Abstract

The ability to write scientific articles is an important competency that students must possess as part of strengthening academic literacy and publication culture in higher education. However, some students still experience difficulties in understanding the structure of scientific articles, developing writing outlines, determining research topics, and applying citation techniques according to academic principles. This community service activity aims to improve students' academic literacy competencies through training and mentoring in writing scientific articles at the Mambaul Ulum Islamic Institute in Surakarta. The methods used include material delivery, interactive discussions, scientific article writing practice, and direct mentoring. The activity was evaluated using a questionnaire completed by 52 students after the entire series of activities were completed. The evaluation results showed that 51.9% of participants had a good understanding of the structure of scientific articles, 72.5% felt quite capable of developing article outlines, 63.5% were quite confident in determining research topics, and 65.4% had a sufficient understanding of citation techniques and compiling references. In addition, 61.5% of participants rated the quality of the training materials as good, 46.2% rated the training methods as quite effective, 53.8% stated that the mentoring was quite helpful in preparing scientific articles, and 44.2% were quite satisfied with the facilitators. The training also increased students' motivation to write and publish scientific articles (59.6%) and formed a more positive view of the importance of scientific publication (53.8%). These findings indicate that training combined with mentoring is effective in strengthening students' academic literacy competencies, both in terms of knowledge, skills, and motivation, thus supporting the development of a culture of scientific publication in higher education.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the interpretation of Sunan Bonang's teachings of Sufism in the context of Javanese culture. The method used in this study is a literature study with content analysis. The results of this study indicate that Sunan Bonang's teachings of Sufism are uniquely interpreted in the context of Javanese culture, emphasizing the concept of unity between God and humans and integrating local wisdom into the teachings. In the Javanese culture context, Sunan Bonang's teachings of Sufism view that divinity is the essence of human life. Additionally, these teachings also integrate values of local wisdom such as mutual cooperation, simplicity, and humility in their practice of Sufism. Overall, Sunan Bonang's teachings of Sufism have strong relevance to the challenges of modern times, especially in developing spirituality and facing complex issues in the modern world

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought significant changes to the world of education, including Islamic education. This study aims to analyze the ethics of AI usage and its implications for Islamic education from the perspective of sharia values and the objectives of Islamic law (maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah). Using a library research approach, data were collected from academic literature, scientific articles, and relevant documents discussing AI, Islamic ethics, and education. The findings indicate that Islam conditionally supports technological advancement, including AI, as long as it aligns with key ethical principles such as justice, trustworthiness (amānah), responsibility, transparency, and privacy protection. AI is considered capable of enhancing the quality of religious learning through personalized content, automated instruction, and expanded access to education, particularly in remote areas. However, AI also poses a number of ethical challenges, including the potential distortion of religious understanding, the dehumanization of the teacher's role, algorithmic bias, and violations of moral and spiritual values. Therefore, a clear Islamic ethical framework is essential, along with the active involvement of scholars (‘ulamā’), increased digital literacy among educators, and the development of authentic Islamic content. With these foundations, AI can serve as a tool to support the holistic and ethical vision of Islamic education without compromising its core divine values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kualitas soal aqidah, kemampuan siswa dalam mengerjakannya, serta memetakan tingkat kesulitan soal terhadap kemampuan siswa di MAN 1 Surakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah evaluatif dengan subjek 332 siswa kelas XII, data dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi hasil ujian akhir sekolah tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dan dianalisis menggunakan Teori Model Rasch dengan bantuan program Winstep. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 5 soal tidak akurat (S4, S23, S25, S5, S6) dan 10 soal mengalami bias (S12, S14, S15, S17, S19, S21, S26, S30, S34, S35). Tingkat kesulitan soal terbagi menjadi sangat sulit (2%), sulit (58%), mudah (25%), dan sangat mudah (15%) serta instrumen soal dinyatakan reliabel. Kemampuan siswa terbagi menjadi rendah (13%), sedang (73%), dan tinggi (14%), dengan kemampuan rata-rata siswa berada di atas tingkat kesulitan soal. Soal yang valid direkomendasikan untuk dimasukan dalam bank soal, sementara soal tidak akurat perlu diperbaiki.   Mapping person's ability and the quality of aqidah question items in madrasah aliyah   Abstract: This study aims to describe the quality of aqidah test items, students' ability to answer them, and to map the difficulty level of the items in relation to student ability at MAN 1 Surakarta. This is an evaluative study involving 332 twelfth-grade students. Data were collected through documentation of the final school exam results for the 2022/2023 academic year and analyzed using the Rasch Model Theory with the assistance of the Winstep program. The results showed that five items were inaccurate (S4, S23, S25, S5, S6) and ten items were biased (S12, S14, S15, S17, S19, S21, S26, S30, S34, S35). The difficulty levels of the items were classified as very difficult (2%), difficult (58%), easy (25%), and very easy (15%), and the test instrument was deemed reliable. Student ability was categorized as low (13%), medium (73%), and high (14%), with the average student ability exceeding the average item difficulty. Valid items are recommended for inclusion in the item bank, while inaccurate items need revision.

