Abstract

This study aims to investigate the integration of technology in the preparation of prospective teachers for educational management through the curriculum in Ghana. Utilizing a qualitative approach, the study analyzes how technology is embedded in learning and how prospective teachers respond to it in the context of education management. The main focus of this research is on the concept and use of technology in the educational process to enhance the understanding and skills of prospective teachers.  However, the study found that the curriculum policies, structure, and guidelines for pre-service teachers lack a clear vision for effectively integrating technology. Interviews with policymakers indicated their recognition of the importance of technology integration but also revealed the lack of investment hindered its progress. Drawing on the study's findings and existing research, context-specific recommendations are proposed, focusing on promoting innovative technology-based pedagogical models and developing effective leadership. The study involved participants from a teacher preparation program in Ghana, with data collection conducted through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and curriculum document analysis. Data were analyzed using an inductive approach to identify common patterns in technology integration and prospective teachers' responses to it. The results of this study are expected to provide insights into the extent to which technology is integrated in the teacher preparation curriculum in Ghana, as well as its impact on teacher candidates' readiness to manage education. The practical implications of this study can provide recommendations for improving the teacher education curriculum, adapting teaching strategies to technological developments, and increasing the effectiveness of teacher preparation in the digital era. The findings can provide valuable guidance for policy makers, educational institutions and educators to ensure that prospective teachers have the relevant and necessary skills to face future educational demands.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the evaluation of the Hammalatul Qur'an Program at SDIT Rabbi Radhiyya 02 Rejang Lebong in improving teachers’ reading and memorization of the Qur'an. To know the achievement level of the goal had been set, an evaluation was needed related to its management functions, planning, implementation, checking/evaluation and corrective action activities on the implementation of the program. In its implementation, the Plan Do Check and Act (PDCA) approach was applied. This study aimed to determine the extent to which teachers have mastered and achieved the objectives of the program. The information obtained from the evaluation using the PDCA model became the feedback to the implementation of the program and itwould be used to improve the Hammalatul Qur'an program in the future. This research method employed a descriptive qualitative approach, in which the data were collected through observation and interviews to the Hammalatul Qur'an team, and supported by some related literature. The research data were reduced and presented, then analyzed for several conclusions. The results showed that planning (Plan) stage createdthree formulation products, namelyvision, mission and objectives of the program. Implementation (Do) stage was in the forms of regular training. Evaluation (Check) stage was done byhaving initial tests and final tests for the program. The follow-up (Act) stage was by issuing a report card ofHammalatul Qur'an and the coaching session.

Abstract

Background: A major challenge in producing yogurt powder (YP) is the need for drying technology that maintains probiotic viability. In Small-Medium Enterprises (SMEs), adoption of such technologies to extend shelf life remains limited. The Fluidized Bed Dryer (FBD) provides a relatively simple method for producing YP from local legumes and salak. Objectives: To analyze the amount of Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB), Dietary Fiber (DF), and Nutritional Content (NC) in local legumes and Salak Flour (SF) that is processed with a FBD. Methods: An experimental design with four treatments was applied: Mungbean (MYP), Garut Redbean (RYP), Manonjaya Salak-Mungbean (MS-MYP), and Manonjaya Salak-Garut Redbean Yogurt Powder (MS-RYP). Parameters measured included microbiological properties, DF, and NC (total calories, calories from fat, ash, moisture, carbohydrate, fat, protein, sugar, cholesterol, sodium, zinc, iron, and calcium). Differences in NC were analyzed using the Kruskal-Wallis test. Results: All YP samples contained LAB counts above the Indonesian National Standard (8 x 108 - 1 x 1010 cfu/g). DF content was higher in YP with added SF. Total ash, iron, and calcium were also higher in legume-based YP supplemented with SF, whereas sodium content was lower. Other nutrient levels were comparable between formulations with or without SF. Conclusions: Local legume YP added with SF contains higher levels of LAB, DF, total ash, iron, and calcium than legume YP alone.

