Abstract

This study aims of analyzing These types of language styles are used to show the soul and personality of the author through the use of language styles. This research uses a stylistic study, descriptive method in the form of qualitative research. The data source of this research is a collection of poetry Salah Piknik by Joko Pinurbo with data in the form of quotations in the form of stanzas or lines. The data collection technique used is a documentary study with the researcher as a data collection tool. The data that has been collected is tested for validity with reader persistence and theoretical triangulation. Based on the results of data collection and analysis, it was found that metaphorical language style in 20 poetry, personification language style in 15 poetry, irony language style in 11 poetry, anaphora language style in 6 poetry, anticlimax language style in 1 poetry, simile language style in 1 poetry, hyperbole language style in 1 poetry and metonymy language style in 5 poetry. This research has a connection to the 2013 curriculum for Indonesian Language and Literature subjects at the high school level, class XII even semester. The results of this study are expected to be used by teachers as teaching materials in schools related to literature learning materials

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the speed of reading ability of grade X students of SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak. The method used is descriptive to describe the ability of students in speed reading, with the form of research that is qualitative. The subjects of this study were 34 students of class X G SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak. The data obtained is the result of the reading speed of students in the discourse that has been given in the form of speed of reading ability test results, determining the main idea of paragraphs, and understanding the content of the discourse. The results of the analysis of the speed of reading ability of grade X students of SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak based on the ideal speed category for high school students are 14 students who have speeds below average, people with average / ideal speed, and 15 people above average. Furthermore, the results of determining the main idea of the students' paragraph were three people got good grades (B), nine people got enough marks (C), and 16 people got less marks (D). Finally, the results of the analysis of the ability to understand the content of discourse of grade X students of SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak were four people who got a very good grade category (A), 10 people got a good grade category (B), four people 129 got a sufficient score category (C), and 16 people got a less score category (D).