Abstract

Fenomena bullying merupakan tantangan serius di lingkungan pendidikan yang berdampak negatif terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis dan prestasi akademik peserta didik. Artikel ini memaparkan pelaksanaan sosialisasi anti-bullying di SDN 3 Jaten Selogiri sebagai strategi pencegahan bullying. Kegiatan ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang bullying, dampaknya, serta strategi pencegahannya, sekaligus menciptakan iklim sekolah yang aman, nyaman, dan ramah anak. Keberhasilan sosialisasi anti-bullying di SDN 3 Jaten Selogiri terlihat dari respons positif, partisipasi, dan keterlibatan aktif peserta didik selama kegiatan. Pada sesi diskusi dan simulasi, siswa berperan langsung dalam menggambarkan situasi bullying dan cara menyikapinya dengan tepat. Kegiatan berlangsung tertib, kooperatif, dan interaktif, dengan peserta didik saling menghargai serta mematuhi aturan. Kata kunci: Sosialisasi, Anti Bullying, SDN 3 Jaten

Abstract

Dalam lembaga pendidikan perlu adanya penghargaan dan hukuman sebagai konsekuensi peserta didik untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan. Pondok pesantren Luqman Al Hakim menerapkan iqab dan sawab untuk menegakkan kedisiplinan santri dalam shalat berjama’ah. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengetahui keadaan kedisiplinan shalat berjama’ah yang sudah ada di pondok pesantren Luqman Al Hakim, mengetahui implementasi iqab dan sawab yang diterapkan, dan mengetahui faktor pendukung serta faktor penghambat dalam menerapkan iqab dan sawab. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian: 1) keadaan kedisiplinan santri di pondok pesantren Luqman Al Hakim terutama dalam belajar dan tahfidz terjadi peningkatan yang baik setiap tahun, namun untuk kedisiplinan mentaati peraturan masih kurang karena disetiap tahun masih ada yang melanggar peraturan. 2) implementasi iqab dan sawab di pondok pesantren Luqman Al Hakim sudah berjalan sebagaimana mestinya, santri menerima konsekuensi apabila melanggar peraturan, santri juga menerima konsekuensi baik apabila menjadi santri teladan, rajin dan bersungguh-sungguh. 3) faktor pendukung implementasi iqab dan sawab di pondok pesantren Luqman Al Hakim yaitu dukungan orang tua kepada santri dan asatidz menjadikan semangat agar asatidz bisa meningkatkan kinerja dalam mendampingi santri, terutama menerapkan iqab dan sawab di pondok pesantren. Faktor penghambat dari penerapan iqab dan sawab adalah santri yang kurang menaati peraturan, kurang mendukung dengan kebijakan pondok pesantren dan kurang mendukung dengan implementasi iqab dan sawab.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the strategies and impacts of new student admissions at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Cekel over the past three years. Utilizing a qualitative approach, the study involves a case study with in-depth interviews of parents, teachers, and school staff. Document analysis and participatory observation are also employed to understand the dynamics of student admissions and their impact on classroom management and educational quality. The results indicate the adaptability of the madrasah to fluctuations in student admissions, with effective strategies in maintaining balance and ensuring the quality of learning. Thus, this research provides a holistic overview of new student admission strategies and their impacts on education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Cekel.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing sanctions on student discipline at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Kenteng Nogosari Boyolali for the 2022/2023 academic year. The type of research used is a quantitative approach with an ex post facto research design. The population in this study was class V MI Muhammadiyah Kenteng which consisted of two classes A and B. Sampling used a saturated sampling technique or saturationsampling, which is a sampling technique if all subjects or objects in the population are used as samples. The data collection method in this research uses mean, median, mode, standard deviation, Likert scale scoring, in the prerequisite test using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test and homogeneity test using the Levene test and paired sample t-test using the SPSS version 15.0 application.  Based on the results of data analysis on the application of sanctions using the data centering formula of mean, median, mode, standard deviation and scoring, the results show a mean of 75.6, a median of 74.7, a mode of 74.7, a standard deviation of 120.4 and a very high Likert scale scoring with a total of 8 students, high with 19 students, low with 13 students and very low with 7 students. Meanwhile, the results of the analysis of student discipline data showed that the mean was 80, the median was 74.7, the mode was 74.7, the standard deviation was 12.001 and the Likert scale scoring was very high with the number of 11 students, high with 14 students, low with the number of 17 students, very low with the number 5 students. Based on the results of the prerequisite test calculations using the normality test with the Kolomogorof - Smirnov test formula, the researcher obtained a significant ASYMP sig value. (2-tailed) was 0.877, indicating that the residual value was normally distributed, and the homogeneity test which was tested using the researcher's Levene test formula obtained a significant value of 0.976, indicating that the data were homogeneous. Next, calculate the hypothesis test using the paired sample t-test formula. The results of the t table value show l t count l = 3.562 > t table = 2.013 so Ho is rejected. Meanwhile, the significant value shows sig. (2-tailed) is 0.001<0.05, then Ho is rejected. This means that there are differences after implementing sanctions and student discipline at MI Muhammadiyah Kenteng Nogosari.

Abstract

Jalan Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media buku cerita terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di MI At-Taqwa Nguter Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 54 siswa kelas IV putri yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data penggunaan media buku cerita diperoleh melalui angket, sedangkan data prestasi belajar diperoleh dari nilai rapor mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia semester ganjil. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji prasyarat, dan regresi linier sederhana dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media buku cerita berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (<0,05), koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,519, serta kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 27%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media buku cerita terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di MI At-Taqwa Nguter Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional dengan sampel 54 siswa kelas IV. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dan dokumentasi nilai rapor, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media buku cerita berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar Bahasa Indonesia, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (<0,05), koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,519, dan kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 27%. Dengan demikian, media buku cerita dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa.
