Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of financial performance on financial distress with company value as an intervening variable in construction companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2022. The number of samples in this research was 19 companies with an observation period of 3 years so the total research sample was 57. The results of this research show that: (1) Financial performance has a positive and significant effect on company value. (2) Financial performance has a positive and significant effect on financial distress. (3) Company value has a negative and insignificant effect on financial distress. (4) Financial performance has a negative and insignificant effect on financial distress with company value as an intervening variable.

Abstract

The faster information spreads, the more important it is for companies to publicize the good and minimize problems that can harm the company's reputation and value. Environmental pollution cases and issues are the reasons why positive information is very attractive to investors. Therefore, this study aims to test (1) Does Environmental Social Governance affect firm value, (2) Does Profitability affect firm value, (3) Does Capital structure affect Firm Value and (4) Does Environmental Social Governance, profitability and Capital structure jointly affect firm value in Indonesia. In this study, the population used was industrial sector companies totaling 56 companies and those used as samples in this study were 49 companies that were consecutively listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for 3 years in 2020-2022. The sample of this study was determined by random sampling method. The type of research and data used is quantitative with secondary data. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis and uses SPSS 26 software. The results showed that (1) Environmental Social Governance variables affect firm value, (2) Profitability variables affect firm value, (3) Capital structure affects firm value and (4) Environmental Social Governance, profitability and Capital structure together affect firm value.

Abstract

Writing this article aims to find out the development of Financial Accounting as well as challenges in the digital era. Along with the increasingly complex business environment, the demands of Financial Accounting for transparency and accountability are increasing. This encourages participation and what is the role of financial accounting and what are the challenges in this digital era as the reliability of a financial report. In this article, we review several objective literature reviews as a reference for the study. This article also discusses the history of financial accounting in the world and in Indonesia, and the challenge is the lack of understanding of technology by financial managers which affects the performance and effectiveness of their positions so that people who are competent in the field of accounting may be replaced by people who are competent in the field of technology and then day.

Abstract

Cost volume profit analysis (cost volume profit) is a tool in planning the profit expected by the company by connecting the links between costs, volumes, and profits of a company. While profit planning is to determine what actions the company's management will take during a certain period of time in relation to the profit target to be achieved by the company. The purpose of this research is to describe the results of the cost volume profit analysis in profit planning which is expected to use cost volume profit analysis. This research was conducted at PT. Unilever Indonesia Tbk. which have been listed on the IDX. The method used in this research is descriptive method. While the analysis used in this study is quantitative analysis in which there is a calculation of cost volume profit analysis and profit planning. This profit volume cost analysis will be analyzed using break even point analysis, margin of safety, operating leverage and profit target planning analysis. The data used comes from the 2019- 2021 profit and loss financial statements belonging to PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk. Companies that have many product variants such as PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk are suitable to use cost- volume profit analysis as the basis for planning corporate profits. The results of the study generally show that the company is able to exceed the expected profit target and exceed the break-even point, even though the value and ratio of the margin of safety decreased successively from 2019 to 2021.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of profitability ratios, cash flows, exchange rates, interest rates, and inflation on financialdistress in manufacturing companies. The research method used in this study includes a statistical description test, classicassumption test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and autocorrelation test. The results of this study can be concluded:1) Profit, cash flow, leverage, inflation and exchange rates simultaneously affect financial distress in manufacturing sectorcompanies; 2) profitability affects financial distress in manufacturing companies; 3) Cash flow affects financial distress inmanufacturing sector companies; 4) The exchange rate has an effect on financial distress in manufacturing sector companies; 5)Interest rates have no effect on financial distress in manufacturing sector companies; and 6) Inflation has no effect on financialdistress in manufacturing sector companies.

Abstract

The research is intended to analyze the financial performance of the company PT Adhi Commuter Properti Tbk based on its financial statements. From the annual financial reports of PT Adhi Commuter Properti Tbk, data was obtained for the 2020-2022 period. The assessment used is the liquidity ratio, then profitability, ROA, and ROE. In addition, analysis of profit and revenue growth and cash flow is also carried out to evaluate the company's financial performance. The analysis was carried out to find out how PT Adhi Commuter Properti Tbk utilizes its financial resources in developing the property business and how the company gains profit in its business. This research provides insights for investors and decision makers to improve their company's financial performance and find out how PT Adhi Commuter Properti Tbk can utilize its financial resources effectively in its property business.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the General Allocation Fund (DAU), Special Allocation Fund (DAK, and Regional Original Revenue (PAD) on Bungo Regency local government capital expenditure allocation for 2016-2021. The subject of this study is the Bungo Regency government, and the object of this study is the General Allocation Fund (DAU), Special Allocation Fund (DAK), Local Original Revenue (PAD), and Capital Expenditure Allocation. The type of data collected is quantitative data sourced from Budget Realization Reports and documents. The method used in this study is the Multiple Linear Regression test. The results showed that the General Allocation Fund (DAU), Special Allocation Fund (DAK), and Regional Original Revenue (PAD) together have a significant effect on the Capital Expenditure Allocation in Bungo Regency. Abstract

To prepare financial reports, small and medium businesses usually do not follow applicable standards. Cash taken from daily cash movements is usually used in MSME financial reports. Institutions in Indonesia By issuing Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Financial Accounting Standards (SAK EMKM), which took effect from 1 January 2018, accountants are trying to help MSMEs in this field overcome obstacles to preparing financial reports. SAK EMKM is easy to implement and the financial statements prepared according to it are prepared on an accrual basis. The purpose of this lesson is to apply the EMKM SAK in preparing the financial statements of ADB's small and medium enterprises in Jambi. Primary data obtained from documentary evidence of transactions, interviews, and direct observation were used in this study, which was conducted through a qualitative case study methodology. The results of the research are the ADB MSME financial statements in the form of statements of financial position, profit and loss statements and notes to financial statements.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of ROI (Return on Investment) and ROE (Return on Equity) on share prices at CIMB Niaga during the 2018-2021 period. ROI and ROE are financial metrics used to evaluate a company's financial performance. The stock price reflects the market value of the company and is an important indicator for investors in making investment decisions. This research method uses secondary data in the form of CIMB Niaga's financial statements during the period under study. ROI, ROE, and stock price data were collected and analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and multiple linear regression. In addition, this study also analyzes the trend of the company's financial performance during the period studied.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the accuracy of the calculation of the cost of production of batik in the batik industry in Jambi City using the Activity Based Costing Method and to determine the difference in product costs using the Activity Based Costing Method and the system applied by the batik industry in Jambi City. The research object to be studied is the application of the Activity Based Costing Method in the batik industry in Jambi City. The population of this research is the batik industry in Jambi City. Samples were selected based on predetermined criteria. This study uses qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis methods, namely qualitative descriptive analysis, namely explaining, summarizing various conditions and problems that arise in the object of the study. Based on what happened and compared with the actual situation on the object under study. The results showed that the Production Cost with the ABC system approach resulted in lower costs. This cost is obtained by calculating the labor cost rate and factory overhead costs. Where direct labor costs are the most significant costs in production activities. The cost calculation makes a significant difference. The cost calculation carried out by the company produces a greater cost, and has a difference for each unit of product. This is because the overhead rates have not been allocated properly. So it is necessary to calculate with a more accurate approach, namely with an alternative approach to the Activity Based Costing method so that it can produce accurate costs.
