Abstract

Introduction: This study aims to identify and analyse the effects of work discipline, career development, and compensation on the performance of hotel employees in Palopo City in 2025. Methods: In this study, the research is quantitative, with a survey administered via questionnaire distribution. The population in this study were hotel employees in Palopo City. The sampling used simple random sampling. The sample size in this study is 65 employees. The data used in this study are primary data collected via a questionnaire. The data analysis method in this study used multiple linear regression with the SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) application. Results: Based on the study, work discipline does not significantly affect employee performance, despite it being a basic norm. Career development has a positive and significant effect, partially through training and promotions that encourage motivation. Compensation has a positive and very significant effect, as a dominant factor that spurs productivity through salaries and benefits on the performance of hotel employees in Palopo City. Abstract

This research discusses research that focuses on the capabilities of satellitebased LoRa, for satellite positions orbiting in low earth orbit (LEO). The expectation of low power wide area network (LPWAN) satellite can find the quality of transmitting data using LoRaWAN which is part of LPWAN and can provide quality of service (QoS) with high-quality real-time sensor data, low latency, long-range, low-power, no attenuation signal, no problem with obstacles in terrestrial areas, and other benefits that can be widely optimized. This article uses a comprehensive analysis of mathematical calculations as well as precise and accurate simulations for the actual development of satellite-based LPWAN. The satellite-based IoT is unlimited in terms of distance, to provide good services to all IoT users in the world. The comparison with terrestrial measurements is analyzed in detail, especially the signal attenuation factor that causes a lot of signal loss and data is not well received. Several methods are used to help reduce collision data, such as adaptive data rate (ADR) which can reduce collisions by 30%.

Abstract

This community engagement program aims to enhance the financial literacy of migrant youth by introducing basic financial education and the application of accounting in daily life. The activity was conducted with 32 participants from Angkatan Belia Islam, Pulau Penang, Malaysia, and facilitated by a team of lecturers from Universitas Negeri Makassar, Atma Jaya University Makassar, and Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. The method included pretest, material presentation, interactive discussion, posttest, and feedback sessions. Results of the pretest showed that the average participants’ understanding was below 60%, indicating limited knowledge of fundamental financial concepts such as distinguishing between needs and wants, recording expenses, and planning simple budgets. After the material presentation and discussion, posttest results demonstrated a significant increase in understanding across all indicators, with average scores exceeding 80%. The improvement reflects the effectiveness of the interactive and contextual teaching approach, particularly the use of relatable illustrations and ice-breaking games. The program not only improved participants’ financial literacy but also encouraged the application of accounting principles in their daily decision-making. These findings suggest that practical and participatory financial education initiatives are essential in empowering migrant youth to manage personal finances effectively and build financial independence.

Abstract

The Community Service Program in Wanagiri Village, Saketi Sub-district, Pandeglang, has been carried out successfully according to plan. The main focus of this activity is the use of information technology to improve the ability of village officials and neighborhood (RT) cadres to serve the community, as well as the development of a Village Website and a web-based Village Administration System application to provide broader access to information. Some RT cadres at the village level have already utilized information technology, and many villages have introduced ICT-based service innovations toward becoming digital villages. Wanagiri Village has pioneered the implementation of village administrative services by leveraging digital technology in the form of the Wanagiri Village Website and the Village Administration System (SADEWA). These two service innovations were created to enhance public services. Although both services have been established, the Wanagiri Village Administration System has not yet been fully implemented or further developed to achieve optimal performance, and the ability of RT cadres to operate this technology still needs to be strengthened. The community service activities were carried out through problem identification, website and administration system development, and supporting activities such as socialization, training, and mentoring. Despite these efforts, further intensive work is required to increase the capacity of village officials and RT cadres so that they gain a deeper understanding of digital literacy to support their productivity. The results of this program show improvements in digital skills, website content management, and community administrative services. The program contributes to realizing the vision of a model digital village that can be replicated in surrounding areas.

