Abstract

Abstract : The implementation of the Middle Semester Assessment (PTS) using a computer or Computer Based Test (CBT) at SMAN 10 Bandar Lampung runs from the start of online learning until 2022 in the odd semester. The implementation of computer-based assessment in addition to being easy to apply is also able to reduce the use and waste of paper that comes from student question and answer sheets. With this, it is able to make schools healthy and environmentally friendly.

Abstract

The understanding of concepts among students is still relatively low due to the suboptimal use of learning media, making it difficult for students to grasp the material, especially abstract physics concepts. This research aims to develop STEM-based virtual reality media, as well as to determine its feasibility, user response, and effectiveness in improving high school students' conceptual understanding. The method used is research and development with the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation), with the research subjects being 10th-grade students at SMAN 1 and SMAN 10 Bandar Lampung. The instruments used included validation sheets for media experts, materials, and test items; responses from students and educators; as well as concept understanding tests through pretests and posttests. The research results show that the developed media is deemed suitable based on the validator's assessment, with responses from educators and students indicating a very interesting category. The N-gain score with an average of g=0.55 indicates a moderate increase in students' conceptual understanding, making this media suitable and effective for use in learning.

Abstract

Learning media that can overcome students' difficulties in understanding abstract concepts through the integration of modern technology with character values is challenging. This study aims to develop, determine the feasibility, student response, and effectiveness of STEM-R-based AR media on concept understanding in heat temperature material. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data collection was conducted through interviews, expert validation, and pretest-posttest. The validation results showed that the media was feasible for use based on the assessments of media experts, subject matter experts, and religious experts in the feasible category. The average concept comprehension scores of students in both schools showed an increase. Small-scale tests and field tests of student responses in both schools showed a very good category. The validity level of STEM-R-based AR media on students' concept comprehension is interpreted as feasible for use, and student responses to this learning media are also very good, reflecting an increase in motivation and involvement in the teaching and learning process. This research is expected to strengthen the integration of religious values in modern science learning and serve as a reference for the development of AR media based on Islamic values.

Abstract

Students’ critical thinking skills in physics have not yet developed optimally, particularly when it comes to the topic of sound waves, which requires experimental activities and data analysis. This study aims to develop the Smart Sound Analyzer as a physics teaching aid to enhance students’ critical thinking skills. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which comprises the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The developed product integrates sound sensors, a microcontroller, real-time data monitoring, and worksheets based on critical thinking activities. The results of the study show that the media received a content expert validation score of 99.41%, a media expert score of 87.50%, and an instrument score of 94.37%, all of which fall into the “highly acceptable” category. The response rates for students and educators were 94% and 95.33%, respectively, both falling into the "very good" category. The average critical thinking skills score increased from 50.05 to 79.48 with an N-gain value of 0.61 in the moderate category. Thus, the Smart Sound Analyzer is suitable for use as an experiment-based physics learning medium and has the potential to support the improvement of critical thinking skills through direct analysis of sound data. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) and critical thinking worksheets to facilitate real-time analysis of sound frequency and amplitude. ABSTRAK Keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dalam pembelajaran fisika belum berkembang secara optimal, khususnya pada materi gelombang bunyi yang memerlukan kegiatan eksperimen dan analisis data. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan alat peraga Smart Sound Analyzer sebagai media pembelajaran fisika untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Produk yang dikembangkan mengintegrasikan sensor suara, mikrokontroler, pemantauan data real-time, dan LKPD berbasis aktivitas berpikir kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media memperoleh skor validasi ahli materi sebesar 99,41%, ahli media sebesar 87,50%, dan instrumen sebesar 94,37%, seluruhnya dalam kategori sangat layak. Respons peserta didik dan pendidik masing-masing mencapai 94% dan 95,33% dengan kategori sangat baik. Skor rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kritis meningkat dari 50,05 menjadi 79,48 dengan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,61 pada kategori sedang. Dengan demikian, Smart Sound Analyzer layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran fisika berbasis eksperimen dan berpotensi mendukung peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis melalui analisis data bunyi secara langsung. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi Internet of Things (IoT) dan LKPD berpikir kritis untuk memfasilitasi analisis frekuensi serta amplitudo bunyi secara real-time.

