Abstract

Tale is the folklore in the form of poem that is sung. This study aims to gain in-depth understanding of the structure of Tale poem in the release of the Kerinci pilgrims. This qualitative study employed content analysis as the method with a structural approach. This study discussed the structure of the Tale poem. The results of the study are Tale poem consists of sampiran phrase, the rhyme/ sound phrase, and content. It composed by ten lines to twenty lines. It has ab ab rhyme according to the sound phrase flanking each line. The sound expression serves as rhyme and rhythm former.

Abstract

Riwok verbal literature is a customary speech text delivered at the ceremonial feast of Sko. This study aims to interpret the expressions contained in the Riwok text through Semiotic Review. This study is a qualitative study using semiotic approach. Semiotic approach used to assess the meaning of the phrase in the text of verbal literature Riwok is based on semiotic theory of Charles Sanders Peirce, namely the triangular theory of meaning or meaning triangle which consists of three main elements, namely the sign, object, and interpretant. Signs, according to Peirce, consists of symbol (signs created from agreement), Icon (sign created from physical representation) and Index (sign created from cause-effect relationships). The results of the study found that in in the expression of Riwok text there are icon, index, and symbol signs. The signs were found in all Riwok texts. Based on the analysis of Riwok text, semiotic signs most commonly found is a sign of symbol. Symbols are found in the phrase which states the requirements for being an indigenous leader, a phrase which states the behavior of leaders, the phrase which states the roles, duties, and functions of traditional leaders, as well as the phrase stating customary sanctions.

Abstract

Salah satu bentuk sastra daerah Melayu Jambi adalah Legende Teluk Wang. Legende itu merupakan sastra lisan yang sangat menonjol dalam kehidupan masyarakat sebagai alat untuk mengungkapkan isi hati, menyampaikan maksud atau pikiran, dan menyampaikan suatu keadaan atau situasi yang menurut tradisi budaya harus disampaikan. Legende itu, melalui peran para tokohnya menggambarkan kehidupan perempuan yang berbeda dengan kehidupan perempuan dalam budaya Melayu Jambi jika dipandang dari sisi gender. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap perjuangan perempuan dalam Legende Teluk Wang yang dipandang dari sisi gender dan dikaitkan dengan budaya Melayu Jambi. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi (content analysis) dan pendekatan semiotik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, pertama perempuan mendapat kesempatan yang sama untuk memperjuangkan dan mengambil suatu keputusan yang penting, yaitu  ikut merintis dan menentukan perkampungan baru; kedua, laki-laki dan perempuan  bermitra dalam menjalankan perekonomian keluarga; ketiga,  laki-laki dan  perempuan mendapat bekal ilmu yang sama dari orang tuanya, seperti mendapat ilmu silat; dan keempat, perempuan dipandang sejajar dengan kaum laki-laki. Dengan demikian, perempuan diberi peran dan kedudukan  yang sama dengan kaum laki-laki dalam Legende Teluk Wang.Abstract:One form of Jambi Malay’s  literature is the  legend of  teluk Wang. The legend is an oral literature that is very prominent in public life as a tool to confide, to convey intentions or thoughts, and to express a condition or situation based on cultural traditions that must be delivered. The Legend through the role of the characters depicts different women’s lives  from their lives in Jambi Malay culture when viewed from the side of gender.  Therefore, this study attempts to reveal the struggle of women in the legend of  Teluk Wang  viewed from the side associated with gender and Jambi Malay culture. This qualitative study employs content analysis method and semiotic ap- proach. The results indicate four findings: first, the female got the same chance to fight on impor- tant decision, e.g. taking a part in  pioneering and determining new settlements; Second, men and women worked together as partners  in running the family economy; Third men and women got the same knowledge from their parents, i.e. having martial arts; fourth, women were equally treated to men. In conclusion, in legend of Teluk Wang women   had the same role and position as men. Key words: The legend of Teluk Wang, women’s struggle, gender perception