Abstract

Academic procrastination and low learning motivation can hinder students’ achievement. This study aims to determine the effect of group counseling services using the behavior contract technique on reducing academic procrastination and increasing learning motivation. The research employed a quasi-experimental design with purposive sampling, involving two eleventh-grade classes (around 60 students) divided into experimental and control groups. Instruments used were academic procrastination and learning motivation questionnaires with a Likert scale, analyzed using MANOVA. The results showed that group counseling with the behavior contract technique had a significant effect in reducing procrastination and increasing learning motivation. In the experimental group, the average procrastination score decreased from 98.3 to 52.8, while learning motivation increased from 44.3 to 101.2. The MANOVA test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant effect on students at SMK Negeri 1 Kotabumi, North Lampung.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren) play a strategic role in shaping students' character and religious attitudes, which are reflected not only in adherence to religious rituals but also in the ability to internalize spiritual values in daily life. However, not all students are able to develop religious attitudes optimally. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the existential-humanistic counseling approach in enhancing students' religious character at Pondok Pesantren Al Khalifah. A literature review method with a qualitative approach was used, involving guidance and counseling teachers and students as the primary subjects. The findings indicate that the existential-humanistic counseling approach—emphasizing empathetic counselor-student relationships, unconditional acceptance, and the enhancement of self-awareness—is effective in helping students understand personal responsibility and freedom in practicing religious teachings. This approach also encourages deep exploration of life’s meaning and spiritual values, fostering authentic and meaningful religious attitudes. Furthermore, it supports students in dealing with existential anxiety and facilitates the conscious internalization of Islamic teachings with a strong sense of accountability. In conclusion, existential-humanistic counseling significantly contributes to the development of strong, independent, and devout religious character within the pesantren educational context.

Abstract

Sektor pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor terbesar dalam perekonomian dunia. Wisata pantai biru merupakan salah satu desa wisata yang ada di Kabupaten Bangkalan khususnya di Kecamatan Tanjung Bumi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi peran industri yang ada di wisata pantai biru serta bentuk apa saja keterlibatannya. Jika identifikasi sudah dilakukan maka langkah selanjutnya yang dilakukan adalah menyusun sebuah strategi dalam meningkatkan peran industri rumah tangga di Desa Telaga Biru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis SWOT. Adapun strategi yang diperoleh dari hasil penghitungan SWOT yaitu 1) Menjalin hubungan kerjasama antara pihak industri melalui event-event wisata, 2) Bantuan pemerintah perlu dilakukan dengan bersifat continue guna mencegah terjadinya koordinasi yang lemah antara industri dengan program wisata, dan 3) Meningkatkan pelatihan bagi pihak industri dan wisata untuk mengembangkan potensi industri.The tourism sector is one of the largest sectors in the world economy. Blue beach tourism is one of the tourist villages in Bangkalan Regency, especially in Tanjung Bumi District. The purpose of this research is to identify the role of the industry in blue beach tourism and what forms of involvement. If the identification has been carried out, the next step to be taken is to develop a strategy to increase the role of the household industry in Telaga Biru Village. The method used in this study is SWOT analysis. The strategies obtained from the results of the SWOT calculation are 1) Establishing cooperative relationships between the industry through tourism events, 2) Government support needs to be carried out in a continuous manner to prevent weak coordination between the industry and tourism programs, and 3) Increasing training for industry and tourism to develop industrial potential.

Abstract

Problematika Lembaga pendidikan Islam harus segera diselesaikan dan dikembalikan kepada makna pendidikan dan tujuan pendidikan Nasional. Seperti permasalahan di Kota Jambi memiliki 3 (tiga) permasalahan: kekurangan infrastruktur, tidak adanya pemerataan guru dan tanah sekolah/madrasah yang banyak tidak memiliki bersertifikat. Fakta itu terungkap dari pengumpulan data yang dilakukan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Komisi D Kota Jambi di beberapa SD-MI, SMP-Mts dan SMA-MA se-Kota Jambi. Pemerataan guru dan meningkatkan kemampuan pendidik menciptakan suasana dari pengalaman belajar bervariasi dalam pengelolaan peserta didik yang memenuhi kurikulum yang disiapkan, memiliki pemahaman wawasan atau landasan kependidikan, memiliki pemahaman terhadap peserta didik, mampu mengembangkan kurikulum atau silabus, mampu menyusun rancangan pembelajaran, melaksanakan pembelajaran yang mendidik dan dialogis, melakukan evaluasi hasil belajar dengan prosedur yang benar, mampu mengembangkan potensi peserta didik untuk mengaktualkan berbagai potensi yang dimilikinya. Menerapkan Sistem Desentralisasi dengan pemahaman yang baik dan benar yaitu desentralisasi merupakan salah satu strategi dalam suatu proses pembangunan guna mangatasi berbagai hambatan institusional fisik maupun hambatan-hambatan administrasi terutama permasalahan sertifikat tanah sekolah. Pemerintah harus menjalankan tugas dan fungsinya yaitu dengan mengatur dan mengawasi penyelenggaraan pendidikan sesuai dengan perundang-undangan yang berlaku.

