Abstract

Background The Third International Consensus Definitions for Sepsis and Septic Shock (Sepsis-3) defined sepsis as life-threatening organ dysfunction due to immune dysregulation against infection. It recommends the Sequential (sepsis-related) Organ Failure Assessment (SOFA) score to evaluate life-threatening organ dysfunction. But the SOFA tool has not been adjusted for pediatric patients. The Indonesian Pediatrics Society (IPS) uses the same sepsis definition and recommends using the PELOD-2 score as an indicator of life-threatening organ dysfunction in children. Objective To evaluate the validity of the PELOD-2 score for predicting life-threatening organ dysfunction in pediatric sepsis. Methods A prospective cohort study was conducted in children with sepsis who were admitted to the PICU. Subjects were taken consecutively with inclusion criteria of 1 month-18 years of age, with organ dysfunction, having two or more symptoms of systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS), and suspected or proven infection. PELOD-2 score, with and without lactate result, of each subject were plotted to receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, then we determined the most optimal cut off point to predict the life-threathneing organ dysfunction in pediatric sepsis based on the sensitivity and specificity of each score. Results Sixty-six patients were analyzed, with 40 males and 26 females aged 2 to 183 months (median 11 months). Twenty patients died while in the PICU. A PELOD-2 score (with lactate) cut-off ≥ 7 was determined by ROC curve, with sensitivity of 80% and specificity of 78%. The area under the curve (AUC) of PELOD-2 score (with lactate) was 84.8% (95%CI 74.7 to 95.9%). A PELOD-2 score (without lactate) ≥ 7 was the most optimum cut off based on its Youden index, it haD 70% of sensitivity and 80% of specificity. Conclusion PELOD-2 score ≥ 7 , with or without lactate component is the optimal cut-off for predicting life-threatening organ dysfunction in pediatric sepsis.

Abstract

Background : Hydrocephalus is a disorder formation or absorption of fluid flow cerebrospinal. Number of cases of hydrocephalus in the world is quite high at around 0.5 -4 per 1000 live births while in Indonesia as much as 2-3 per 1000 live births. Ventriculoperitoneal shunt (VP shunt) is the main option in the treatment of hydrocephalus. One of the complications that occur in the installation of VP shunt was VP shunt malfunctions that happen as much as 25-40% especially in the first year after installation of VP shunt.Methods : The study was conducted on 169 hydrocephalus patients who performed the installation VP shunt in Haji Adam Malik Hospital Medan since January 2010 to December 2012. The data were analyzed using chi square and p values <0.05 were considered as significant.Results : In the 169 patients who performed the installation of VP shunt, 47 patients (27.8%) of them had VP shunt malfunction. Among the 47 patients who had malfunctions of VP shunt, 16 patients (40%) had shown increased of total cerebrospinal fluid protein and it had been statistically significant association between the incidence of VP shunt malfunction with cerebrospinal fluid protein levels (p = 0.049). While the examination of the number of cells in the cerebrospinal fluid of 47 patients who had VP shunt malfunctions, 14 patients (36%) had shown the increasing of number of cells in the cerebrospinal fluid and this indicates that the relationship of the incidence of VP shunt malfunction with the number of cells in the cerebrospinal fluid was not statistically significant (p =0.199).Conclusion : There is a significant correlation between cerebrospinal fluid protein levels with the incidence of VP shunt malfunction. While the number of cells in the cerebrospinal fluid showed no significant correlation with the incidence of VP shunt malfunctions.Keywords : Malfunction; VP shunt; protein; cel count; cerebrospinal fluid; Hydrocephalus

Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan dan mengembangkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mahasiswa dan alumni mengenai wirausaha mahasiswa tata rias dan kecantikan menuju digital social entrepreneurship serta memberikan keterampilan make up pengantin. Pemecahan masalah tersebut dilakukan dengan 1) Mengumpulkan anggota Program Pengembangan Kewirausahaan (PPK) (alumni dan mahasiswa) Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Rias dan Kecantikan sebanyak 10 Orang, 2) untuk mengetahui permasalahan dalam pengembangan usaha secara mandiri, 3) Mencari informasi kebutuhan apa yang dibutuhkan oleh anggota Program Kewirausahaan Kampus (PKK) (Alumni dan mahasiswa) tersebut dalam mengatasi masalah. 4) Melakukan pelatihan sesuai dengan kebutuhan dalam mengatasi masalah. Hasil yang diperoleh melalui kegiatan pelatihan yaitu sebagai berikut: Pertama, peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang make up pengantin. Kedua, peserta dapat mempraktekkan secara langsung pengaplikasian make-up pengantin pada model. Ketiga, dalam menjalankan usaha peserta mendapatkan pelatihan tentang berwirausaha teknik promosi menuju digital social entrepreneurship dan menggunakan media sosial untuk berwirausaha pada bidang kecantikan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning application of Islamic religious education with a multicultural perspective at State Junior High Schools in Siak Hulu District, Kampar. The focus of this research is to discuss how is the implementation of Islamic Religious Education material with a multicultural perspective? What methods are applied in learning Islamic Religious Education with a multicultural perspective? And how is the evaluation of Islamic Religious Education learning with a multicultural perspective in State Junior High Schools in Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. This research is a Qualitative Research, with a Case Study Approach. Data were collected by using observation, interviews, and documentation. Furthermore, the results of these techniques are selected in accordance with the focus of the study. To see the validity of the data, data triangulation technique was applied, and then it is continued with drawing conclusions. After that, thorough research was conducted on the implementation of Islamic religious education with a multicultural perspective at Junior High Schools id Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. It can be concluded that: the appropriate material for Islamic Education with a multicultural perspective is to reconcile the country with tolerance, with the aim of learning so that we can live in harmony in the life of the nation and state. To find out the level of understanding of students, it can be seen in the learning process of Islamic Religious Education with a multicultural perspective and can be measured by religious and social attitudes. Various kinds of discussion methods are used in learning Islamic Religious Education with a multicultural perspective with the aim of making learning more enjoyable and raise students’ enthusiasm, thereby making it easier for teachers and students to learn, by showing the behavior of students who respect each other, tolerance and mutual respect.

