Cake application can help students improve their speaking skills. This is because of the many kinds of features available in the application, the selection of levels ranging from beginner to advanced in accordance with learning interests, equipped with assessments that can find out or correct the location of mistakes made, and are effectively used because they use the internet network and mobile phones or laptops that are already owned by students.

Abstract

The current globalization has also given rise to new leadership styles, including digital leadership. Digital leadership style is one alternative approach school principals use to improve the quality of learning by utilizing technological sophistication. This study aims to determine the strategy, implementation, and obstacles in the digital leadership of school principals to improve the quality of learning in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang and MA Al Irtqio' Malang City. This study uses a qualitative approach with a multi-site study design conducted at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang and MA Al Irtiqo' Malang City. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that in his strategy, the principal sought to conduct technology-based learning media training for educators, seeking the ability of educators to utilize technology. The implementation is done by striving to learn using digital media, completing technology-related facilities, collaborating with various parties, and integrating technology into school administration. The obstacles are children's different backgrounds, conventional teaching, and internet network connectivity.

Abstract

There are several processes involved in the treatment of clean water, namely filtering, sedimentation, coagulation, flocculation, filtration, and disinfection. These processes are utilized by PAM Bandarmasih at the Water Treatment Plant II (IPA II) situated on Jalan Pramuka. The objective of the research is to analyze the quality of water distributed to the North Zone of Banjarmasin by PAM Bandarmasih. The research location was intentionally chosen (purposive sampling) within the Bandarmasih PAM area, encompassing the raw water sources from the Tabuk River, IPA 1, and IPA 2 in the North Banjarmasin zone. The Tabuk River watershed serves as a tributary of the Martapura River, which is utilized as a water source to fulfill the daily needs of the people. The data analysis technique employed to address the research objectives involves analyzing the quality of distributed clean water using the storet method. Evaluation of the water quality distributed to customers in the North Banjarmasin PAM Bandarmasih zone leads to the conclusion that both the quality of raw water and treated water as a whole meet the quality standards outlined in accordance with PERMENKES Regulation Number 2 of 2023. The assessment of clean water quality distributed is based on the water quality storet method, indicating that the clean water distributed by PAM Banjarmasih originates from the lightly polluted AD Mufti River, with a total score of (-9).

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to identify the effect of testicular torsion on the quality of sperm which include: concentration, morphology, and motility of the contralateral testis Rattus norvegicus. Material & Methods: This study is an experimental laboratory study with a post-test only control and completely randomized design (CRD) and divided into 3 groups: control (KO) and treatment (P1 and P2). The treatment group induced testicular torsion of 360˚ to the left for 4 hours. Each group consisted of 9 rats were observed immediately after detorsi (rapid effects) and 9 rats were observed after 30 days do detorsi (slow effect). Data were analyzed by ANOVA - One way and followed by Tuckey HSD test. Results: The results showed a significant difference ( P < 0.05 ) the concentration and morphology of spermatozoa between the control and treatment groups but there is no real difference between P1 and P2 . As for sperm motility are no significant differences ( P < 0.05 ) for each treatment . Conclusion: Based on this it can be concluded that testicular torsion lead to changes in concentration , motility , and morphology of spermatozoa contralateral testis. Abstract

Kosakata merupakan salah satu unsur bahasa terpenting yang harus dimiliki seseorang ketika mempelajari bahasa asing, begitu pula bahasa Arab. Menguasai kosakata bahasa Arab merupakan salah satu kunci dalam mempelajari bahasa Arab. Keterampilan berbahasa Arab yang harus dikuasai meliputi keterampilan menulis, berbicara, mendengarkan, dan membaca, dan pembelajaran bahasa Arab harus memperhatikan prinsip-prinsip bahasa di satu sisi dan prinsip-prinsip pengajaran bahasa di sisi lain. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang datanya berupa angka-angka, untuk menganalisis data yang terkumpul menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah seluruh variabel terikat atau bebas yang ada dalam model berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel terikat atau tidak bebas. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 12 orang siswa yang terdiri dari siswi MAPK Syaik Zainuddin NW Anjani. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan atau keterampilan berbahasa Arab berpusat pada pengalaman dan penguasaan kosakata yang kaya dan produktif. Adapun kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah kosakata Bahasa arab memiliki hubungan yang dignifikan terhadap penguasaan materi dan hafalan Al-Quran mempunyai hubungan positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Classroom action research is a teacher's effort to solve problems that arise in the classroom environment and as a means of assessing the learning process. This study aims to find out how the application of Sociodrama increases student learning motivation, as well as the results of the application of the Sociodrama method in increasing student learning motivation. Regarding the implementation of learning in the classroom, it is known that the daily test scores of the Islamic Cultural History subject are for 45 students, and for those who have fulfilled the KKM, as many as 21 students or 47.73%. Meanwhile, those who have not reached KKM are 23 students, or 52.27%. This study used Classroom Action Research (PTK) conducted on grade VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah Tebing Tinggi City for the 2023-2024 school year. The results of the study In the first cycle, the presentation of student learning activities at each meeting increased with an average student learning activity of 52.856%. This proves that the first cycle has not reached the expected target because learning will be declared successful if student activities reach the target of 80%. It is necessary to make improvements by continuing the second cycle of learning. In cycle II, the percentage of student learning activities at each meeting increased, averaging 74.285%. Thus, learning activities applying the Sociodrama as a learning method have reached the target with a success indicator of 80%. Therefore, there was an increase in learning motivation for grade VIII students in the Islamic Cultural History Subject.
