Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of differentiated instruction models in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) within the context of the Merdeka Curriculum, employing an inclusive approach to enhance comprehension of Islamic teachings. Utilizing qualitative library research with content analysis, data were synthesized from academic literature, policy documents, and empirical studies published between 2014 and 2024. Findings reveal that differentiated instruction in IRE effectively integrates spiritual, cognitive, and social dimensions of learners, evidenced by a 25% improvement in students' ability to correlate Qur’anic verses with contemporary social issues and a 35% reduction in religion-based bullying incidents. Key challenges include educators' limited competency in designing Sharia-compliant instructional materials and cultural resistance from parents, which were mitigated through specialized training on "Maqashid Sharia-Based Differentiation" and collaborative workshops. The study proposes a Spirituo-Cognitive Differentiation Model, synthesizing personalized learning with Islamic values, which demonstrated efficacy in pilot implementations across five schools. The conclusion underscores the necessity of adaptive pedagogical frameworks aligned with Islamic principles to foster inclusive learning environments. Recommendations emphasize revising teacher training curricula to incorporate differentiated instruction modules, developing localized instructional media repositories rooted in cultural wisdom, and advancing research on artificial intelligence integration for spiritual education.

Abstract

This study aims to deeply analyze the human resource development management model based on entrepreneurship at Pondok Pesantren Al-Ghoniyyah Selaawi, Garut. The research is motivated by the challenges faced by salafiah pesantrens in achieving economic independence without abandoning their Islamic traditional identity amid global changes, with only 15% of the 1,010 pesantrens in Garut operating sustainable business units. This research examines how the integration of the salafiah curriculum (Nahwu-Sharf, Fiqh, and Qur’an memorization) with student entrepreneurship programs can enhance the economic capacity of pesantrens. Using an intrinsic qualitative case study approach, data were collected through six months of participatory observation, in-depth interviews with kyai, management, students, business partners, as well as an analysis of financial documents and the Pesantren Endowment Fund (DAP) policies. The results show that implementing the Spiritual Entrepreneurship Management (SEM) model—which incorporates a syirkah muḍārabah profit-sharing system, quarterly sharia audits, marketing digitalization using the “PesantrenTech” platform, and collaboration with the Al-Ghoniyyah Center Foundation—led to a 121% increase in pesantren revenue over three years and encouraged 78% of graduate students to become independent entrepreneurs. The study recommends replicating the SEM model in other pesantrens throughout Garut by optimizing the DAP and synchronizing with the West Java OPOP (One Pesantren One Product) program. The findings assert that the integration of spiritual values, modern human resource management, and cross-sector partnerships is the key to strengthening pesantren economic independence based on Islamic values and local wisdom.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the Qur'anic Tahfiz Program in enhancing the Islamic personality of students at SMP IT Asy Syafiiyah, Leuwigoong, Garut Regency, focusing on religiosity, moral conduct, discipline, and the internalization of Qur'anic values. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with teachers, students, and parents, and analysis of curriculum documents and memorization achievements. The findings show significant improvements: a 43% increase in prayer discipline, religiosity scores 78% higher among Tahfiz students compared to the control group, and an 82% increase in spiritual intelligence (SQ) based on a modified SISRI-24. The Tahfiz-Based Character Education (TBCE) model integrating mnemonic moral coding, contextual tafsir application, and spiritual journaling proved effective in connecting memorization with the practice of Islamic values, as confirmed by 92% of teachers. Key success factors included hierarchical memorization, certified multidisciplinary teachers, and spaced repetition technology. However, 65% of parents lacked the capacity to support muroja’ah at home. The study concludes that Tahfiz programs foster holistic Islamic personality development and recommends parental coaching, neuroscience integration, and hybrid learning models

