Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of workload, career development, and motivation on teacher productivity at the Aditya Karya Education Foundation. This research is important because teacher productivity is a key factor in improving the quality of education, but there are still few studies that comprehensively examine these factors in private educational institutions. This quantitative research involved 100 teacher respondents with a double linear regression analysis method using SPSS. The results show that workload, career development, and motivation significantly affect teacher productivity, both partially and simultaneously. The novelty of this research lies in a holistic approach in identifying the determinants of teacher productivity in the educational foundation environment, which can be a reference for school management in designing human resource development policies. The contribution of this research provides practical recommendations to improve teacher performance through workload optimization, career development programs, and providing the right motivation. These findings also enrich the education management literature with empirical evidence from local contexts. Keywords: Workload, Career Development, Motivation, Productivity.

Abstract

Music has a significant role as a universal communication tool that is able to express feelings, ideas, emotions and reflections to its listeners. The song "Semua Aku Dirayakan" by Nadin Amizah is not only a means of entertainment but also offers a deep meaning related to introspection about self-acceptance, gratitude, and life's journey through deep metaphors. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with Ferdinand De Saussure's semiotic approach, which focuses on the relationship between signifiers and signifieds to help us understand how signs work to form, change and communicate meaning in certain contexts. Data was collected from fanbase and general listener interviews as well as lyric analysis. This research aims to analyze the meaning of the lyrics of the song "Semua Aku Dirayakan" to reveal the message contained and connected to the listener's interpretation. The results of this research show that the song "Semua Aku Dirayakan" can be a universal reflection medium with a deep meaning about self-acceptance and respect for every phase of life. This research provides theoretical contributions to the study of semiotics and practical benefits for listeners in understanding the meaning of song lyrics more deeply.

Abstract

The plurality of society in Indonesia allows for the emergence of ethnic, racial, and religious-related social conflicts. Religious moderation is therefore needed as an answer to this multicultural condition. Religious moderation should be made a life choice in Indonesia’s society, nation, and state. Education moderation is the best means to achieve this. This research focuses on the paradigm of religious moderation formulated into the concept of Islamic education moderation initiated by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia through Hilda Taba’s education theory related to the development of the Islamic education curriculum. This study aims to provide an overview of the paradigm of educational moderation in Islam to develop a moderate Islamic education curriculum in Indonesia. This library research is based on written literature and the method of data collection through documentation techniques using descriptive analysis techniques. Interpretation is carried out in this study as a means of understanding the study object based on the author’s abilities. Religious moderation can be understood as a procedure for attitudes, views, and behavior that seeks to choose a position in the middle, acting fairly and not extreme in religious practice. There are nine values of strengthening religious moderation in Islamic education: tawassut, i'tidal, tasamuh, ash-shura, al-islah, al-qudwah, al-muwathanah, al-'unf, and i'tiraf al-'urf. These moderate values form the foundation that will be internalized in the development of moderate educational curricula and practices

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of religious moderation values at SMAN 6 Kediri and their impact on the development of students’ character. The background of this research lies in the school’s religious and cultural diversity, which requires an educational strategy based on tolerance, justice, and balance (wasathiyah) to prevent intolerance and radicalism. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were obtained through observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and document analysis of school policies and learning activities. Data analysis was conducted thematically using triangulation techniques to ensure the validity of the findings. The results show that the values of religious moderation are integrated through contextual learning methods, participatory discussions, cross-subject collaboration, and curriculum support. This implementation has enhanced students’ understanding of the importance of harmony in diversity, shaped inclusive and tolerant character traits, and strengthened a harmonious school climate. The main challenge lies in differences in background and individual character, which influence the level of acceptance of these values. Overall, this study confirms that the application of religious moderation significantly contributes to character building and fostering harmony in the school environment.