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mandeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik pada masa pandemi covid-19 yang saat ini dirasakan oleh guru dan peserta didik yang mana pelaksanaan pembelajaran dilaksanakan di rumah atau sistem jarak jauh sebagai upaya menekan penyebaran covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif digunakan untuk menguraikan, menggambarkan, menggali dan juga mendeskripsikan hasil penelitian Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas II SDIT Asy-Syifa Kota Jambi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumen analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik sudah memiliki fasilitas-fasilitas dasar yang dibutuhkan dalam pembelajaran daring seperti Handphone/Android. Dengan adanya aplikasi tersebut dapat membangkitkan minat serta motivasi belajar peserta didik yang sebelumnya peserta didik kurang termotivasi belajar hanya lewat whatshapp. Dengan adanya pembelajaran daring, membuat guru lebih kreatif dengan memanfaatkan fasilitas teknologi. Meningkatkan kemandirian, kemajuan dalam penggunaan tekhnologi dan minat belajar adalah keuntungan lain dari pembelajaran daring. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Tematik, Pembelajaran Daring, Pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

Tale is a means of a singing folklore. This research is trying to explore the cultural values of the tale performed in Kerinci’s local tradition to see the hajj participants off. This research applies a qualitative study in the form of content analysis with structural and semiotic approach. Structural approach is aimed at revealing cultural values related to structural elements of tale, and semiotic approach is used to find out the meaning of both cultural value and cultural semiotic signs as such icon, index, and symbol. The findings on the structural elements of Kerinci’s tale can be classified into: first, the tale of conventional poetry where the structure refers to the existing conventions. Second, the themes are in the forms of a separation, grief and compassion, advice, guidance, and love desire, desire, hope, or ideals. The findings on cultural value is human relationships with God are obedience, resignation, providence of God, the power of God, gratitude, the power of faith. Keywords : Tale structures, moral values, semiotic symbols.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan media audio visual terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan di kelas I SD Negeri 105/IV Kota Jambi dan apakah penggunaan Media Audio Visual dapat meningkatkan pemahaman membaca permulaan kelas I SDN 105/IV Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) dengan menggunakan desain model dari Kemmis & McTaggart. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriftif yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas I SD Negeri 105/IV Kota Jambi yang berjumlah 13 orang siswa, terdiri dari 03 orang siswa laki-laki dan 10 orang siswa perempuan. Metode pengumpulan data melalui data : lembar observasi guru, catatan siswa, observasi dengan audio visual dan hasil observasi siswa selanjutnya data hasil tindakan direfleksi untuk menentukan tindakan siklus berikutnya dan kesimpulan akhir penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan media audio visual dalam pembelajaran membaca permulaan di kelas I SD Negeri 105/IV Kota Jambi dapat meningkatkan minat dan kemampuan  membaca siswa dalam pelajaran membaca permulaan. Peningkatan minat dan kemampuan  membaca permulaan pada siswa kelas I Sekolah dasar tersebut telihat pada antusiasnya siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Siswa tertarik dengan penggunaan media audio visual dan siswa merasa nyaman selain itu siswa terlihat fokus pada saat guru menjelaskan pelajaran di kelas. Penggunaan  media audio visual pada pembelajaran membaca permulaan Sekolah dasar membuat siswa lebih mudah dalam menghafal, memahami, melafalkan huruf , suku kata dan kalimat pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Data juga menunjukan dari 13 orang siswa 10 orang siswa telah dapat membaca dengan intonasi yang tepat dan lancar. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa penerapan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan minat belajar siswa khususnya pada pelajaran membaca permulaan di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: 1. Struktur sastra lisan Krinok yang mencakup: tema, diksi, imaji, irama, rima, larik, dan bait, 2. Tanda-tanda dalam sastra lisan Krinok yang berupa: ikon, indeks dan simbol. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan deskriptif-kualitatif dengan peneliti sebagai instrument. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan struktural-semiotik terhadap sastra lisan Krinok. Data penelitian ini, yakni teks dokumen Krinok dengan sumber data VCD dan wawancara dengan informan. Data yang sudah terkumpul dianalisis dengan teknik konten analisis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada struktur sastra lisan Krinok telah ditemukan lima tema, empat diksi yang khas, tiga jenis imaji, empat jenis irama, empat jenis rima, empat jenis larik, dan enam jenis bait. Sedangkan pada unsur semiotik Krinok telah ditemukan tanda berupa ikon, indeks dan simbol. This study aims to describe: 1. Krinok oral literary structure which includes: theme, diction, image, rhythm, rhyme, array, and stanza, 2. Signs in Krinok oral literature in the form of: icons, indexes and symbols. This research uses descriptive-qualitative design with researchers as an instrument. The approach in this research is a semiotic-structural approach to Krinok oral literature. The data of this study, namely the text of Krinok documents with VCD data sources and interviews with informants. The collected data is analyzed by content analysis technique. Based on the results of research and discussion it can be concluded that in Krinok oral literary structure have been found five themes, four diction typical, three types of images, four types of rhythm, four types of rhymes, four types of arrays, and six types of stanza. While on the element of semiotik Krinok has been found in the form of icons, indexes and symbols.

