Abstract

 Dunia kerja dalam era mendatang dakan ditandai oleh ketidakpastian, semakin cepat dan sering berubah, serta menuntut fleksibilitas yang lebih besar. Perubahan ini secara mendasar tidak saja menuntut angkatan kerja yang mempunyai kemampuan bekerja dalam bidangnya (hard competencies) namun juga menguasai kemampuan menghadapi perubahan serta memanfaatkan perubahan itu sendiri (soft competence). Hal ini menjadi tantangan dunia pendidikan untuk mampu mengintegrasikan kedua komponen kompetensi tersebut secara terpadu dalam menyiapkan sumber daya manusia yang memiliki kemampuan bekerja dan berkembang di masa depan.Pemecahan permasalahan pendidikan tidak akan terlepas dari perlunya inovasi-inovasi yang terfokus pada peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. Inovasi pembelajaran memiliki kemampuan  terwujudnya suatu proses pembelajaran yang berkualiatas sehingga dapat meningkatkan kompetensi, kemampuan, keterampilan serta daya saing lulusan. Pembelajaran konstrutivisme merupakan salah satu inovasi yang diyakini akan memberi peluang lebih besar dalam menghasilkan lulusan yang professional dan berdaya saing. Dalam hal ini pengetahuan dibangun sendiri oleh pembelajar secara aktif, tekanan dalam pembelajaran terletak pada pembelajar dan peran guru atau dosen/ instruktur adalah sebagain fasilitator yang menciptakan lingkungan untuk memungkinkan pembelajar secara aktif dan kreatif mengkonstruksi sendiri pengetahuannya.

Abstract

This research is prompted by the facts in the field that are found in deadjectival verbs that have the potential to become words commonly used in spoken and written languages. The form and meaning of the deadjectival verb are accepted in the process of formation through the process of affixation. Research data in the form of sentences in which there are deadjectival verbs. The data source of this research is written text. Data collected using the transfer method. Data analysis was performed using the method of distribution with techniques for direct elements and the equivalent method by using the determinant element technique (PUP) and advanced techniques, namely the equalizing relationship technique (HBS). The results of this study are the pattern of grammatical meaning ?proceed to the conditions mentioned on the basis (causative); grammatical meaning patterns ?in a state / do as stated on the basis'; The pattern of grammatical meaning ?the most is on the basis of?; and grammatical meaning patterns ?target in those conditions on the basis?. Potential forms found are *mencoklat, *menjernih, *mencantik, *melembut, *memahit, dan *menggugup.

Abstract

Retelling fantasy story text activity is productive language activity. Therefore, there is a need of appropriate learning model to students? learning styles.  This research aims to explain effectiveness of retelling fantasy story text learning with creative productive model based on the seventh graders? learning styles.  The used method in this research is quasi-experimental design with techniques of collecting data by using instruments of retelling fantasy story test, learning style test, and documentation. Normality test of the data used Kolmogorov-Smirnov. Homogeneity data test used Levene test. Hypothesis test used paired sample t-test.  All test used SPSS 2.0 program test. The conclusion of this research showed that implementation of creative productive model was effective to use in the learning based on learning styles of the seventh graders.  Retelling fantasy story learning used creative productive model was found to be more effective when it was implemented on intuitive learning style typed students than sensible learning style typed students. Theoretically, this research was expected to contribute in retelling fantasy story learning.

Abstract

Abstrak.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil analisis soal USBN Bahasa Indonesia di SMP Semesta Semarang dan memaparkan hasil rekonstruksi soal USBN Bahasa Indonesia berbasis HOTS di SMP Semesta Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian analisis evaluatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian analisis ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah studi dokumentasi. Pembahasan pada artikel ini merupakan sebagian langkah dari penelitian rekonstruksi soal USBN Bahasa Indonesia berbasis HOTS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kandungan HOTS pada soal USBN Bahasa Indonesia tingkat SMP sebanyak 52,5% yang terdiri atas C4, C5, dan C6. Terdapat pula soal yang mengandung MOTS sebanyak 47,5% yaitu berupa level kognitif pemahaman dan level kognitif aplikasi. Kisi-kisi soal USBN Bahasa Indonesia Berbasis HOTS hasil rekonstruksi mengandung level kognitif HOTS sebanyak 95% dan MOTS 5% dengan tujuan untuk membekali dan membiasakan peserta didik dalam berpikir secara analitis, kritis, dan kreatif serta dapat bersaing dalam dunia Internasional. Kata Kunci: USBN; Soal berorientasi HOTS   Abstrack. This research aims to describe the results of the analysis of HOTS content about Indonesian USBN on junior high school level and to explain the results of reconstruction of Indonesian USBN questions on HOTS-based SMP. This type of research is evaluative analysis research. The method used in this analytical research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique in this research is the study of documentation. The discussion in this article is part of the steps from HOTS-based Indonesian USBN reconstruction research. The results of this research indicate that the HOTS content in the Indonesian National Level USBN questions is 52.5% consisting of C4, C5, and C6. There are also questions that contain as much as 47.5% MOTS in the form of cognitive level of understanding and cognitive level of application. HOTS based Indonesian language USBN lattice reconstruction results contain C4 cognitive levels HOTS as much as 95% and MOTS much 5% with the aim of equipping and accustoming students in analytical, critical, and creative thinking and can compete in international world. Abstract

Assessment of student achievement needs to change, largely because today's students face a world that will demand new knowledge and abilities. In the global economy of the 21st century, students not only need to understand the basics, but also to think critically, to analyze, and to make inferences. In order to develop these skills, changes in assessment at school and classroom level are required. Classroom assessment is an effective strategy to improve the quality of learning to achieve the goals of creating graduates with holistic mastery of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor ability, according to the demands of human resources in the global era.

