Abstract

The purpose of this research is to ascertain the findings of the examination of the ideology creation in Dee Lestari's book Ksatria, Putri, dan Bintang Jatuh. Formal and descriptive qualitative methodologies were used to ensure the quality of this study. This study employs sociological and objective methods. Supernova: Ksatria, Putri, dan Bintang Jatuh by Dee Lestari serves as the research's primary source of data. Quotations from fresh lines that lead to the subject of analysis are used in the study. methods for gathering data while using documentary research methods. Three methods are used to assess the validity of the data: referential coverage, persistence, and triangulation. The results of this study are an ideology consisting of conservatism, liberalism, theism, pantheism, and new age. the result of the ideology formation are the conservatism collaborates with theism, liberalism collaborates with pantheism, pantheism collaborates with new age, new age collaborates with liberalism, liberalism incompatible with conservatism, liberalism incomplatible with theism, theism incompatible with pantheism, theism incompatible with new age.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the writing ability of news texts of seventhgrade students at SMP Negeri 26 Pontianak. The method used is descriptive to describe the students' ability in writing news texts, with a qualitative research approach. The subjects of this research are the seventh-grade students of class VII B at SMP Negeri 26 Pontianak, totaling 31 students. The data obtained are the results of students' writing abilities in creating news texts in terms of structure and language rules. The results of the analysis of writing abilities in the aspect of text structure show that 7 students have excellent abilities, 12 students have abilities in the good category, 11 students have abilities in the fair category, and 1 student has abilities in the very poor category. Furthermore, the results of the analysis of news text abilities in terms of structure show that there are 3 students with abilities in the poor category and 28 students with abilities in the very poor category.

Abstract

This research aims to describe anxiety and defense mechanisms in the novel Namaku Alam 1 by Leila S. Chudori and its implementation in Indonesian language teaching. The study employs a descriptive method with a qualitative research approach. The approach used is literary psychology based on Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory. The research data consist of excerpts, phrases, sentences, and paragraphs. Data collection techniques involve documentary study. The data collection tool is the researcher themself, who serves as the key instrument in this research, along with the use of books, note cards, writing tools, and markers. The results of the study show that objective anxiety in this novel is experienced by the characters Yu Kenanga, Alam, Bu Warsih, and Bimo, while neurotic anxiety is found in the characters Ibu and Alam. The defense mechanism of rationalization occurs with a substitute motive to cover up the real motive, while the defense mechanism is employed to protect oneself, ultimately leading to self-destruction. The teaching module is prepared for the Indonesian language subject, phase F, grade XII in senior high school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hierarki kebutuhan tokoh utama dalam novel Anak-Anak Cahaya (AAC) karya Ramaditya Adikara dan novel Rumah Tanpa Jendela (RTJ) karya Asma Nadia serta implementasi pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah psikologi sastra menggunakan teori Abraham Maslow kajian psikologi humanistik. Data penelitian berupa kutipan, frasa, kalimat, dan paragraf. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah studi dokumenter. Alat pengumpulan data adalah peneliti sendiri sebagai instrument kunci. Hasil penelitian yaitu hierarki kebutuhan tokoh Rama dalam novel AAC karya Ramaditya Adikara terdiri dari kebutuhan fisiologis, keamanan, cinta dan keberadaan, penghargaan, dan aktulisasi diri. Hierarki kebutuhan tokoh Rara dalam novel RTJ karya Asma Nadia terdiri dari kebutuhan fisiologis, keamanan, cinta dan keberadaan, penghargaan, dan aktulisasi diri. Penyusunan modul ajar mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia fase f kelas XII SMA.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of internal and external conflicts on the development of the character of the main character in the novel Untold Love Unseen Tears by Sugaminna, as well as the implementation plan of the research in the Indonesian Language subject in grade XII. The benefits of this research are twofold, namely the theoretical utilization of practical funds. The theory used in this study is the theory of Stanton and B.F. Skinner. The method used in this study is a descriptive method in the form of qualitative research. The data source used is the novel Untold Love Unseen Tears by Sugaminna. The data in this study are quotes in the form of sentences that contain conflicts or behaviors that occur in the main character in the novel Untold Love Unseen Tears by Sugaminna. Based on the results of the research that has been found: 1) internal conflicts that include anger, sadness, disappointment, guilt, regret, and frustration have a positive and negative influence on the character of Kira and Yoongi 2) external conflicts make the characters of Min Yoongi and Kim Kira dynamic because the initially bad personalities become good 3) The novel Untold Love Unseen Tears by Sugaminna can be used as a teaching material in the Indonesian subject module of grade XII.

