Abstract

This research aimed to develop textbooks containing short stories for young learners based on character education for the fourth grade students at one elementary school. The research subjects were elementary school students, while the research object was children's stories. Children's stories are tales that narrate a story close to the world of children and use language that is easy to be understood by them. The children's story textbook developed in this research was a literary work that reflects the value of character education. The method used was Research and Development. The result was a textbook to teach the fourth-grade students in the state elementary school, which contains children's story based on character education values. The findings illustrated by the expert validation showed that the textbook was feasible. It was effective since the learning results increased. In the trial, the learning goal was achieved in the time allocated. The textbook fascination was described from the interview result with the teacher and students at the trial. In addition, the student's responses to learning with the textbook were reflected in their enthusiastic learning behaviors. The assessment conducted by the teacher revealed that the average score was 89%, while the individual trial was 84%, the small trial was 96%, and the field trial was 97%. In conclusion, the children’s story textbook book based on character education was considered very interesting, precise, clear, and appropriate.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Tematik menggunakan model pembelajaran Radec pada kelas VI di SDN 154/IV  Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus dan terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, refleksi. Tiap siklus dilaksanakan sesuai dengan perubahan yang akan dicapai. Kegiatan pembelajaran pada penelitian ini sudah dilaksanakan dengan mengikuti tahapan model pembelajaran Radec. Tahapan-tahapan pembelajaran pada model Radec dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa. Kegiatan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Radec ini telah menunjukkan hasil yang efektif dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran Tematik di kelas VI  SDN 154/IV Kota Jambi. Adapun hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan sebagai berikut: pada siklus I skor keaktifan belajar siswa 5,3 dan meningkat pada siklus ke II dengan skor 8. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka penelitian ini dikatakan berhasil dengan kategori baik.

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan yang ditemukan pada pembelajaran tematik di sekolah dasar adalah bahwa proses pembelajaran kurang bervariasi dan masih bersifat konvensional yaitu pada saat proses pembelajaran guru hanya terbiasa menggunakan metode ceramah dan penugasan yang mengakibatkan proses pembelajaran terkesan monoton sehingga mengakibatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pelaksanaan pembelajaran terbalik (Reciprocal Teaching) terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus, masing-masing sikluas 2 kali pertemuan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas VI SD Negeri 79/IV Kota Jambi tahun ajaran 2022/2023 sebanyak 20 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari lembar observasi guru dan siswa serta tes berupa essay untuk melihat aktivitas belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (i) Kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran terbalik (Reciprocal Teaching) mengalami peningkatan di setiap pertemuan. (ii) Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran terbalik (Reciprocal Teaching) pada siswa Kelas VI SD Negeri 79/IV Kota Jambi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the preparation of HOTS-based questions in state junior high school 3 Jambi City and its supporting and inhibiting factors. This study uses data collection methods with observation, interviews and documents. This study uses a qualitative analysis technique method that focuses on describing an event and events that have occurred at the time the research was conducted. The results of this study indicate that the preparation of HOTS learning is carried out starting when designing learning activities in lesson plans, during the implementation of learning in class through preliminary activities, core activities, and closing, and also implemented through assignments and Daily Assessments (DA), Mid Semester Assessments (MSA). and Final Semester Assessment (FSA). Supporting factors from the central government through LPMP, City Government/ Jambi City Education Office, MGMP Rayon and MGMP Kota, Education Unit/ Principal. The inhibiting factors for teachers at state junior high school 3 Jambi City are difficulties in determining the stimulus, students are not used to it, lack of references.

Abstract

Perkembangan bahasa anak perlu dibahas terutama struktur bahasa anak-anak. Pada penelitian ini penulis memfokuskan kepada perkembangan struktur bahasa secara internal pada usia anak-anak. Penelitian ini penulis lakukan dengan harapan dapat mengetahu dan memahami perkembangan struktur bahasa secara internal pada anak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. pengumpulan data dilakukan oleh peneliti melalui wawancara (orang tua, anak) dan observasi secara langsung ke lapangan. Tahap analisis data dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas tiga tahap, yaitu reduksi, tahap penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bahwa struktur bahasa anak secara internal dapat dilihat dan dikaji dari 4 blok yaitu 1) fonologi , dimana pada bagian fonologi ada 4 tahapan yang dilalui anak yaitu tahao praujaran, tahap satu kata, tahap duakata, dan tahap penggabungan kata. 2) morfologi, dimana ditemukan sebanyak empat belas kata bentukan yang dihasilkan oleh anak-anak, 3) Sintaksis, Anak mampu untuk memproduksi bahasa sasaran untuk mewakili apa yang ia maksud. Dan 4) Semantik, Salah satu bentuk awal yang dikuasai anak adalah nomina.

