Abstract

This Research was conducted aiming to determine the effect of liquidity, leverage, firm size and institusional ownership on financial performance.the population in this study is 33 health sector companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. By using the purposive sampling method, a sample of 13 companies was obtained. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression analysis using the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) Version 22 Program. The result of this study indicate that liquidity have a positive and significant effect on financial performance, leverage have a negative and significant effect on financial performance while firm size and institusional ownership have no effect on financial performance.

Abstract

The rare of English in Indonesia in communicating in everyday life one of the reasons students have difficulty in memorizing and understanding English. Because of this, the author made a study that aims ti find out how much influence the Total Physical Response (TPR) learning method hason the learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students at SDN Lemah Duhur III. This research uses a quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest experiment. Giving pretest ang posttest question, student interviews and observations during learning took place as a source of data that researchers obtained. A total of 10 fourth grade students who participated in English learning activities in memorizing and understanding Engtlish using the TPR method became research subjects. The research show the results of significant increase between before using the TPR methode and after using TPR method.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are a crucial indicator in the educational process, as they not only establish a strong academic foundation but also contribute to the development of essential life skills relevant to future demands. One instructional model considered effective in supporting these achievements is Realistic Mathematics Education (RME), which emphasizes conceptual understanding through meaningful and real-life contexts for students. This research uses a qualitative approach. The research subjects are mathematics teachers at the aforementioned schools. The informants in this study are mathematics teachers. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings of the study are as follows: 1) The steps of the RME model include understanding contextual problems in learning materials, explaining the contextual problems, solving the contextual problems, comparing and discussing answers, and drawing conclusions; 2) The advantages of the RME model are enhancing students’ conceptual understanding, encouraging mathematical thinking, developing mathematical modeling skills, and fostering reflective and collaborative attitudes; 3) The disadvantages of the RME model include difficulties in finding suitable contextual problems, the incompatibility of certain mathematical topics with contextualization, the requirement for high teacher competence, longer instructional time, and more complex assessment processes. The conclusion of this study is that the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) model can be implemented in the teaching process as an effort to improve learning outcomes at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah or lower secondary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the determinants of the quality of government financial reports with a focus on the role of human resource (HR) competency through a systematic literature review. Based on the analysis of 10 selected articles, it was found that HR competency has a variety of influences on the quality of financial reports, ranging from significant positive to insignificant, depending on the context and moderating variables. Several studies have shown that human resource competency has a direct or indirect effect through mediators such as information quality or internal control systems. On the other hand, other studies have revealed that factors such as information technology, accounting systems, and internal control often have a more dominant impact. These findings highlight the importance of a holistic approach that combines improving HR competency with strengthening supporting systems to achieve optimal financial report quality. The implications of this research can be a reference for the government and stakeholders in designing effective HR development and financial governance policies.

Abstract

Salah satu komponen penting pada tubuh manusia adalah darah. Darah menjadi alat utama untuk distribusi, transportasi dan sirkulasi di dalam tubuh. Rata-rata jumlah volume darah manusia berkisar antara 6-8% dari berat tubuh atau 5 liter yang terdiri dari komponen plasma darah (55%) dan eritrosit (45%). Persediaan darah menjadi sangat penting bagi masyarakat yang sedang sakit dan membutuhkannya. Transfusi darah dibutuhkan oleh pasien yang mengalami kekurangan darah akibat kecelakaan, pasien yang sedang operasi besar, pasien yang memiliki penyakit darah seperti leukimia, hemofilia dan thalassemia. Masyarakat Indonesia memiliki tanggung jawab dan peran penting melakukan kegiatan donor darah supaya persediaan darah di PMI tetap terjaga. Kegiatan donor darah dapat menjunjung tinggi semangat kebersamaan dan nilai kemanuasiaan untuk membantu seluruh umat manusia yang berasal dari latar belakang yang berbeda-beda. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah, memberikan informasi pada peserta tentang pentingnya perawatan pasca donor darah,memberikan informasi pada peserta tentang tips dan langkah – langkah pemulihan, emberikan informasi pada peserta tentang tanda – tanda yang perlu diwaspadai, memberikan informasi pada peserta tentang rekomendasi frekuensi donor darah. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat tentang Upaya Optimalisasi kesehatan Tubuh Pasca Donor Darah: Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Berbasis Edukasi dan Pemantauan ini berlokasi di Kampus Institut Kesehatan dan Teknologi Kartini Batam. Khalayak sasaran untuk kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah peserta donor darah yang berjumlah 31 orang. Sebanyak 92% peserta menyatakan belum pernah mendapatkan edukasi sebelumnya mengenai upaya menjaga kesehatan tubuh setelah donor darah. Setelah diberikan edukasi, 85% peserta menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman mengenai pentingnya konsumsi makanan bergizi (khususnya tinggi zat besi dan vitamin C), istirahat cukup, dan hidrasi yang optimal pasca donor. Media edukasi yang dibagikan dalam bentuk leaflet dan tayangan video pendek mendapat tanggapan positif dari 89% peserta. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa edukasi pasca donor darah sangat dibutuhkan, karena mayoritas peserta belum pernah mendapatkan informasi tersebut sebelumnya. Edukasi kesehatan yang diberikan secara sederhana dan praktis mampu meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan peserta untuk menjaga kondisi tubuhnya. Pemantauan kondisi tubuh selama 7 hari pasca donor memberikan gambaran bahwa gejala ringan umum seperti lemas dan pusing dapat dikelola dengan baik melalui asupan nutrisi yang tepat dan istirahat cukup. Hal ini sejalan dengan temuan dari beberapa penelitian yang menyebutkan bahwa pendonor darah yang mendapat edukasi dan dukungan pemantauan mengalami pemulihan lebih cepat dan lebih siap untuk melakukan donor ulang secara rutin. Program pengabdian masyarakat bertema “Upaya Optimalisasi Kesehatan Tubuh Pasca Donor Darah: Program Berbasis Edukasi dan Pemantauan” berhasil dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan pendonor darah dari berbagai latar belakang. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa edukasi sederhana mengenai asupan gizi, hidrasi, dan istirahat pasca donor darah mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta secara signifikan dan membantu mereka dalam proses pemulihan. Abstract