Abstract

This purpose of this study was to found whether effect Profit Quality, Income Smoothing, and Financial Distress on Company Value (Empirical Study of Mining Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019-2021 period). The sample drawn by purposive sampling and fulfill sample selection criteria. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression method. The results of the study show that the variable Earning Quality has an effect on Firm Value, while the Income Smoothing and Financial Distress variable has no effect on Firm Value. The results of simultaneous research on Profit Quality, Income Smoothing, and Financial Distress has an effect on Firm Value.

Abstract

Pengaruh kualitas pengajaran dosen terhadap IP mahasiswa Palangka Raya tahun 2022 dapat diketahui dengan melakukan penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan strategi pengumpulan data berbasis kuesioner dan metode survei kuantitatif. Sebanyak 100 responden dipilih dari populasi 449 mahasiswa Palangkaraya untuk sampel tahun ajaran 2022. Nilai akhir mahasiswa di Perguruan Tinggi Palangkarayaserta kualitas mengajar dosen ditemukan sedang, menurut temuan penelitian ini. Nilai akhir mahasiswa sangat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas pengajaran dosen. Meskipun demikian, tidak serta merta variabel mempengaruhi IP mahasiswa, namun hal ini juga dapat dilihat dari keinginan mahasiswa untuk mengejar ujiannya.

Abstract

This paper aims to determine the attitude of the commentators on munasabah in the interpretation of the Qur'an and the interpretation of M. Quraish Shihab towards the munasabah verse with the verse after it in QS. Al-Isra' on Tafsir Al-Misbah. This research is a qualitative research. Primary data sources in the form of Tafsir Al-Misbah by M. Quraish Shihab Volume 7, and secondary sources in the form of the book "Discourse on Al-Qur'an Munasabah in Tafsir Al-Misbah" by Hasani Ahmad Said and books on the 'ulum of the Qur'an' is related to the customer. Based on the analysis conducted, the research concludes that: 1) The attitudes of the scholars of interpretation towards munasabah are divided into three. First, there are those who agree (pro), second, there are those who do not agree (con), and thirdly, there are neither pro nor contra. 2) The munasabah verse with the verse after it in the QS. Al-Isra' in Tafsir Al-Misbah is 27 munasabah, which consists of several categories: tanzir (comparison) is mentioned 7 times, the letter ataf is mentioned 3 times, mudaddah (opposite) is mentioned 3 times, at-takhallus (transition) mentioned 7 times, istitrad (continued mention) is mentioned 7 times, tafsir (explanation) is mentioned 24 times, ta'kid (affirmation) is mentioned 9 times, i'tirad (refutation) is mentioned 3 times. Keywords: Munasabah, QS. Al-Isra ', and Tafsir Al-Misbah Abstrak Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sikap para ulama tafsir tentang munasabah dalam penafsiran Al-Qur’an dan penafsiran M. Quraish Shihab terhadap munasabah ayat dengan ayat sesudahnya dalam QS. Al-Isra’ pada Tafsir Al-Misbah. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data primer berupa Tafsir Al-Misbah karya M. Quraish Shihab Volume 7, dan sumber sekunder berupa buku “Diskursus munasabah Al-Qur’an dalam Tafsir Al-Misbah” karya Hasani Ahmad Said serta buku-buku tentang ‘ulum Al-Qur’an berkaitan dengan munasabah. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan Langkah (1) mengumpulkan ayat-ayat yang mengandung munasabah (2) mengkategorisasi ayat-ayat yang bermunasabah, (2) menganalisa melalui tafsir al-misbah. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan, penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa: 1) Sikap para ulama tafsir terhadap munasabah terbagi menjadi tiga. Pertama, ada yang menyetujui (pro), kedua, ada yang tidak menyetujui (kontra), dan ketiga, tidak pro dan juga tidak kontra. 2) Adapun munasabah ayat dengan ayat sesudahnya dalam QS. Al-Isra’ pada Tafsir Al-Misbah berjumlah 27 munasabah, yakni terdiri dari beberapa kategori: tanzir (perbandingan) 7 kali, huruf ataf 3 kali, mudaddah (berlawanan) 3 kali, at-takhallus (peralihan) 7 kali, istitrad (penyebutan lanjutan) 7 kali, tafsir (peknjelasan) 24 kali, ta’kid (penegasan) 9 kali, i’tirad (bantahan) 3 kali. Abstract

Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan Merupakan Jalan Kolektor Sekunder 2 lajur 1 arah tidak terbagi (2/1 UD) sebagai jalan menuju pusat Kota Bukittinggi. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis kinerja ruas Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan yang ditinjau dari volume lalu lintas, Kapasitas, Tingkat Pelayanan (LOS). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode MKJI 1997 dengan mengumpulkan data primer, berupa geometrik jalan, volume lalu lintas, yang diperoleh langsung di lokasi penelitian, dan data sekunder, berupa data jumlah penduduk. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh volume Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, hasil data volume keseluruhan yang dihitung pada Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan volume lalu lintas terbesar yaitu pada siang hari Sabtu, 30 Desember 2024 pukul 12:45-13:45 WIB dengan volume lalu lintas tertinggi sebesar 843,5 SMP/jam. Tingkat pelayanan (LOS / Level Of Service) pada ruas Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan hasil data yang berhasil didapat berdasarkan V/C ratio lalu lintas 0,71, dan di dapat nilai LOS yaitu “C” dimana untuk klasifikasi jalan arus terbilang lancar, kecepatan masih dikendalikan, V/C masih dapat ditolelir. Rekomendasi yang disarankan yaitu dengan di lakukannya  penertiban lahan parkir untuk pengendara sepeda motor dan disediakan nya tempat khusus untuk mobil angkutan kota (angkot) untuk menunggu penumpang serta pemasangan rambu-rambu dilarang berhenti dan rambu-rambu dilarang parkir. Dengan solusi tersebut diharapkan dapat mengurangi dan menghindari terjadinya kemacetan dan gangguan lalu lintas di Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan.Kata kunci: Volume lalu lintas,, Kapasitas Ruas Jalan dan Tingkat pelayanan (LOS)

Abstract

The prospect of laying hens business in Indonesia is considered very good in terms of domestic and foreign markets, when viewed from the supply and demand side. The laying hens business has good business prospects. This researcher aims to determine whether the amount of production is able to meet the market demand expected by CV.Prian Men. Based on the problems encountered, the purpose of this study is to provide empirical evidence in order to increase the amount of production in order to be able to meet market demand.The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data can be obtained directly by interviewing business owners. And secondary data can be generated through data collection using the results of the financial test that has been done.Based on the analysis of CV Prian's laying hens production business in Purwosari Village, Natar District, South Lampung, what has been done can be concluded that it is economically feasible to do. With details Payback period (PP) Value (PP), Net Present Value (NPV) so that the business is economically feasible and profitable to realize. Furthermore, the value of the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) shows a feasible result to be developed,. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, it shows that the Laying Chicken Production Business owned by CV Prian in Purwosari Village, Natar District, South Lampung is quite good to be implemented, and has good prospects for development. Thus developing this business can meet the needs of eggs throughout Natar and outside the region.

Abstract

Kejaksaan ialah lembaga negara yang memiliki tugas serta kewenangan melaksanakan aturan hukum yang ditetapkan oleh Undang-undang. Kejaksaan sebagai aparat penegak hukum memiliki wewenang untuk menyelesaikan kasus pidana lewat upaya pendekatan restorative justice. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari terbitnya Peraturan Kejaksaan RI No. 15 Tahun 2020 tentang Penghentian Penuntutan Berdasarkan Perpektif Restoratif Justice. Restorative justice ialah usaha menyelesaikan kasus pidana lewat jalur diluar pengadilan dengan cara melibatkan korban, pelaku, keluarga korban atau pelaku, serta pihak-pihak terkait lainnya guna secara bersama menemukan penyelesaian perkara yang seadil-adilnya dengan mengutamakan pemulihan kembali terhadap kondisi sediakala dan bukan merupakan suatu pembalasan. Restorative Justice mulai populer dan diadaptasikan pada sistem hukum negara Indonesia pasca ditetapkannya UU No.  11 Tahun 2012 Tentang Sistem Peradilan Pidana Anak. Karya tulis ini meneliti tentang bagaimana pelaksanaan pendekatan restorative.justice pada perkara laka lantas anak pada Kejaksaan Negeri Bangka Tengah. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah metode Yuridis Sosiologis. Hasil dari penelitian ini bisa disimpulkan bahwasanya pelaksanaan restorative justice mulai diterapkan dengan cukup baik oleh Kejaksaan Negeri Bangka Tengah, hal ini bisa dicermati dari adanya beberapa perkara yang diselesaikan menggunakan prinsip restorative justice. Kejaksaan Negeri Bangka mulai mengedepankan hati nurani dan melakukan berbagai pertimbangan dengan cermat dan terukur guna mewujudkan rasa keadilan bagi masyarakat.
