Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of researching and evaluating the New Student Admission Zoning System Policy (PPDB) at the State Middle School level in the City of Surabaya. This research analysis was carried out using a qualitative descriptive approach. The research results show that the zoning system implemented is considered effective in achieving its main goal, namely equal distribution of quality education. However, other parents are disappointed because their children cannot attend public junior high schools because the distance between home and school is too far. So that the zoning system policy for Admission of New Students (PPDB) in State Middle Schools in Surabaya City in the future can be more optimal, the government will pay more attention to the problems faced by students during the registration process. The government must also see directly whether socialization is carried out immediately so that the implementation of the PPDB zoning system can be carried out optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the kinesthetic intelligence of students of the PGSD FKIP University of Bengkulu study program through learning the Basic Concepts of Dance. The research method used is action research conducted in 2 cycles. The research subjects were 38 students of the VC semester. The data collection technique used was observation with a scale of 1-4 for 19 indicators of kinesthetic intelligence and processed by the percentage technique. Based on the results of the study, students' kinesthetic intelligence increased in each cycle. Indicators in categories 1 (poor) and 2 (adequate) decreased in each cycle and indicators in categories 3 (good) and 4 (very good) increased in each cycle. Students are enthusiastic about participating in the lecture process. Kinesthetic intelligence can increase because the exercise is carried out continuously and directed.

Abstract

Supplementary Feeding (PMT) is an activity of providing food to toddlers who have a nutritionally deficient status in the form of food that contains nutrients according to their needs. In the research on the analysis of the supplementary feeding program on the nutritional status of toddlers as an effort to prevent stunting in Posyandu Kesamben Hamlet, Kesamben Village, Ngajum District, Malang Regency using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. In addition, this research was also conducted by presenting a complete picture of the form of Posyandu services in Kesamben Hamlet which aims to observe and observe specifically with the target target in the form of supplementary feeding programs on the nutritional status of toddlers. The results of research conducted at the three Posyandu can be seen that there are three children who are at risk of stunting and one child has a stunting status. Aside from the four toddlers, all toddlers can be potentially stunted, so additional food is given as an effort to prevent stunting.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis buku Tematik siswa SD muatan Seni Budaya dan Prakarya (SBdP) ditinjau dari unsur Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM). Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu studi kepustakaan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subyek penelitian yaitu buku tematik siswa SD muatan SBdP Kurikulum 2013 Revisi 2018 dan obyek penelitian adalah unsur STEAM. Adapun langkah-langkah dalam penelitian kepustakaan adalah 1) Pemilihan topik, 2) Eksplorasi informasi, 3) Menentukan fokus penelitian, 4) Pengumpulan sumber data, 5) Persiapan penyajian data, 6) Penyusunan laporan. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis isi secara deskriptif dengan teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase kemunculan unsur STEAM pada buku Tematik Muatan SBdP paling tinggi mencapai 26,89% untuk semua jenjang kelas yaitu pada unsur sains di kelas 2. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku Tematik Muatan SBdP belum menunjukkan kemunculan ideal unsur STEAM.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perlunya pengembangan Media Augmented Reality untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru sekolah dasar di kota Bengkulu dalam bidang Seni Tari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan menyebarkan kuesioner menggunakan Google form. Subyek penelitian adalah 75 orang guru sekolah dasar di Kota Bengkulu yang tidak memiliki latar belakang pendidikan seni tari. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan rumus persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media Augmented Reality untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru sekolah dasar bidang seni tari mencapai persentase ≥ 90%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media Augmented Reality sangat dibutuhkan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of making art works made from clay flour and works of fine art made from clay flour in class IV A SDN 32 Bengkulu City. This type of research is qualitative, with participant observation techniques, and qualitative descriptive method. The research subjects were all students of class IV A 32 elemnetary school in Bengkulu City, totaling 20 students. The research instrument used was a human instrument (the researcher himself), by using observation guidelines and interview guidlines. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out during the process of making the work and after the work was finished by referring to the fine arts elements and the principles of fine arts. Research results are (1)the process of making fine works of clay flour begins with preparing the tools and materials used, namely scissors, cutter, small rollers, straw, pins, toothpicks, cutton bud handles, ruler, lighters and painting brushes, followed by the implementation of making works from determining the theme, making shapes out of clay’s flour dough, laying out and arranging the forms that have been made and drying the work. (2) The results of artwork made with flour clay has used the guidelines elements of fine arts and the principles of fine arts, namely the elements of point, lines, fields, shapes, colors, textures and space. Then, the principle of unity, balance, rhythm, emphasis, proportion, and harmony.

