This study determined the influence of school-based management and teacher professionalism both partially and simultaneously on the performance of teachers of State Junior High Schools in Prabumulih Timur, Indonesia. The sample of this study were 135 civil servant teachers. Research data collection techniques 1) questionnaire; 2) documentation; and 3) observation. The research data analysis technique used the SPSS for Windows 21. The results of this study indicate that: 1) there is a significant influence of school-based management on the performance of state junior high school teachers in the District of Prabumulih Timur, Prabumulih City; 2) there is a significant influence of teacher professionalism on the performance of teachers of SMP Negeri in the District of Prabumulih Timur, Prabumulih City; 3) there is a significant influence of school-based management and teacher professionalism together on the performance of teachers of SMP Negeri in Prabumulih Timur, Indonesia.

The world of education continues to be demanded to be able to produce human resources in accordance with the needs of the community and employment in line with the development of technology and culture of the community. This study examines 1) is there an influence of professional competence on teacher performance; 2) is there any influence of pedagogical competence on teacher performance; and 3) is there an influence of professional competence and pedagogical competence together on teacher performance. The results of the study prove both partially and simultaneously there is an influence of professional competence and pedagogical competence on teacher performance. This research contributes to the teacher because the teacher is a very dominant and strategic element in the process of knowledge transfer. Teaching skills are a hallmark of the teaching profession. Achievement of learning goals and success in overcoming learning problems much depends on the ability or competence of teachers.

This qualitative study explored the principal's managerial in improving the quality of education in primary school. This research was conducted at SDN 2 Tungkal Ilir, SDN 10 Tungkal Ilir and SDN 18 Tungkal Ilir. The research instruments in this study were interviews. Qualitative data analysis is iterative and continuous effort. Three stages of data analysis were carried out, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study concluded that the principal was able to carry out managerial in improving the quality of education at the State Elementary School in Tungkal Ilir. The way the principal in fostering, directing teachers in the learning process is considered good through the principal's managerial. Besides that, the principal in carrying out managerial tasks has been able to overcome obstacles at school. This paper contribute to more deeply concern on principal’s managerial where we could have good quality of education.

This study finds out more about the role of principal supervision through the principal functions in improving the professionalism of teachers. The instruments in this study were interview sheet, observation sheet, and documentation study. Data analysis is made after the data and information obtained in accordance with the needs are compiled, classified and formulated on the basis of data interpretation. The results showed that the work program prepared by the principal in fostering teachers has a positive impact on teacher competence. Supervision of the principal is carried out periodically in fostering teachers. This paper contributes to the school in fostering teachers so that they can be more professional in carrying out their duties through supervision carried out by the principal.

Qualified teachers play a very important role in improving learning process in schools. Teachers who are able to use facilities as learning resources will have a positive impact on student success at school. The more complete facilities in the school, the more motivated students will be in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of facilities and motivation on student learning outcomes at SMA PGRI Gelumbang. The type of research conducted was quantitative which analyze the questionnaire data, which is then analyzed using SPSS For Windows. The results of the study indicate that there is an influence of learning facilities and motivation together either simultaneously or partially on student learning outcomes in high school. This paper contibutes to more focus on facilities and motivation to have quality learning outcomes.

The function of principal leadership in the successful delivery of education in schools is critical. It is possible to optimize the work ethic of teachers in their tasks via strong leadership. It is considered that if leadership is carried out successfully and work ethic is ideal, it would be able to support instructors' good performance. As a result, the purpose of this study was to determine the impact of a principal's leadership and a teacher's work ethic on teacher performance. This study was carried out using quantitative research methodologies. According to the findings of this study, the principal's leadership and teacher work ethic had a favorable and substantial impact on the performance of state junior high school teachers, both partially and concurrently.

The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of the workplace and teacher’s certification on teacher’s performance. This study was conducted at State Vocational Schools in the Ogan Komering Ilir district, with 95 teachers serving as participants. This study is quantitative by using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation as instruments. Validity and reliability tests were performed on the research instrument, as well as prerequisite tests for analysis of normality, linearity, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests. Descriptive analysis, simple linear regression, multiple regression correlation, and the coefficient of determination were used to analyze the data. The findings indicate that the workplace and teacher’s certification have an impact on teacher’s performance.

This study was conducted with the aim of testing 1) the magnitude of the influence of self-efficacy on the professional competence of teachers; 2) the magnitude of the influence of the work environment on the professional competence of teachers; and 3) the magnitude of the influence of self-efficacy and the work environment together on the professional competence of teachers. The method used in the implementation of this research is quantitative. The population and sample in this study were high school teachers in Lais District are SMAN 1 Lais, SMAN 2 Lais and SMAN 3 Lais. The results of the study stated that there was a positive and significant effect of self-efficacy and the work environment on the professional competence of teachers. In previous research, it examined more teacher’s performance factors as a focus of success. The novelty of this study is the focus on the success of quality education on teacher’s professional competence. The teacher’s professional competence needs serious attention from various parties, and efforts to increase factors related to teacher’s professional competence such as self-efficacy and work environment.

This paper examined is there an effect of the teacher’s work group activities and work motivation partially and simultaneously on the teacher’s professional competence? this study is a quantitative research design, by testing the independent variables on the dependent variable. We used purposive sampling technique to determine the sample. The main sample used in the implementation of this research were 66 people who came from 5 primary schools in Lempuing Jaya District. In this study the main source used was the questionnaire technique, while for additional data it was carried out by utilizing information that was already available through documentation. The data obtained from the implementation of the research was then tested so that the results achieved could be described, and conclusions could be drawn from the tests that had been carried out. Testing is carried out in two stages, prerequisites and actual testing to prove the acceptance or rejection of the research hypothesis. The results obtained indicate that there is a positive and significant effect of teacher work group activities and work motivation both partially and jointly on the professional competence of teachers

One of the abilities required of a school administrator as a leader is managerial competency. Principals may effectively manage education if they have excellent managerial skills, just as teachers must have professional skills in order to carry out their tasks. Management and professional skills are both essential for school principals and instructors. It is envisaged that these abilities would improve educational quality. As a result, this study was done to investigate the impact of school administrators’ administrative competency and teachers’ professional competence on educational quality. This research will be carried out utilizing a quantitative descriptive technique. According to the findings of this study, when examined independently, the administrative competency of school principals has a significant impact on the quality of education. Teacher professional competence has a positive and considerable effect on educational quality and is in the moderate range. According to the simultaneous test, the principal’s administrative competence and the teacher’s professional competence had a positive and substantial impact on the quality of education at SMA Negeri in Kayuagung, with a reasonably high degree of influence.
