Abstract

Fire is a primary non-natural disaster threat in densely populated urban areas like Depok City. This community service program aims to enhance community capacity in Limo District through fire risk mitigation and household prevention techniques. The implementation method involved focus group discussions with community leaders and participatory education utilizing presentations, posters, and flyers. Community knowledge was measured through pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The results demonstrated a significant increase in fire safety literacy, with knowledge scores rising from 78.11% to 89.19%. The program's success was driven by active citizen participation and strong support from village officials and local leaders. These findings emphasize that multi-stakeholder collaboration and communicative visual education approaches are crucial prerequisites for building community self-reliance in fire disaster mitigation within urban environments.

Abstract

Background: In 2020, Indonesia’s maternal mortality rate (MMR) was 189 per 100,000 live births, well above the SDGs target of 70. High-risk pregnancies significantly contribute to maternal deaths, especially in rural areas with socioeconomic challenges. Disparities in education, income, and healthcare access influence pregnant women’s health-seeking behaviors. ObjectiveThis study aimed to examine the relationship between socioeconomic determinants and pregnancy risk and to develop an evidence-based, community-focused health promotion model that addresses these socioeconomic factors in rural settings. Methods: A cross-sectional study involved 130 pregnant women in the Puskesmas Tirto 1 area, Pekalongan Regency, Central Java. Data collection used structured questionnaires, analyzed via binary logistic regression. A theoretical framework guided community-based health promotion recommendations. Results:  The analysis revealed that age, parity, education, and income collectively affected pregnancy risk (p=0.033). Individually, only income had a significant effect (p=0.039; Exp(B)=0.380; 95% CI: 0.150–0.962), indicating higher income reduces high-risk pregnancy likelihood. Age, parity, and education were not significant predictors. Conclusion: Economic factors are the strongest predictors of pregnancy risk among the variables studied. Maternal health programs in rural areas should incorporate socioeconomic-based strategies through community empowerment, improved healthcare access, and targeted health education.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of the Musyarakah Mutanaqisah (MMQ) contract at BMT Amanah Berkah Mandiri in Bandung City as an alternative model for Islamic microfinance. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with 8 informants (1 financing manager, 2 operational staff, 5 business partners), three months of field observation, and document review. Findings reveal that MMQ is implemented through five stages: feasibility assessment, joint capital agreement (BMT 70%, partner 30%), business operation, gradual ownership reduction over 24–36 months, and full ownership transfer. Key challenges include low Islamic financial literacy among partners (4 out of 5 did not understand the mutanaqisah mechanism prior to education), limited initial capital at the BMT, and the absence of standardized operational procedures. Nevertheless, MMQ proves more equitable than murabahah by applying proportional profit-sharing and fostering partner independence. This study contributes a practical framework for MMQ implementation in Islamic microfinance institutions. Limitations include a single-site design and restricted access to detailed financial data.

Abstract

Ditulis The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of learning outcomes of grade II students in the PPKn subject of Home Rules material after using the PjBL (Project Based Learning) learning model. This research uses PTK (Classroom Action Research) which is carried out in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of one meeting. The stages of each cycle are planning, execution, observation and reflection. Based on the results of the study, when compared from cycle I to cycle II there was a significant increase in learning outcomes where in cycle I an average value of 69 was obtained increased in cycle II to 80. Then the number of students who completed in the first cycle was 13 people with a completion percentage of 57% increased in the second cycle to 21 students who completed with a percentage of learning completeness after using the project based learning learning model, amounting to 91%. And likewise with the required classical completeness of ≥80 has been achieved, thus this research was stopped until cycle II. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the use of a project-based learning model can improve the learning outcomes of grade II students of SDN 1 Buntalan, Klaten District, Mid-Academic Year 2022 / 2023.

Abstract

PT PLN (Persero) West Java Development Main Unit (UIPJBB) has used an information system to make it easier for employees to access information and personnel activities such as attendance, leave, CV, information on the stages of requesting an Official Travel Letter (SPPD), and other related information. with staffing by using a web called Employee Self Service (ESS). The quality of ESS web services has never been measured based on user perceptions and levels of importance or expectations. This study intends to analyze the quality of the ESS web using WebQual 4.0 as a questionnaire consisting of three dimensions in the form of Usability, Information Quality, and Service Interaction dimensions, as well as using the IPA method to analyze the level of conformity, compliance (GAP), and quadrants. The results of the level of conformity obtained from 22 statements were still below 100%. The test result statistic shows Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) worth 0,000 means that there is a gap between Importance and Performance on the ESS website of PT PLN (Persero) UIPJBB. The average of the overall level of conformity is obtained 93.53%, which means that the performance on the web ESS is still below Importance and users are still not satisfied. While the results of GAP analysis are -0.262 <0, then the quality of performance is still lacking and cannot meet the interests of users.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effectiveness of ethnomathematics-based learning in mathematics learning. This research is a library research with a qualitative approach. The method of collecting data is by means of document studies and analyzed by technical descriptive analysis. Library research is research whose data comes from books, dictionaries, documents, magazines, journals and so on. (Harahap, 2014) While the analytical technique used is descriptive analysis technique by looking at research data that has been done by previous people related to ethnomathematical research. This is evidenced by research studies that have been carried out by researchers who have done previously which will be mentioned in the discussion of this research. Therefore, ethnomathematics can be used by teachers in conducting effective and fun learning, besides that ethnomathematics can improve students' mathematical abilities such as the results of research that will be discussed in this discussion and can increase the love of students to understand their own culture.

Abstract

Bahal Temple is a Vajrayana Buddhist temple complex located in Bahal Village, Padang Bolak District, North Padang Lawas Regency, North Sumatra Province. This temple complex consists of three main buildings, namely Biaro Bahal I, Biaro Bahal II, and Biaro Bahal III, which are arranged in a straight line and constructed using red bricks. In addition to its high historical and cultural value, Bahal Temple also contains various mathematical concepts that can be studied through an ethnomathematical approach. This study aims to identify and describe the mathematical concepts embedded in the structure and ornaments of Bahal Temple and to analyze its potential as a source of contextual mathematics learning at the junior and senior high school levels. The research method used is a qualitative study with a descriptive-ethnographic approach through observation, documentation, and literature review. The results show that Bahal Temple contains concepts of solid geometry, symmetry, repeating patterns, as well as ratio and proportion. These findings indicate that Bahal Temple has great potential as a meaningful and contextual source of ethnomathematics learning

Abstract

Ethnomathematics is an approach that connects mathematics with the culture of society. Traditional games, as part of local culture, contain various mathematical activities that can be utilized in learning. This study aims to examine the ethnomathematical elements in the traditional game eklek and to analyze its potential as a learning medium for geometry in elementary schools. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with an ethnographic perspective through observation, documentation, and analysis of the structure of the playing field. The results show that the eklek game contains plane figure concepts such as squares, rectangles, trapezoids, and semicircles, as well as concepts of measurement, number patterns, symmetry, and spatial reasoning. The use of the eklek game in mathematics learning can increase student engagement, conceptual understanding, and positive attitudes toward mathematics
