Abstract

One of the factors in achieving student learning outcomes is scientific reasoning abilities (Scientific Reasoning) which will help students understand the main concepts of science. However, the PISA study categorized Indonesian students' scientific reasoning abilities as low, ranking 70th out of 78 countries in science and mathematics. This research aims to develop LKPD based on Learning Cycle 5E assisted by PhET Simulation that is valid, practical and effective. The type of research developed is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. The research subjects were students of class IX semester 1 at SMPN 1 Jenggawah. The research data was analyzed based on several criteria. The results of the LKPD development obtained validity test results with a score of 91% (very valid). The practicality test results obtained an average score of 92.5% (practical). The results of the effectiveness test obtained an average N-Gain of 0.67 (medium). Based on the research findings, LKPD based on Learning Cycle 5E assisted by PhET Simulation can provide innovation in learning resources as an alternative to improve the scientific reasoning abilities of junior high school students.

Abstract

Development and Validation of Google Sites Technology-Assisted Student Worksheet to Increase Students’ Collaboration Skills in Science Learning in Junior High School. This research is based on the problem of collaboration skills of students in class VIII F SMP Negeri 6 Jember which is still low in science learning conducted by observation. One way to overcome this is to develop E-LKPD assisted by Google Sites to improve students' collaboration skills. The purpose of the study was to examine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of E-LKPD assisted by Google Sites to enhance student collaboration skills in science learning. The research design uses Research and Development (R&D) with the Plomp development model which includes preliminary research, prototyping stage, and evaluation stage. Products that have been developed, get a validation score of 94% with a very valid category. Practicality is 96.83% with a very practical category. The effectiveness of E-LKPD is 63% with the results of the N-gain test with a moderate category, 77% self-assessment with a high category in collaboration, and 88% student response questionnaire with a very good category. The results of this study can conclude that E-LKPD assisted by Google Sites can be said to be valid, practical, and effective in learning science in junior high school.

Abstract

Pembelajaran mufradat adalah merupakan materi yang paling awal harus diajarkan kepada para pembelajar Bahasa Arab. Karena penutur Bahasa Asing yang baik adalah mereka yang menguasai banyak mufradat atau kosakata dari Bahasa Asing tertentu sehingga ia bisa berkomunikasi dengan penutur bahasa aslinya. Oleh karenanya pengajaran kosakata adalah pengajaran yang sangat penting untuk dilakukan. Termasuk di TPQ Roudlotul Athfal Wonosari Gunungkidul, semua santrinya sedari dini diajarkan untuk mengenal, menghafal, dan menguasai mufradat Bahasa Arab. Melalui penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif ini akan dipaparkan tentang bagaimana ustadz ustadzah di TPQ Roudlotul Athfal Wonosari Gunungkidul mengajarkan mufradat Bahasa Arab menggunakan metode bernyanyi dengan Kitab Nadzam “Ra’sun Sirah” sebagai buku ajar yang menjadi acuan pengajarannya. Melalui metode bernyanyi dengan menggunakan Kitab Nadzam “Ra’sun Sirah” tersebut, para santri TPQ Roudlotul Athfal Wonosari Gunungkidul dapat dengan mudah menguasai banyak menambah perbendaharaan mufradat Bahasa Arab mereka. Abstract

الكشف التاريخي عن حقائق الماضية دائما مثيرة للاهتمام. على سبيل المثال، اكتشف الباحث حقائق تاريخية مثيرة للاهتمام للغاية وهي أن المجتمع الجاوي ومجتمع آتشيه، اللذين كانت بينهما علاقة متوترة إلى حد ما خلال هذا الوقت، يبدو أنه كانت بينهما علاقة وثيقة في الماضي، حتى أنهما كانا إخوة. هناك حقيقة تاريخية أخرى مثيرة للاهتمام وهي أن سلطنة آتشيه كانت لها على ما يبدو علاقات مع قوة كبرى خارج نوسانتارا، وهي الخلافة العثمانية. أثارت هذه الحقيقة التاريخية خيال الباحث حول العلاقة بين المسلمين الجاويين وغيرهم من المسلمين في نوسانتارا وخارجها في الماضي. وبهذا الخيال حاول الباحث العثور على مقالات أو كتب حول العلاقة بين المسلمين الجاويين، سواء مع المسلمين المحليين أو المسلمين الدوليين في الماضي. ونتيجة لذلك، شعر الباحث بخيبة الأمل لأن البحث في هذا الموضوع يمكن القول بأنه غير كاف. والمقال الذي بين يدي القارئ هو نتيجة بحث أجاب فيه الباحث عن خيبة الأمل أعلاه. ومن خلال الجمع بين البيانات التاريخية من نوسانتارا والبيانات التاريخية من تركيا في شكل مخطوطات الخلافة العثمانية التي حصل عليها الباحث من المكتبة التركية في كاغيتانه اسطنبول، حصل الباحث على مصادر معلومات كافية من القرن السادس عشر الميلادي إلى القرن التاسع عشر الميلادي، كان هناك تحالف غير عادي بين المسلمين الجاويين وسلطنة آتشيه والخلافة العثمانية. ولم تكن الطريقة التي استخدمها الباحث هي البحث المكتبي فقط، بل أكثر من ذلك، قام الباحث أيضًا بزيارة عدة أماكن مهمة تتعلق بهذا البحث، بما في ذلك مسجد ديماك الكبير الذي أصبح رمزًا للمسلمين الجاويين في أوائل القرن الحديث وقصر توبكابي الذي أصبح رمزا لروعة الخلافة العثمانية. وباستخدام خطوات بحثية صارمة، توصل الباحث أخيرًا إلى استنتاج مفاده أنه في الماضي، وتحديدًا منذ القرنين السادس عشر والتاسع عشر الميلاديين، كان هناك تحالف غير عادي بين المسلمين الجاويين وسلطنة آتشيه والخلافة العثمانية. يمكن أن تكون نتائج هذا البحث مساهمة علمية، خاصة فيما يتعلق بالعلاقة بين المسلمين الجاويين وغيرهم من المسلمين، محليًا ودوليًا