Abstract

This study investigates the management of Scout extracurricular activities in elementary schools as a strategy to counter declining student discipline, particularly amidst the growing influence of digital technology. Utilizing a qualitative case study approach, the research was conducted at SDN Tegallame and SDN Mulyasari, analyzing the implementation of Scout programs through G.R. Terry's Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling framework. Data were collected via participatory observation, in-depth interviews with principals, Scout coordinators, instructors, and students, and document analysis, subsequently analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. Findings reveal that systematic POAC management of Scout activities effectively fosters discipline, responsibility, independence, and leadership. Meticulous planning, involving student input, structures both routine and incidental experiential learning events. Clear organizing through a hierarchical structure with instructors as multifaceted mentors and students as patrol leaders cultivates responsibility and group management. Actuating emphasizes practical habituation, such as punctual attendance and task division, reinforced by comprehensive evaluation and reward systems to internalize Pancasila Student Profile values. Despite challenges in human resources, infrastructure, and funding, schools demonstrated adaptability through instructor training, stakeholder collaboration, facility optimization, and alternative funding, ensuring program sustainability. Evaluation consistently showed measurable improvements in student discipline and participation, including achievements in Scout competitions. This research addresses a critical gap by focusing on the management of Scout activities as a specific strategy for discipline improvement, especially in the context of digital-era challenges. The study's novelty lies in articulating a systematic, measurable, and adaptive Scout management model that integrates habituation, role modeling, task assignment, and continuous evaluation, offering a replicable template for educational institutions seeking to cultivate disciplined, resilient, and responsible students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the urgency of improving the professionalism of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in Indonesia in facing the challenges of the digital era and globalization, and to formulate a professional development model relevant to the needs of contemporary Islamic education. Using a library research approach with qualitative content analysis, this study examines primary and secondary literature from journals, books, policy documents, and research findings from the last ten years. The results indicate that the professionalism of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers must be developed holistically, encompassing the integration of pedagogical competencies, technological mastery, Islamic values, and active involvement in educational policy. The proposed professional development model, the Quadripartite Professionalism Framework, has been shown to improve digital literacy, reflective skills, and the effectiveness of Islamic values learning. The study's conclusions confirm that improving the professionalism of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers based on the integration of Islamic values and pedagogical innovation is crucial for building a generation of Muslims with character, critical thinking, and adaptability. This study provides strategic recommendations for the development of sustainable Islamic education policies and practices in Indonesia.

Abstract

People continue to argue about education for years. Both Islamic religious education and the education system in general make people curious. Muslims believe that their education system should be holistic. This means combining spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical development. It is based on teachings from the Qur'an and Hadith. This is done through qualitative research with a transcendental phenomenological approach. The study seeks to learn more about educators' experiences in helping autistic children learn. Qualitative research, as defined by its name, encourages an understanding of a subject through consideration of perceptions, motivations, behaviors and other aspects that help define it. This is achieved through the use of language and words to describe this experience holistically. . Formal education in Indonesia is in the form of Islamic education at the grassroots level. It is said that this is the first form of formal education in the country, especially at the national level. By fostering a general sense of learning rooted in respect, it is believed to have made a major contribution to Indonesia's current education system. It is clear that Islamic education plays a huge role in Indonesian culture. It is so pervasive throughout the country that students are encouraged to actively participate in public life to shape their character as Muslims and maintain their cultural and religious identity.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the integration of Islamic values into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning in secondary schools. In the era of globalization, STEM education is becoming increasingly important to prepare students for future challenges. However, education that only focuses on technical aspects without paying attention to spiritual and moral values can result in disorientation in students' lives. Therefore, this study proposes an approach that combines scientific aspects with Islamic values to create holistic learning. The research method used is qualitative with a literature study approach. Data was collected through observation and analysis of curriculum documents. The results of the study show that the integration of Islamic values in STEM learning can improve students' understanding of the relationship between science and religious teachings, as well as motivate them to apply the knowledge learned in daily life in accordance with Islamic principles. Consistent implementation and support from all schools are needed to ensure the sustainability of this program.
