Abstract: In the era of globalization, local wisdom values are increasingly marginalized, especially among elementary school students who are exposed to foreign cultures through technology and social media. This study aims to determine the impact of globalization on students' awareness of local wisdom and the importance of integrating local cultural values in character education. Using the literature review method, it was found that globalization has reduced students' awareness of local values such as gotong royong, integrity, and responsibility, which are now replaced by individualistic lifestyles. The research findings show that although local wisdom has an important role in character development, it has not been optimized in the primary school curriculum. To overcome this challenge, integrated strategies and cooperation between teachers, schools and communities are needed.Abstrak: Di era globalisasi, nilai-nilai kearifan lokal semakin terpinggirkan, terutama di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar yang terpapar budaya asing melalui teknologi dan media sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak globalisasi terhadap kesadaran siswa akan kearifan lokal dan pentingnya mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai budaya lokal dalam pendidikan karakter. Dengan menggunakan metode tinjauan literatur, ditemukan bahwa globalisasi telah mengurangi kesadaran siswa akan nilai-nilai lokal seperti gotong royong, integritas, dan tanggung jawab, yang sekarang digantikan oleh gaya hidup individualistis. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun kearifan lokal memiliki peran penting dalam pengembangan karakter, namun belum dioptimalkan dalam kurikulum sekolah dasar. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, diperlukan strategi dan kerja sama yang terintegrasi antara guru, sekolah, dan masyarakat.