Abstract

This study develop an e-module for Natural Science learning by integrating the local potential of Grenden Village to enhance junior high school students' digital literacy. The integration of local potential is relevant because it provides contextual learning experiences, making science concepts more relatable and engaging for students. The e-module was developed using the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Puger, involving 36 students. Key results indicate that the e-module achieved a validity score of 90% (highly valid), a practicality score of 94% (very practical), and an N-gain score of 0.64 (medium effectiveness). Additionally, student satisfaction reached 88%, reflecting a positive response. In conclusion, the e-module based on Grenden Village’s local potential is valid, practical, and effective in improving students' digital literacy. By integrating local contexts, it provides a meaningful learning experience, enhances student motivation, and supports independent learning.

Abstract

Seorang yang ingin menguasai Bahasa Arab dengan baik, salah satu disiplin ilmu yang harus dipelajari adalah Nahwu. Dengan menguasai Nahwu seorang pembelajar akan terhindar dari kesalahan baik secara lisan atau tulisan. Oleh karenanya mempelajari, memahami, dan menguasai Nahwu adalah hal yang wajib bagi pembelajar bahasa Arab. Mempelajari Nahwu akan terasa sulit bagi pembelajar yang belum memiliki basic sama sekali dibanding pembelajar yang sudah memiliki basic Nahwu yang kuat. Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab secara umum ada disetiap sekolah formal yang berada di bawah Kemenag. Akan tetapi tetapi mempelajari Bahasa Arab yang khusus fokus pada Nahwu sangat intens dipelajari di pondok pesantren yang ada di seluruh Indonesia termasuk juga Gunungkidul. Melalui penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif didapatkan satu fakta bahwa buku ajar yang dipakai dan juga metode pembelajaran yang dipakai dalam mengajarkan Ilmu Nahwu mayoritasnya memiliki kesamaan. Buku ajar yang dipakai; (1)Nahwu Wadlih, (2) Jurumiyah, (3) Imrithi, dan (4) Alfiyah. Sedangkan metode pengajarannya adalah; (1) Metode Sorogan, (2) Metode Bandongan, dan (3) perpaduan antara kedua metode tersebut.

Abstract

Developing an E-module based on a mobile learning application is used to improve the critical thinking skills of junior high school science students. Objective: This research aims to develop products in e-modules based on mobile learning applications that are valid, practical, and effective. Methods: The research method used is the ADDIE development model, which includes five stages: analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating. The data analysis techniques used are validation sheets for validity tests and observation sheets for learning implementation for practicality. And the N-gain test and student questionnaire to test effectiveness. Results: Based on the results of the data analysis conducted, e-modules based on mobile learning applications have obtained valid results with average validation scores from the three validators, namely 83%, e-modules based on mobile learning in learning are considered very practical as teaching materials in science learning in junior high school because they get an average score of 94%, e-modules based on mobile learning applications are also considered to have been effective and feasible to use as teaching materials during science learning in junior high school because they have used e-modules based on mobile learning applications, students' thinking skills increase with grades N-gain with a high score of 0.77 and student response with a score of 74% with a good category. Novelty:  Previous researchers have never done this research, which develops e-modules based on mobile learning applications to improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Objective: Critical thinking skills are a crucial component of education. However, in the context of education in Indonesia, the development of critical thinking skills has not yet reached the expected level. The low level of students' critical thinking skills is due to the limited use of innovative learning media in science education at school. One potential solution is the use of contextual-based e-comics. This study aims to evaluate the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of contextual-based e-comic products. Method: The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model.  Results:  The validity of the contextual-based e-comics received an average score of 90%, placing it in the very valid category. The practicality score averaged 89%, categorized as very practical. The effectiveness measured by an average N-Gain of 0.70, falls into the high category with a student response rate of 95% and classified as very good. Novelty: This study introduces an innovation in learning media by developing e-comics that integrate a contextual approach to improve junior high school students’ critical thinking skills in plantation areas.  The selection of plantation areas adds a novel aspect and differentiates this study from previous studies, aiming specifically to improve critical thinking skills of junior high school students in plantation areas.

Abstract

Science literacy is an important component in science learning to help students understand science concepts, build science knowledge, and apply it in life. Students' science literacy level is still low and requires further guidance due to learning that does not support students' science literacy skills. The research aims to develop E-LKPD based on Three Dimensional Thinking Graph that is valid, practical, and effective to improve science literacy in junior high school science learning. This research uses development research (Research and Development). The research procedure used is the ADDIE model with the stages of Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate. The product has been applied to students of class VII-C SMP Negeri 6 Jember, with the results that E-LKPD based on Three Dimensional Thinking Graph gets a percentage of 90.5% categorized as very valid, declared very practical getting a percentage of 93.27%, effective to improve science literacy by obtaining an N-gain score of 0.70 which is categorized as high and getting a very good response getting a percentage of 92.52%. This research indicates that E-LKPD based on Three Dimensional Thinking Graph has high validity, is practical in its use, and is effective in supporting junior high school science learning.
