Abstract

The transition from adolescence to adulthood often poses significant challenges for new students, especially during the transition from high school to college. This community service program aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Introduction to Campus Life Program for New Students (PKKMB) at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Mulawarman University, class of 2024. The implementation of this activity was attended by 696 students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Mulawarman University, class of 2024. The instrument used in this community service program was a questionnaire in the form of a Google form, which was distributed from August 12 to August 22, 2024. The results of this community service program showed that shouts and togetherness were the most memorable moments. The participants enjoyed interaction with new friends, creative performances, and collaboration between study programs. Although the PKKMB event was considered positive, several aspects needed improvement, including the comfort of the facilities, food quality, and time management. Recommendations include improving refrigeration facilities, consumption quality, and setting more efficient schedules. Overall, although there were several technical and operational suggestions for improvement, respondents showed a high level of satisfaction with this PKKMB event and praised the committee for their responsive and friendly performance.

Abstract

The problem in this study was that many students did not attend extracurricular activities, were often lazy, talked a lot to themselves, and did not listen to the trainer's instructions during the training process. This study aims to find out how well the students' motivation at SMP Negeri 1 Talang Kelapa and students at SMP Negeri 2Talang Kelapa participate in extracurricular futsal. This type of research uses descriptive quantitative survey methods, the total population in this study is 30 students with a sample of 15 students at SMPN 1 Talang Kelapa and 15 students at SMPN 2Talang Kelapa, the instrument used is a questionnaire and the sampling technique isProbability Sampling is one of a sampling technique that provides equal opportunitiesfor each element (member) of the population to be selected as a member of the sample. The results of the research on the motivation of students to take part in Futsal Sports Extracurricular at State Junior High Schools in the Talang Kelapa District have a fairly good effect. 7 people at 23.4%, in the less category as much as 1 person at 3.0%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence agility training has on the ability to dribblesoccer players at the Bhayangkara Youth Club Sungai Rotan, Muaraenim Regency. The problemin this research is whether there is an effect of agility training on the ability to dribble footballplayers at the Bhayangkara Sungai Rotan Youth Club, Muaraenim Regency. This research methodwill use a quantitative descriptive method and the type of research is quasi-experimental in theone-group pretest-protest design category. The sample in this study amounted to 20 people. Thesample is part of the number and characteristics possessed by the population. If the population islarge and the researcher can't study everything in the population, for example, due to limitedfunds, manpower, and time. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by tests and measurements. This study gave the result that there was an effect of agility training on the ability to dribble the football athletes at the Bhayangkara Sungai Rotan Youth Club resulting in an average dribbling ability of the initial test players was 33.36 seconds, and the average dribbling ability of the final test players is 32.89 seconds. Judging from the increase in dribbling speed for the Bayangkara Sungai Rotan Youth Club players, it is known that agility training has a good effect on the players, it is proven that there is an increase in speed in the average final ability of the Bhayangkara Sungai Rotan Youth Club players.

Abstract

The problem in this study was learning that was found to jump far which still had not been completed learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of the two by two stray method on the long jump learning outcomes of class VII students of MTS Al-Ikhsan Betung. The research method used in this study is an experimental method with the type of one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sampleconsisted of 22 people using the total population technique. The data collection technique was carried out using a psychomotor performance test. Research data analysis techniques using paired-samples t-test. Based on the research findings and analysis of research data, this study concludes that there is an effect of the two staytwo stray methods on the long jump learning outcomes of class VII MTS Al-Ikhsan Betung because t-count > t-table (6.548 > 1.72).