Abstract

Active Indonesian teens often lack adequate hydration, especially those from low-income families. This study at SMAN 1 Samarinda examines fluid intake, socioeconomic factors, and nutritional status of students to improve their health through better nutrition and hydration. The general objective of this study was to analyze the relationship between fluid intake variables and socioeconomic status with nutritional status in extracurricular sports and non-sports students at SMAN 1 Samarinda. This research was conducted on October 23, 2024, at SMAN 1 Samarinda, involving 50 extracurricular sports and non-sports students. Using a cross-sectional, quantitative design with a chisquare test, the study aimed to analyze the relationship between fluid intake, socioeconomic status, and students' nutritional status. Data was collected at a specific time through observation and interviews The results showed no BMI difference between sports and non-sports students, indicating similar nutritional status in both groups. However, fluid intake was higher among sports students. Socioeconomic factors (parental education, occupation, income, and allowances) did not affect nutritional status in either group. Statistical tests confirmed no link between fluid intake and nutritional status (p=0.849 > 0.05), consistent with research showing hydration doesn’t directly impact nutrition. Additionally, socioeconomic factors showed no significant impact (p>0.05). This study found there is no relation between fluid intake and students' nutritional status (p=0.849 > 0.05), Socioeconomic factors also showed no significant effect (p>0.05), suggesting nutritional status is more influenced by diet, education, and access to nutritious foods. Future studies could add physical activity questions to better assess nutritional differences between sports and non-sports students.

Abstract

Background : Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a global health issue with increasing prevalence year by year. In 2023, the prevalence of CKD in Indonesia reached 0.18%, affecting approximately 638,178 individuals. CKD contributes to a high healthcare cost burden due to its complications, including gut dysbiosis, which triggers systemic inflammation and worsens the patient's condition. Changes in gut microbiota play a crucial role in the progression of this disease, with dysbiotic microbiota producing uremic toxins that further deteriorate the health of CKD patients. Managing gut dysbiosis has become one of the approaches that can help improve patient conditions, and the use of probiotics, prebiotics, and synbiotics has been extensively studied as potential therapeutic agents. Objective : This study generally aims to formulate a synbiotic yogurt product based on Malang apple (Malus sylvestris) and Bantan banana (Musa acuminata C.). Specifically, the objectives of this study include: testing the organoleptic and descriptive properties of the synbiotic yogurt product, analyzing the physical and chemical properties of the synbiotic yogurt, and examining the effect of treatments on organoleptic attributes (color, aroma, taste, texture, mouthfeel, aftertaste, and overall) and chemical properties (energy, protein, fat, carbohydrates, moisture, and ash content) of the synbiotic yogurt product. Research Methods/ Implementation Methods : This study was conducted in December 2024 at the Nutrition and Nutraceutical Laboratory, Faculty of Pharmacy, Mulawarman University. The research method involved several stages, starting with the formulation of synbiotic yogurt using a combination of full cream and skim milk, the addition of apple and banana puree, and the addition of probiotic bacterial starter cultures such as Streptococcus thermophilus, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, and Bifidobacterium. Organoleptic testing was conducted to determine the most preferred formula based on color, aroma, taste, texture, mouthfeel, aftertaste, and overall attributes. The selected formula was chosen based on weighted scoring. The effect of treatment interactions (the ratio of full cream and skim milk addition as well as the ratio of sugar and starter addition) on the organoleptic and chemical properties of the synbiotic yogurt product was analyzed using two-way ANOVA (p<0.05). Results : The study showed that formula F5, consisting of a mixture of full cream and skim milk (50%:50%), apple and banana puree (50%), 5% sugar, and 5% starter, was the most preferred formula by the panelists based on organoleptic testing, including color, aroma, consistency, taste, mouthfeel, aftertaste, and overall, compared to other formulas: F1, F2, F3, and F4. Based on physical analysis, F5 had a pH of 4.95±0.01 and a viscosity of 12.74±0.01, indicating a thick texture and a sour taste that meets probiotic yogurt standards. The chemical composition of F5 includes 73.26±12.62 kcal energy, 5.65%±1.56 protein, 2.94%±0.80 fat, 6.06%±0.20 carbohydrates, 85.57% ±0.03 moisture content, and 0.58%±0.01 ash content. Two-way ANOVA analysis results showed an interaction effect of the treatments (p<0.005) on the sensory/organoleptic and chemical properties of the synbiotic yogurt product.Conclusion/Lesson Learned : The synbiotic yogurt formula most preferred by panelists is F5, with an energy content of 73.26±12.62 kcal, 5.65%±1.56 protein, 2.94%±0.80 fat, 6.06%±0.20 carbohydrates, 85.57%±0.03 moisture, and 0.58%±0.01 ash content. The overall physical and chemical properties of the synbiotic yogurt meet the SNI 3820-2015 standard. The results of the two- way ANOVA test indicate an interaction effect of treatments on the sensory and chemical properties of the synbiotic yogurt product. Further research is recommended to conduct preclinical tests with experimental animals to assess the efficacy of the product as a modulator for gut dysbiosis.
