Abstract

Based on the results of observations made by researchers, that students' knowledge of entrepreneurial literacy and economic literacy is quite good. This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurial literacy and economic literacy on entrepreneurial motivation. This study uses a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The research population was 98 students of SMA Negeri 8 Palembang for the academic year 2023/2024 even semester, the sample was determined using the Census/Sampling method. The total number was 98 people. Entrepreneurial literacy and economic literacy data were collected through multiple choice test questions and data on entrepreneurial motivation was carried out through a questionnaire. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it shows that entrepreneurial literacy and economic literacy have a simultaneous effect on entrepreneurial motivation assisted by SPSS software with a sig. 0.000 is less than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05) and the Fcount value is 434.700 greater than Ftable = 3.09 (at the 5% tolerance level and degrees of freedom (df) (k; n-k) = (2;96), Entrepreneurial literacy partially influences entrepreneurial motivation with a sig. value of 0.000 less than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05), and a tcount of 9.377 greater than a ttable of 1.985 (at the 5% tolerance level and degrees of freedom (df) n - 2 = 95) and economic literacy partially influences entrepreneurial motivation with a significance value (sig.) 0.000 less than 0.05 (0.000 <0.005) and a tcount value of 9.834 more than ttable 1.985 (at the 5% tolerance level and degrees of freedom (df) n-2=95). Keywords: Entrepreneurial Literacy; economic literacy; entrepreneurial motivation.

Abstract

Posters are one of the excellent media for conveying information visually that is easy to understand. This study uses a descriptive literature study approach to analyze the application of poster media in learning, by collecting and reviewing relevant scientific articles. The results of the analysis show that posters are effective in improving the understanding of the material, especially through simplifying complex information into a simpler visual form to be understood. This study found that poster media has great potential to support learning success. However, its effectiveness is highly dependent on the quality of the poster design, the teacher's understanding in designing posters that are in accordance with learning objectives, and the visual characteristics of students. This study contributes that poster media has great potential to support learning success, but its success depends on design factors and the teacher's ability to integrate it into the learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see how students view the implementation of E-LKPD (Electronic Student Worksheet) on the Trial Balance material at SMK Bina Jaya Palembang. To measure the aspects of ease of use, effectiveness, and attractiveness of E-LKPD, this study used a quantitative descriptive method. The results showed that students were very positive about the use of E-LKPD, especially regarding the ease of navigation and interaction. With interactive features and direct feedback, E-LKPD is also considered to help students understand the Trial Balance concept independently. The visual appeal of E-LKPD also increases students' desire to learn. The results show that E-LKPD is an effective and appropriate learning method to support accounting learning in SMK, especially topics that require procedural understanding.