Abstract

This research was carried out based on the implementation of the mathematics learning process carried out by the teacher. The problems encountered are that there are still many obstacles experienced by teachers in learning mathematics. This is evident from the not optimal mathematics learning process carried out by the teacher. This research is a qualitative research that aims to determine the strategies used and applied by teachers in the smooth implementation of mathematics learning at SDN No. 139/III Lempur Mudik Kerinci Regency. The research subject is the teacher of SDN No. 139/III Lempur Mudik is a fourth grade teacher, where the data taken are in the form of observation data, interviews, and documentation. This research is expected to produce the right strategy for teachers in the implementation of mathematics learning while still paying attention to the conditions and readiness of teachers and students

Abstract

This research was carried out based on the implementation of the learning process carried out by teachers in schools. The problems encountered are still many students who have difficulty in participating in learning activities, especially thematic learning. This is evident from the low scores of students in the evaluation of student learning outcomes. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which aims to determine the use of the question and answer method in increasing learning activities for elementary school students during the covid-19 pandemic. The research was carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were 6 students of class V SDN 28/III Talang Kemuning, where the data taken was in the form of observation data through teacher performance observation sheets and student activities and evaluation sheets in the form of thematic learning assessment sheets carried out in each learning process. This research was conducted in 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and evaluation and reflection. The results of this study indicate that the use of the question and answer method can increase the learning activities of fifth grade students at SDN 28/III Talang Kemuning during the covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Multimedia learning can be used to help facilitate the process and understanding in learning, and increase interest in learning, this is because it is presented with attractive pictures and animations, accompaniment music and voice presenters, short duration of time, using a scientific approach in accordance with the revised 2013 curriculum. This study aims to: 1) Develop a scientific-based learning multimedia design for elementary students 2). Knowing the feasibility of scientific-based learning multimedia for elementary students, 3). The response of teachers and students to learning media as a result of development. This type of research is research and development (R & D). The development design model refers to the 4D model with 4 stages, namely: Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. The research instruments used were observation sheets and questionnaires. The data obtained are in the form of qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data is in the form of comments and suggestions from experts/validators of media and materials. Quantitative data were obtained from questionnaire scores with a Likert range scale. The feasibility of the product is assessed based on the feasible and very feasible product category with a percentage between 80-100%. Media that are already feasible are tested on small group and large group test subjects. The results of the assessment from media experts got 92% with very valid criteria, and from material experts it was 86.7% with very valid criteria. The results of the feasibility/practical assessment through student response questionnaires at the trial stage show very practical criteria