Abstract

The convergence of immersive technology and artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming physics learning into a more interactive and adaptive environment. However, research on this topic has not been systematically mapped. This study analyzes research trends, gaps, and future prospects using a bibliometric approach. Data were collected from the Scopus database covering publications from 2020 to 2026. Following the screening process, 100 articles were analyzed using Bibliometrix-Biblioshiny. The analysis included publication trends, collaboration networks, keyword co-occurrence, thematic mapping, and conceptual structure. The results revealed a substantial increase in publications, with artificial intelligence, virtual reality, immersive technologies, and STEM education emerging as dominant themes. The United States, China, and Indonesia were the leading contributors. The findings indicate considerable opportunities for future research, particularly in adaptive learning and immersive learning environments for physics education. This study provides a scientific overview that may serve as a reference for future research on the convergence of AI and immersive technology in physics learning.

Abstract

This research is intended to assess how the use of an information system influences QR Code–based attendance on student discipline at SMP Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. The study employed applies a quantitative framework with a causal associative design, and the population of the research comprises consisted of 1,074 students, with a sample of 292 respondents determined using the Slovin formula at a 5% margin of error and using a robability sampling approach, respondnets were chosen through simple random sampling. Data collection employed  a likert scale questionnaire with scores from 1 to 4, and analysis was conducted using the SEM-PLS technique supported by SmartPLS version 4. It can be inferred from the findings that  QR Code–based attendance has a positive and significant effect on student discipline, with an R-square value of 0.441. The hypothesis testing results show a t-statistic value of 18.459 and a p-value of 0.000. These findings demonstrate that an integrated and real-time attendance system can improve punctuality, reduce fraudulent practices, and foster students’ responsibility toward their academic obligations. This study highlights that the utilization of information technology in attendance management represents an effective strategy for enhancing student discipline

Abstract

This study investigated the effect of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) cooperative learning model on students' learning activeness and creative thinking in physics learning. The study was grounded in the need to strengthen active participation and creative idea generation in Grade VIII physics, particularly on mechanical wave concepts. A quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design was employed. The sample consisted of 64 students of SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung, with 32 students in the experimental class and 32 students in the control class. The experimental class learned using TSTS, whereas the control class received conventional instruction. Data were collected through a creative-thinking essay test, learning-activeness observation sheets, interviews, and documentation. Creative thinking was assessed through fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration, while activeness was observed through physical, mental, and social participation. The results showed that the experimental class outperformed the control class in both activeness (86.41% vs. 71.09%) and creative-thinking posttest scores (82.34 vs. 70.28). Independent-samples t-tests indicated significant differences in learning activeness, t(62)=5.03, p<0.001, and creative thinking, t(62)=4.86, p<0.001. The N-gain of creative thinking reached 0.70 in the experimental class and 0.49 in the control class. These findings imply that TSTS can be used as a structured cooperative strategy to increase peer interaction, expand information exchange across groups, and support creative responses in physics learning. Further studies are recommended to test TSTS across different physics topics, integrate it with digital or experiment-based media, and examine the quality of student interaction during group mobility.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang, membangun, dan menguji efektivitas Sistem Informasi Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru (PMB) berbasis web terintegrasi AI Chatbot sebagai layanan helpdesk pada Alifa Institute. Permasalahan penelitian berangkat dari proses PMB yang sebelumnya menggunakan Blogspot dan Google Form, sehingga data belum terpusat, rekapitulasi masih semi-manual, serta layanan informasi belum tersedia otomatis selama 24 jam. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development yang dipadukan dengan model Waterfall. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan PHP Native, MySQL, Bootstrap 5, JavaScript, AJAX, PHPMailer, Dompdf, dan Groq API dengan model Llama-3.3-70b-versatile. Kebaruan penelitian terletak pada integrasi sistem PMB one gate system dengan AI Chatbot berbasis knowledge base, prompt engineering, dan context retrieval yang mampu membedakan layanan tamu dan mahasiswa login berdasarkan status pendaftaran. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan 35 skenario ahli sistem dan 36 skenario ahli materi seluruhnya valid dengan keberhasilan 100%. Evaluasi khusus chatbot menunjukkan akurasi dan relevansi respons tervalidasi 100%, sedangkan uji pengguna memperoleh efektivitas 95,86% dengan kategori sangat efektif. Sistem berkontribusi dalam memperkuat layanan PMB digital yang responsif, terpusat, dan kontekstual.