Abstract

Rendahnya pemberian ASI eksklusif terjadi karena rendahnya pengetahuan ibu. Berdasarkan survey awal yang peneliti lakukan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Konda terhadap 10 orang ibu yang memiliki bayi usia ≥ 6 bulan tentang pemberian ASI Ekslusif, diketahui bahwa dari 10 orang ibu, 6 orang (60%) tidak mengetahui akan bahaya atau akibat yang terjadi pada bayi maupun ibu akibat tidak memberikan ASI Ekslusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas edukasi pemberian ASI Ekslusif terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan ibu menyusui di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Konda Kecamatan Konda. Jenis penelitian ini yang digunakan metode Quasi Eksperiment dengan jenis one group pretest- posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 209 orang, pengambilan sampel dengan teknik random sampling yaitu 68 responden. Metode analisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaann skor pengetahuan (pre test - post test) sebelum dan sesudah edukasi. dalam penelitian ini bahwa ada peningkatan pengetahuan ibu setelah diberikan edukasi media booklet. Disarankan bagi ibu yang menyusui untuk berupaya lebih banyak menggali informasi mengenai ASI Eksklusif.

Abstract

This study aims to determinethe influence of morale and work discipline on employee performance in PDAM Luwu Regency. The population of this study were all employees of the Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) in Luwu Regency. The sampling technique used is the questionnaire method. Namely all employees of the Luwu District Drinking Water Company (PDAM) office, totaling 40 respondents. This research lasted for 3 days, starting on Monday, December 26, 2022 by filling in a sample questionnaire until Wednesday, December 29, 2022 at the Luwu District Drinking Water Company (PDAM) office. The results of this study indicate thatWork enthusiasm and work discipline simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance variables in PDAM Luwu Regency.Based on the results of the calculation of multiple linear regression analysis, it can be seen that the amount of contribution given by the variable morale and work discipline to employee performance at PDAM Luwu Regency simultaneously (R2) is 0.566 or 56.6%, this means employee performance is 56.6% influenced by morale and work discipline and the remaining 49.0% is influenced by other factors not examined or outside the research model.Partially, work enthusiasm has no effect on the performance of PDAM Luwu Regency employees, while dWork discipline partially has a significant effect on the performance of PDAM Luwu Regency employees.

Abstract

This study investigates the application of the Least Squares method for production budget planning at CV. Amirah Ramadhani Cemara Kora, Makassar. Employing a quantitative descriptive approach, the research analyzes sales data from January to December 2024, beginning inventory data for January 2025, and 2024 production reports, substantiated by interview data. The findings indicate that the Least Squares method yields significantly more accurate and structured production forecasts compared to the company's previous conventional methods. Analysis using the trend equation Y = a + bX reveals a consistent upward trend from January to December 2025, thereby mitigating risks associated with overstocking or stockouts. The projected 2025 production budget estimates a total output of 6,808 short-sleeve shirts and 6,466 long-sleeve shirts. The total estimated production cost is IDR 749,205,900, comprising IDR 463,920,000 for raw materials, IDR 66,830,000 for direct labor, and IDR 218,455,900 for factory overhead. This approach enables the company to optimize raw material and labor allocation based on predictive trends, effectively preventing production inefficiencies such as the overproduction observed in April 2024. Conclusively, the implementation of the Least Squares method allows CV. Amirah Ramadhani Cemara to enhance operational efficiency, streamline resource management, and facilitate strategic data-driven decision-making.