Abstract

Editorial text writing skills involve the students’ abilities to collect references based on experience. Collaboration, communication, and critical and creative thinking activities are indispensable for learning in the 21st century. Plural Partner Model A-21 is used in learning activities to write editorial texts. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning to write editorial texts using the Plural Partner A-21 model based on the specialization of vocational students. The research design used was quasi-experimental with a population of XII grade students of SMK in the 2019/2020 academic year. Data collection techniques using test and non-test techniques. The test technique was carried out by measuring the skills of students in writing editorial texts, while the non-test technique was carried out by using questionnaire sheets, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the T-test and analysis of variance (Anova). The results prove that the use of the Plural Partner A-21 model is effective in learning editorial text writing skills based on the specialization of vocational students. Research benefits provide theoretical and practical advantages. Theoretically, this study can enrich the theory of learning to write editorial texts using a combination of the Plural Partner model with 21st century learning skills. The importance of this research for educators to increase the sense of responsibility for the quality of education in an era of disruption.

Abstract

The formation of student personalities that can be developed with writing explanatory texts enrichment book containing 21st century competencies includes aspects of knowledge, skills, and personality that are integrated with 21st century competencies that students must master. This study aims to analyze the need for enrichment book development in writing explanatory text with 21st century competencies and the characteristics of enrichment book development for writing explanatory text with 21st century competence. The research method uses the Research and Development and uses six steps out of ten steps in the R&D method. The results obtained from this study were an analysis of the needs of students and teachers which were grouped based on question aspects, namely (1) material and content needs, (2) 21st century competency content needs, (3) presentation needs, (4) language needs. and (5) legibility and graphics needs. This needs analysis is to determine the tendency of the needs of students and teachers to the form of the enrichment book being developed. Then, the characteristics of the enrichment book are writing explanatory texts containing 21st century competencies according to the perceptions of students and teachers in accordance with the principles of content feasibility, presentation feasibility, linguistic feasibility, and graphic feasibility. In addition, teachers and students are very in accordance with the form of the book that is being made easy to carry. Therefore, the development of an enrichment book to write explanatory texts containing 21st century competencies is in accordance with the wishes of teachers and students in using a learning resource.

Abstract

Learning model is standardization for developing the one's skill and in the interpersonal situations. This study aims to determine the effect of learning models to the test results of the students’ writing skill of the explanation text in class VIII grade at junior high school. This research is an ex-post-facto research. The population of this research is all students of VIII grade at SMP of the 2019/2020 academic year. The sample in this study were students of class VIIIA and VIIIB SMP N 22 Semarang with the amount of 64 students who were taken by cluster random sampling, namely by choosing two classes randomly. Data collection techniques were questionnaires for student learning model data and tests to obtain data on the results of the skill to write explanation text for class VIIIA and VIIIB students. The results showed that (1) students with auditory learning models had the highest average score rather than the others who use visual and other learning models. (2) the learning model in this study has a significant effect on the results of the students; skill to write explanation text. (3) The learning model in this study gives e a large effective contribution 89.9% to the results of the students’ writing skill of explanation text; this proved that the learning model is one of the important factors for the students' achievement in writing skill of explanation text.

Abstract

The enrichment book is one of the supporting tools of learning activities directed in developing of students’ knowledge, insights, and skills. The purpose of this research is to describe the profile and acceptability of the development of enrichment book in writing negotiation texts based on the 21st century’s competencies that are in appropriate with the students’ and educators’ needs. This research was conducted by seven stages that used a research and development design. The seven stages are (1) potential and problems, (2) information and data collection, (3) design of book’s profile, (4) validation test (5) revision (6) limited trial, and (7) final revision. The result of this research is a development of enrichment book for writing negotiation texts that is compiled with 21st century’s competencies (4C) which is directed at 21stcentury learning. The negotiation text that is developed contains of the 21st century’s competencies aspects, namely critical-thinking, creative, communicative, and collaborative. The acceptability of enrichment books for educators and students is an enrichment book that helps them understand and increase their knowledge of the materials in writing negotiation texts, and the presentation of enrichment book is adjusted to students’ characteristics and their development level. The theoretical benefits of this research can be used as an alternative theory in developing an enrichment book that is customized to the need of 21st century’s students. The practical benefit can be used as a guide-book for the educators.

Abstract

Learning to write short-story text expects the learners to capable of explaining a process of certain phenomenon occurrence. Therefore, an appropriate learning model is needed based on the learners’ cognitive styles. This research explained the effectiveness of short-story text learning with the CIRC model based on the eleventh graders’ cognitive styles. The research design was a one-group pretest-posttest. The sample was taken with purposive sampling. The instruments of data analysis techniques were validity and reliability tests. The samples were examined with normality and homogeneity tests. The final data analysis was a t-test to determine the effectiveness comparison of the cognitive style-based short-story writing learning. The findings showed the average score of FD-styled learners was 82.42, 79.13 for the moderate-styled learners, and 86.48 for FI-styled learners. Theoretically, the findings could be implemented to enrich the educational research and knowledge of writing short-story text.
