Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of bonding and monitoring mechanisms, as well as firm size, on firm performance across various industries listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The study population consists of 45 companies from diverse industries. The research sample was obtained using purposive sampling, resulting in a sample of 14 companies. The findings of the study indicate that institutional ownership and debt have a significant positive effect on firm financial performance. However, firm size does not have a significant negative impact on firm performance. In this context, bonding and monitoring mechanisms, as well as institutional ownership and debt levels, play a crucial role in enhancing the financial performance of companies in the Indonesian Stock Exchange. These findings provide insights for managers and stakeholders to consider appropriate ownership strategies and debt structures to improve firm performance. Furthermore, firm size is not considered a critical factor influencing firm performance in the context of this research.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of good corporate governance, profitability and company size on company value in the most actively traded companies on the IDX in the period 2015-2019. The population used in this study were companies included in the LQ 45 index listed on the IDX during that period. The sample selection technique used purposive sampling, while the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that institutional ownership and profitability have a significant positive effect on company value. The proportion of the board of commissioners has a significant negative effect on company value and company size has a significant negative effect on company value. The Adjusted R2 value of 0.482 indicates that 48.2% of the variation in company value can be explained by variations in the four independent variables, namely institutional ownership, proportion of the board of commissioners, profitability and company size. While the remaining 51.8% is explained by other causes not examined in this study

Abstract

In learning mathematics, there are several abilities that must be possessed in learning it, one of which is problem solving ability. The problem solving ability at MTsN 1 Lamongan is still not optimal. This was demonstrated through interviews conducted with mathematics teachers at MTsN 1 Lamongan. Therefore, the aim of this research is to describe the mathematical problem solving abilities of MTsN 1 Lamongan students in terms of the type of MTsN 1 Lamongan program. The method used by the author is a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection techniques used were through tests and interviews. The instrument used in this research is the problem solving ability instrument according to Polya. The data analysis technique is through analyzing student test results and then adjusting them to indicators of problem solving abilities. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the following results are obtained, in the SKS class program students are still unable to identify problems and implement strategies and are unable to formulate strategies and verify solutions. Meanwhile, in the superior program, students have been able to implement strategies but have not been able to identify problems and formulate strategies, and have not verified solutions. Lastly, regular program students have been able to formulate strategies but have not been able to identify problems and implement strategies, and have not verified solutions.

Abstract

Plastic waste which is not handling properly will disrupt the enviromental balance. The plastic waste should be seen as a resource which has economic value and can be a chance of business. This study aim is to create business model development of plastic waste recycling in CV. Majestic Buana Group (MBG). The study uses descriptive analysis with the approachment method namely Business Model Canvas, Delphi Method, SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, Threat) and Blue Ocean Strategy. It is done by purposive sampling method in the five company division (production, finance, marketing, HRD and expert). The result shows that the business model development can be amphasized on three elements; key resources, key partner and value propositions. The development of key resources can be done through writing business books and becoming a speaker of business seminar. It is adapted by the company vision to be able to transfer knowlegde as much as possible to the society. The key partners development is based on the result of SWOT analysis that shows major weakness compared to the other elements, therefore it is needed to give an anticipation by making new partnership with central production of plastic waste dan reducing the commercial partnership with the existing plastic waste supplier. The development of value proposition element is also based on the result of SWOT analysis which shows major strength and has a great opportunity. It can be utilized to strengthen the business model by using the company's expertise to design a household scale machine.

Abstract

Analisa pembuatan mesin pengupas kulit kopi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik dan memberikan gambaran prioritas karakteristik dari produk mesin pengupas kulit kopi yang diharapkan dan dibutuhkan oleh konsumen serta memberikan usulan arah pengembangan produk yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen secara menyeluruh. Analisa pembuatan mesin pengupas kulit kopi ini berdasarkan survei para pelaku usaha olahan biji kopi yang tinggal di daerah Wonosalam melalui penyebaran kuisioner. Sasaran analisa pembuatan mesin pengupas kulit kopi ini adalah dapat memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen secara lebih menyeluruh sehingga dengan adanya analisa tersebut dapat menghasilkan suatu mesin yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan konsumen. Dari hasil analisa pembuatan mesin pengupas kulit kopi menunjukkan bahwa dalam survei para pelaku usaha olahan biji kopi yang tinggal di daerah Wonosalam melalui penyebaran kuisioner dapat diketahui bahwa atribut-atribut yang diberikan oleh para pelaku usaha olahan biji kopi berbeda-beda tingkat kepentingan dari atribut produk mesin pengupas biji kopi. Pada atribut yang memiliki frekuensi paling banyak digunakan sebagai acuan untuk menentukan tingkat kepentingan yang dibutuhkan oleh para konsumen dengan menggunakan modus. Modus mengubah data menjadi linguistik data sehingga lebih mudah untuk diolah. Setelah kuisioner disebarkan didapat hasil urutan tingkat kepentingan atribut-atribut yang diinginkan oleh para konsumen produk mesin pengupas kulit kopi yaitu sebagai berikut : harga, desain mesin, kehigienisan, manfaat (fungsi), kemudahan pengoperasian. Kata kunci : survei, kuisioner, atribut .