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan karagenan terhadap kualitas fisik dan organoleptik nugget ayam. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode kuantitatif eksperimen menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) P0 (Tanpa penambahan karagenan), P1 (penambahan 1,0% karagenan), P2 (penambahan 1,5% karagenan), P3 (penambahan 2,0% karagenan), P4 (penambahan 2,5% karagenan) dan P5 (penambahan 3,0% karagenan) dengan 4 kali ulangan. Parameter yang di ukur yaitu kualitas fisik (pH dan susut masak) dan organoleptik (warna, aroma, rasa, dan tekstur). Data diolah menggunakan uji One way ANOVA, dan apabila berpengaruh nyata dilanjut pada uji lanjut Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penambahan karagenan tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pH dan susut masak. Hasil terendah rata-rata nilai pH yaitu P5 dengan nilai 6,47 , dan nilai rata-rata terendah susut masak yaitu P4 dengan nilai 3,71%. Hasil uji organoleptik pada penambahan karagenan berpengaruh nyata terhadap warna dan tekstur, sedangkan pada aroma dan rasa tidak berpengaruh nyata. Nilai rata-rata tertinggi pada warna yaitu P0 (4,37) dengan kriteria agak putih), nilai rata-rata tertinggi aroma yaitu P1 (3,52) dengan kriteria sedang, nilai rata-rata tertinggi rasa yaitu P4 (3,38) dengan kriteria sedang, nilai rata-rata tertinggi tekstur yaitu P3 (4,50) dengan kriteria agak kenyal.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara yang rawan terhadap bencana gempa bumi dan tsunami. Kearifan lokal sebagai pengetahuan dan cara pandang masyarakat yang berkembang dari proses adaptasi hingga inovasi berkelanjutan, dapat menjadi sumber intelijen bencana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi kearifan lokal sebagai sumber intelijen kebencanaan dalam penanggulangan bencana gempa bumi dan tsunami di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kearifan lokal dapat dimanfaatkan dalam berbagai aspek penanggulangan bencana, mulai dari edukasi, peringatan dini, hingga mitigasi. Kearifan lokal dapat menjadi sumber informasi tentang tanda-tanda bencana, sistem peringatan dini tradisional, dan praktik mitigasi bencana yang efektif. Meskipun terdapat beberapa tantangan seperti kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang kearifan lokal dan lemahnya integrasi terhadap sistem intelijen bencana modern, kearifan lokal tetap memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan ketahanan masyarakat terhadap bencana gempa bumi dan tsunami. Pelibatan tokoh-tokoh masyarakayt dan integrasi kearifan lokal dalam sistem intelijen bencana secara formal dapat memperkuat upaya penanggulangan bencana gempa bumi dan tsunami di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the dynamics of challenges, strategies, and institutional implications in realizing participatory development in Gunung Sari Ilir Village, with a particular focus on the role and legitimacy of the Community Empowerment Institution (LPM) as a central actor in local governance. The research explores how structural power relations, administrative capacity, and citizen participation interact to shape the effectiveness and social credibility of participatory institutions. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach supported by thematic and inferential analysis, the study employs in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis to capture the complex social realities of community participation. The data were analyzed through a combination of thematic coding and interpretive synthesis to identify the patterns of legitimacy construction, governance challenges, and adaptive institutional responses. The findings reveal that participatory development in Gunung Sari Ilir is constrained by persistent elite influence, limited administrative professionalism, and weak transparency mechanisms that collectively undermine trust and inclusiveness. Despite these barriers, local actors employ adaptive strategies such as community consultation, leadership strengthening, and information openness to enhance institutional legitimacy and promote collaborative development practices. The study concludes that participatory governance is not a linear process but an evolving negotiation between institutional structures and social actors, where legitimacy is continuously constructed through transparency, accountability, and communicative engagement. This research contributes to the broader understanding of local governance by highlighting the interdependence between institutional capacity, social trust, and participatory sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to identify policy formulation and inhibiting factors in the formation of local regulations related to the Empowerment, Development, and Protection of Micro Enterprises in Samarinda City. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, collecting data from several sources such as interviews, official documents, and field observations. The findings show that this policy serves as a form of support for national regulations and solutions to overcome various problems faced by micro business actors in Samarinda City. However, the process of forming this regional regulation still encounters several obstacles: lack of human resource capabilities, lack of communication between DPRD leaders and Bapemperda members, lack of commitment and inefficient time management during the formulation process, and the absence of permanent regulations that regulate the work mechanism and stages of the formation functionThis study recommends capacity building for DPRD members and AKD Support Staff, improving effective communication between the Leadership and Bapemperda, improving integrated time management, and establishing special DPRD regulations that regulate the procedural rules and mechanisms of the regional regulation formation process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and explain the influence of leadership, rewards, motivation and discipline on the Work Productivity of Employees at Sarila Husada Hospital Sragen. The population of this study was 200 employees of Sarila Husada Hospital Sragen with a sample of 35 people using a simple random sampling method. Data collection using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using the Multiple Linear Analysis method. The results of the study showed that leadership, rewards, motivation and discipline had a positive and significant effect by contributing to productivity by 81.8% while the remaining 18.2% was explained by other variables not proposed in this study. Suggestions from this study, employees of Sarila Husada Hospital Sragen can improve motivation and discipline in leadership that provides awards in accordance with work results in order to increase productivity in the hospital.Keywords: Productivity, Leadership, Awards, Motivation, Discipline, Employees

Abstract

Amidst the challenges of globalization that erode national identity, Civic Education in higher education becomes an important instrument to foster students' sense of nationalism. This study aims to determine the perspectives of students at Universitas PGRI Wiranegara (Uniwara) regarding the role of Civic Education in building an attitude of love for the homeland. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with several students from various faculties. The findings show that students view Civic Education as an effective means to understand the values of Pancasila, the history of the nation's struggle, and civic responsibility, which strengthens the sense of nationalism. However, they were criticized the monotonous teaching methods and the lack of relevance of the material to current issues, such as tolerance and diversity. This study implies the need for Civic Education curriculum reform with an interactive approach, such as group discussions and the use of digital media, to increase its relevance and impact in forming contextual nationalism. These findings contribute to the development of educational strategies that are responsive to the needs of the younger generation in the global era, especially at Uniwara, and strengthen the commitment of higher education in maintaining national identity