Abstract

Character education is one of the vital aspects in the development of the education system in Indonesia, especially at the secondary school level. By focusing on the experiences and perceptions of teachers, students, and other related parties, this study explores how character values ​​are integrated into learning activities at school. This study aims to analyze the implementation of character education at SMA Negeri 7 Prabumulih through a phenomenological approach. Character education is becoming increasingly important amidst the moral and social challenges faced by today’s young generation. This study examines the experiences of teachers and students in the process of implementing character education and its impact on students’ attitudes and behavior. The implementation of character education has shown significant results in shaping students’ character. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for further research and educational practices in other schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of motivation and interpersonal communication from school principals on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 6 Prabumulih. The research employs a quantitative approach with a survey design, involving a number of teachers as respondents. The results indicate a significant positive relationship between the motivation provided by the school principal and effective interpersonal communication in enhancing teacher performance. Principals who foster open communication and support can boost teachers’ work morale, thereby contributing to the improvement of the quality of education in the school. These findings underscore the crucial role of school principals in creating a conducive work environment, where effective communication and appropriate motivation can drive teachers to achieve optimal performance. This study is expected to provide insights for developing more effective leadership strategies within the educational context.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of empowerment leadership on teacher’s performance in junior high schools in Mesuji District. The approach used is a literature review, by collecting and analyzing various relevant research results in national journals related to empowerment leadership and teacher’s performance. Through a literature review, this study discusses the concept of empowerment leadership, which involves empowering teachers to make decisions, support in developing competencies, and increasing work motivation. This study collects literature from national journals published in the last four years, with an analysis focused on research results that measure the impact of empowerment leadership on improving teacher performance, both directly and indirectly. The results of the study indicate that empowerment leadership has a significant positive effect on teacher’s performance, especially in terms of motivation, job satisfaction, and commitment to the school. Teachers who feel empowered by the principal tend to have better performance, as indicated by improved teaching quality and involvement in school activities. The novelty of this study lies in its focus on the local context in junior high schools in Mesuji District, which has so far been underrepresented in the literature. The contribution of this research is to provide a clearer picture of the importance of empowerment leadership in improving teacher’s performance, which can be a reference for regional education policy makers in designing school leadership programs.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of teacher leaders in improving the quality of education through the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesia. The Merdeka Curriculum offers flexibility to teachers and schools to create a contextual and relevant learning process to students’ needs, with a focus on character building and strengthening non-academic skills. The study used a literature study method to examine relevant theories and previous findings. The results of the study indicate that teacher leaders act as agents of change who are able to facilitate educational innovation, improve the quality of learning, and strengthen collaboration between stakeholders. The main challenges in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum include limited infrastructure, teacher readiness in using technology, and students’ socio-economic factors. However, with policy support and collaboration between schools, parents, and communities, teacher leaders can play a crucial role in ensuring that educational transformation is effective. This study provides recommendations for stakeholders to strengthen the Teacher Leader program and increase the success of the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of implementing Internet of Things (IoT) technology in library services on students’ reading interest at SMA Ilir Timur 1 Palembang. IoT provides ease in accessing information through features such as automatic borrowing, preference-based recommendations, and real-time collection management. However, despite increasing accessibility, students’ reading interest is still relatively low, influenced by the dominance of digital entertainment. Literature review shows that IoT has great potential to improve library service efficiency and student engagement, but its impact on reading interest is not yet fully significant. Therefore, this study recommends the development of an IoT strategy that is more integrated with local needs and digital literacy training for students and teachers. With an inclusive and adaptive approach, the implementation of IoT is expected to support an increase in students’ reading interest evenly in the digital era.

Abstract

This research is a research that aims to develop E-LKPD based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) on financial report material at SMK Negeri 8 Palembang which can be tested valid, practical and learning outcomes. The method in this study is Research and Development (R&D) which uses the ADDIE model using data collection techniques in the form of interviews, questionnaires and tests. Based on the results of the study, it shows that E-LKPD based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) is declared valid according to the combined results of four validators with an average of 85.23% in the very valid category. In addition, its practicality has been proven from one-to-one tests with an average of 85.42% in the very practical category. As well as small group trials with an average of 85.25% in the very practical category. Furthermore, learning outcomes show an increase of 32.54% from the difference between pre-test and post-test. So that E-LKPD based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) is very suitable for use as a learning material.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teacher competency at SD Negeri 147 Palembang through a qualitative case study. The teacher competency that is the focus of this study includes four main aspects: pedagogical, professional, personality, and social competency. Data were collected using two main techniques, namely in-depth interviews with the principal and questionnaires distributed to teachers. Interviews with the principal were used to obtain a general view of teacher performance and competency development strategies in schools, while questionnaires were designed to evaluate teachers’ perceptions of their respective competencies. The results of the study indicate that teachers at SD Negeri 147 Palembang have good competency, especially in personality and social aspects, which are reflected in the high level of discipline and effective communication with students and colleagues. However, improvements are still needed in the use of technology in learning and the application of more innovative teaching methods and strengthening communication with parents of students. These findings indicate that ongoing training is needed to improve the quality of teaching and professional skills of teachers at SD Negeri 147 Palembang. This study is expected to be a reference for policy making in efforts to improve teacher competency in public elementary schools in Indonesia.