Abstract

Abstract— Determining student majors is an important process in the world of education that can affect students' future. In this thesis, we conducted a study on determining student majors using the Naive Bayes Classifier algorithm at SMK Hidayatul Islam. The purpose of this study was to test the accuracy of the Naive Bayes Classifier algorithm in predicting student majors and to provide recommendations that can support decision making in determining student majors. This study uses historical data of SMK Hidayatul Islam students which includes various attributes such as academic grades, Mathematics, Science, Language, Science, and Average report card grades. The data was processed and trained on the Naive Bayes Classifier algorithm using machine learning methods. Furthermore, the algorithm was tested using separate test data. The results showed that the Naive Bayes Classifier algorithm provided an accuracy of 97.50% in determining student majors at SMK Hidayatul Islam. This shows a very good ability to predict student majors based on existing attributes. With high accuracy, this algorithm can be an effective tool in helping the student major decision-making process. However, it should be noted that the results of this study need to be considered in the specific context of SMK Hidayatul Islam and the characteristics of its students. Factors such as students' interests and talents, parents' views, and job market needs should also be important considerations in determining students' majors. Therefore, the Naive Bayes Classifier algorithm should be used as one component in a broader decision-making process, which involves consideration of these various factors.

Abstract

The Program Indonesia Pintar (PIP) is a government assistance in the form of a certain amount of cash given directly to students who are vulnerable to poverty according to the established criteria. However, in its implementation, there are still many recipients of PIP funds who are still not on target. Several results of evaluations and ongoing studies on the implementation of PIP show weaknesses in this program, namely related to the accuracy of determining the target of PIP fund recipients, where it was found that there were still many non-poor households who received this PIP fund assistance. The purpose of this study is to produce a decision support system to determine students who are truly worthy of being recommended to receive PIP fund assistance. The method used in this study is the Decision Tree C4.5 algorithm. The data used were 300 datasets, by selecting several relevant attributes. For processing using the Rapidminer tool, one of the popular software used in data mining processing. Meanwhile, the evaluation method uses a confusion matrix by calculating the accuracy value. From the test results in determining PIP acceptance at SD Negeri Kedungjajang 02 using the C4.5 algorithm, an accuracy of 97.33% was obtained, with the accuracy criteria of good classification.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi proses pengembangan aktualisasi diri melalui karya komik digital dalam pembelajaran IPAS di SMK ditinjau dari teori pembelajaran humanism.Teori humanisme Rogers menekankan pentingnya aktualisasi diri, yaitu proses individu untuk mencapai potensi penuh mereka dalam lingkungan yang mendukung dan empatik. Dalam konteks pendidikan, hal ini melibatkan penciptaan ruang yang memungkinkan siswa untuk mengekspresikan diri mereka secara bebas dan kreatif, yang diwujudkan dalam pembuatan komik digital yang menggabungkan pemahaman konsep IPAS. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mendalami bagaimana pembelajaran berbasis komik digital dapat membantu siswa mengembangkan bakat mereka dalam konteks pembelajaran IPAS. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan siswa dan guru, serta analisis dokumen seperti hasil karya komik digital yang dibuat oleh siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan komik digital tidak hanya meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran, tetapi juga memungkinkan mereka untuk mengaktualisasikan bakat dan kreativitas mereka dalam konteks akademik. Abstract

Green tourism is a way to maintain the sustainability of the tourism world. This program was formed in line with the desire to increase the number of green jobs to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This study aims to analyze the implementation of SDGs-based green tourism in Sambirejo Village. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method using questionnaires and primary data from the research object. This research was conducted from March to August 2024. The respondents in this study were the community around the tourist area in Sambirejo Village. The results of the study explain that Sambirejo Village has been trying to implement a green tourism program based on SDGs since 2019. This is evidenced by the receipt of several awards obtained for the development of environmentally based villages