Abstract

In order to describe the inventory of the disaster lexicon in the Dayak Kanayatn community, the form of the disaster lingual units in the community, the meaning of the disaster lexicon in the Dayak Kanayatn community, and the plans for designing teaching modules as Indonesian language teaching materials in Junior High Schools (SMP), this research was carried out by analyzing the disaster lexicon in the Dayak Kanayatn community. A descriptive technique, which is a kind of qualitative research, is used. The Ahe language, which is used in Kanayatn Dayak daily speech and rituals, serves as the research's data source. Words (both monomorphemic and polymorphemic) and phrases serve as the research's data.. The techniques used are interviews, notes, recording and documentation. Data collection tools are a list of questions, writing tools, notebooks and gadgets. Based on the analysis carried out, there are 17 disaster lexicons and they are divided into 3 types, namely natural disasters with 7 words, non-natural disasters with 7 words and social disasters with 3 words.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of the analysis of the six characteristics of romanticism in the novel Garis luka by Khairani Hasan. The research method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative research form. The approach used in this research is an objective approach. Sources of data in this study, namely in the form of documents in the form of a novel. The technique used in this research is a documentary study technique. The tools used in this study were writing instruments and laptops. The results of this study indicate that romanticism includes a return to nature, moodiness or melancholy, primitivism, sentimentalism individualism, and exoticism. This research is related to the independent curriculum for the subject of Indonesian Language and Literature at the SMA level, class XII, odd semester. The results of this study are expected to be used by teachers as teaching materials in schools related to literature.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the representation of feminism in the film Sleep Call directed by Fajar Nugros by identifying scenes that depict gender injustice based on its various manifestations, including marginalization, subordination, stereotypes, violence, and workload. Furthermore, the findings of this study are expected to be implemented in the development of teaching modules for the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesian language learning for grade VIII SMP (junior high school). This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data for this study were taken from the film Sleep Call, directed by Fajar Nugros and released on September 7, 2023. Data collection was carried out using the documentation method, utilizing various documents such as written papers, photos, and electronic files. Data analysis was performed using content analysis techniques, which involve a thorough examination of the textual elements within the film. The results of the study show that the representation of feminism in Sleep Call is reflected in 13 scenes that illustrate various forms of gender injustice, consisting of 1 scene of marginalization, 1 scene of subordination, 2 scenes of stereotypes, 7 scenes of violence, and 2 scenes of workload. These findings highlight how Sleep Call represents gender injustice issues relevant to feminist studies and can serve as a reference for integrating social issues into the Indonesian language teaching module.

Abstract

Socialization of best Practices for the teachers of SDN 10 Mungguk Ibul, Sukadana, Kayong Utara Regency, is essential in preparing and equipping teachers with writing skills (best Practices). This is necessary for teachers to continuously improve the quality of teaching and enhance students' learning achievements optimally, enabling them to meet the demands of the times. Method used to enhance teachers' abilities and skills in creating best Practices is socialization. The results of this socialization activity are: (1) Teachers understand the meaning of best Practices, (2) teachers know how to implement best Practices in the field of education, (3) teachers understand the benefits of best Practices, (4) teachers understand how to apply best Practices, (5) teachers know examples of best Practice themes, (6) teachers understand the differences between Classroom Action Research and best Practices, and (7) teachers know how to write best Practices. Therefore, this socialization is important for teachers.

Abstract

The use of textbooks has become an urgent need for performing art student at FKIP Untan. Therefore, This research was conducted with the aim of developing a Basic Bowed String Instrument Textbook to serve as a guide for students and lecturers, in order to achieve good learning outcomes in accordance with the curriculum objectives. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. The research design used in this study is the 4-D Research and Development with the Borg and Gall Model. The development of teaching materials based on textbooks is carried out in several stages, namely the needs analysis stage, product development, and product testing, which is conducted twice: a small group trial with 8 students in the first stage and a large group trial with 17 students. The data collection instruments used were the needs analysis for lecturers and the needs analysis for students in the form of questionnaires and observation sheets. Qualitative data were obtained from expert and student evaluations in the form of suggestions and feedback on the product plan. Quantitative data were obtained from questionnaires resulting from small group trials and large group trials. The data analysis technique used was quantitative descriptive analysis with percentages. The score obtained from media experts (87%) falls into the valid category, and the score from music learning experts (88.3%) also falls into the valid category. The average results of the trials in both small and large groups show a sufficiently valid percentage (75.82%), allowing the textbook to be used with minor revisions.