Abstract

This was aimed to describe, analyze, and interpret the analysis results of the icons, indexes, and symbols in Mahmud Mursalin's Syair Gulung Ketapang and is implementation into a learning material. The method applied in this study was descriptive in the form of qualitative research with a semiotic approach. Source of data in this study was Syair Gulung Ketapang by Mahmud Mursalin. Data gathered was icons, indexes, and symbols in the form of words, phrases, or sentences contained in Syair Gulung. Data was collected using documentary study technique with the researcher herself as a data collection tool. According to data analysis results, there were found 352 data from the three analyses. The research results can be implementes into Bahasa Indonesia instructions in schools about concluding the content of poetry at junior high school level or its equivalent in class VII, even semester, especially on Basic Competence (KD) 3.13 and 4.13 in curriculum 2013.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the reader's understanding of the character development of the main character in Akhmad Benyamin's Baliatn drama script. The theory used in this study is the theory of behaviorism from B.F Skinner. This study uses a descriptive method, with a qualitative research form. The data source for this study is the Baliatn drama script by Akhmad Benyamin. The data collection technique used is the documentation technique. The data in this study are the dialogues of the characters in the form of quotations of words, phrases and sentences which show the development of the main character's character and the factors that influence it. KD 3.18 embarrassing the storyline, act by act, and conflict in the drama that is read or watched and 4.18 Shows one of the characters in the drama that is read or watched orally. Indicator 3.18.1 Identify scenes and conflicts in the Baliatn drama script by Akhmad Benyamin that is read. 3.18.2 Explaining the stages and conflicts in the Baliatn drama script by Akhmad Benyamin that is read. 3.18.3 Analyzing the scenes and conflicts in the Baliatn drama script by Akhmad Benyamin that is read. 3.18.4 Analyzing the character of the main character in the Baliatn drama script by Akhmad Benyamin and 4.18.1 Playing the role of one of the characters in the Baliatn drama script by Akhmad Benyamin being read and 4.18.1 Playing the role of one of the characters in the drama script which is read in accordance with the character's character.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the results of the analysis of the pantun in antar cikram tradition on the premarriage of the Pemangkat Malay community. The research method used is descriptive with the form of qualitative research. This research uses structural approach, semiotic approach, and sociological approach to literature. The data source of this research is pantun in antar cikram tradition spoken by pantun speakers. Data collection techniques using direct observation techniques. The results of this research are the structure, meaning, and function of the pantun in antar cikram tradition. The structures found were diction, imagery, concrete words, figurative languange, rhyme, theme, feeling, tone and atmoshphere, and mandate. The meanings found are denotative meanings and connotative meanings. The functions found are recreational, didactic, aesthetic, morality, and religious functions. Pantun in antar cikram tradition on the premarriage of the Pemangkat Malay community there are 32 pantun with the presentation of text editing and text translation at two antar cikram tradition events. Based on results of data analysis, there are 217 data on the structure of the pantun, 32 data on the meaning of the pantun, and 26 data on the function of the pantun.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and interpret the results of an analysis of education values in the novel Merry Riana Mimpi Sejuta Dolar by Alberthiene Endah, as well as develop a learning design using the novel as learning material. This study uses a descriptive menthod with a qualitative research form. The approach used is the socialogy of literature. The source of data in this research is novel Merry Riana Mimpi Sejuta Dolar by Alberthiene Endah. Data collection technique using documentary study technique. Data analysuis techniques by means of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. The results of this study indicate the educational values contained in novel Merry Riana Mimpi Sejuta Dolar, namely the value of moral education and the value of religious education. The values of moral education include responsibility, never give up, perseverance, hard work, and courage. The values of religious education include praying, believing, being grateful, and being sincere in the novel. Researchers have designed a lesson plan that utilizes the novel as learning material, specifically to achieve KD 3.9 and 4.9 in class XII SMA.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the emotions of the main character in the novel Everything That Sucks the Sky by Pinto Anugrah. This research uses descriptive methods and qualitative forms of research. The approach used is a literary psychology approach using David Krech's Perspective theory. The data source is a document in the form of a novel. The novel used is the novel Everything That Sucks the Sky by Pinto Anugrah. The technique carried out is a documentary study technique. The tools used are stationery and laptops. The results of this study show that the emotional analysis of Bungo Rabiah includes basic emotions, namely happy, angry, afraid, and sad. Emotions associated with sensory stimuli are pain, disgust, and pleasure. Emotions related to self-assessment are success, pride, shame, and regret. Emotions associated with others include love and hate. RPP has been designed by utilizing the novel Everything That Sucks the Sky by Pinto Anugrah as learning material, specifically to achieve KD 3.9 and 4.9 grade XII of high school.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the influence of positive and negative emotions on the main character"™s attitude and the implementation of this research in Indonesian language learning at school. The benefits of this research are divided into theoretical and practical benefits. The theory used in this research is B.F. Skinner's theory. This research used descriptive qualitative method and used behavioural psychology approach. The data source in this research is the novel Hello by Tere Liye with data in the form of quotes, phrases, sentences, and paragraphs. The data collection technique used documentary study technique. The data collection tool for this research is the researcher herself as the primary instrument. The results indicate that: (1) Positive emotions including joy, love, admiration, and pleasure affect the main character's attitude. (2) Negative emotions including anger, hate, sadness, fear, and anxiety affect the main character's attitude. (3) The novel Hello by Tere Liye can be used as a teaching module for Indonesian language subjects and as a learning material to achieve learning objectives in class XII SMA.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the structure and the language rules of procedure texts by students of SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak in Indonesian language learning. The method used in this research is descriptive with qualitative research form. The data collection technique used was documentary study. The data source of this research is the procedure text of the work of class VII D students totaling 35 at SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak in the 2023/2024 school year. The data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the research analysis from the structure aspect as many as 28 students made the essay got an assessment score of 50 with very good assessment criteria, 7 students got an assessment score of 40 with good assessment criteria, from the aspect of language rules as many as 8 students made the essay got an assessment score of 60 with very good assessment criteria, 15 students got an assessment score of 50 with very good assessment criteria, 9 students got an assessment score of 40 with good assessment criteria, 2 students got an assessment score of 30 with sufficient assessment criteria, 1 student got an assessment score of 10 with very poor assessment criteria.

Abstract

This research aims and is motivated by the idea of documenting the oral literature of the Malay community in the Punggur Besar area, Sungai Kakap sub-district, Kubu Raya regency. The problem in this research is what are the moral values of the community regarding the Serapah Buaya folklore in the Punggur Besar area, Sungai Kakap District, Kubu Raya Regency. The research method used is descriptive, a qualitative form of research and the approach used is the sociology of literary works. The data source in this research is the folklore text Serapah Buaya. There are four techniques used in this research, namely direct research involvement techniques, interview techniques, recording techniques, and recording techniques. The data collection tool is the researcher himself as the key instrument with the assistance of several supporting tools, namely a list of questions, a voice recorder, camera, laptop and stationery. The results of the analysis of research data regarding moral values, there are four moral values reflected in the Serapah Buaya folklore and one implementation of research on learning in schools, namely (1) Moral values of human relationship with God, namely (gratitude, prayer, and steadfastness) (2) The moral values of human relationships with themselves are (self-esteem, fear and obligation towards oneself) (3) The moral values of human relationships with other humans, namely (helping others, helping the weak selflessly, and respecting each other) (4) Moral values human relationship with the natural environment, namely (loving animals and plants).