Abstract

This study describes the process of making and stencil printing technique drawings for class V C students of SDN 41 Kota Bengkulu. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods. The research instruments are observation guidelines, interviews and documentation. Data analysis is carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and verifying data. Data validity techniques are through triangulation and member check. The results of this study are (1) in the pattern perforation step, groups 1 and 5 experienced obstacles because the image pattern was broken. Then, in the sponge formation stage, group 3 was the most creative because group 3 added tape to the end of the sponge so that it formed a handle. In the paint application step, groups 2, 3, and 5 mixed colors to get new colors. When touching the dye, group 3 experienced obstacles because they mixed the paint with water so that the paint overflowed onto the canvas. (2) The work of each group has elements of points, planes, shapes, colors, textures, light and dark, and space, but the element of spots is only found in the work of groups 2 and 3. The principles of fine art are unity, balance, rhythm, emphasis, proportion, and harmony. So it can be concluded that each group has created a work of art using stencil printing techniques according to the steps given. The work produced by each group has elements and principles of fine art.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the process of making mosaic works on 3-dimensional objects using plastic waste as basic materials and the resulting mosaic work as a work of fine art. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The research subjects were 29 class III students at SD Negeri 18 Bengkulu City. The instrument in this research was the researcher himself using observation sheets, interview sheets and documentation. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis is carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. This research data validity technique uses triangulation and member checking. The results of this research are (1) The process of making a work is carried out in 4 stages, namely the stage of preparing the motif design, the stage of preparing tools and materials, the stage of sticking, and the stage of final completion. The work is made in the form of a mosaic on a 3-dimensional object, namely a pencil holder made of cardboard. Making mosaics using plastic waste as basic materials. In the process of making works, it was found that not having tools and materials ready could affect students' performance, where in group 4, who did not bring materials, namely plastic waste, group 4 had to look for plastic waste first around the school, which took more time and made the time for making their work shorter.

Abstract

The success of students' learning outcomes depends on various factors, and parental attention is one of the crucial elements among them.This study aims to determine the relationship between parental attention and the learning outcomes of class III students at SDN Gugus 14 Bengkulu City. The population of this research comprises 310 class III students, with a sample size of 47 students from SDN Gugus 14 Bengkulu City. It is a quantitative research using the correlation method. The research instruments consist of questionnaires to assess parental attention and documentation of learning outcomes in the mid-even semester assessment for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. Data analysis is performed using the "Product Moment Correlation" technique. The results indicate a correlation coefficient of 0.549 with Tcount of 0.549 > 0.288 at a significant level of 5%. Therefore, the hypothesis is accepted, and there is a significant relationship between parental attention and the learning outcomes of Class III students at SDN Gugus 14 Bengkulu City.

Abstract

 The research aims to describe the intrinsic aspects related to the theme, plot, setting, characters, and moral values in the story "Terbentuknya Nama Lebong" from the book "Cerita Rakyat Rejang by Ekorusyono and Rosyadi. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with the subject of the research being the book itself. The researcher serves as the main instrument, supported by a descriptive story guide. The story follows the theme of cooperation and sacrifice, with the main characters being the Four Bikhus: Biku Sepanjang Jiwo, Biku Bembo, Biku Bejenggo, and Biku Bermano, as well as additional characters such as the white monkey, seven teenage girls, and their children. The setting is in the Renah Seklawi region in the past, with a social context influenced by social status and spiritual beliefs. The plot follows a progressive path, while the moral values revolve around unity and sacrifice as a means to overcome challenges and disasters. In line with the characteristics of children's literature, the story avoids sensitive topics such as sexuality, hatred, or violence. The simple presentation of the story makes it easier for children to understand the moral message, and allows them to apply it in their daily lives. In conclusion, "Terbentuknya Nama Lebong" is suitable for children's literature and contributes to the understanding of moral values through a narrative that can be enjoyed by readers.