Abstract

Artikel ini mendeskripsikan peran dan fungsi bahasa pada generasi milenial di era industri 4.0 dan abad 21. Bahasa merupakan suatu alat yang digunakan untuk berkomunikasi pada manusia dan dari bahasa itulah kita dapat pemahaman apa yang sedang kita bicarakan. Bahasa Indonesia merupakan bahasa yang digunakan oleh masyarakat yang mendiami suatu wilayah, yaitu wilayah Indonesia.Sementara itu, era milenial yang ditandai dengan jangkauan informasi yang sangat luas membuat seseorang mudah berinteraksi baik itu di dalam negeri maupun luar negeri. Adanya perkembangan teknologi tidak terlepas dari kata eksistensi bahasa, abad 21 dan dorongan revolusi industri 4.0 yang membuat kita semakin bersaing di kancah Internasional dan dapat memberikan keuntungan dalam meningkatkan taraf kehidupan suatu negara. Adanya kemajuan ini terlihat di bidang industri yang mengubah cara kerja / pandangan manusia dengan otomatis / digital melalui inovasi-inovasi yang dimiliki dan mampu berkembang pesat.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to answer how the application of TikTok as an ICT-based learning media on lecture text material using the discovery learning method. This research is a qualitative research in descriptive study. The data sources of this research were obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation. The technique of taking informants is random sampling. Data collection techniques are triangulated. Data analysis techniques are carried out with three stages, namely reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the TikTok application can be done by making video lessons of lecture material and uploading them in general. Thus students can listen to lecture text material through their respective TikTok and can repeat the material anytime and anywhere.

Abstract

Folklore adalah adat istiadat tradisi tradisional dan cerita rakyat yang diwariskan secara turun temurun. Ada 3 macam folklore yaitu foklore lisan, folklore sebagian lisan, dan folklore bukan lisan. Jenis penelitian plaho ini merupakan jenis penelitian foklore sebagian lisan yang mencampurkan dua unsur yaitu upacara dan mantra. Makna yang di pakai adalah makna kultural yang mana penelitian ini berfokus pada makna leksikal dan kultural dari mantra dan bahan alat tradisi lisan plaho ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah makna dari mantra dan alat bahan yang terdapat dalam pelaksanaan tradisi lisan plaho. Di temukan 10 mantra dan 35 macam bahan dan alat dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Competence in writing prose fiction is one of the writing competencies that Indonesian literature students must have. The higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) based fiction writing competency assessment instrument is something that cannot be separated from students' achievement of fiction prose writing competency. HOTS-based competency assessment is one of the measuring tools in the process of developing student writing competency. This research was a literature review research on the implementation of a HOTS-based fiction writing competency assessment instrument in higher education. This research used the PRISMA method. A search for relevant literature was carried out through Google Scholar database with the criteria being limited to articles published in Sinta 1-3 indexed journals in 2016-2023. 12 articles met the criteria and became material for analysis. The results of these findings indicated that the research related to learning to write HOTS-based fiction prose in higher education had not yet been carried out. The HOTS-based writing competency assessment instrument in higher education had only been used for general Indonesian language learning, it had not been used in the realm of literature learning. The findings of this systematic literature review recommended that there was a need for further research in the field of development, implementation, and evaluation of Indonesian literature learning assessment instruments, especially the development of HOTS-based fiction prose writing competency assessment instruments in higher education.

Abstract

One of the issues that is capturing the world's attention today is environmental issues. Ancient societies had a concern for the environment. Environmental education efforts can be implemented in the School Literacy Movement. To that end, this research will answer the following research questions: 2). How is the natural element in the oral literature of society? 3) How are the efforts to revitalize oral literature and the literacy movement in schools? This study used PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review) for the search strategy and the systematic review approach on the selected articles. Relevant literature searches were conducted throughout the Garuda portal. Research results have shown that oral literature plays an important role in society. The important position is because oral literature comes with a variety of functions, namely: (1) As a religious means of a string of prayers and hope to God; (2) As a means of recreation after a long day's work; (3) As a means of education to convey messages of goodness from parents to their children; (4) As a remedy, they mixed spells with plants and other objects; (5) As a means of stimulating the economy in the fields of agriculture, plantations, and the sea; (6). A medium of criticism and advice in the social field of society. Attempts at revitalization have been made in several ways. Among them, collecting old literature in the form of encyclopedia books, anthologies, and textbooks. In addition, it is necessary to make efforts to make oral literature more enjoyable for the younger generation.