Abstract

This activity aims to improve the professional competence of elementary school teachers in implementing Classroom Action Research (CAR) as an effort to strengthen teachers' reflective and innovative capacity in the learning process. The training was conducted at SD Negeri 147 Pekanbaru, involving 60 teachers from various elementary schools in Pekanbaru City. The activity implementation method used a participatory approach through several stages, namely initial observation, focus group discussion (FGD), training, mentoring, and evaluation. The results of the activity showed that the CAR training had a significant impact on improving teachers' understanding, motivation, and skills in preparing proposals and implementing CAR. Teachers gained direct experience in designing, implementing, and reporting research results relevant to learning problems in the classroom. This activity also fostered a collaborative culture among teachers and strengthened reflective abilities in continuously improving learning practices. Thus, CAR training and mentoring activities have proven effective as a strategy for developing teacher professionalism in realizing quality learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini Bertujuan: Menganalisis Pengaruh Good Corporate Governance (GCG) Terhadap Kinerja Keuangan Pada Perusahaan Perbankan Yang Terdaftar Di Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2021-2024. Mekanisme GCG Yang Digunakan Dalam Penelitian Ini Meliputi Dewan Komisaris Independen, Kepemilikan Institusional, Dan Komite Audit. Kinerja Keuangan Diukur Menggunakan Return On Assets (ROA). Populasi Penelitian Adalah 47 Perusahaan Perbankan, Dengan Teknik Purposive Sampling Diperoleh 36 Perusahaan Sebagai Sampel Penelitian. Data Diperoleh Dari Laporan Tahunan Dan Laporan Keuangan Perusahaan Yang Dipublikasikan Melalui Situs Resmi BEI. Penelitian Ini Menggunakan Pendekatan Kuantitatif Dengan Metode Dokumentasi Terhadap Laporan Keuangan Perusahaan. Analisis Data Dilakukan Dengan Uji Asumsi Klasik, Analisis Regresi Linear Berganda, Dan Uji Hipotesis Menggunakan SPSS. Hasil Penelitian Menunjukkan Bahwa Kepemilikan Institusional dan Komite Audit Berpengaruh Positif Signifikan Terhadap Kinerja Keuangan. Dewan Komisaris Independen Berpengaruh Negatif Dan Signifikan Terhadap Kinerja Keuangan Perusahaan. Hal Ini Menunjukkan Bahwa Semakin Tinggi Jumlah Dewan Komisaris Independen Akan Mengurangi Kinerja Keuangan Perusahaan. Variabel Kepemilikan Institusional Berpengaruh Positif Dan Signifikan Terhadap Kinerja Keuangan Perusahaan. Temuan Ini Menunjukkan Bahwa Semakin Tinggi Kepemilikan Saham Institusional Akan Meningkatkan Kinerja Keuangan Perusahaan. Abstract

Terciptanya jalinan komunikasi yang harmonis menjadi indikator suatu aktivitas atau proses pembelajaran itu berjalan dengan baik. Proses pembelajaran dapat berhasil dengan baik, manakala seorang guru mampu mengubah diri dan kesadaran siswa untuk belajar, sehingga pengalaman yang diperolehnya selama ia terlibat di dalam proses pembelajaran itu, dapat dirasakan manfaatnya secara langsung bagi perkembangan dirinya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksplanatif. Penelitian ini disebut eksplanatif, karena login menggambarkan dan menjelaskan hubungan antar gejala atau antar fenomena atau variabel. Multiple intelligences atau disebut juga kecerdasan majemuk. Kecerdasan majemuk diklasifikasikan menjadi tiga kecerdasan yang harus dikembangkan oleh manusia yaitu IQ (kecerdasan intelektual), EQ (kecerdasan emosional), dan SQ (kecerdasan spiritual). Strategi multiple intelligences dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam pada SMPN di Watampone adalah suatu strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam pada SMPN di Watampone dengan memperhatikan keunikan pada diri siswa melalui berbagai potensi atau kecerdasan yang dimiliki siswa dan berbagai variasi cara belajar siswa. Implementasi strategi multiple intelligences dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam pada SMPN di Watampone terfokus pada strategi kecerdasan linguistik/verbal,logis-matematis, visual-spasiaL kinestetik/jasmaniah, musikal, interpersonal, intrapersonal, naturalis, dan spiritual.