Blood donation activities are an essential form of community service to help meet the growing demand for blood in Indonesia. The collaboration between IKT Kartini Batam, Yayasan Buddha Tzu Chi, and the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) represents a strategic approach to enhance public social awareness through blood donation. This activity aims to educate the community about the benefits of blood donation and encourage more individuals to participate in this social cause. Held on June 22, 2025, the blood donation event involved 120 donors and successfully raised new awareness among the community, particularly about the importance of blood donation as part of social responsibility. Moreover, the collaboration between the three institutions strengthened existing social networks and enriched the academic community's understanding of community service. The event's evaluation showed positive results with an increase in the number of donors and active community participation, despite some technical challenges related to the number of medical staff. Overall, this activity had a significant impact both socially and academically, and it is expected to continue growing, offering greater benefits to society in the future.

Abstract

Advances in science and technology have significantly improved and facilitated the work of health professionals. One example is the transition from manual medical records to Electronic Medical Records (EMDR). At Mitra Sejati Hospital, the implementation of EMR still uses manual and electronic methods, so it is not in accordance with the Minister of Health Regulation Number 24 in 2022. This study aims to analyze the implementation of EMR in the mitra sejati hospital on the regulation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with observations made using checklist sheets to evaluate the SIMRS application. The research subjects included doctors, nurses, radiology, IT officers, and medical record officers, each represented by one participant. The results of the study showed that the implementation of EMR at Mitra Sejati Hospital was in accordance with the Minister of Health Regulation Number 24 in 2022 about filling in clinical information, inputting financing claim data, and storing EMR. However, the implementation of patient registration, EMR data distribution, information processing, quality assurance, and transfer of EMR contents were not fully in accordance. This discrepancy indicates that the implementation of EMR in the hospital was not fully in accordance with the regulations. To address this gap, special efforts are needed to improve technical systems and staff training, so that it can ensure full compliance with regulations and optimize the function of the EMR.

Abstract

This research aims to uncover the relationship between Brand Image and Word of Mouth on consumer purchasing decisions at Maharani Cake House. With the background of a high number of people with disabilities in Indonesia, Maharani Cake House emerges as a solution for social inclusion and creating job opportunities for them. A strong brand image and word-of-mouth recommendations are considered to influence customer satisfaction. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with a questionnaire. The data analysis results show that Brand Image and Word of Mouth have a significant influence on purchasing decisions, in line with consumer theory. These findings are consistent with previous research stating that a strong brand image and social interaction play an important role in shaping purchasing decisions. The research conclusion emphasizes the importance of building a strong brand image and enhancing social interaction to improve customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. Therefore, it is recommended for companies to continuously strengthen their brand image and foster word of mouth to increase consumer trust and expand market share.

Abstract

This article discusses ecotheology in the perspective of Christianity by examining Genesis 1:26–28 and Psalm 24 as biblical foundations for human responsibility toward the environment. The purpose of this study is to explore the theological understanding of the cultural mandate and divine ownership in relation to the preservation of creation. The research employed a library study method with a qualitative-descriptive approach, analyzing biblical texts, theological literature, and previous studies. The findings show that humans are called to be stewards of creation, not arbitrary rulers, so that the management of nature must be carried out with full accountability to God. The integration of Genesis 1:26–28 and Psalm 24 provides a theological framework that emphasizes the balance between authority and ecological responsibility. Thus, Christian ecotheology is not merely conceptual but also a practical calling for the church and believers to make environmental preservation an integral part of faith and worship to God.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of education on the adherence of adolescent girls to iron supplementation tablets (IST). Anemia in adolescent girls is a significant health problem, influenced by iron loss during menstruation and increased iron requirements during growth. Low adherence to IST consumption is caused by various factors, including unpleasant side effects after consuming IST, the perception of being healthy and not needing medication, and a lack of knowledge about the dangers of iron deficiency anemia in adolescence. The method used is a narrative review, with research journal sources related to the adherence of adolescent girls in consuming IST. These research journals were obtained from Google Scholar and selected those published in the last five years (2019-2023). The review results indicate the importance of education in increasing adherence to IST consumption. Audiovisual methods, such as videos and YouTube, have proven effective. Additionally, support from health workers and pharmacists is crucial in increasing the adherence of adolescent girls to IST consumption. It is concluded that innovative education and good support are essential in increasing the adherence of adolescent girls to IST consumption.
