Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Wordwall educational game on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 231 Palembang. The method used in this research is an experimental method with a true experimental pretest-posttest control group design. The study consists of two groups: a control group that did not use the Wordwall educational game and an experimental group that used the Wordwall educational game during the learning process. Data collection was carried out using tests to measure students' learning outcomes, which were administered during both the pretest and posttest.Based on the results of hypothesis testing using an independent sample t-test, the posttest score of the control group was 55.22, while the experimental group scored 78.26. According to the SPSS output of the hypothesis test, the obtained t-value was 5.688, which is greater than the t-table value of 0.297, with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. This indicates that the use of the Wordwall educational game has a significant effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 231 Palembang.

Abstract

Examining the influence of industrial work practice, career counseling, encouragement to enter the world of work, and soft skills on work preparation is the purpose of this study. The research population was all XII grade students of SMK N 5 Palembang totaling 400 people, a research sample of 129 was determined through the G*power program, data collection techniques using questionnaires and multiple regression (ARM) with the backward method assisted by SPSS 26 for data analysis. The test results for the R coefficient of multiple regression models provide a test statistical value of F = 27.148, and a p-value (Sig.) <0.001. The regression model test results show that the initial model with 4 independent variables is not significant in explaining variations in work readiness, then the backward ARM suggests an improved model by discarding variables (X3) and (X4), so that a standardized regression equation Y = 2.186 + 0.299X1 + 0.455X2 is obtained, and the value of R2 = 0.457. This can be interpreted that with a contribution of 45.7% industrial work practices and career counseling have a positive and important impact on work readiness. The research results indicate that career counseling activities and industrial work practices are very important in helping students prepare for the world of work competition after they graduate.

Abstract

This study is to evaluate and analyze the hurdles and problems that a lecturer has in obtaining peak performance by examining the impact of discipline, infrastructure, work environment, and work rewards on lecturer performance. The sample of this study were 32 respondents and this study is quantitative and questionnaire was used to collect the data. We identify or uncover causality to determine the link or impact of discipline, infrastructure, work environment, and job rewards on lecturer performance in statistics are used in this study. The findings revealed that the existence of the Work Reward variable as a control variable had an effect on the variables discipline (X1), infrastructure (X2), work environment (X3) and lecturer performance (Y). Thus, it can be inferred that the variables of discipline, infrastructure, and work environment are not the only factors that influence lecturer performance, because another variable, namely the work reward variable, also has an impact on lecturer performance. Work reward, is one of the variables influencing the rise in discipline, infrastructure, and work environment on lecturer performance. Meanwhile, the statistical results of SPSS 25 show that discipline, infrastructure, work environment, and job rewards all have a substantial impact on professor performance.

This study aims to explore the perspectives of principals and teachers regarding the impact of certification allowances on performance at SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Gelam. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the principal and several teachers who had received certification allowances. The results show that certification allowances are considered to provide additional motivation for teachers to improve their performance. Teachers feel more appreciated and enthusiastic about developing more effective teaching methods. In addition, this allowance encourages increased professionalism and responsibility in carrying out duties. However, there is also a view that this allowance should be accompanied by stricter performance evaluations to ensure a sustainable positive impact.