Abstract

Abstrak Tingginya protein dan asam glutamat yang dimiliki oleh ikan biang berpotensi sebagai penyedap rasa. Bahan baku yang digunakan sebagai penyedap rasa mesti berasal dari ikan segar. Faktor penentu ikan segar adalah sistem pengangkutan ikan sejak ditangkap hingga sampai ke konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen yaitu diawali dengan pembuatan tepung ikan biang dilanjutkan dengan bubuk penyedap rasa ikan biang dengan konsentrasi berbeda. Tujuan penelitian menentukan perlakuan pemberian tepung ikan biang terbaik dalam membuat penyedap rasa. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non-faktorial dengan 4 taraf perlakuan yaitu P0 (Tanpa tepung ikan biang), P1 (60 g tepung ikan biang), P2 (70 g tepung ikan biang), P3 (80 g tepung ikan biang) dari 1000 g berat bahan. Masing-masing perlakuan dilakukan tiga kali ulangan, sehingga satuan percobaan sebanyak 12 unit. Parameter yang diuji dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kadar air, abu, lemak, dan protein. Hasil analisis proksimat perlakuan P2 sebagai perlakuan terbaik berdasarkan organoleptik (masukkan nilai organoleptiknya) pada nilai kadar air yaitu 4,71%; abu 22,21%; lemak 3,35%; dan protein 10,89%. Abstract

Guru merupakan salah satu kunci sukses pencapaian tujuan pendidikan. Guru yang memiliki kompeten akan mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang menyenangkan bagi murid dan menuntun mereka mencapai hasil yang maksimal. Oleh karena itu, meningkatkan kompetensi guru menjadi sebuah hal yang penting untuk dioptimalkan. Pelatihan guru transformatif sebagai pengimbasan Program Guru Penggerak berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru sesuai dengan Perdirjen GTK Kemendikbudristek Nomor 2626/B/HK.24.01/2023 tentang model kompetensi Guru. Pengabdian ini dilakukan di lingkup Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Ciamis dengan melibatkan beberapa rekan yang menjadi fasilitator dan instruktur Program Guru Penggerak yang diharapkan dapat berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi guru. Kompetensi guru sangat berperan penting dalam mempengaruhi kualitas pembelajaran di kelas, dan hal tersebut akan mendorong hasil belajar murid sehingga akan bermuara terhadap meningkatnya mutu Pendidikan. Metode dilakukan dengan melakukan pelatihan blended terhadap guru TK, SD, dan SMP sebanyak 150 orang guru di lingkungan Dinas Pendidikan. Melalui Pelatihan guru transformatif, peserta mampu memiliki kompetensi yang dibutuhkan oleh sekolah dalam mendidik murid sesuai dengan Kebijakan Merdeka Belajar.

Abstract

Malaysia is one of the countries with the largest Muslim population in Southeast Asia after Indonesia. Kedah, often referred to as the “Serambi Makkah,” has a strong tradition of Islamic education. However, modernization requires institutions such as Kolej Islam Darul Ulum (KIDU) to renew their curricula to stay relevant to contemporary scientific development. The main challenge faced by the partner institution is designing an integrated curriculum that connects Qur’anic sciences with modern disciplines. Indonesia has extensive experience in knowledge integration through conceptual frameworks and institutional practices. This dissemination program aims to provide academic insights on democracy, the philosophical framework of Islamic education, and integrated curriculum development relevant to KIDU’s needs. The method used is collaborative and participatory through academic lectures, dialogic forums, and institutional exchange. The program began with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Postgraduate School of UIN Prof. K.H. Saifuddin Zuhri (UIN SAIZU) and KIDU as a basis for strengthening the tridharma collaboration. KIDU presented its current academic policy through the development of an integrated curriculum based on a scientific exegesis of Juz 30. The presenter delivered three key themes: democracy and Islamic education in post-reform Indonesia, integrative curriculum characteristics, and the religious-nationalist orientation of Indonesian Islamic education. The results show strategic contributions to institutional capacity building, academic networking, and collaborative research prospects. The program implies the applicability of integrative models and the sustainability of transnational academic dialogue. In conclusion, this dissemination successfully created an exchange platform for developing modern Islamic curricula in Southeast Asia.
